整體住宿感覺很不錯，但是美中不足的是早餐供應。前一天晚上每間客房都已經預定隔天的早餐了。但是，卻在領餐時間到前往領取時，被告知無法領取，最後拿到的時間為原定時間的1小時以後。但是，餐點依然是冷的。這是這次住宿最不滿意的地方。

Avoid if you are not traveling with kids
We went here to enjoy a quiet weekend by the ocean and ended up terribly disappointed.
This hotel is geared exclusively towards locals traveling with kids (a warning about this would have been nice).
Ripped towels and bedsheets, damaged curtains and terribly noisy.
Loud noises from kids jumping on beds until 11pm, the ocean view balcony was unusable due the constant crying and screaming.
Very few staff speak English so there was considerable waiting to order at the restaurant.
If you speak Chinese, are traveling with children and you don’t mind damaged bedsheets and towels this might be OK for you.

Beautiful Hotel, arrival welcome was good, room however was not as many things did not work and the front desk were slow to respond, waited 30 minutes for someone to come and sort the problems only to find they could not.
We then went down to restraunt only to find it closed, then to the lobby bar and asked what time they closed in the evening, they responded that they closed at 8pm, we then asked for a bucket of ice and two glasses to be sent to our room at which they responded that they would be sent in 30 minutes, this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel but so far the service was 1 star, so back to the front desk to complain as to why there where only limited services and why this was not advertised through the various booking agencies, nothing but apologies, after which I told them that if I had not paid the full price through Hotel.com for our 5 night stay I would have cancelled and found other accomodation. Reception staff were very apologetic but no solution, only to blame the downturn on the current virus situation, I stated to them that there was no virus in Taiwan as the great government here had implemented robust actions since January which resulted in less than 500 cases to date.
While about to enter an adjacent restaurant we were contacted by the front desk and offered an upgrade to a suite which after completing our meal we viewed and accepted.
The suite was lovely but housekeeping did not do a good job of cleaning.
Would we return? Time will tell.

The location is perfect. It is close to the ocean and the sunset was really gorgeous. Their room is spacious and their amenity was nice. The WiFi signal disappeared during my stay and I asked them to fix it. They fixed it rather quickly.

Our was very noisy the afternoon till 9pm. We are not happy with it as it is very expensive hotel. The front counter told us that they would do something. It ended up that nothing happened.

The staff were helpful but communications with them in English were often found difficult. The breakfast buffet had a good spread but had mostly Chinese foods and was very busy at peak hours. The bar in the lobby offers a very limited selection of drinks. Room housekeeping could be improved (carpet, dust, etc.). A few good restaurants can be found at the Fisherman's Wharf nearby the hotel. Ocean-view rooms are recommended

The hotel brunch was amazing- such a great selection of healthy food. This hotel is a great little escape from the city- and a short hop back to the action if you want it. I highly recommend getting bikes from the hotel and riding around - a great way to travel about and get some excercise.

Concierge is fine, 1 check is staff, a male on duty on the day we arrived is the most horrifying hotel staff I have encountered ever.
No explanation, just push the keys that his colleague has prepared to me without any explanation, there are vouchers that is in the packages but since I cant read chinese, its too bad for me because he did not want to explain.
This is not the only hotel in Tamshuei, we can do without.

A quiet stay close to nature
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view of the water is peaceful and the town is cute and friendly. I would recommend if you are looking to be closer to nature with access to a little bit of city.

A beautiful theory ruined by a single ugly fact !
Overall a very good facility , but my room's air condition was not working and could not be repaired . This is early Oct and here is hot and humid . They were kind enough to upgrade me to a suite . The air conditioner was working but very weak , they explained that because of Taiphoon afterward something is not 100% working properly . That was 11 pm we finally settled , and the room cooled to 70 F about 3am , and my vacation is half gone . Next day I received a phone call urging me to leave because it is 11 am checking out time . Oh well , a nice hotel ruined by poor maintainence and management . It seems to me that everybody might be doing their job by following the rule but not going way out to help customers . No leadership or excellency here.

Too many minor flaws for the price.
We arrived at the hotel after a long baking walk in the sun (by or own choosing since both taxi and public transport will easily take you to the hotel) and was relished to arrive in the grand cool lobby. Our check-in was quick and hassle free. We easily found our way to the room through impeccable hallways. The room was located on the lowest floor for guest rooms, 5th floor of 10 available. The room had a good view over the river leading to Taipei, ocean and mountains. It was largely clean and tidy. However, for such an expensive hotel one really would expect to NOT find old wet towels in the bathroom bin. Nor would one expect to find old crumbs and dirt in the baby crib!
The rest of the hotel seemed largely empty which could be explained by our stay being on a weekday.
The outdoor terrace pool area was really nice with a good view over the ocean, though somewhat obstructed by a nearby building. The soap and shampoo dispensers in the women's shower area did not function as they should. Despite a strict swim cap policy, which did not seem to be enforced late at night, there was long hair in the swimming pool. We did not try the hot-pool spa area because of cleaning in progress. That incidentally had NOT been advertised on the hotels web-page before booking. I did have a 30 minute massage, that was clearly above average quality!

This is a very nice and new hotel. Some people complain about location, but the place it's beautiful, as I am resident in Taiwan, and I have a car been a bit far from the city center and subway, it was not a problem for me and my family. I have only one complain, I try to check in 14:45, and the front desk told me I need to wait until 15:00, beside that everything it was great!

Upgraded to a sea-view room which was very spacious with a balcony and great view.

This is a decent hotel overall, but I had a very unpleasant experience at the concierge desk during checkout. When I asked for a receipt or invoice, the staff member responded in a rude and irritated manner. I still don’t understand what the issue was, and it left a disappointing impression at the end of my stay.

The stay in the hotel was a surprising and nice experience. The room was huge with comfy beds. The balcony was big, the food choices in the buffet are sufficient and authentic. To our surprise, hotel guests can book table tennis equipment and table for free, thus allowing us to exercise more. Even more, the arcade next to the hotel was definitely a gem different interactive video games were provided. The hotel staff were helpful, professional and polite. The hot spring was splendid. There are few things that the hotel can do better though. For instance, our hotel room’s lighting and AC system suddenly turned off without any reason and warning, causing quite a frustrating situation for us during our stay. Nevertheless, this hotel was a gem in the Tamsui area.

第一天晚上入住，待全家人皆盥洗完畢就寢後，凌晨兩點開始聽到滴答聲，且頻率愈來愈高，起床查看才發現浴室門框上方嚴重漏水，水像下小雨一般不停滴下，但因其他家人皆已入睡，實在無法在凌晨兩點通報處理，只好等早上才通知飯店處理，飯店雖已儘快處理，但仍責怪我們未於第一時間通知，試問凌晨兩點不用睡覺全部人起床等貴飯店處理漏水問題嗎？且處理當下機器非常吵雜，若為當下處理，勢必影響同樓層其他房客，人都有同理心，沒有人會在這種時間要求處理，事後飯店告知管路因灰塵髒污阻塞造成水流不通而漏水，請問以福容飯店的等級及住房價格，是可以接受有上述情況發生的嗎？平常都不用對管路進行查看清潔疏通，要等到發生漏水事件才進行處理，這樣的做法是福容大飯店應該有的管理維護態度嗎？以上，為本次不愉快的住宿體驗實情，漏水影片若有需要可以提供佐證。

這次入住的是\"海景家庭房\"，由陽台即可欣賞到美麗的海景，又飯店近輕軌淡水漁人碼頭站，無論搭乘輕軌或騎UBike都可以很方便的到達附近景點。但早餐則顯得很一般。

入住後有點失望，我們總共訂了3間雙人房，1間四人房，四人房有加1人，事前也先打電話給飯店確認過，check in 時飯店也有加收1人的備品及早餐費，但實際進到房間時，所有的備品都只有3人份，就算沒算加人的，那間房型也是四人房，不懂房務怎麼準備的，但打電話告知櫃台房務也有馬上來補備品了；另外親戚住的有一間雙人房房卡打不開，下去櫃台告知房卡打不開，櫃台試了一下說房卡沒問題，請我們再上去試(沒有換卡)，但也沒有請工作人員陪同上去看有甚麼問題(如果還有問題不就還要再下去一次，因為第一次打不開我不覺得第二次試會打得開)，果然再上去一次還是打不開，還好走廊有電話打下去櫃台，櫃檯才請工務來看，事實是門上的店子鎖沒電了，這兩件事都算小事沒錯，但福容是5星級飯店，卻沒有讓我感受到5星級的感受，覺得很失望~
