Great experience all around. Beautiful pools , plants and great restaurants. Beach was great with plenty of things to do. Great entertainment every night along with pool parties and DJ during the day. Minimal kids staying while we were here . If your thinking of staying at secrets next door it is very big and open and for a much older crowd. People 65 plus sleeping and snoring by the pool without the music and pool fun atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone 18 to 55 years old who like to have fun and interact with others.

Have been to this property many times over the years and have always enjoyed it. This time the experience was lacking a little bit. They told us on arrival that they were full and that was very obvious (we never received our welcome drink). There was constant empty glasses and litter lying around, they ran out of towels and service was just lacking. It was very disappointing as this is a resort we really love and now might not come back.

The staff was very accommodating with everything, and always with a smile. The pool activities were always fun and entertaining. The food was great although we are always very happy with the buffets. There is such a selection to choose from. Our concierge Emmanuel Morillo checked on us every day to make sure we were happy as he did last year when we stayed. The beaches were kept clean and, you could take long walks and feel safe. We will definitely be back!

The resort is amazing. Food was very good, not great but you will not go hungry. Everything was great EXCEPT for a very high pressure sales pitch to get you to spend 14k on a Hyatt Travelers Club Membership. They offer coupons and a free message and \"take you to breakfast\". After breakfast they \"show you around the rsort\". After being passed off from 1 salesman to the next and multiple package offers later, we were aloud to escape. Without that it wouldve neen 5 stars for sure. Just beware of \"free gifts\" when you arrive. But awesome trip.... would absolutely go back.

Everything is maintained and kept clean, even twice a day. Staff is nice and welcoming , u feel like u are at home. Ground and beach is beautiful.
Food in a la carte restaurants is very good . Specially Asian and French. Only thing i would change as many guests are talking about is morning buffet in World Cafe . Its blend and pretty much same food every day, with decent quality and choices

This is our second time staying at a Dreams resort and while we had a great time, I think the experience at the resort could have been better.
Pros:
Bar staff were friendly, the activities (like aqua fit) were fun and entertaining, the beach area is well maintained and easy to access. The layout of the resort is nice and you can find a pool very close to the rooms. Breakfast had good variety. The lazy river is nice and relaxing.
Cons:
The staff is friendly but some of them act very irritated when you ask them questions (this happened multiple times at different times of the day). Some of them didn’t realize I spoke Spanish and would make snide remarks at my husband and our friends not realizing I could understand them. The food was subpar - everywhere we ate for dinner. Neither the iron nor the blow dryer worked in our room - which was never addressed by the front desk when brought up to their attention. They currently have construction going on so the night club shared by Dreams and Secrets isn’t opened. Tons and tons of vendors approached us multiple times at the beach so it was hard to relax sometimes.

I would say overall- it was a good experience but I’ve had a better experience in Cancun. I hope to comeback to DR to a different resort and hope we can enjoy it more.

This resort truly exceeded our expectations. Candidly, we were a bit hesitant about trying an all‑inclusive for the first time, especially after hearing mixed reviews from others. But after this experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend this resort to all of our family and friends.

Not only was the property absolutely gorgeous, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely comfortable and right at home. Everyone we interacted with was kind, patient, and attentive. The grounds were beautifully maintained—perfectly manicured and clean. I was blown away by how luxurious the beach, pools, and rooms felt.

The food and drinks were also great. Every restaurant we tried exceeded our expectations. We had no issues at all with the food, and there were plenty of options each night throughout our six‑night stay.

We didn’t leave the resort once, and honestly, we felt like we could have stayed even longer. There was so much to enjoy that we were perfectly content and relaxed the entire time. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this resort.

Every part of the resort is really beautiful and it’s so fun! I love the layout and all the different pools. All the staff have been so friendly and kind. The rooms are clean and have everything you need! There are multiple restaurants to choose from and the food is pretty good! It’s right next to Secrets and you can walk over and explore that areas as well!

My room was next to the outdoor stage where they held the daily shows from 7/8pm until 11pm. It was frustrating that I could not relax in my room during that time as music, live performances, karaoke were blasting. The food was mediocre, buffet food was not warm or varied and the restaurants had such long waits it was inconvenient. If you wanted to relax in quiet there was no area by the pool or at the beach that didnt have the activation team or music playing. Depends what you are looking for in your trip. The staff was very kind and friendly, no issue there.

Not good if you’re looking for a real vacation to relax , it was too many rules and there was always complaints about certain rooms even if you’re not in it for noise complaint. The staff was friendly but the resort is not ran properly and takes the fun and enjoyment out of a lot of opportunities at the resort.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

We had a fabulous week at Dreams RBPC. The staff was friendly and responsive. Our Concierge, Michael, was wonderful. He was quick to help us, but not invasive. He was able to fulfill every request we had including dinner reservations, mini bar requests,a shopping trip to Chez Nicole (highly recommend), and extra hangers. He checked on us every morning via What’s App and then in person he found us daily at the beach. We will request him when we return.

Miguelito was a joy to see every day on the Preferred beach. He’s very attentive and available, but not invasive. I felt that serving fruit on sticks in the morning at the beach and popsicles at the Preferred pool was a nice touch.

The room was spotless every day. We LOVED our Preferred Swim Out room in the new section. The shower had nice full-sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The water pressure is great. The pools were small, but plentiful and beautiful.

We liked the quiet Preferred side for resting and sleeping. We had no problem finding beach and pool chairs ever. The drinks were great (both with or without alcohol) and they do not skimp on alcohol. The soda from the bars is almost always flat, so I went tropical mixed drinks instead. Good decision.

The smoke only bothered us once and that was on the beach, so we moved and it was fine. The vendors are not pushy on the beach. A simple “no gracias” will do.

The food was just ok. But we always found something. Service is slow at restaurants. We will return!

Overall, we had a good stay at Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana, but I’m rating it 4 stars based on comparisons to other all-inclusive resorts I’ve visited, particularly in Mexico.

The service here was friendly, but noticeably slower and less attentive than what I’ve experienced at comparable resorts in Mexico. Staff were kind and welcoming, just not as consistently proactive or polished.

The food quality was good, but not excellent. We enjoyed our meals, though nothing stood out as exceptional compared to other all-inclusive dining experiences.

We did upgrade our room, and while the room itself was very nice once we got in, there was a 2 hour and 40 minute delay before we were able to access it, which was frustrating. That said, once settled, the upgraded room was comfortable and enjoyable.

If you’re looking for a relaxing all-inclusive experience with excursions, great service, and top-tier food, I would personally choose Mexico over Punta Cana based on my experiences. That said, this resort is still a solid option and we did enjoy our stay overall.

I had a swim out room, it had a jacuzzi and a cabana we LOVED it. The room was spotless and housekeeping was great, room service was very prompt my concierge Emmanuel was perfect. The shuttles were great when it did rain and the staff in general were kind, fun and always smiling. We will definitely be coming back. I went to Dreams back in 2020 so coming this second time was great and I loved all the renovations that were done!!! 100/10

The hotel is beautiful with a great swimming pool and landscaping! But the breakfast/lunch buffet is horrible.
Nothing fresh everything looks sad even the basic like coffee/ fruits/salad. Dinner is good and staff at dinner restaurants are good but the only one cafe and buffet restaurant are sad and staffs at those places are not friendly and not present. Kids club staffs are lovely

Really good place, swimmout room was an excellent choice with child. Large property offering water park, ocean front end endless pools. Late check out for 20 per hour give us an extra day before departure. 30 min from the airport. Was little suprised that staff didn't enforced no smoking by the pools rules..... Highly recomended.

The whole experience was excellent. The staff was the best ever, including my personal butler Martín. They were always paying attention to the details. The room was clean and very comfortable. Most of the food was really good but some of the interpretations was not always accurate to what you may be used to. Beach vendors are also a problem if you are looking to be left alone and will swarm you as you walk out past your resort beach chair area.

The room is so nice and clean everyday they come to clean. The AC in the room worked amazing. The pools are nice with swim up bars I loved that. The staff was super friendly and helpful to me always!! The food was great and tasty I loved the different options. My favorite thing was walking over to explore the adults only side of the resort and they have a nightclub there which was fun.

I stayed at Dreams Royal Beach in Punta Cana with my daughter from September 1–4, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Our concierge, Emanuel, was outstanding—attentive, proactive, and always a step ahead of our needs. He checked in on us regularly, offered great recommendations, and made sure every detail was seamless.

Beyond Emanuel, every staff member we encountered played an important role in making our stay memorable. Housekeeping kept everything impeccable, the restaurant and beach teams were attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere made us feel completely welcomed and cared for.

We left feeling grateful and impressed. I highly recommend Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana to anyone looking for top-tier hospitality, and we will definitely be back. Thank you, Emanuel, and thank you to the entire team for an amazing experience!

It was beautiful, only complaint is a lot of walking is you are on the preferred side. Our room with the private pool was amazing. They came with food and drinks to our pool. We never got in the main pools, there was no need. Def highly recommend. Also get the Italian food the first night, we got it our last night and it was hands down the best dinner apart from the romantic dinner on the beach we had there.

The service here is one of the best I've experienced. The workers are extremely kind and helpful. The resort itself is just ok, but the season in which I went also affected my experience (late August so the beach was too covered in seaweed to swim in). I booked the preferred members section so I had access to a few more pools but without it I really don't think there was enough variety for non-preferred members. I will say the pools are VERY clean and the swim-up bars are great. The room itself was stunning and extremely clean upon checking in. Snacks and drinks were restocked daily. Now the part that disappointed me the most was the food. Absolutely atrocious. The main buffet was mediocre at best, and the Italian restaurant (Portofino) was honestly inedible. I had high hopes for the seafood restaurant (Oceana) and hibachi but even those were just ok. I had a good time but I think I would choose a different resort next time.
