Room and the all hotel is so old. And not maintained well.
From room door to windows are not functioning as they should be. No nets at the windows so the insects are welcomed to the rooms.
Staff is very friendly but the resort needs for a renewal.
We won’t go back again.

This was a very rural and quiet place. I had no idea where we were going. The view was breath taking. The staff were great and the customer service was great. There is one restaurant and everything closed at 9:00pm. They had a pool but the location of the resort is steps from the beach. If you want rest and relaxation, this is the place for you. Definitely not walkable. Getting here was a challenge but my husband and I loved it.

Perfect low key island to escape the crowds

Great little resort nestled away down a dirt track on this quiet island. Perfect to escape the crowds and make time to explore the rest of the island to experience how most of Thailand was 25 years ago. Dinner on the beach every night was great. Staff very friendly and kept the place clean and tidy. Bungalows getting a bit tired in places but added to the charm. Ours had fantastic sea views towards Phi Phi. The whole place had a very natural feel with a few friendly monkeys keeping you company.
I would recommend cocktails at sunset a short walk up the beach at Onlee Bungalows.
Not a great snorkelling beach but we kayaked down the island where it was a bit better but don’t compare with the other islands.
Hiked up Mount Pu with Ann the local mountain guide. Easy enough to do by yourself if you know the start point and can find your way through the rubber plantations but nice to support the islanders and they provided water, lunch and coffee at the top!
You meet lots of travellers who come back to Ko Jum regularly where you can still get away from the hoardes of people on the more popular islands.
A short picturesque long tail boat ride from Laem Kraut pier on the mainland and about 30 - 40 mins from Krabi airport so very easy to get to.
Hopefully the big 5 star resorts who are looking to develop on the island never do.

This is not the place for people who are accustomed to first class hotels or who like to take cruises where most everything is provided. In particular, it is not for people who are accustomed to complaining when things are imperfect (ants, a mediocre breakfast, etc.). Thai natives do not tolerate confrontation; they are the sweetest, most loving people in the world, and will worry endlessly about one's welfare. But one needs to keep in mind that this and the other resorts on this secluded strip of beach were left without any income during the previous 2 and 1/2 years of Covid. They are now scratching out a living, and doing it with grace and charm, but it's also still a work in progress. My wife and I loved this island, but along with the recent ravages of the pandemic, it is a place that only received widespread electric about 7 years ago. Don't come here if you're seeking Miami or another resort city. Do come if you are still seeking adventure.

A serene, quiet, peaceful slice of paradise off the beaten path! The perfect place to escape crowds, the beach is gorgeous and most of the time we had it all to ourselves! The only noise was the cicadas and the occasional monkey dropping onto our roof 😀! We loved it here, it was heaven!

Arrived and not as advertised. Very remote, very run down - rubbish everywhere, discarded freezers and generally rundown and dirty. Only place to eat is at the hotel restaurant. Food ok, breakfast not good. Bed was like a piece of wood and bedding and towels had stains on. No hot water. We left after one night and got a water taxi to Ao Nang.

Beautiful stay in such a remote paradise!

Our stay was amazing.
It was such a remote beautiful island which meant we had such a relaxed stay! We had the company of the local monkeys all feeding and teasing each other which was incredible to watch from our balcony/and the beach. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, we were always welcomed with a smile.
The only downside is the cockerel tied to the stand which wakes up customers- however, I completely understand that is just a difference in culture and what would be deemed as ‘cruel’ to westerns is completely different to the Thai so I wouldn’t make it an official complaint at all its just something that made me a little uncomfortable. The only other thing was the air con wasn’t that effective, mainly just blowing the warm air around but again I think due to the remoteness of the island and how special it is, this really wasn’t a huge issue as it’s understandable for such a remote paradise. All in all a beautiful stay and we can’t thank you all enough! X

Tropical Paradise

My girlfriend and I stayed there for 6 nights. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the resort as well as the natural beauty of the resort itself. The road needs a bit of work. lol. Is to be expected on a small island. A scooter was available to rent which worked well, and the brakes worked which was a bonus. There are washing machines along the road like little gas stations. The food was fresh and tasted good. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed.

There is an abundance of wildlife on the island. I was outside the Teak Room having a smoke when we both heard a crash from inside he room, only to see the three monkeys that were trashing our room, taking off out the side door we left open.

Lots of iguanas too. Some big. Some small. And cats...all friendly people-person cats.

Loved how quiet the resort is, reminded me of phi phi before the tsunami and the mass tourism. For an island the prices are very reasonable and a great range of food available , the massages are fabulous. The staff are quiet and reserved but very helpful and efficient. Excursions are available but we didn’t partake. Loved our treehouse room and the air conditioning was a bonus

To get to the resort, you have to ride on a small dirt road. There are a few other resorts located on the same beach, a bar and two abandoned bars/restaurants. The beach itself is ok, but the water was not very clear and the sea floor is full of rocks (not very pleasant).

The staff of the resort was friendly and kind.

The room was not good. First of all, there were holes in the wall in the bathroom. We tried to patch it up with toilet paper to prevent the mosquitoes from getting in. The bed was too stiff. There was blood on the mosquito-net. Also, we were waken up in the morning by cars. There is a construction site just beside the resort.

The was ok, although a bit boring. The breakfast was also ok, but everything is riddled with flies.

All in all, we decided to check out a day early even though our three nights were pre-paid. I would recommend you go to Koh Lanta instead.

Low tourist season so not crowded like Phi Phi island. With so little guests, service could have been better..
Very rocky beach so not really suitable for swimming. Amazing sunset though. Resort is good for quiet time, lazing around and relax.

Lots of repairs are needed to the resort/huts/walkways and stairs lots of tripping hazards. The beds were bit too hard for our liking, our chair on our private deck uncomfortable and broken. Staff was helpful

Perfect little hideaway

The staff are excellent, the food is amazing and the views are breathtaking.
If you want a romantic getaway or a place to take the family that isn't commercial and you can let the kids run along the beach, swim and paddle while you get a massage overlooking the ocean.
Prices are the best I've seen in any hotel in Thailand.

Beautiful, relaxing, away from it all

Loved Koh Jum Resort! The setting was hard to beat. Koh Jum is right on the beach on a quiet part of the island. The staff was helpful and very kind. The beds were a bit hard, and the resort has a simplicity to it, but had all we needed, there is a nice selection of restaurants on the beach so definitely go wandering. Our favorite was the Last Fisher. we did nothing for 3 days, a perfect way to start our Thailand adventure.

Splurge on a teak villa as the bathrooms are more western. The resort is lovely and the staff are very accommodating. Spend at least three days on the island and really slow down. We loved Ko Jum and can't wait to return.

Stayed for one night and thank you Lord we did only for a night. There was no air conditioner so it was extremely hot thankfully they left some fans for us so that was great. The swing was nice and the sunset. It is pretty cool there though. It was low season when we went there so it wasn't alive at all. It was nice and clean staff was okay, the territory was decent as well.

We had a fantastic time at the Koh Jum resort. The view from our beach front villa was amazing...

The staff were really friendly and the food served was excellent.

The unsealed road from the main road to the resort was a bit of a challenge for us on our little scooter but well worth the effort....

Would definitely recommend this resort for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Off the tourist trail

It is off the tourist trail and something you would really like. You have to fly to Krabe, and then take a taxi ($16) or a baht bus ($3.00) to a pier about 40 kilometers from the airport. Then take a long tail boat through an archipelago and end up at a boat ramp on Koh Jum … call the resort and they pick you up and go down 4 kilometers of dirt road suitable for 4 wheel drive only. Then you are there. The bamboo bungalows are only $35 a night which is a bonus because they have all the amenities of a 4-star except no TV or a good WiFi which is actually quite nice. It’s like Nature’s Valium and one just feels totally relaxed there. The only sounds are the sea and wind. Renting a motorbike is a risky proposition because of the roads but worth it to get around and see the island. I went snorkeling for the first time in my life and it was amazing. It was good.

Get away from it all

Book a teakwood villa, they're huge and much better than the beachfront ones.

Hotel staff are great, contact them to arrange getting to and from the island. Don't use the krabi to lanta ferry, go via laem kraut on the local ferry. Much cheaper and a nice trip through the archepelago.

Day trip arranged via the hotel on a long tail to phi phi and a few other islands for 1000baht. Probably one of the better ways of seeing it rather than the mass tourism speedboats from phuket and krabi.

Come here to completely relax and get away from it all.

A little piece of paradise

Although it's a little bit of a mission to get to the island, once you arrive, you'll be glad you took the trouble! Gorgeous setting, laid back atmosphere, expect total relaxation. There's a little restaurant which was good and not overpriced, a bar, swimming pool (which we didn't use as the ocean was so lovely to swim in), kayak, snorkeling gear, massages on the beach. Fantastic. If you're going for a party or for shopping, think again, this place is for switching off from the world and chilling out.

This place is truly magical - but do not go if you don't like bugs... I didn't sleep a wink in fear of spiders etc.. Wifi is terrible, but what do you expect in the jungle. Staff lovely & lively .. Beach wonderful. That's all that's here!! Beach hut nice - but tv didn't work, and shower was cold no hot water.

Nice jungle resort with quiet beach. A bit isolated location but hotelstaff helped us to get to the village (15 min in a car/ 100Baht/person) one evening.
Seafood was good and really fresh. If you are looking for relaxing and quiet place, this is it!
Prices are higher than in other places, but worth it (still cheap comparing to European prices).

We originally booked the ocean view villa, but when we finally arrived on the island we were informed that they have double booked and didn't have any villa available. Instead for a villa we got the bamboo bungalow which is the cheapest option and complimentary food & drinks during our 1 night stay at the resort. The service was good, but we were not offered any other compensation than the food&drinks (still paid the villa price).

Koh Jum Resort is a beautiful peaceful little peace of paradise ,, peace being the correct word if you want late bars street markets parties etc don't bother . but if you want to relax on the sandy beach , swim , fish , dive or snorkel this place is great , attentive staff will do everything they can to make your stay an enjoyable one , if you want to try the hustle and bustle of thailand you can jump on a long tail boat be taken out to sea where the ferry boat will stop pick you up and carry you to one of the larger islands where theres more action we did this and stayed at Koh Lanta for a few days before returning to lovely Koh Jum to recharge our batteries before home. I will definitely be going back to Koh :)

The Manager Alex, was outstanding in everyway !!! The (Teak Villa) was great, very clean and great hot water. The safe, the mini fridge, the towels, the supplies, the lights, it was all perfect, the food service was kind of weak but really trying to get better!!! All in all it was a great stay, We will miss the manager the staff and the place very much.

Hyggelige hytter med fantastisk udsigt. God og stille AC, dejlige senge og meget serviceminded personale. Morgenmaden var god med lidt af det hele. Der er 1-1,5 km til en kiosk eller andre restauranter, men der ligger 3 restauranter på stranden med resortet som er fine. Poolen er ikke noget særligt.

Fantastisk lille resort på den mest autentiske ø.
Flotte værelser med dejlig stemning.
Aber i træerne og havudsigt.
Lidt sten i vandet men stranden perfekt til badning indtil kl 14. hvor vandet trækker ud.
Personalet meget søde og behjælpelige.
Maden god og bbq på stranden om aftenen.

Perfekt sted at slappe af.
Lej eventuelt scootere på resort og udforsk den lokale ø hvor alt er ægte og hyggeligt

Selve hotellet var okay. Hvis man er til kun, at være på hotellet og ikke andet er det framragende. Desværre lukkede restaurant/bar allerede ved kl. 21.30, så ikke den hygge om aftenen med lidt drinks. Det samme med nytårs aften. Stranden er dejlig. Tæt på naturen.

2 nätter då vi älskade stället förra året. I år hade vi dock regnoväder vilket gjorde stället ganska tråkigt. Den fina stranden nedanför hotellet är den finaste på ön, men inte lika fin när regnet vräker ner. Vägen ut till hotellet är smal och lerig vilket också gjorde det omständigt vid oväder. Rekommenderar stället om man kan tänka sig bo nära djungeln och djurlivet, lite off och vid fint väder. Rekommenderar att äta på restaurangerna vid main road och inte vid stranden. Det går att gå dit, men det blir mörkt, eller hyra moped men mycket lurigt att köra längst med havet,

Hytter med den fedeste udsigt udover vandet og på en næsten privat strand på en bjergside. Eneste virkelige minus var vejen dertil der er ved at falde sammen og en meget mudret oplevelse.
Et perfekt sted at komme ned i gear og slappe helt af.
De lokale på Koh Jim er SÅ søde og venlige.
Som at spole tiden 20år tilbage.

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig, wer allerdings Anspruch auf Reinheit und Hygiene legt sollte hier vorab wissen das es sehr spartanisch ausgerichtet ist. Bett war bequem, ohne Klimanlage ist es leider nicht auszuhalten u das Gerät ist leider sehr laut. Handtüchern haben muffig gerochen. Ausblick und Ruhe machen einiges wieder gut. Sie ist einmalig. Leider alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt (Liegen am Strand)

Virkelig sødt personale og flotte omgivelser.
Vi endte dog med et værelse hvor den mindste bevægelse i sengen fik det til at lyde som om den var ved at brase sammen. Og det gjorde ikke noget godt når man er afsted med 2 små børn. Og så var sengen utrolig hård.
Stranden var fin. Hotellet er omgivet af aber så husk og luk døre og vinduer og ikke efterlad ting udenfor. Men det er hyggelig at stå op og se dem klatre rundt udenfor hytterne.

A bit worn down. The employees don’t speak English so don’t expect any support or guidance to get to the hotel or move around the island. It’s also far from “the main area” which we realised is further south on the island (40mins by foot from the hotel). Would recommend choosing another hotel if you want to have a bigger choice of restaurants and a little shop nearby.

The breakfast was a bit boring but their restaurant had good food and it was nice to eat on the beach in the evening. The employees in the restaurant were nice.

Vi havde et skønt ophold på Koh Jum Resort.

De forskellige bungalows ligger dog på en stejl skråning med mange trapper, hvorfor det ikke er egnet til gangbesværede.

Resortet ligger superlækker på en ca. 1 km hvid sandstrand, med udsigt til Phi Phi øerne. Man kan kun gå denne ene kilometer, da begge ender er blokeret af svært forcerbare klipper..
Vil man videre, skal man op på en noget højereliggende bjergvej, der løber langs junglen.

Der er en lille swimmingpool på stedet, og en hyggelig restaurant på stranden. Man kan få god massage på stranden, leje kajakker og Chef Ko arrangerer gerne ture til f.eks Phi Phi øerne. Så bliver man hentet i longboat direkte på stranden.

Det er et perfekt sted til afslapning, da det eneste man kan er spise, drikke, tage fotos, svømme, sole sig og læse bøger.. hvis man kun opholder sig på resortet. Der er ikke meget at se, hvis man snorkler her..

Mycket trevlig resort som har allt man behöver. Trevlig personal med fantastisk service, framförallt ägaren. Vi kommer tillbaka! Tills dess hoppas vi att de införskaffat några fler solstolar till stranden och håller den skarpa vita belysningen på stranden släckt på kvällstid för ökad mysfaktorn.
Riktigt god mat! Bästa chicken cashew vi ätit.

Paradis utanför dörren. Lugnt och skönt, stranden nedanför hotellet är troligtvis den finaste stranden på hela ön. Frukost medelmåttigt och vi åt bara middag första kvällen. Resten av vistelsen letade vi oss andra ”bättre” ställen. Svår väg att promenera på med barnvagn även om det går. Vi promenerade till restaurangerna längst större vägen 2 luncher, men ville inte gå där när det var mörkt. Hyrde moped en dag och åkte runt på ön, fanns inte mycket att utforska. Bästa restaurangen Halal food, tog ca 30 min att promenera.

The liveliest and most memorable impression we bring with us from our two weeks at Koh Jum Resort is probably that of the genuine friendliness and generosity of the staff. There would always be a considerate, helpful attitude to whatever request we might have, and we sensed a sincere wish to make our stay there as agreeable as possible. Although today somewhat worn down, we believe that the resort, with its traces of a stately past, has a promising potential when it comes to location and construction. And it was obvious to us how the manager carries a strong ambition to restore the place to its former distinguished style. A very special moment was the surprise they had prepared for us on our last night: Upon entering the beach area where we had already enjoyed many meals (often the tasty mixed seafood grill), they amiably led us to an elevated, canopy covered pavilion accommodating a set dining table with a white tablecloth, candlelights and flower decorations. Once seated, we were served a tasty menu on the house with everything included. It was like a performance, and a super nice, perfect finale before returning home. Thank you! Ole, Petra and Else

Leider hat es während unseres Aufenthaltes nur geregnet es kam zu Stromausfall und die Straße wurde weggespült. Das Dach war undicht und es gab in unserem Bungalow Schimmel an der Decke.
Sehr lobend zu erwähnen ist die Küche und das ganze Personal . Man hat sich gut um uns gekümmert und für unsere \"Evakuierung \" mit einem Boot gesorgt .Im Hochsommer sicherlich ein Inseltraum ....

最高のバカンスを過ごせました。
海岸の斜面に沿って建てられたコテージ郡は
もともとほぼ手付かずのジュム島の自然、
潮風、ゆったりした空気を満喫するには最適。
スタッフも全員が笑顔。
いい距離感で親切にこちらを気づかってくれる。
マッサージ師のおばちゃん
Nui（ヌイ）さんのマッサージも秀逸で
日焼けしてヒリヒリする肌にアロエを塗ってくれたり
親戚のおばちゃんみたいな感じ。
また日本語を話せるおばちゃんスタッフ
パーさん（だったと思う）もいて
とても安心できました。
ただひとつ、自然が豊かなだけに虫は多い。
夜の部屋で快適に過ごすためには、
シュッとワンプッシュの殺虫スプレーが必要です。
ボクはバンコクのコンビニで買っていきました。
ボクにとってこの宿は、
年に一度は訪れたい最高の場所となりました。

Sehr schöne Anlage abseits vom Trubel. Genau deswegen haben wir dieses Hotel auch gebucht. Lage perfekt direkt am Strand. Dazu gehört es natürlich, das man auch 15-20 Minuten zum nächsten Restaurant bzw. Dorf laufen muss. Das gehört dann eben dazu. :) Al a carte im Hotel sehr gut, sowie angemessene Preise. Personal stets aufmerksam und sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Was nicht so toll war, das sehe harte Bett. In der Villa/ Bungalow hätten mehr Ablageflächen sein können. Eine Koffererhöhung bzw. Ablage wäre auch schön gewesen.
Fazit: Was für eine tolle, noch naturbelassene thailändische Insel. Mit dem Roller kann man diese vom Hotel aus selbstständig erkunden. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen. :)

Ein wundervoller Ort zum Entspannen. Wie hatten ein 4-Monatealtes Baby dabei. Die Bedienungen haben sich jeden Morgen zum Frühstück um sie gekümmert, damit wir in Ruhe frühstücken konnten. Leider hat unser Bett bei kleinsten Bewegungen so laute Geräusche gemacht, dass die Kleine ständig davon wach geworden ist, weshalb wir die letzten Nächte mit der Matratze auf dem Boden geschlafen haben.

Fint familieværelse - som bestod af to dobbeltværelser med connecting rooms. Dejlig terasse med udsigt over vandet og Koh Phi Phi, hvor solen gik ned over. Utrolig smukt. Der var hvad der skulle være til morgenmaden uden at det var prangende. Hotellet ligger en del væk fra byen og man kan ikke lige gå dertil. Som familie kræver det taxa ind til byen, alternativ lej scooter. Vi var på en bådtur til Koh Phi Phi og snorkle, det var fantastisk. Vi besøgte Mr Boys cafe i byen - den er et besøg værd. God service og sjov oplevelse.

Wir haben fünf Tage im Koh Jum Resort verbracht und hatten eine Teakwood Villa. Da wir aus Koh Lanta kamen nahmen wir die Fähre und wurden wie vorher per E-Mail besprochen mit dem Longtailboat an der Fähre abgeholt und zum Hotel gebracht. Dort wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt.

Zimmer:
Der erste Eindruck von unserem Zimmer war recht gut, jedoch stellte sich schnell heraus, dass bei genauerem hinsehen das Zimmer leider nicht ordentlich sauber gemacht wurde. Zum Beispiel waren auf dem Moskitonetz, welches über dem Bett angebracht war, tote Tiere und der Wasserhahn war sehr dreckig. Weiterhin waren an der Badewanne, kleine schwarze Tiere, die anschneidend aus der Decke kamen. Leider waren auch auf den Vorhängen und der Bettwäsche Flecken.
Auch unsere Türen und Fenster, sowie die Moskitonetze die davor angebracht waren haben nicht ordentlich geschlossen, was dafür sorgt, dass ständig Tiere in den Bungalow kommen können.

Generell scheint die Reinigung eher oberflächlich stattzufinden. Als wir einmal ein Handtuch auf den Boden abgelegt hatten, da es schmutzig war, wurde dieses zwar mitgenommen, ein neues bekamen wir aber erst zwei Tage später.

Restaurant:
Das Frühstück war uns für fünf Tage leider etwas zu eintönig. Es gab zwar jeden Tag wechselnde Thai Gerichte, ansonsten blieb das Essen allerdings gleich und die Auswahl ist, für Leute die nicht unbedingt die Thai Gerichte frühstücken wollen, eher klein.
Das Restaurant, welches direkt am Strand ist bietet leckeres Esse

Trotz Mailbestätigung zwei Tage zuvor kein Pickupservice. Nach Telefonat und 1 Stunde warten kam der Abholdienst. Nicht weiter schlimm. Blöde war nur, dass beim Checkin dazu kein Wort verloren wurde/ keine Entschuldigung kam, obwohl der Mailschreiber (mit dem ich übrigens auch im Vorfelde immer wieder kommuniziert hatte) und die Person an der Rezeption identisch waren.
Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (103 Euro pro Nacht) stimmt nicht. Für das Gebotene (was zugegebenermaßen sehr schön war), deutlich zu teuer.

Saknar Thailändsk vänlighet

Vi hade en trevlig vistelse även om hotellet har sina svagheter.
Det är ett mysigt område som klättrar uppför en bergssida. Många trappor med andra ord.
Stranden är verkligen fin och med kulörta lyktor på kvällarna är mysfaktorn hög. Maten är bra och massage tjejerna samt trädgårdsskötarna skall ha beröm. Däremot är inte serveringspersonalen särskilt service inriktade. Den vanliga thailändska vänligheten och viljan att hjälpa till saknas.
Till vår förvåning fick vi till exempel inte beställa i baren klockan 21.45 trots att baren var öppen till 22.00 och 4 av servitörerna satt och hängde över sina telefoner.
Bungalowerna är basic och lite dåligt med utrymme. Poolen behöver en renovering.
Är det eldshow på kvällen så gå och ät på resorten bredvid om ni inte vill bli indränkta i dieselrök och döva av den fruktansvärda och höga musiken.

The resort was very beautiful where we had a wonderfull house with nice seaview. Facilities, staff and food were excellent and we would like to come back again.
The BBQ on the beach was an excellent arrangement with candle light etc. but the tables should have been kept more seperated as we got a table in between to groups... would have preferred a more private arrangement. The next days we sat in the bar in next level where we had a nice view and calm surroundings.

Vi bodde här i 8 nätter. Resorten och ön är perfekt när man bara vill ha lugn och ro. Så härligt! Maten var bra men ibland fick vi vänta lite väl länge på den. Frukosten var bra. Sängen var för hård, skulle behövt en extra bäddmadrass. Duschtvålen var super, har aldrig varit så len i huden. Tyvärr dålig wifi, frustrerande när man tänkte beställa lite julklappar. Kommer vi tillbaka? Ja troligen, för lugnet och stillheten.

Das Resort liegt nett, aber es fehlt ein Angebot für Aktivitäten auf und um die Insel. Die frischen Fische liegen ca. 3 Tage am Abend auf Eis. Das Licht in den Bungalows könnte deutlich heller sein. Das ist wohl ein Problem in ganz Thailand, weil Strom wohl teuer ist.
