Stayed in a premium pool access room on a b&b basis. Breakfast was plentiful. Loved the omelette station! Spent most days on the beach where pla & thep were able to find us beds at any time of day and their energy was always positive. Our pool was clean and lovely to chill out by after a long day at the beach. We saw they had themed nights where you could pay if you werent AI. Outside the hotel there are lots of restaurants to choose from and new ones being built. Would definitely come back to graceland!

Grand place - great breakfast - but it is of course the staff who make the difference. They were all great but special mention for...

Snow, Jenny & Bishnu at reception were absolutely excellent & particularly charming.
Nat in the recreation department was beyond expectation.
And Aun, Pong & King were all very helpful.
Iwould also like to thank the entire restaurant and kitchen staff for their baking & sining!

Dejligt ophold i Villa med privat pool - helt ugenert og meget tæt på stranden. Fuldstændig fantastisk ophold - vi havde meget glæde af poolen - meget venligt personale og super rengøring. Stranden er perfekt. Vi havde med morgenmad og den var også fin. Der er en hæveautomat og et godt supermarked lige uden for hotellet. Vi var opmærksomme på, at hotellet ligger noget øde, men fint for os. Ellers regn med 20 min kørsel til by/marked. Vælger du den store villa med pool ud mod stranden, så vær opmærksom på, du slet ikke er ugenert.

Our room has too many mosquitos, we used the plugin repellent but it didn’t work. The staff are very nice and accommodating, we like the breakfast buffet a lot very nice choices and the espresso bar was a great option.

Stunning and relaxed

We had a swim up pool room and it was well worth it. So nice to walk out of your room and straight into the pool !!
Our room was about 50 metres walk to the beach through the resort which was amazing. The beach area has such a relaxed feel. It was so relaxing. We didn't want to leave !!
On the beach are multiple local food and bar options. The local people were so nice with no pressure or stress.
We will be back.

We booked the family room which has 2 queen beds and separated living area with small kitchen.
The issue here was about the cleanliness since we found dried lizard drop on a couch, spider web in the corner. In Kitchen, microwave was broken, tap water has no water. Ceiling Lights was broken in small toilet room.
The good things are staffs they are very friendly and helpful, Food is awesome and so many variety.Facilities in the hotel is excellent and many activities we can do here.

This ticks every box for what you imagine Thailand is going to look like, the accommodation is excellent well worth paying a little extra and getting a room with pool access, The staff can not be more help full nothing to much trouble. the complex and rooms are spotless, plenty of places to eat and beach restaurants are very pleasant, would highly recommend for couples and families.

We booked pool access suite (moken). Room is spacious & comfortable. Very convenient to access the pool. We feel so happy that a surprise birthday cake was given to us.

We request a room with wheelchair accessible, hotel also well prepare for us. All the places at resort is wheelchair friendly.

A one point that highly appreciated is we able to join Similan islands trip with the assistance arrangement of hotel since we have a guest with wheelchair.

We were travelling in a large group. Each family experienced different problems. Poor communications skills from service staff. Beach staff were good. Housekeeping would ring the doorbell latte at night and would wake my grandchild. Have stayed at this hotel 3 times now but will not return. Very disappointing.

This resort was just what we were looking for, a quiet absolute beachfront property that has everything you could want to a get away either with or without teh kids.
We opted for a swim up room and it was perfect.
Breakfast was one of the best we have had ( we travel a lot ) cannot fault the hotel, was a tad far out of town but teh free shuttle was available several times a week.
We did lots of the free activities offered by the staff from morning yoga, pilates, stretch and tai chi classes everyday, even tried our hand at Thai writing.
The beach resturants were our favorite place in the evenings.
Overall a great stay.

Beautiful Resort but nothing nearby.

Lovely resort with amazing bedding ,beautiful pools ,lovely breakfast ,resort far from markets and town and only 2very basic mini marts at entrance for basics but at double the prices of Patong,had mayor issue at check in didn’t want to accept my hotels.com confirmation reception staff not at all friendly,there are restaurants on the beach or you can dine in but quite expensive by Thai standards ,everything at the resort you had to pay for like bowling ,use of push bikes pool tables etc.
Would I stay again prob not but if you do decide to stay take lots of mossie coils as mossies in rooms.

Highly recommend this resort.

It was good to stay here with relax. All staff were very kind and nice but only 1 thing I do not understand about their system. I should go to the front desk to book a shuttle service to go to Bang Niang Market and Khao Lak Town If I want. They did not confirm it when I called. It was quite inconvenient comparing other 4, 5 star hotels but I highly recommend this property.

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and unfortunately it did not leave up to expectations and the standard of service we had in the past. Bed needed fixing not enough towels only two but there was four staying in the room. Each and every day we had to request more.
We booked a pool access room which was lovely apart from having to share the pool with 20 or more children from the kids club every day, very noisy and unable to use the pool. Breakfast was very good if you get there before 9. Not much left! There was a very large group, kappa who had the use of the hotel sports facilities and unavailable for other guests to access during our stay. It's a real shame that the management don't consider the other none kappa guest.

Hotel looks quite tired and old in places, swim up bar isn't open, shame as this sounded great on the info we read ,jets don't work in the pool, no greeting at breakfast, felt like we were intruders to the French Kappa club is almost like it is a VIP club with French staff running around after them and their children, he kappa club staff are not to friendly if you aren't part of the club !!!
The sports and activities are great and the thai staffing it are amazing but you have to pay extra for all of this.
We booked a pool access room which was invaded most days by kids club so approx 12 noisy not very well behaved ( I think mainly from Kappa club) children in our pool outside our room.
Towels and pool towels are old and need replacing lots of marks on them !
Restaurants lack atmosphere and are expensive for Thailand !
Had a nice stay but description is not accurate and Kappa club spoils it !

Centara Grand Ao Nang Krabi was a far better experience !

We stayed for 7 nights and loved every moment. Great breakfasts, wonderful facilities. It is about 15 minutes or so away from Khao Lak Centre and initially, we thought that may be a negative but it was NOT at all. There is no need to go outside the resort, everything you could want is there. Service was great. We did note that some of the room looks a little tired, eg: could do with a repaint or touch up. We had a room with pool access and that was fantastic.

Stayed 4 nights. Clean property. Check in process was terrible. I think they want it to be an elegant process. Unfortunately, they make you sit, have a drink and wait in the lobby for over a half hour to get your key. This happened to others too. They kept telling me to sit down. I had been sitting in taxi for 2 hours - I didn't want to sit.

Besides the check in, stay was great. Room was clean and well appointed. Staff was pretty good. The only poor service was a couple times at the lobby bar. Beach was nice. Was able to get chairs at the beach without having to get there before 10:00am during holiday season. Plenty of restaurants and massage locations within walking distance on the beach.

Breakfast buffet was solid. Had dinner on property one night. I didn't understand why dinner buffet was 1200 baht per person. Ordered off the menu and it was much cheaper - about 400 baht per person at same restaurant. Didn't eat at any other on property. There were pretty much empty when we walked by. They had some good happy hours at various bars on property.

A couple things that we didn't like: No taxi pick up on site. You have to walk out front enterance. Also, no ATM in hotel. Have to walk to convenience store.

Overall, good stay. Hit the bowling alley a couple times with the kids and it was fun. Would stay there again.

Sadly I was unimpressed by the Sentido. The only lift access from ground floor to breakfast restaurant and lobby was via a very dirty lift situated in the car park!! Due to mobility problems I cannot climb stairs.
The breakfast was not 5*.
My bedroom/bathroom floor was not washed the 3 days of my stay.
I never worked out what the unusual smell was around the resort, maybe recycled water?

Very faar from town, not advisable

I had a bad experience at hotel, we checked in for two days booked from expedia with a payment guarantee by blocking the credit card, after completion of two days stay we extended a stay for one day over the counter by hotel. Evening i went out at the beach and my family was there at the hotel, suddenly the room access was blocked and for an hour the family was made to sit at the lobby asking for payment to be done in cash immediately before giving room access. It was most discourteous and keeping in mind that my yonger daughter 3 years aold was not well, was quoted that it is on the pretext of the general manager that the room block has been done, later I did the payment immediately and wanted to meet the General Manager but he did not meet, I even sent mails to the same but in vain. A guest can well imagine the hospitality of the hotel, the hotel situated in isolation can not be termed as a very family friendly hotel after the experience i had and the entire episode is self explanatory, i require medicine for my daughter which was not available nearby the hotel so wanted someone going to town to bring the same, then i requested for a cab who could just go with me and bring back the medicine and submitted that a single side charge of drop should be levied however there was more of a money making process in the same to ensure that both the side charges are paid, on agreeing to the same for 30 minutes hotel car was not available to take us to the pharmacy, bad experience.

Nice but far from Khao Lak

The real only disappointment with this property was its location. It's far from the city center and a taxi there is about 30 min and it is expensive to get there. The hotel offers a free shuttle but it's very inconvenient and offers very limited time.
The staff was great and the property is nice, except for the villas. Do not stay in those!! They look great in photos but you are surrounded by a disgusting green, gross, filthy \"lagoon.\"
The breakfast buffet was decent but the majority of the food appeared to be left overs from the night before. Except for the food made before you. The beach is nice and there are great restaurants on the beach and within 5 mins of walking out of the hotel. I recommend Pim's 5 min down the street and Saibai Saibai on the beach.

The hotel was gorgeous and peaceful. I had a great time just relaxing and playing in my private pool. The food was good, I thought the Thai restaurant was ok, nothing special though. The Italian restaurant was really good and a lot to choose from on the menu.

The Sentido has one of the nicest hotel lobby. We have never used a hotel lobby before, but as it rained a couple of days it was nice to sit by the lobby as there was a bar/cafe next to it and just \"chill\". The resort is great, very tropical and the staff are super friendly. We requested a room upgrade, and although there was a fee, it was marginal. I would recommend staying in a monken suite pool access, we had so much room (for a family of 3), and the beach was only moments away. We used the bowling one day and my 4yo loved it. Breakfast had so much variety. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the Sentido.

Very kids friendly resort

The staff were very helpful and cheerful, they love playing with kids, esp. the staff at the recreation centre. They were extremely patient with kids when we joined a free kids' tennis class. They also provided baby food at the breakfast buffet (though our kids are old enough to eat with us). We requested a late check-out on the last day and they immediately facilitated after a quick checking on capacities.

Very nice staff..treated us like royalty..villa is wonderful with private pool. Only complaint is humidity bue this is SE Asia in March. Loved the 11days we spent there. We had an amazing stay over Christmas. The Christmas Eve gala was a wonderful evening. My daughter was able to perform for the audience. The food was incredible. The resort is heavily marketed to French tourist there for they cater very well to French speaking guest. Most sigh a etc were bi lingual. The breakfast was amazing also. Thank you in particular to the hotel concierge Pascal who was lovely.
We only ate once in the actual hotel restaurant near the pool, found it overpriced but good food. We preferred to walk down to the beach and eat there at half the price amazing food. T our Favorite was Bangsak Kitchen, head down to the beach and turn left and walk about 200m past the hotel and you will find it. Amazing sunset and food. Will stay again.

Wonderful resort!

We had a pool access room for 3 nights which was perfect, lovely spacious room, huge bed with double ended bath & separate shower. The staff were so polite & helpful and the massages were amazing & very professional - we booked it again for the next day... The resort is worth the 4+ star rating!
We were locate in the furthest rooms from reception & wifi was appalling & was the only disappointment. We ate the first night at the hotel & the standard of food was typical bland hotel food, cooked for the masses which was a shame as the buffet style offered a big selection and plenty of it. We ate at the beach restaurants - was so tasty! I agree when my husband said it was the best hotel we have stayed in.

my family and I had a great time at sentido graceland. the restaurant on the beach do great value food our favourite was coconut. soft sandy beach. we had a pool access room with two queen size beds and a separate living room plus two large screen tv. breakfast was fantastic, great food choices. did order room service which was good and well price for a 5star resort. didn't use the hotel restaurant because other review say too expensive and not that great. had a massage on the beach, very cheap, but hotel spa was better but very expensive. my son made use of the basket ball and tennis court at a charge!! we thought it was free. overall we all had a great time

We ate in Platoo on the beach almost every day, great food, friendly service and reasonable price. Was expecting so much more

After seeing the reviews and the photos I was expecting an amazing resort but unfortunately it did not live up to the billing. The Lobby looked amazing but check-in staff forgot about us. First impressions of the venue were disappointing, the place had muddy swamp water everywhere. The resort is only 1.5 years old and looks about 15-20 years old. We had a Morken Suite with pool access which was very expensive, not value for money. It was obvious that the room has not been used for quite a while and was a little dirty. The bathroom was excellent but the rest of the room was not so great. Quite dark, the TV has almost no channels and there were two king sized beds rather than one large bed. The beds were too soft (felt old, you could feel the springs) and the pillows were terrible. The pool access was great through and we loved just being able to jump into the pool from the room (note that the bathtub outside is not at all private and therefore completely useless). The internal restaurants are ok, but this hotel is mostly catering for all-inclusive guests. On the positive side, the beach is spectacular and nice for a swim. Very clean and no-one else around. On the right of the beach, there are some excellent restaurants and massages places. Additionally, there is a mini-mart and activities centre on site. Lots of water provided and nice clean towels. Also service was lacking in places. Overall, it's an ok resort but for the price I paid, I felt very short-changed.

Fantastic experience

Stayed 3 nights for my birthday trip. Checked in late with surprise automatic upgraded to pool access room with spacious living room and kitchen. I love the bathtub in the balcony.

Environment is in green concept and I think the design is based on the long tail boat design. You may see very special roof in the buildings. They even have a big aquarium in the center of the main lobby.

Breakfast selection is not much but taste is good. I love their waffles. They have a coffee bar for fresh brew coffee as well.

One thing that I think the hotel should take note is about the mosquitoes repellent. The room has lots of mosquitoes and we can easily get bite. I get bite on my both leg and it's still itchy and swollen now. Very poisonous mosquitoes.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay as this hotel is far away from the crowd, we need a 2 hours drive from Phuket town. The beach is so clean and nice. Local restaurants along the beach beside the hotel are all great services and served good food.

Our stay was an absolute delight. We booked on Expedia with no expectation and were very surprised when we arrived.

The room was very spacious with a very comfortable king bed and swim out pool.

Tip: eat at the local restaraunts on the beach because they have amazing seafood for very reasonable prices.

Good hotel for families at the beach

We grew to like the hotel more with each passing day.

It is ideally located on the beach, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious and easy to access even with a toddler. The swimming pools could be a bit bigger but they were very conveniently located right close to the rooms.

The gym was decent as well.

We especially liked the row of good and relatively cheap independent restaurants at the beach (especially The Coconut Seafood).

Relaxing... Just what the doctor ordered

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Graceland. As other reviews mentioned, it is about a 15 minute drive north of Khao Lak, however it is nice and quiet. Although the resort is relatively large (I would guess close to 200 rooms), the facilities don't seem overly crowded, you might have to do a little (2 minutes) of walking to get to the lobby or to the beach, but we didn't mind this. The rooms were large and spacious, and the property was well maintained with multiple pools and beautiful green landscaping. The breakfast in the morning was great and had everything and more we could ask for. Room service and hotel restaurants were not overly expensive; however there were also nice little family owned restaurants right on the beach which we enjoyed and they were super reasonable. If you are looking for a place to escape the hustle of Thailand and simple want to relax and bask in the sun, Sentindo is the place for you!

Great hotel at pastoral location, wonderful stuff and well maintained hotel.
the hotel located at Khao Lak area which is peacfull, not crowded , romantic piece of heaven : )
I'm glad I listen to recommendations about Khao Lak and skipped Phuket.
The hotel itself is highly recommended.

There's not much negative to say about the hotel. It's new, rooms are very comfortable, clean. We had a room with pool access though no sun hit the pool throughout the day - I'm assuming you can ask for a room on the other side of the resort which would be more sunny. The rooms were a bit damp but that's the Thai climate so nothing the hotel can influence. The breakfast buffet was great, the beach is breathtaking, the pool look great. The place is secluded and far from the town but if you're looking to just stay at the resort, it's a beautiful place to relax and recharge.

Amazing hotel though far out of the way

This hotel is about 9 months old and was one of the most unique and lovely hotels we have been in. Friendly staff. Larger complex with some great layout and variety. Amazing morning meal included with everything you would want to eat! It is about 650 baht to get to Kaho Lak city. Plan on about 1.5 hours from Phukete airport and 1800 baht.

Wonderful hotel with minor issues. Room cleaning could be improved. Restaurant is not al a cart but buffet style with majority of guests all inclusive.The hotel is dominated by the French tour operator Kappa, so don't expect to meet many English people.

WOW!

For the price that we paid (about 55$) we expected a decent hotel, but we were blown away by this hotel! Got an upgrade to a pool access room, and the room the best room I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot...)!

The hotel staff are very kind and polite. The breakfast is great and there are shuttle buses twice a day to Koh Lak town or market.

The restaurant is a bit expensive (as you expect in hotels) but reasonable. The 24 hours room service has the same prices and we got the food quickly.

The beach is isolated and very beautiful, with couple of restaurants for dinner.

To sum it up - A BOMB!

Note that we stayed just before the season started so the prices might change and the hotel might be more crowdy (it was very quiet when we stayed).

Very nice indeed

Although in 'soft opening' our stay exceeded our expectations in every way.. The Pool View room was well appointed, clean and the bed comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food delicious. In particular the wide selection and excellent quality at breakfast was as good as we have ever had anywhere in Asia. The beach was wide, clean and safe, Also just 40 yards along the beach were some excellent beach bars/restaurants. Try the Coconut Seafood restaurant, we eat there every day. .

Globalement déçue par cet établissement qui selon moi ne mérite pas ses 5 étoiles.
C’est un bel hôtel mais vieillissant dans la globalité. La chambre est belle mais également vieillissante. Le personnel n’est ni accueillant ni professionnel, étonnant pour la Thaïlande et pour ce standing d’établissement. L’accès à la plage est un plus. Le petit déjeuner est varié.

Nous avons eu la surprise de loger dans une suite au lieu de la chambre réservée. Un endroit magnifique où règne la tranquillité. Des petits restaurants sont accessibles ,en plus de ceux de l'hôtel, à quelques mètres côté plage et côté rue. Le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse, le ménage est impeccable.

Flott hotell men det er dårlig med engelsk informasjon. Det går for det meste på fransk. Lite informasjon om hva som skjer rundt hotellet, sentrum eller matked ol.
Høflig personell men sjåføren kjørte sykt fort og koffert hjulpet på min store koffert ble ødelagt. Fikk inger beskjed om dette fant dette ut når jeg pakket

Afslappende ophold

Vi havde et dejligt og afslappet ophold. Men der var en meget høj og irriterende hyletone, der gik op og ned i frekvens udenfor. Den var der fra morgen til aften… Vi gjorde opmærksom på den, men de fik den ikke fjernet. Resort’et trænger til lidt kærlig pleje, det er mere slidt end hvad billederne viser. Enkelte personaler havde også mistet lysten til at servicere gæster og var direkte ubehagelige. Kan anbefale værelserne med pool access og lækkert at hotellet ligger helt ned til stranden.

Loacted at a stunningly beautiful beach where you can walk for miles. My room was spacious and had a big balcony. The hotel has a really nice pool area as well and at the beach very close by there are a couple of nice restaurants. I also liked the glass (no plastic!) water bottles provided in the room.
