The mail pool is super nice and sometimes there’s an inflatable for the kids which the kids loved.
Kids club was awesome to get the kids out of the sun for 2 hours a day and the kids enjoyed the activities they had for them. They also enjoyed the water park (5 and 3 year old kids).
The food was really. The tapanyaki was especially fun for the kids.
Standing in line to book the à la cart restaurants was annoying and we couldn’t get the times we wanted (we were given reservations at 8:30 everyday which was too late for my kids), but we we to reception after and they were able to help change our reservations to earlier times and texted us everyday which restaurant we were booked for.
You have to reserve a cabana by the pool early (between 7-8) or else you’re not getting one.
The beach was really nice. Minimal seaweed. Beautiful white sand and blue water.
The staff was really hospitable and helpful.
Overall, we loved the hotel and plan on going back soon.

The hotel is gorgeous and perfect lcoation. the service is slow but that's probably because its an all inclusive. the food is not very good. the hotel also has you make reservations on site for dinners or else you have to eat at the buffet, but their hotel reservation system doesn't really work and they will tell you you dont have a reservation even though you waited in line in the morning for an hour to make them.

Best Family Vacation Ever

By far the best room layout for a family. We booked a Family Concierge Master Swim out room for a family of 4. Concierge was a nice addition but definitely not necessary. Food is decent, not great. No issues finding something at every meal. Tons of families with young kids. Waterpark and Fun Republic are must visit places with the kids.

Arrival was not very welcoming Never got the welcome drink like all the other guests. Staff was not graciously kind to elderly people only to the people who pay VIP. ….The beach was very inconvenient to get to, and there was not enough seating for the people of the elderly…. Food was horrible. Not much Spanish food and it was very bland.

The only thing that was negative was both myself and my friend both came down with norovirus, myself on day 2 and friend on day 4. That kind of ruined it for us. But I cannot say anything bad about the hotel.

Paradisus Grand Cana in Punta Cana is honestly the BEST all-inclusive resort I’ve ever experienced! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The cleanliness, luxurious vibe, and stunning aesthetics in every single space made the entire stay feel like a dream.

The spa was hands down my absolute favorite! I received the BEST massage and facial I have ever had. Huge shoutout to Elizabeth and Analys — they were incredible! And the signature tea they served was the perfect touch to such a relaxing experience.

Everything about this hotel was so amazing that we literally booked another night because we didn’t want to go home!

If you’ve been thinking about booking — just go ahead and do it. You will NOT regret it!

We just returned from a week at the Paradisus Grand Cana. The hotel was beautiful and very well kept. The drinks were amazing and made with nice quality ingredients. We also liked that they were able to make a variety of different drinks. The rooms were the nicest we have ever seen at an all inclusive hotel. All that being said, getting a reservation for dinner was not only almost impossible but the women who makes the reservations was rude and not helpful at all. On day one of arrival I was informed there were no available reservations for the entire week. When pressed she gave us the one night at the beach restaurant for 9:30 pm. When we arrived there was not one other party in the restaurant. By the time we finished dinner we were unable to get a golf cart ride back to the hotel. The staff that served us at dinner ended up leaving us and walking back. We were not impressed with the quality of the food as a whole. And honestly we really aren’t that picky. We were also surprised at how small the beach is. Everyone is packed together in a very small area and vendors are non stop approaching. We will not be returning to this hotel. But, if eating at the buffet for all of your meals okay and also not having the ocean close by isn’t a big deal to you, than you will enjoy!

Room was great, best room I ever had in any hotels here. Food was terrible. They cater only to their circle club members. Buffet was small and basic, like a 2 star hotel. Steak restaurant was very good but I had to pay extra to get in there. They said no availability for my first 2 nights. WHAT? I wont return. Staff are sad and depressed, most of them move in slow motion like it was 50 years ago. Someone had their pet dog with them (and I love pets) but they should not allow animals in the restaurants and feed them our food. WOW.

We travel the world and stay in many different hotels and resorts. Paradisus is AMAZING! Interior design is beautiful, luxury and modern. There was not a part of this hotel (and the room) that I would change (and I’m fussy when it comes to that). We had a swim out which gave you a good chunk of your own private patio. Now food: I am by no means a foodie, I don’t get excited about food, I just eat to survive 😆 But even I was impressed with quality and variety of foods there. Literary everything was delicious and such high quality that even most non-all-inclusive resorts would have a hard time matching it. We don’t usually travel to the same spot twice as we like to discover new places but I would be inclined to going back there.
I had a massage and a facial and they were the best quality I had ever received (and I live in NYC). The entertainment was always so fun! The silent disco, Mexican fiesta, live bands.

Only 2 tips for the resort: we were on the ground level and when people above us moved their chairs or other pieces of furniture it was EXTREMELY loud. Also, the water at the swim up pool and the kids water park was FREEZING. We could not really enjoy it (not sure about the main pool, we did not go in).

Go there! Guaranteed great vacay☀️🌴

Is amazing , I felt I got value for my money. Staff is amazing, food at the buffet was good , changeing every day , asian fusion was bad and steak house steak was not too amazing but the restaurant and service was amazing.

Few tips :

When you take a shower put a towel by the door othwise you will flood the bathroom, when making a reservation with the concierge make sure he/she takes a picture of the reservation with you phone and if you have the grill down by the pool make sure you tell the chef to change the taungs as he is using same for raw and cooked food.

Just go and have fun !

Walking from lobby to the room was not fun no signs anywhere. My kids kept getting lost. Horrible design.
Only one entrance into kids park which meant we had to walk all the way around that was annoying.
Kids club hours aren't the best but the staff is amazing.
Don't order Uber because they won't let them in. You'll have to get a ride to the gate.
It's family resort very nice.
Boring at the pool, barely any music but was ok.
Watered down drinks...

Awesome rooms. Nice resort. Great spa. Hot tub on the balcony was nice. If you want a beachfront bed be prepared to pay more for it (not included, and not explained anywhere; a waiter will ask you for a payment after you sit down in a beach bed). Impossible to get a bed at the main pool where there is bar service because people “reserve” them by dropping towels very early in the morning and then go back to bed.

Food was extremely lacking. Hard to get dinner reservations. Reservations must be made in person in the lobby. I was a party of 1 and the one night I got a reservation they tried to insist I sit at a table with a family (with kids) I didn’t know. I refused and only then did I get my own table. When I expressed frustration about dining, staff kept shrugging and directing me to the sports bar, the only sit down restaurant that didn’t need reservations. Buffet food often tasted stale or spoiled to me (e.g., salad bar items tasted old and musty). Room service menu was extremely limited and poor quality (food arrived burned, not matching the menu, fries were always stale, off putting odors on the fresh veggies, etc). When I brought all of this to the attention of the concierge at checkout, he smiled and suggested I come back another time. This was my second stay and I do not recall it being anything like this the first time. I won’t be back. The place has an impressive atmosphere but if the food’s bad and I can’t lay out in the sun, why am I paying for an all inclusive?

Rooms were clean and updated. Service was great. Staff was friendly. Drinks were awesome. They have coors lite and coronas as well!

We had a swim up with concierge . If you have kids, it’s worth it. We did a trip for purely relaxation and we barely left our swim up pool! Servers came right to the pool for orders!

We went to the beach a couple times, Carts are every couple minutes. We never waited and the kids loved sitting in the back seat. Water was warm. Seaweed was there but not horrible.

The sellers on the beach were the worst part. They would fight over you to each other if another one already spoken to you and it makes things very uncomfortable. But I know that is everywhere. As a polite Canadian saying “maybe later” didnt cut it, you just had to be polite and tell them NO thank you sternly, until the next one came seconds later.
They beach restaurant was fabulous and so was the person cooking bbq with another Buffett to the side.

Aquazone and fun republic were AMAZING! The workers were fantastic and so nice and really interacted with the kids.

Great stay! We will be back for sure!!

For the most part we were very happy with our stay at Paradisus Grand Cana. A coupe of things would have more positively influenced my review, however. Food: the first couple of days were surprisingly disappointing. I was concerned it would continue that way (bland, unseasoned food and a lack of tropical fruit). However it suddenly improved and we were not unsatisfied for the rest of the trip. Rooms: of all things I think this was the best part of the trip - spacious, clean and well lit. Apart from sporadic water bottle delivery (which should be improved) we were very comfortable. I would recommend changing the mattress on the sofa bed, which was very thin and bumpy (we had to get rollaway beds for the kids)
Service: the actions of a few can influence the overall experience. We met several employees who were excellent (courteous, thoughtful and kind) but there were inconsistencies. From the sullen towel delivery to dishes that piled up on the dining tables, there could definitely have been more close attention to service, particularly within a 5-star rated resort.
One big thing that can be improved -

The room was nice, the kitchen was not equipped for cooking, the hot tub was somewhat small for a tall person, but otherwise fit two people and had hot.water. The room we booked showed a lounge chair on the balcony in the photos, but was missing upon checking in. Several attempts were made by us to Angel (our purser) and guess services to get the lounger delivered to the room, but the lounger never materialized. The pools are not heated FYI. The all inclusive was very good with lots of food and drink options. Make sure to book dinner reservations the day before to ensure you can get a table.

My family of 4 stayed at the paradisus grand Cana in a swim up suite facing the garden which i loved way more than the swim ups facing the main pool. It’s less noisy and only the people who have swim out rooms can access it. The water park was great for my kids. Food was ok. The restaurants were pretty good. Rooms were nice and clean only thing I would recommend is the hotel clean the couches and chairs as they are fabric. Also the chairs at the buffet were dirty. Need a good cleaning

Prior to arriving we did the digital check in believing that this would alleviate our arrival. Upon arrival we were sat in the man area where we waited to be checked in again. They then got out documents and checked us in and said we would have to wait for our room. We then sat outside as we had 4 kids with us and two hours went by and our room still wasn’t ready. No one came and check on us our offered any additional help. Another hour went by and finally one of the employees Emely Burgos said is anyone helping you and we said no and she was able to get us to our room shortly after that. I’m not sure why the check in process couldn’t have been done faster

We had the family concierge swim up suite and highly recommend the extra cost. Having a pool outside your door with kids is great and our concierge Ricardo helped us with daily reservations and schedules. There is also a family check in lounge with snacks and a bar cart. Only complaint would be the music level at night is not that kid friendly. Ours didn’t like being around the band because it’s noisy and then could hear it from the room until about 10:30 pm every night. Kids club and water slide area were also very nice and convenient with constant golf cart service. Also some gaps in food service at beach and before lunch could be filled in with grab and go options besides the chips and candy provided.
All in all we really had a nice time!

This hotel was fantastic. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommend.

1. Food was overall excellent. For what you would expect at an AI experience, the food was as good as you could ask for. Restaurants all fantastic. The buffet was varied and quality. Little to no complaints about food. Buffet could be warmer, but minor concern.

Swim up room - Master Concierge - was absolutely perfect. Huge patio area for us to use exclusively. The room itself was one of the best we've stayed in anywhere. Separate bedroom, bathroom and living room/kitchen was excellent. Pull out couch and 2nd sofa were perfect for kids and we could sit outside and go in/out via bedroom without waking them.

One minor issue is that the tile floors are SUPER slippery when wet. After a couple of tumbles by kids we deemed no wetness on tiles and everything wet had to be on the patio.

3. Cleanliness - Perfectly spotless. The room, and entire resort was perfectly clean.

4. Beach - The beach was great, a bit of seaweed washed up but nothing too bad or offensive at all. Tons of people selling things was a drawback.

5. Family Concierge - Fransua was amazingly helpful. Highly recommend the added value. Helped book restaurants, shows, activities and every minor problem was solved ASAP. He was a huge part in making the vacation great. Initial service and check-in left us worried but that was alleviated by Fransua. He created a special birthday party in our room for our 4yo. Just fantastic!

First and foremost, the way everything was catered to children truly set this resort apart. From the engaging kids club to the water park activities and thoughtfully planned events to the wide variety of food and entertainment options, our daughter was not only included but celebrated. The incredible care provided by Mary, a babysitter who treated our child with warmth and attentiveness, gave us peace of mind and allowed us to relax in ways we rarely can while traveling.

🎩 Concierge Excellence
Secondly, we must highlight the phenomenal service from our concierge, Gustavo. He checked in on us tirelessly every few hours, ensuring every detail was handled seamlessly. All of our restaurant and spa activity reservations were taken care of without us lifting a finger. He went above and beyond by decorating our rooms for our friend’s 40th birthday, securing two connected rooms exactly as requested, and even spoiling our 2‑year‑old with personal attention, a handwritten note, toys, and goodies from the kids club.

🌴 Overall Experience
As experienced travelers accustomed to high‑level service and luxury resorts, our expectations were already high—but this trip exceeded them in every way. The fact that our daughter was so happy

We had booked a special birthday trip with the grandparents in May 2025. The resort is special and has a great pool and water park that we felt were not as well advertised as they were standout features of the resort. They had dance shows yes, magic shows and other activities poolside every single night we were there, which everyone really enjoyed. We traveled in a large group ranging from 4 to 74 years old, and everyone had something to do at this place which we liked. The restaurants were varied and all generally very nice, although the concierge level service helped getting reservations as this was a busy time at the property. Our little girl turned 4 and the concierge planned a nice celebration and decorations to make it extra special for her. The only negative I had was the private tour operator they had in the resort Who frankly should be banned as they do not run a professional operation. We were promised something end got something quite different when we booked a boat trip with them, which left a bad taste in the mouth at the end of what would otherwise have been a magical memorable trip for our daughter with her grandparents.

The facilities were beautiful and the staff was friendly and attentive. Their family concierge service was of no benefit and the process for making reservations at the various specialty restaurants within the facility was almost entirely ineffectual. We tried to get reservations and the specialty restaurants for each night we were there, but were told they could only accommodate half of our group but then the restaurants were half empty. Frustrating.

The hotel exceeded expectations, particularly when it came to the accommodations. We stayed in a Master suite with an adjacent connected Junior suite, which was perfect for our family of five and provided convenient space for everyone.

**Check-in Experience**
The check-in process had some complications. Although we were charged for our stay several days before arrival, the front desk claimed they couldn’t locate the payment when we arrived. Despite showing them the charge on my card app, we had to pay again with a different physical card. Due to conflicting information from management about refund timelines, I ultimately had to file a dispute with my credit card company.

**Dining**
The food quality was excellent overall, though the dining experience had mixed results. The main buffet was outstanding and consistently satisfying. However, the specialty restaurants were disappointing for several reasons:

- Reservations were difficult to secure upon arrival
- The daily booking requirement was inconvenient
- Portion sizes were extremely small - more like appetizers than full meals
- After trying two restaurants, we found ourselves returning to the buffet like many other guests

**Entertainment**
The entertainment program needs significant improvement.

**Recommendation**
Despite the payment issues and restaurant limitations, the quality of the rooms stay was pleasant.

We had a great stay, room was great and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dining options were good, including the buffet. We had family concierge which we were really happy with. Fransua was extremely helpful and went out of his way. If you’re thinking of family concierge, we definitely recommend you ask for him. We recommend Paradisus and we will likely go back one day ourselves.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. This is my fourth time there and they do not disappoint. We went to celebrate my mother‘s birthday. I contacted the hotel before we got there and they had champagne and cake for my mother when we got to the room we had two swim Suites, Susana was our concierge she was amazing! Luisa checked us in and all my family members she was awesome! Room service takes about one hour or so , so you have to order ahead of time but the choices are delicious. Tori staff and Peruvian restaurant as well as the steak were very attentive and on top of their game, Daniel the bartender was the best!! he even made cocktails for my six-year-old kids, and carlos was assigned to to bring us drinks to the swim area where we had our rooms, I can’t even begin to describe this man, so Friendly professional always happy and never ever got our drinks wrong ! Wishing all the staff the best! We will be coming back soon

The property itself is beautiful. The grounds were kept clean and the facilities. The rooms were spacious. However, the swim up pools were dirty. Staff were inconsistent about what services could be provided. The food was the worst I have eaten at the specialty restaurants except for maybe the Tori (the Asian restaurant). The food was cold, didn’t have any taste. I spent almost $150 in tips and had to get connected and encouraged to get a Conceirge. This was the only way to get reservations in the restaurants and get good service at the bars.
