Most of the staff members were great housekeeping was iffy. Some days the room was cleaned and tidied some days nothing much was done and the bed was not made. Fairly quiet shops around but they have odd opening and closing times. Great restaurant attached to the hotel open for lunch and dinner you can get room service from there to your room which is great affordable and delicious. Hotel breakfast was good nice coffee tea pastries fruit eggs etc. We felt safe and loved the ability to walk around easily. Would stay again.

Room was tired but ok - as was the rest of the hotel. Receptionist was unhelpful and vague. Went down for breakfast on the second day and there was not one clean table, all the food was gone, the coffee machine was not working. I could understand if this was right at the end of the breakfast service, but this was 7.30 in the morning.

Not what I expected from a 4 star hotel

I stayed for 5 nights. On my first night I had a COLD shower. Thought it might just be late in the day and tomorrow morning there will be hot water. The next morning same thing no hot water. Call up reception only to tell me that hot water works on a first come first served basis so who ever wakes up early will get water. just ridiculous. I moved rooms as they thought it was my shower. New room has warmer water but can't say it was hot. I didn't have to adjust the temperature. overall a disappointing stay. The staff were rude Alda in particular. Hardly spoke English and didn't even try to understand you. Walked away from me at one point as she was mid doing something. Found her especially rude. I will not be staying here again.

No Air Conditioning

Everything was fine except there was no air conditioning. I do not mean not working well, it was broken and a sign at check in said there was no air conditioning in the whole hotel. This was at the end of August and it was hot. I was told to just open up a window which tilted open all of about 3 inches. The climate in the room was very warm and stuffy. I had to sleep on top of the covers. After staying there I looked at the reviews and this has been a long term issue. Yet they advertise on Expedia that they have air conditioning. I barley tolerated it with a provided fan, but had it not been so late in the evening I would have found another room somewhere else and demanded my money back From Expedia for breach of contract. It is inexcusable that I was not notified of this situation. This is my first booking with Expedia and unless they refund me it will be my last.

Perfect Location and Priced Right!

Unbelievable location on the edge of the Altstadt adjacent to the River and the Parks. Walking distance to some of the finest restaurants anywhere, I think I gained 5Lbs!
Just great.
We toured by car to some of the WWI Memorials and Graveyards nearby on the weekend of Memorial Day, remembering the American's contribution throughout the last century to the freedom of Europe and my Grandfather, who luckily returned home alive

Plusieurs petits problèmes mais rectifié par l’hôtel. Exemples : Pas de téléphone, pas de serviette de bain, plus de savon côté douche et la douchette non fonctionnel. Voilà pas très pro à mon goût. Peut mieux faire . Personnels bien veillants quand même. Cordialement

Je suis très déçue de mon séjour à l'hôtel.
Je connaissais cet établissement pour y avoir déjà dormi.
Sur mon dernier séjour il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude pour se laver. Quand je l'ai signalé lors de mon départ, la réceptionniste m'a dit qu'elle était au courant et qu'ils avaient le problème depuis la vielle. La moindre des choses aurait été de me prévenir à mon arrivée. Les 100€ payé ont du mal à passer !!!! Et pas de remise ou de geste pour un futur séjour.

Disappointing but good location

Should be a 4 star hotel according to hotels dot com but was a disappointment. Very worn out look, very basic, bad smell in the reception. The room was ok but toilet was placed so it was almost impossibly to sit on it. You had the wall in your face. Hotel had no parking. The breakfast was very basic. Location was excellent and the day staff very friendly.

På bilresa genom Europa. Centralt beläget hotell som saknar egen parkering. Svårt att nå med bil. OK rum med connecting door. Välkomnande personal och god Covid anpassad middag på rummet.

L’état de l’hôtel n’a rien avoir avec les photos sur le site. La salle d’eau présentait des traces de salissure sur le carrelage de la cabine de douche et le sol. La literie est vieillote. Le petit déjeuner niveau qualité prix n’est pas du tout au rendez-vous franchement.

L'hôtel estt très bien, propre avc un accueil de qualité et de belles chambres spacieuses. Bien placé au coeur du centre ville, mais petit bémol sur l'absence de service de petite restauration hormis le restaurant Léon de Bruxelles associés à l'hôtel. Donc rien à faire si vous souhaitez un petit en-cas en dehors des heures d'ouverture du restaurant. Pas même un distributeur en libre service, c'est dommage.

Tres bon hôtel. Bien placé à proximité de la gare (5 minutes de marche - mais ça reste le plus proche). Très calme sur zone semi piétonne.
Le restaurant de l'hôtel est un Léon de Bruxelles - c'est original.
Proximité immédiate d'un centre piéton avec des rues commerçantes.
Chambres très confortables et accuel de qualité.

Je suis arrivée lundi 9 Décembre pour une nuitée.
La chambre qui donnait sur la mairie pestiferait et c est peu dire avec une odeur d'égouts insupportable
J ai donc demandé a changer de chambre
j ai donc passé cette nuit a la 401 je crois glaciale il a fallu mettre le chauffage et pas de lumiere au dessus du lavabo
Bref le matin aucune question sur mon séjour
J aurais apprécié un geste commercial

Bon accueil très agréable. Restaurant en bas pratique avec sa réduction si on réside à l’hôtel. Le personnel est très agréable. Bien isolé avec des équipements super. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel proche du centre-ville. Un pont à traverser et vous avez la gare SNCF. Bravo.
