The rooms are really excellent and the breakfast is equally good. The pool is large and clean. The pool sun umbrellas are too small and everyone is fighting for the shade. A small point and easily rectified. The Wi-Fi in our room was quite poor and rhis was frustrating. Those two issues aside the hotel is wonderful

The staff were absolutely incredible. The rooms were beautiful, right on the beach and great pool. Felt like luxury.
Couldn’t recommend enough.
The hotel is a short taxi or drive to the main town if you want to go to a bar, or shops but it was perfect being a little away for a real peaceful relaxing trip.

Very pretty room, but so poorly setup as to be almost unusable. AC had trouble coping during the day. Possibly because it hadn't been serviced for a long time. Filthy intake. Only usable powerpoint in the room was adjacent to the hand basin in the bathroom area. Not good. The pretty veranda was unusable. Either in direct sunlight, or getting rained on. Restaurant provided a good breakfast, but in the evening, food was mediocre at best, and hugely overpriced. To add insult to injury, service charge and tax was also added. Restaurant next door along the beach was far superior food quality, and a quarter the price with better service. Not surprisingly, will not return.

Quaint hotel with a magical pull

Boutique oasis virtually hidden from the beach and road yet with gardens true to the tropics. Some of the rooms are showing their age but, for us at least, it is a small price to pay to stay in a price of heaven. Pleased to see them adhere to ‘adults only’
The beach is 5km of white sand often with less than a dozen people on it.
Fantastic food can had in the hotel and along the beach.
As a repeat visitor I’m delighted to see stylish new parasols and smart beds.
The WiFi infrastructure has been improved tremendously too. With true gigabit WiFi available within a twenty minute stroll (Ma Ma Lak) the in-house will certainly deliver on most of your needs.
Despite staying at other places in the region we were again pleased to have stayed at Bangsak Village Hotel

Tropical oasis. Quaint peacefulness.

We have stayed before and will again. Much of the hotel is aged now but to us that’s part of its charm. The gardens are superb, the staff genuinely friendly and the atmosphere perfectly tranquil.

The showers and baths are excellent whether your stay in an older or newer room.

The chefs work hard but then they have to with excellent options within walking distance (south!) along the long perfect white sand beach.

What needs improvement:
•mattresses far to bouncy for most
•WiFi is very poorly configured and deployed. The hotel actually does have decent speed (70mb +) and bandwidth but the login process is archaic and offers no security at all. The deployment around the hotel and its grounds is hugely frustrating and with simple changes, by a competent professional, could be much improved. Tip: if you need to work do so at night in the lobby and don’t expect to stream in the evening.

I came for 2 nights ended up staying 8; clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff; not an extensive but cozy, clean and exclusive enough beach; eco-friendly property. This is my second review as I kept extending my stay; I can only say good things about this place. Restaurant staff is so kind and attentive, I will miss their smiling faces.The pool is nice and well cared. I stayed in one of the round structure two floor huts, on the upper floor; each four them also share a pool, separate from the main pool. I loved my room and its lovely architecture. Bangsak is 16 minutes away by taxi from Khoa Lak center; which makes it even more quiet. I liked the peaceful atmosphere and the beach sunsets.

A good place to find your inner peace, relax and get rest. The rooms are clean and well cared for; the staff is friendly and helpful, the beach is clean and quiet. The cuisine is good, as a vegetarian, I feel like I live in a world of meat-obsession and this place has plenty of meat and fish dishes which I am sure are delicious but I could find my own niche of vegetables selection and could live with it. I originally planned to stay for 2 nights but now I am extending it to 4 more.15 minutes taxi ride away from central Lhoa Lak; which is ideal; they have shuttle in the evening if you want to mix in the flow there, night life and shopping. The premises is not too big, a bit cozy and smaller than the large holiday villages but sometimes that is what you need. The reception staff and restaurant staff are extremely nice and helpful.

Overall, we enjoyed our time at Bangsak Village.

Although the staff had limited English at times, they were friendly and came alive when we used a translator app.

The outlook onto the pool and being very close to the beach was great (we upgraded to the Chalet room and stayed in Room 101, which is the closest to the beach).

It was relaxing lounging in the pool as you could see the outlook of the sea whilst being in the pool.

A favourite was having a daily massage, which was well priced (400 baht for an hour), and we could charge it to our room. Thus, we didn't need cash to pay each time - very convenient. We chose the “Alovera” (Aloe Vera) massage as it had a pleasant aroma and included a mini facial when they put some of your face too.

The restaurant’s Massaman Curry was so delicious we had it several days in a row. A little spicy with slow-cooked chunks of beef. Delicious!

Versus our previous accommodation (mainly Aussies like us, Bangsak Village seemed to be favoured by Germans, making it challenging to have idle chitchat. But, this suited us as we wanted to chill and relax for our week’s stay.

Happy hour for 3 hrs (2 for 1) was great - cocktails were good and well-priced (240 baht for 2).

The resort is isolated (unable to walk to town), but they had bikes & car hire).

For the price, Bangsak Village was a great stay.

Great location in a natural setting, very enthusiastic and helpful staff, wonderful pool and clean beach. The Chalet rooms are worth the extra. Food quality was good but could have done with more selection on A'la Carte menus. But there are local restaurants a short walk either side of the beach. Also try floating vegetables (see Google maps) a short scooter ride up the road.. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Lack of attention to detail

You can read all the good stuff elsewhere. This focuses on what they need to do better; which is very frustrating for a hotel that quite clearly has the potential to be fantastic.
Water; why are you makIng such a half hearted effort with plastics? There are two fresh 500ml glass bottles in the room each day next to a 1.5 litre plastic bottle.
If you want more water during the day the only possibility within the hotel is to but $1 500ml plastic bottles. When I explained that is not good enough, especially having seen the water drums that are delivered for kitchens at least they were honest enough to simply reply “economics”.
The other really lazy thing that can be dealt with at little cost is the terrible eyesore of the poor quality black ugly flaccid parasols around the pool and on the beach and those outside the restaurant that were once white but now have mild and algae growing in them. I addressed this with the hotel at the time with the result being a single repair.

None of this is to say the other positive reviews are false. I just expect it to be Right at $200 a night for a cottage

A final point: most of the waiting staff were wearing Trainee badges so a accept their inconsistencies.

We stayed in the Bungalow which was roomy, however there was no seating in the room except for the bed. Bangsak Village location is too far out of town, and the hotel shuttle is not free and only goes once a day to the Village at 6pm. We opted for taxi's as that gave us more flexibility.
The pool umbrellas could be larger for better sun protection. We were there for 7 days and the choices for breakfast were the same every day!

We have visited several parts of Thailand but this was our first time to khaolak.
We were not disappointed and had a fantastic time.
Bangsak village is a brilliant hotel on the seafront. The setup of the hotel is lovely with rooms surrounded with plants and lots of wildlife. (butterflies, gekos and lizards) the hotel is very quiet and the staff are lovely.
Breakfast has a good selection to choose from. Not like some hotels where there is an abundance of choice but I think this is better as the quality is very good.
You could easily have a bare foot holiday as the beach goes on and on and is lovely to walk on any time of the day. The sea was the temperature of bath water. There are some restaurants on the seafront like the hotel restaurant and is fantastic to sit with a cocktail to watch the sun set.
The hotel has a massage place that I used a few times. Very well priced and lots of choice. Book early as this did get busy.
The hotel offers a shuttle to the night market in the centre of khaolak that we took advantage of twice during our visit and went for food and found a fab little bar.
Personally I found the hotels animal's brilliant. A few dogs and a cat. All very friendly and very well kept. You could find the dogs just by some of the tables on the sand that would come for a stroke but did not fuss you while eating or at the hotel. I liked the fact the hotel had a little sign asking not to feed the dogs but making it clear the hotel fed them twice daily.

Bangsak Village is in a beautiful setting with amazing gardens. The pool is lovely with beach right in front. It is a very relaxing place with wonderful staff who go out of their way to help you. Rooms are tastefully decorated with plenty of room to stretch out. Outside sitting area was lovely too facing the gardens.

Alpine, the manager, made certain that we were well taken care of and helped so much with our transportation issues. Top notch staff all around!
This is a tranquil escape and we appreciated that there was no music around the pool. On-site restaurant was great for dinner, drinks or snacks around the pool. Could not have been more pleased with our stay.

Bangsak Village was a lovely place for a relaxed stay on the beach in Khao Lak. We thought it was great value for money, the grounds were beautiful - lots of trees and greenery, the pool was lovely, and the property directly on the quiet beach. We stayed in a chalet, which was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet.
Overall it was a homely, friendly, relaxing place to stay.

Lovely hotel. Room was very modern & new. Cleaning wasn’t too good. Sideboard wasn’t cleaned once & was covered in ants in our upstairs room. As was the balcony area. In the end we cleaned it ourselves. Hotel sold as an adults only, however this is not the case as children of 12 years & above are permitted. Too many in beachfront pool etc. Since when was a 12 year old classes as an adult Hotels.com??????
Hotel grounds are very pretty but nothing around in the vicinity & hotel charges to drop & pick up in Khao Lak which is 15+ mins drive away.

Relaxation plus!

Travelled with a friend, child free for some much needed R&R. We literally booked this place at the airport on our way to Thailand. We got an incredible deal which allowed us to book a room each. Ridiculously cheap due to the wet season yet we had perfect weather. The deal also included breakfast and we were upgraded when we arrived. I can not rave about this place enough. The rooms were stunning so much so I took a heap of photos and am designing my new house based on their styling. The food at the restaurant was to die for. Not one bad meal! Lunch and a cocktail daily by the pool was our little luxury but easily affordable. Breakfast buffet was extensive and was different every day. The staff are just devine. So sweet and can’t do enough to help you. The pools are so clean and refreshing we could not get enough. The only down side was the beach which was closed due to the dangerous currents. The beaches were covered in plastic rubbish which I found disturbing and am now on a plastic free kick here at home. I can not wait to go back!

Worst experience in Khao Lak

Had the worst experience this trip in bangsak!!The restaurant is horrible, both Thai food and western food are really bad, even the smoothies. There’s no other restaurant near by which made it a total nightmare (front desk recommend us to just walk along the beach for 10 mind and there will be another restaurant, ended up walking along the dirty beach for more then 30mins, it was very scary)
Still the room itself is nice and cozy, we love the room and the pool, but that’s pretty much it.........

Service is really bad, the hot water in our room doesn’t work, called front desk for more than 3 times yet no one show up.

We tried to communicate with the hotel manger about how disappointed we were, yet he’s attitude was really bad. Sad that he didn’t “agree” with us that the food is bad and it’s not a problem at all. He didn’t even tried to understand what we are going through. And of course, refuse to refund. We don’t care about the refund that much but his attitude was just unbearable, which made it worse especially we were already so upset about the whole experience.

For this price range, you could find a much better resort with a much better attitude!!!!!

After a miserable bus ride, the staff here were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They dealt with are booking accidentally through two different sites and made us feel very welcome. We haven’t had this good of service for this rate anywhere in Thailand! Also - room, pool and beach are gorgeous!

You must go to the spa - great massages by lovely staff at very competitive prices we went nearly every day. Much better than the local massage places and better value. We had a bad experience organising the taxi transfer at the cafe on the beach next to the Bangsak butvthd taxi didn’t turn up keeping our deposit .....avoid it.

Great place to relax

Very nice place to escape. The location is quiet, so not for people who look to be in the thick of things, although you can hire a moped next door for 200tbh. The grounds and beach are very nice and the pool is amazing. Stuff is helpful and friendly, although for the international hotel, their English is a bit basic.
Breakfast is good. I recommend a local restaurant for dinner, The River Garden, who offer FREE pick up and drop off (ask at the reception)

We're a couple (no kids) and we holiday in Thailand every year. We've experienced many hotels in many different parts of the west coast of Phuket and the mainland, and we rate Bang Sak Village very highly. If you're wanting glitz and glamour, lavish touches, a fancy gym or a hotel for a family stay with kids, then this hotel is not for you. Bang Sak Village is perfect as a quiet getaway spot where you'll have comfort and rustic style, attentive and unobtrusive service, in a quiet hassle-free environment. The hotel has one of the best pools, and miles of unspoilt walkable beach.
We chose not to eat at the hotel, preferring to meander up the beach (10 mins easy walk, crossing a small river over a rickety bridge) where there're several beachside eateries, typical Thai style. And for the best seafood curry in a coconut that you'll ever experience, find MaMa's (roughly in the middle of all the eateries)!

Absolutely loved our stay!

This hotel is in quiet location. Closes restaurants are either 20 minute walk on the beach or 1 sea food restaurant in the front of the hotel. The food in the hotel is a bit more expensive than local restaurants but service is very good and I have to say that it was one of the best foods I have ever had in Thailand in my many visits in the past.
Rooms are great size, very light and airy with very comfortable bed.
The grounds are green with many flours. Swimming pool is great size with comfortable temperature.
Staff were helpful and due to our late arrival and the restaurant closes at 10pm, they even prepared sandwiches for us, which was very nice touch.
I honestly cannot say anything bad about this hotel.
If you like quiet, relaxing holiday, this is definitely the place to stay. This place does not accept children under 12 years old.

Notre premier séjour à Bangsak Village date de février 2024. Nous avions hâte d’y retourner tellement nous avions adoré cet hôtel. Et de nouveau le charme a opéré. C’est un endroit paisible et ressourçant avec du personnel toujours attentif à votre bien être. Les chambres sont fabuleuses et elles sont nichées dans un écrin de verdure qui préserve votre intimité. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute passer quelques jours à Bangsak Village.

Das Resort ist optimal gelegen und hat einen großen Pool, in dem man auch mal ein paar Bahnen schwimmen kann. Der nahegelegne Strand war bei uns kaum frequentiert. Frühstück gab es in Strandnähe und das Buffet war abwechselungsreich und sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und vor allem sehr fleißig. Die Freundlichkeit begegnet einem nicht nur am Buffet, überall im Resort ist das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir verbrachten eine sehr erholsame Zeit im Bangsak Village.

Resort pour couples sans enfants. Du coup, moyenne d'âge assez élevée et calme général. Sinon des chambres magnifiques ! Juste un souci avec la porte d'entrée qui ne couvre pas le sol. Ca laisse passer la lumière... voir d'autres choses ! Sinon staff adorable

Det rene Paradis!!

Dette hotel er det rene luksus, afslapning og paradis. Vi boede i et Ravenala Deluxe Room, og det kan virkelig anbefales. Dejligt værelset og med egen pool udenfor. Hotellet ligger lidt væk fra ting, men der er mulighed for våde restaurant og massage lige ved siden af ned på stranden. Jeg vil til hver en ting anbefale alle at besøge dette sted, hvis man er til luksus, god kvalitet og flot beliggenhed! Vi kommer bestemt tilbage.

Godt sted til afkobling og fred. Rigtig god service og fantastisk personale. En opdatering af brusekabinen på værelset vil gøre oplevelsen bedre.
Restauranten havde nye event næsten hver dag.
Roligt sted med ikke for mange værelser/gæster.
Receptionen er villige til at hjælpe med ønsker og udflugter. Kan varmt anbefales til dem der ønsker ro og ikke er midt i byens pulserende liv.

Schöne Anlage mit Renovierungsbedarf

Wir waren auf unserer Reise nur 3 Tage im Bangsak Village.
Uns gefiel beim Buchen das viele Grün in der Anlage und wir entschieden uns für ein Zimmer mit Poolzugang.
Unsre Begeisterung erhielt kurz nach Ankunft den ersten Dämpfer, als wir das Zimmer betraten. Das Zimmer roch wirklich unangenehm.Wahrscheinlich war die Klimaanlage längere Zeit abgeschaltet, da es am zweiten Tag erträglich wurde. Die Anlage wirkt im Außenbereich sehr gepflegt aber an den Gebäuden besteht unserer Meinung nach Renovierungsbedarf. Durch das viele sehr hohe Grün und die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit sind die Außenwände der Gebäude schimmelig fleckig. Der Strand ist Top und durch die wenigen Hotels hat man auch schon mal einen Kilometer für sich allein...Fazit: Anlage schön, Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit, aber es müsste an einigen Stellen etwas gemacht werden

Traumhafte, grüne und ruhige Anlage. Der Strand ist gepflegt und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und kompetent. Frühstück für Thailand gut und Preise im Hotel sind Human. Würde immer wieder dort hin reisen!

Les chambres autour de la piscine son assez spacieuse et confortable avec cependant quelques inconvénients comme une baignoire en béton en plein milieu et un oin repos inutile et inconfortable. Il aurait mieux fallu plutôt un coin salon avec un petit sofa, une table et 2 chaises pour pouvoir s'asseoir pour écrire par exemple.
Mais malgré cela cet hôtel vaut largement le détour pour son calme si vous voulez être loin du tourisme de masse. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Cet hôtel est un petit paradis. Cadre paradisiaque, extrêmement calme. Établi sur une magnifique plage bordée de filaos et de cocotiers. Personnel très disponible et aux petits soins pour les clients et nous avons beneficie d'un super dîner de Noël gratuit. Seul petit be mol il manque des lampes près du lit pour pouvoir lire le soir. Literie très confortable. Je recommande chaleureusement cet joy.

Lush greens and great beach

Bangsak Village is a beautiful oasis, with plenty of lush greens, shadows, a great beach and big pool. We spent two nights in a garden villa here and could have stayed longer if only the food would have been better. I would definitely come back for short stays and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful hotel to stay.

Zvolili jsme variantu cestování mimo hlavní sezonu, kdy sem tam prudce sprchne, ale posléze je opět teplo až dusno. Na výlety i relax u hotelového bazénu ideál. Ubytování odpovídalo našim požadavkům. Hotel je posazen do husté místní vegetace, pokoj prostorný a vkusný. Snídaně bohatá, včetně asijských dobrot. Následné stravování jsme řešili formou streetfoodů či lokálních restaurací, kde ceny jsou směšné. Doporučuji zapůjčit skútr (cca 200 BTH/den) a procestovat si okolí dle vlastních plánů a nezávislosti na místních agenturách. Též kvituji hotel bez dětí, ten klid je tam bez pochyb znát. Klientela zejména německá. Pláž skoro opuštěná, v okolí pouze další 3 resorty. Celkově ceny byly v režimu low season. Ideální tedy na test míchaných drinků, kterých je v nabídkách barů skutečně dosti. Transfer na letiště cca 1100 BTH/cesta. JV Asii mám v oblibě, takže toto nebyla poslední cesta.

Wenn's passt kommen wir wieder .....

Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, zum zweiten Mal in diesem schönen Resort Urlaubstage zu geniessen. Unser Coco Chalet vor dem Infinity Pool war optimal gelegen und wir konnten die Tage dort voll geniessen. Jeden Morgen haben wir uns auf unser Frühstück gefreut - für uns hat wirklich nichts gefehlt. Der Restaurantbereich mit dem wunderbaren Blick über den Superstrand zum Meer war jedes Mal ein Genuss. Das Meer am Bangsak Beach ist ist sehr sauber, man hat dort den ganzen Strand sehr häufig für sich allein. Die Wassertemparatur war in der zweiten Februarhäfte wie eigentlich immer dort wieder 32 Grad warm.
