Hotel is slightly further out, but! Bus from village of Bettembourg is only a 20 minute walk and the village is lovely. Uber is around €30 one way so very affordable as a group, there is a shop on site that also serve hot food.

The hotel was clean and tidy enough but the room we had was so tiny .. the shower and hand sink are in the room with the bed and it's a tight squeeze for two people plus luggage. Luckily we were only there for one night. This is not a hotel for more than a quick stopover.

I saw 4 rooms upon check-in, all had black mold around the silicon in the showers. Extremely unhealthy and toxic. When asked for a refund, they told me to go through hotels.com. Hotels.com was \"unable to get in touch with the Manager after multiple attemtps\" and therefore asked for my understanding in not being able to process the refund. I couldn't stay there overnight as my symptoms were immediate upon entering the room due to the large quantities of the black mold.

At the time when I booked this hotel I had no idea this was the budget ibis. The room was very small with no closet space or anywhere to put your clothes. There was no privacy at all for showering or getting dressed. Also there was only 1 blow dryer for the whole hotel and no wash cloths. My mom and I made the most of it because we had already booked it for 14 days and there was no way of canceling and getting a refund. Luckily the bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean. That was the most important part. The room was also very quiet and cleaned daily. After a few days of realizing we were not at the Ritz Carlton we really grew to love our little room. I would recommend staying at the other ibis if staying for more than 1 night. We were able to stay at a regular ibis in Colmar for one night and it was very nice and roomy. Plus there was a hair dryer and lots of places to put your clothes and toiletries. I would definitely stay in an ibis again and I highly recommend staying there if you are on a budget and just need a place to sleep.

It is what it is; a clean bed, hot shower, efficient check in. We had a car and staying a few miles outside the city was not a big deal. If you are planning a longer stay then perhaps staying directly in city would be better.

Location was fine, easy access to the motorway, check in and check out was also ok. You can still here the banging noise from adjacent rooms but not the voice or TV which is acceptable. You can't hear traffic noise from the busy motorway. The mini mart is reasonably priced with decent salads (caesar's was surprisingly tasty). Staff were nice, friendly and helpful. A deposit of €20 is required for the hairdryer at reception. The rooms are very basic, however, expect some wear and tear. If you arrive late at night, unlikely for you to find a parking space as coaches occupy a few car spaces. Comfortable bed and pillows, English channels are limited to CNN, CNBC, BBC... short drive to centre of town and airport, easy access to fast roads for your out of town trips. Free wifi is ok, signal is strong, tends to slow down around midnight.

The facilities were both adequate and basic, clean and bright, but we had asked for non-Smoking and were given one where previous guests had smoked despite the signs being visible. A total disrespect by clients of the Budget Ibis. Arcor need to do something about this quickly. Any bedroom maid would surely be able to detect the misuse of the room and prohibit the guest staying again in their hotels.
