This hotel was absolutely fabulous for our family holiday for 10 people. The food was incredible, room was spotless and gorgeous. The staff was so kind. The beach, pool, and activities were amazing. The only thing I’d improve, add a lift to the buildings, we had an elderly person with us who struggled using the stairs, also for accessibility for disabled visitors. Also I have a food allergy (dairy), and I let the hotel know and the staff members, but didn’t feel they really took it into consideration. I was given food that contained the item I was allergic to, even when I asked beforehand if this had dairy and was told no. I’d recommend adding some dairy free desserts. Otherwise, the food was incredible, especially the steak restaurant.

The best part about this hotel was the lobby when you first walk in with the beach view as advertised and the beach itself was absolutely gorgeous, but honestly that’s where it ends for me. Food is TERRIBLE, even at the restaurants, drinks are TERRIBLE, music is TERRIBLE or hardly any music, no activities or shows really, and most importantly, the staff are not too friendly and quite rude in my opinion. There were maybe 4 to 5 people l encountered that were friendly out of all the staff there. Another thing to note no one really spoke English. I would not recommend this place, don’t be deceived by the photos.

overall, it was a very good experience. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and has a great atmosphere.However, there were a few areas that could be improved. The drinks were not always prepared perfectly and felt a bit inconsistent. Additionally, we found the dinner options to be quite limited. We ate at the buffet most nights but unfortunately did not enjoy the food, as many dishes lacked flavor and were not very delicious.It is a wonderful resort, but the dining and beverage quality definitely has room for improvement.

Beautiful facilities, my room exceeded my expectation, I had an ocean front, on the adults only side. I didn’t want to leave. Excelente service, the staff is super friendly and want to make sure you feel at home. Most of guests I talked to come repeatedly. Our concierge Senovia, amazing! And Antonia, Michael, Jason, and Angelo at the Fahrenheit bar made our experience unforgettable. The beach is very nice, and food very good. Can’t wait to go back!

Our stay at Paradisus Palma Real Punta Cana exceeded our expectations and became one of our favorite vacations. We stayed in The Reserve section and from arrival, everything felt effortless.

A special thank you to José, our bellman, who was exceptional from arrival to departure and always made us feel welcome. Our concierge, Christopher Rivera (Chris), truly made this vacation unforgettable. He arranged all of our dinner reservations, constantly checked on us, and made sure we had everything we needed. For my birthday, he helped my husband organize a private beach dinner with a special song playing—it honestly felt like a dream.

Special recognition also goes to Arismendi for making my birthday dinner extra special, Dilania at the pool area for always checking on us, Rafael at the beach for constantly going above and beyond, Carlos for my birthday drink, and Gladys for an incredible massage. Every employee made us feel like family.

Our beachfront walkout room was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. The resort itself is luxurious, spacious, spotless, with plenty of beach chairs, pools, and a beautiful beach.

Brutally honest: we travel often and are hard to impress with food, but the buffet had great variety and authentic Dominican breakfast. Kanna, Asian, the steakhouse, and Italian restaurant were our favorites. Drinks were typical all-inclusive drinks. Nightlife is limited after 11 PM, but if relaxation is what you want, this place delivers.

We just came back from vacation with a group of 12 people. We all loved the resort and hotel! The location of the resort is excellent, the amenities were all there and great, and the food was exceptional. My kid's favorite meal was lunch. The pools were so big, clean, and beautiful. The staff and all the people were so friendly, nice, and very helpful. Check in went very smoothly and the receptionist Michael did an excellent job. Thank you Michael! Just returned from a short 4 day stay at the Reserve section of the Paradisius Palma Real. Had an outstanding time. Our concierge was Bascillo (Le Basi) - was very helpful. Martin (and Rahul) at the beach were outstanding in saving us our favourite spot every day and keeping us refreshed with drinks.
Other than a delay at the reserve check in desk everything was outstanding. Service was top notch and food was good. Will definitely be back.

The resort was stunning and clean! Most of the staff were friendly, including Fernando, a very nice young man who helped us make the most of our stay. I visited with my mom and we noticed that we were ignored by wait staff while they were very attentive to other guests… which was strange. The buffet wasn’t great and it was a literal mission to make reservations at the restaurants on site. We had an assigned concierge who unfortunately didn’t get us reservations at the spots we requested despite telling us he would set us up with a whole dinner schedule of reservations. We ended up eating at the buffet more than we would’ve liked. I think the reservation system needs to be revamped for sure.

Honestly, overall, the place was amazing. The only problem we really had was that our mini bar refrigerator had not been working since the first day we stayed there and mind you we stayed there for a whole entire week and the week finished and we had a very wonderful time in the resort, but they always said that they were gonna try and change our refrigerator or fix it and they never did so our beverages were always super hot which isn’t nothing crazy but just something that would’ve made my experience a little bit better even though it’s such a small thing as a refrigerator

I stayed in the Reserve section for two nights. Although the amount I was ultimately charged did not match the amount I was told at check-in, I still think the upgrade was worth it. Since it was my first visit and I do not speak Spanish, having conceirge available to guide me through daily activities and programs was very helpful. Most staff members were kind and helpful. The adult-only pool was clean, relaxing, and not crowded. I also visited the family pool, which was larger and also looked very nice. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated the calmer atmosphere.
The food was good and there were plenty of options. As a vegetarian with mushroom and eggplant allergies, I still had enough variety. I enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Santé and dinner at Blue Agave. Blue Agave had a lovely atmosphere, but the service there was disappointing. My plates were cleared twice while I was still eating, simply because I was typing on my phone. I asked about dessert options and was told churros & vanilla ice cream fritters. I asked for vanilla ice cream with churros, and after about 5 min I was told they only had chocolate ice cream. I had been there only around 40 minutes, the restaurant was nearly empty, and I felt rushed and unwelcome when I had hoped to enjoy my last evening.
My reservation included spa credit, but I was booked at Zel, so I couldnt use it. My personal concierge was great and arranged a jacuzzi bath both nights. I also enjoyed yoga, zumba, and bachata on the beach.

Very disappointing experience at Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort. For the amount of money paid, I expected luxury hospitality and professional management, but unfortunately my entire stay was stressful and unpleasant.

From the first night, management handled situations very poorly and staff were rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming throughout most of the trip. Security treated us in an extremely disrespectful way, and management did nothing meaningful to resolve the situation or make up for the experience.

Housekeeping also failed to clean our room on the first night even after we specifically requested it, which added to the frustration and is one of the reasons I rated cleanliness poorly.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt cold and uncomfortable rather than relaxing or luxurious. Aside from one helpful employee named Freddy, customer service across the resort was honestly terrible. Even when issues were brought to management’s attention multiple times, there was no real effort to improve our stay or compensate us for the problems we experienced.

This was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, but it ended up being one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had.

This hotel was amazing for the kids. I went with my 9 year old and 5 year old and they hada blast. The pool is huge and great for kids. They had all this type of Activities for kids in the pool, le this little nini botas that the can ride and push the handles to go back and forward. The show of nights were amazing. We saw a superheroes show and a piratería show that was super cool, kids love it. Recomiendes for days with you kids. Ahhh and the beach is the most beautiful ever.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The beach is spectacular. Food is wonderful. I have been to this resort five times in eight years. It’s hard not to go back when it is lovely and you feel very safe.
However. The service each time has went down and this time to such a degree that it does not make up for all of the beauty of the place. Yes. Some staff were very nice. But the majority pay more attention to their colleagues than the vacationers. Waited an hour and a half for ice because there are no ice machines and then being told you can get yourself at one of the restaurants. I always upgrade to reserve for the butler. Really all he does is make your reservations for your meals. You can call ahead one week prior and do that yourself. They use to do all kinds of small things and reserve your lounge chairs. Put small snacks in your room before your dinner to snack on while getting ready with your favorite drink. There seven days. He did it twice with no drinks.
My recommendation is if you want you are paying for pay a little

Our stay at this all-inclusive resort was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always made us feel valued throughout the entire trip ( special Thank You for Danielle from Circle Melia Club), she made my vacation unforgettable.
The resort itself was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere everywhere we went.

Most importantly, the overall atmosphere was peaceful, luxurious, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We truly felt taken care of the entire time. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free vacation experience.

Let me start off by saying the resort itself is beautiful and amazing. Its not a disgusting resort and nasty.
I went in just trying to relax and had low expectations but for some reason those low expectations became worse than I thought. I have been to multiple all inclusives, one in Punta Cana and I have never experienced worse service ever. We landed late and had a long flight of which we got there and got our wristbands/hotel keys. We were told we had a private concierge of which we were promised. We asked if we could make any dinner reservations of which he said we could not when we arrived because the reservation woman was not working. We carried all our luggage to our hotel room to find out our room keys weren't working so the concierge guy made us walk all the way with our backpacks back to the lobby to then get the key fixed to then walk all the way back to our room again. Im pretty low maintenance but the fact he went you had a long flight you guys should get some rest to making us lug our backpacks like 4 times rubbed me wrong. I told him the dinner reservations we wanted to make of which he told us he would make and he was going to text us on whats app. I never recieved a text at all and then the next morning we discovered we could make reservations on a tablet for our entire trip of which we found out he never made reservations for us. Beautiful setting, great pool, abundant lounges and beach front cabanas and umbrellas. The ocean water was truly a dream and the sand was incredibly soft. Food was decent, minimal complaints. The drinks were surprisingly fantastic- especially the bloody mary from the coffee bar and the pina colada from the sports bar! Shout out to those bartenders! The rooms were spacious and mostly clean. My only complaints: The A/C didn't do a very good job of dehumidifying anything and the room remained super humid. Because of this, the room also had a bit of a smell- a mix of mildew, feet, and smoke. It wasn't horrible and we adjusted fine after being in the room for a couple minutes. Overall we were super satisfied and we plan to go back

Overall this resort was a pretty big disappointment. The main area of the resort (lobby, courtyard, restaurant area) was very nice, scenic, clean and plenty of space to sit around and relax and enjoy the views. There are plenty of bars with decent drinks and friendly bar tenders. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The room however was very underwhelming and a pretty big disappointment. We had the Junior Suite with the Ocean view. The room had definitely seen better days. Poorly patched holes and cracks in the walls, a very uncomfortable and stained couch, stains on the walls and furniture, and a pretty persistent mildew smell. It just seemed run down and their solution was to paint over everything (they even painted over a stray hair on the furniture).

Finding a spot at the beach was somewhat of a hassle if you didn’t get down early. People would throw a towel down to claim a spot and not come back for hours, staff didn’t seem to enforce any of the 30 minute rules for leaving a space unattended. Most of the beachfront is behind expensive cabanas that seemed to go entirely unrented, blocking the view and leading to the beach vendors using them to hang out and lounge on when they weren’t harassing people trying to relax on the beach.

The food was by far the worst we’ve experienced. Eating at the buffet was mostly just trying to find things that didn’t look like they would get you sick (we still got sick). The actual restaurants were a little better.

We stayed in the adult only reserve ocean front room. The view was amazing. The food was average but initially better than any all inclusive we’ve been to. Our concierge was a huge help in booking our reservations, etc.: My husband got sick halfway through vacation and was in bed with diarrhea , fever and body aches. We had the hotel Dr come to our room and prescribe him medication.He was only able to eat saltines the remainder of our trip.
Pretty disappointing when we payed the upgrade for the reserve and couldn’t enjoy the food and drinks the rest of the days.
If we didn’t get sick and we were able to enjoy the rest, our vacation without any issues I would’ve rated a five star. Unfortunately, I also came home with severe stomach issues. I’m on day six now and all I have to say is make sure to bring your hand sanitizer and watch what you eat.

The best kept secret of this resort is Pedro at the adults only beach club. Find him and experience the VIP treatment. He will think of every possible detail to make your day perfect!
Harry the concierge at the reserve was great too! He made all the restaurant reservations, and made sure we had all the information of activities each day.
The restaurants were good, don’t miss the stake house.
Overall a great vacation hotel if you are looking to relax and reset.

I had a great experience thanks to Rafelin and the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. They were professional, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. Their positive attitude really made a difference, and I would definitely come back because of the excellent service.

Pros:
The property is well maintained and the room is clean. It’s a stunningly beautiful property. The food is very fresh and clearly prepared with care.
Cons:
The hotel management is not good, and it really affected our experience.
1.We did not receive airport pickup despite filling out their pre-arrival form. When we arrived, our kids had to sleep without pillows the first night because the sofa bed was not made, even though we had requested this in advance.
2.We had issues at check-in because our room was not available due to a “leak.” We were downgraded to a lesser room for the first night. A “concierge” promised us free spa treatment and water park bracelets as compensation, but it turned out he was actually a sales person trying to get us to buy into their vacation plan (Melia Circle). There were no free spa treatments initially. We had to argue with the front desk for four days in a row just to get them to honor what was promised. It was exhausting and frustrating. Every time we asked to speak to a manager, we had to explain everything again to a new person. I eventually had to call Expedia to file a complaint, and even they could not get in touch with the hotel to resolve the issue.
3.Do not believe the “free credits” like the $200 resort credit, $50 wine credit, or $100 spa credit listed on your reservation. They look like perks for Expedia guests, but the front desk either doesn’t know about them or refuses to honor them. These are actually tied to their timeshar

We went for a family vacation. Strengths are a great resort in a fantastic location. Rooms are excellent as well. Service can be somewhat spotty and language can be problematic at times. Also, dinner reservations process is a bit chaotic and if you are vegetarian, dinner options are limited. Otherwise, highly recommended. Amazing weather as well.

I never do all inclusive! This is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed from the cleanliness, the staff, the resort……I had a great time! It is really hard to leave! My room was very clean , spacious and beautiful! We had a swim up master suite I recommend getting that room! I can’t wait to come back.

All inclusive that is not all inclusive.
You can not visit all the pools and restaurants unless you upgrade to so called “ reserve status ” and no one tells you this until after you check in. The food quality is so so but not for 5 star resort. On the see food side you get shrimp and if you are lucky and arrive at the buffet early you may get octopus. At the restaurants you have to pay additionally if you want lobster for instance. The coffee they serve for breakfast is instant coffee if you want real coffee ( brewed ) you have to go to the lobby. The list goes on and on

Great place! I would suggest more indoor activities for when it rains. Overall lots to do and nice and helpful staff. Beautiful property. Book your dining early, most nights it was completely booked.

room is overate. staff treat you by your status. if you are a national, don't even attempt go there. that place is exclusive for foreigner. Iam Dominican but I feel sorry to see some of my kind judging others national like we don't belong there.
