Great Hotel, Restaurant staff was very polite and did everything they could even after 10pm .Room was sparkling clean and we were impressed.
Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because we were very disappointed by the lady who was in charge at front desk, rude and didn’t acted friendly at all , barely answered my questions , didn’t tell us anything about our stay , hotel amenities & suggestions.
I expected way more , she needs to improve , for sure .

This hotel was a great place for us to stay for our city break to Luxembourg. It was not far from the city centre and the main transport hubs. The hotel was lovely and the rooms were modern and spacious, you also cannot fault the staff - they were lovely and helpful. The only down side is that the district that the hotel was in did not seem to be the safest. In the evenings it was the worst and you need to keep your wits about you.

Great locarion, service and ambiance

It was our 1st time in the city, busy and short, and their location is excellent. Front desk staff was very welcoming and corteous. They were tremendously helpful when our train got canceled. A convenient restaurant downstairs helped us a lot since we were jetleged, and we enjoyed the overall ambiance.

Per the hotel staff the parking structure located directly underneath the hotel belongs to the city. There is no way to get into the structure aside from walking along the car ramp. You can get out but getting requires a card. I tried using the hotel access card and the parking receipt neither worked.

The bed is soft and they only give you half a pillow. Yes, despite the fact they give you just one pillow it’s a small pillow. The shower has some Make shift oriental door. Luckily I got a view of an old building with mold on it.

I looked up advertisement for this place and found that it cost 159 euros and I paid over $300 plus per night. Thanks Expedia?

I will not be back and I will look into not using Expedia again as the rating as the ratings on Expedia seem to be BS.

The staff also failed to mention of where to park to bring up luggage. The day I arrived I dragged my luggage up two flights of stairs. I got the idea from another person that stayed at this dump.

The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. They helped on a number of different occasions with many questions we had. The hotel was writhing 25-20 minute walks from many attractions and around the block from the bus to the airport. The only downside was that our room was a bit damp so towels didn’t dry enough for us to take more advantage of the green opportunities to not change towels each day, overall it is a place we would stay again.

Wonderful Stay! Highly Appreciated!

Our family had wonderful experience in this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff at the reception showed hospitality and warmly welcomed us. She was super nice, so she gave us a very good impression of the hotel.

The hotel room was comfortable, very clean, and tidy. There was a sofa bed. Other hotels usually required us to make the bed ourselves, but Novotel had made the bed tidily for us before we entered the room. There was a coffee maker and a kettle for boiling water for tea in the room as many other hotels do, but the special treat was that the drinks (water, juice, and beer) in the fridge and snacks at the bar were complimentary, as free gifts to customers.

The room was cozy and quiet; the toilet and shower room were clean; the beds were comfortable. All of us slept well.
Our family spent a wonderful night there.

The next morning we went to enjoy the breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The buffet breakfast was excellent:

- a lot of variety of food (scrambled eggs and boiled eggs (you can even boil your own eggs!), sausages, hash browns, bread, Croissant, cheese, milk and cereal, fresh fruits, and my favorite, smoked salmon, tuna, etc.) and

- drinks (coffee maker for making your own coffee, tea, juice, etc.).

Everything was fresh and delicious! We loved the breakfast!

We had a great time there. We wanted to say \"Thank you\" to the staff who welcomed and served us!

On checking in our room wasn’t ready so they gave us a complimentary coffee whilst we waited, we waited around 30 minutes which wasn’t too bad,
We Ordered room service and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had, awful, burnt cheese and no crust? So I wouldn’t order room service if I stayed again, other than that the staff are lovely, the hotel is modern and clean and close to all tourist sites in the city. All round a good stay other than the food and check in time

Dirty Rooms at Novotel Luxembourg

The staff were very nice, however the room was dirty. The luggage rack looked like someone spilled milk shake on it and housekeeping was not able to wipe it. The hot water kettle still had coffee inside. The toilet floor still smelled like pee. The room was non smoking but it smelled like someone had smoked in the room prior to our leaving.

Location of the property is great! Bus to the airport just around the corner, but that's the only positive.

We found silverfish in our room, the TV didn't work but it's the weekend so we can't help you or do we care. There was zero customer service. Having a separate toilet is great but it's inconvenient and unhygienic to have to go to a different room to wash your hands.

Paper cups in the room for hot drinks?! Why? What a waste. These cups aren't really reusable and get thrown away rather than washed.

Overall for a well known branded hotel I was very disappointed and would think twice when booking Novotel again.

Excellent location in the centre of Luxemburg. Conveniently located for to the city centre and there are many bus stops around the property. Main train station is about 15 mins walk away. One bus ride from the airport is all it takes to get to this place.
Staff are very polite and friendly. They treat kids and families well. The breakfast service is excellent for the money.
Definitely recommended.

Fabulous trip

We had a lovely executive room for a family of 4. The room was really clean with some really nice extras. It have us 10% off the food and drink in the hotel restaurant which was a bonus and the food here was really good and convenient so we ate here for 3 nights. The x box was the highlight for the kids and was a great distraction when we wanted some chill time and a beer! The reception staff were very helpful with directions and getting around, we would stay here again. Thank you.

First impressions of the hotel were great, clean and lovely lobby, great neighbourhood, but when we returned to our room we realised how poor the cleaning standards were. We found stains everywhere, on the chairs, walls, and pull out couch. The shower had mould in multiple places. We were only in Luxembourg for one night, so unfortunately by the time we noticed everything it was too late to change rooms as we were leaving early the next morning. When checking out I informed staff about the cleanliness of our room and even offered to show pictures to them, they declined to see them and told me I should have told them about the stains earlier. Other than the cleanliness of the room, the hotel has a lot to offer but the standards of cleanliness were not that of what I'd expect from the Novotel brand and a 4 star hotel.

We found the hotel to be lacking for the price point. The room was okay, but the sleeper couch was uncomfortable, there were stains on the carpet, and the bathroom layout was the weirdest ever. Also the air conditioner was either loudly on or off without much difference, which was a shame since all of the windows are locked closed. Most of the staff was friendly and professional, with the exception of one stern front desk person and one extremely surly attendant at the breakfast service who made that experience unpleasant. The breakfast was quite good, although felt expensive at 25€. And the parking is at a garage next door but there is no guest discount (the garage was yawningly empty and big) and 35€ overnight was ridiculously overpriced. There are no real parking alternatives in the neighborhood so you are stuck with it. Our group appreciated the lobby games, but we would not return to this location.
