We booked the priority member Junior suite with the private pool and everything was perfect! The room was very clean with a beautiful/clean private pool and had a breathtaking view of the garden and two of the pools on the grounds. Our butler, Irving, was so amazing!! He was very attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. He sent us daily itineraries for the resort activities and always made sure that we had everything we needed. He even helped organize a surprise for my boyfriend whose birthday was the day after our arrival which was so appreciated!! I also want to mention that the staff at the private priority member pool on the beach was amazing! They were so attentive and made sure that I never spent a moment without a drink in my hand lol. Sammy at the inside bar was our absolute favorite! You will not regret staying at this resort. We had an amazing vacation and will definitely be back very soon!

We had such an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Our bell attendant, Ramon, was incredibly sweet and always available if we had any questions. At the front desk, Gia and Ricardo were wonderful — they explained everything clearly and with such care and kindness.

The restaurant staff were just as impressive. Sonia was especially sweet and went above and beyond by remembering me, my family, and even our names — that personal touch meant so much to us. Cindy was also so kind and welcoming. Every staff member we encountered was warm and attentive.

The rooms were very clean, and the food was consistently an 8/10 throughout our stay. Overall, I truly loved all the staff and appreciated the exceptional hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

Staff were very sweet but everything was very disorganized. My luggage was lost on arrival to the resort and after an hour of people standing around, someone finally found it after it had been accidently taken to a different room because random tags were placed on suitcases....Shuttle service too/from the airport was very splotchy and no one had a list of people coming and going so you knew how many people were going to be dropped off beforehand so you can plan a time to get to airport for departure. Otherwise yes everyone was very sweet and food was good

The time we got there the check in process was not smooth. It took 2 hours to get the room and get our luggage. There was a staff member there Orlando who was nothing but unprofessional from the time we got there to the time we checked out . They added on additional charges that was never agreed to. There was never a manger on site to rectify the problem . We always got the run around when asked to speak to someone higher up about the matter. I was very unsatisfied with my stay here and would not recommend this to family or friends.

The resort is beautiful, very, very, clean and the staff are extremely accommodating. Great restaurants. I do not recommend spending the extra $’s for the “partial” ocean view room. You need to use your binoculars, stand on your tip-toes, and lean to get that partial view.

Loved the Members Club swim up bar and pool. Room was freezing and multiple requests to fix took 5 days to resolve. Weather was bad due to Hurricane Melissa. 10 day stay saw sun for 2 days at end of trip.
Beautiful property except for work being done on balcony pergolas which caused saw dust on balcony and in hot tub which made it unusable.
Breakfast was best meal any given day. Dinners not so much. Steak house restaurant steaks were marginal.
Desserts were always good with lots of variety.

I’m going to start my review with being totally honest-I did get super sick after eating or drinking something. But that being said, the staff was super helpful and kind to make sure I got to the medical center and was treated there. The staff of the resort go above and beyond to help and make your stay the best experience. I do wish there were more breakfast options and our bathroom needed a deep clean. I felt like it got more of a superficial clean. Those are my only two minor complaints. The rest was amazing!

Rooms need better clean ser. Preferred Club is useless scam: all true upgraded services need extra fees (drinks, pool chairs) Preferred pool areas “chairs” dis not have control so we still needed to “chase at 7 am in pijama for them”. I claimed Expedia and Hotel for money back for that fee - waiting for reply. People is the best fortunately . Web site and Expedia site MUST alert as other similar all inclusive resorts the “mood resort type” : this was like an USA resort in Punta Cana - US music all day long. We get the US market is special as EU etc etc and hotel wants to deliver a format for that high volume of customers . We leave in the US but Latin American people were looking for fun - our roots !!!! Nothing of that . We have been in other resorts and we booked understanding of quire style, matured adults style etc (in Cabo’s or Cancun etc ) . The new year eve unfortunately was not good at all …… the Country singer was great haha a perfect US singer …

The hotel was beautiful and has a great beach, nice pools and a friendly staff. We enjoyed in a ton. Our room was excellent. It was a bit noisy and it’s somewhat annoying to be at an all inclusive and then some areas and restaurants are not included, especially when they don’t look like they’re worth the upgrade. But a great hotel. Hope to be back soon.

Would not leave my daughter and myself alone. My daughter actually felt scared around them. I informed Security newer times about them and they did absolutely nothing.

Third visit - same beautiful manicured area, clean, comfortable rooms, well trained staff, great food. Our butler Carlos Fabian provided an outstanding service. We have requested him after the last year visit. Polite, kind and very responsible gentleman. He was helping us even when he took a few days off. Bar tenders Frany, Rosa, Felix made any imaginable cocktail, friendly, cheerful and caring. Clara at Bordeaux restaurant, knowledgeable and elegant. Cooks at the Riviera buffet who made great dishes in front of us. Thank you all!

Julio Baez in Preferred Lounge one of the best, he was entertaining, and made great drinks.
They could use some more lively music in there though.
Orlando our butler was great, made us our massage appointment, dinner reservations, luggage pick up and was always checking to see if we needed anything!!

Secrets royal, overall was a great resort to stay at. The staff was friendly, they took great care of us. The resort was beautiful and clean. The food was ok and the drinks were good. We enjoyed the daily entertainment. There were a couple of small things missing from our room that could’ve made our room better, like light bulbs for the lamp, and ironing board, and full length mirror. Overall it was a great stay and I would come back.

I stayed at this resort and was induced under false terms to purchase a vacation package. The salesperson explicitly stated that we were purchasing prepaid vacations for any all-inclusive hotel affiliated with Hyatt. I later learned that we were charged nearly $6,000 only to receive a mere 25% discount—an arrangement that makes absolutely no sense and was never disclosed during the sales presentation.

I intend to file a federal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, contact the Better Business Bureau, notify Hyatt corporate, and pursue legal action. It is extremely disappointing that customers are intentionally misled and taken advantage of for profit. Hard-working people should not be deceived for someone’s quick financial gain.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and instantly fell in love with the property.

Diego was amazing and met with us EVERYDAY to assure we were well taken care of, truly detail oriented.

We met a couple of great friends and a bunch of new family at the preferred club pool bar.

Sebastian and Obispio were so kind, friendly, inviting and really made us feel like family.!

Magalis Was incredible, she remembered my name and how I preferred my eggs cooked to order, Magalis is a standard setting team member and incredibly valuable asset to your staffing!!

First, we want to say the resort itself was amazing and beautiful. The ambiance was great and relaxing. The amenities that we took the time were fun and entertaining. Our room itself was gorgeous, roomy, and very comfortable overall. The staff did a great job keeping our room clean and straightened up for us. One thing that truly stood out was Eramy, our butler. He was knowledgeable, answered any and every question we had. If we needed anything, he was able to get it for us in a timely manner. We enjoyed our time at the Secrets resort and Eramy helped make our anniversary stay a little better.

The hotel is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing vacation with your partner. The food is excellent, and there’s a great variety of activities to enjoy. The staff is professional, extremely helpful, and always willing to ensure you have a unique experience.

At the pool area, we were assisted by Santos, who went above and beyond. His attention and responsibility truly made our day. He is the kind of waiter any hotel would be lucky to have — simply outstanding. Highly recommended!

The fact that at check in we are being upsold - was incredibly disappointing and poor taste - then we are given the “$200.00 golden key” to use only if you sit through a sales pitch - plus all the vendors walking around the resort and pool trying to constantly sell you. First time to this resort, I had a great time. I spent time at each pool and bar. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would to even think I made some long term friends with some of the staff. They even with a language barrier they treated you like family. Going out of there way to say hello with a big smile.
