The room was a good size with 2 Queen beds, so big enough for the 3 of us.
The beds were comfortable and the shower was warm enough.
The room was clean enough, although one day a pillow had been left without a pillow case.
One practice that was a little surprising was that only 1 bottle was available per room to refill with drinking water. In our room, there were 3 people, myself, my wife and our son. My son prefers still water whilst my wife and I prefer sparkling water. So to meet our preferences, we require 2 separate water bottles. However, this goes against hotel policy of only 1 water bottle per room. It took 2 visits to reception before 2 water bottles were provided. Grateful for 2 water bottles eventually, but hotel policy is questionable regarding 1 bottle per room.

Impressive convenient high end hotel

Amazing decor, contemporary, one of best hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. Amazing breakfast- kids are free with a paying adult, which is great. Top notch restaurant with nice patio. A few blocks to the free tram that runs all the time - to old town or back to airport.

The hotel was spacious and great for the price. There is not much around the hotel, although there are a few good restaurant options. Also, the tram, which is free, is just outside the hotel and takes you into the old part of the town.

Exceptional, the entrance is really classy and welcoming, as we're the staff. They couldn't do enough to accommodate us. The hotel is spacious and the beds were very comfy! It was quiet and in a good location. Plus the bathroom was lush! A few minutes away from the tram which took you straight into the centre :-) thank you for our stay

Very good home base hotel for your luxembourg trip

Very convenient location right across the street from the Philharmonie. Quick tram ride to the old town area. And trams in Luxembourg are free. The room was great, free wifi. Parking right out front. Breakfast buffet a bit over priced. I really liked the large water refill station on the floors.

1 night stay just before Christmas - hotel staff were excellent, was expecting to pay for parking but receptionist suggested I sign up to an ‘Accor Live Limitless’ account which makes parking was free (result!).
Room was a good size but one issue was the hot water in the shower. Even with the temperature turned up as hot as possible the shower water was a little tepid (it was better using the hand held shower rather than the rose in the ceiling…….but would expect better). Also the air conditioning did not seem to react to changing temperature on the thermostat - ended up sleeping with the window open to cool the room down.
Breakfast was excellent & appreciated the free coffee & filtered water facility available as you exit the lift to your floor (I assume this is replicated throughout the hotel).
Did not have time to use any other facilities.

After problems with the original accommodation that we had booked (which wasn't Novotel), it was a relief to be greeted by such friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and very comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal for exploring Luxembourg. The centre was easily accessible by tram, or via a very nice walk through the old fort. My kids loved it!

Hotel is good but its restaurant and reception are going through refurbishment, meaning that entrance is only accessible by stairs (not great for baby strollers). Breakfast and dinning options available at nearby hotels. Overall good, but would prefer to return after the refurbishment.

Everyone here is so welcoming, friendly and accommodating to your needs and wants. It’s clean, spacious, and peaceful and it's close to shopping centres with plenty of food options. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit and stay here; it's also easy to navigate as a foreigner who speaks English (and if you speak French or German)

Hello This was my fourth visit to this hotel,
It is a convenient stop off for our motoring holiday
I booked as usual and then got an email from the hotel saying the restaurant was closed and the bar was shut
The booking could not be cancelled at this point. I was extremely dissatisfied,and there was also very few parking places as the area round the front was being renovated

Room very warm in the morning and the air-conditioning never worked as expected. Asked to check twice, nothing changed. Moved to another room, they called Executive room, but was the same type of room, air-conditioning also not working as well and the bad was really uncomfortable.
Too expensive to what can provide in terms of comfort.

This hotel was not my first choice due to its location further away from the city center. However, all of the central area hotels were fully booked over 6 months in advance for the summer of 2022. The plusses of the Novatel were its own restaurant, the surrounding hotels and their restaurants, and the nearby Infinity shopping area and its restaurants. The other saving grace was the easy access to the free Tram about 1.5 blocks from the hotel. This hotel, and the surrounding hotels have a very heavy corporate feel and look to them. And I understand the logic of this location and the EU area that it caters to. If I was in Luxembourg on business, the Novatel would probably be one of my top choices. But I was visiting Luxembourg for part of my vacation and all of these surrounding hotels and the Novatel were like staying next door to my office in downtown San Diego. It just reminded me of being at work and not on vacation--not the hotels' fault just circumstance.

The most wonderful thing is the Staff friendliness from reception, to cleaners and the restaurant. Well located place easy to catch tram back and forth. I will definitely recommend. We had minor problem with squeaking door when we reported immediately got fixed.

Great choice for Luxembourg stay

The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had to make a last minute travel change, as our flight was unexpectedly cancelled, and the hotel was able to book us in our same room for one additional night, at the same rate we had paid. Very accommodating. The hotel itself is also very close to the tram, which made getting around the city very easy.

Perfection how a hotel should be

We did have a little trouble finding the hotel as it was tucked in behind other hotels and probably because it was late at night .
When we did arrive at reception the gentleman at the desk was so helpful and pleasant it wonderful after a full day of traveling.
The room was super . It was very large fantastic TV but remote probably needed new batteries as it wouldn't work .
The beds were so comfortable,the shower was great the towels so soft . The temperature in the room was perfect . The maids were so pleasent . Lifts were gorgeous. The quick checkout was great especially at 6.30 in the morning .Everything about the hotel was just wonderful.
We will definitely be staying here again . Highly recommended . Staff are a real credit to you

Pretty good hotel in Kirchberg

Decent \"business\" hotel in the Kirchberg district. We were there for holiday but it's clear what the typical clientele for this is. Location is good for both tourists and probably also for people who are there for work. It seemed a little bit understaffed but the staff were always friendly. Hotel itself is nice and clean but a little bit sterile and soulless.

The Hotel was conveniently located next to the tram station with underground parking. The hotel was clean including lobby and our room. Staff were very friendly and dealt with the queries with a smile on their face and genuinely wanted to provide best customer experience.

Wonderful Stay!

We enjoyed our stay! Visited Luxembourg for the weekend with some friends and we loved our stay. The rooms are not as modern as the main area/lobby, but they provide enough space and appeared clean. The staff was amazing-professional and friendly. We laughed and chatted with both the breakfast staff and late night bistro staff. Everyone we encountered wore a smile and was extremely pleasant to talk to. Although not in the heart of the city, I would stay here again. The metro line was close, so that made it easy to tour the main sites.

Awesome place to stay when you visit Luxembourg. It’s a very nice, modern hotel that is designed around comfort. Morning breakfast is one the best that you get in the hotel. If not enough, hotel staff is one of the most polite and helpful that I have seen in any place. Two thumbs up!!👍

Do not state you have a/c if you are not willing to turn it on. It was not broken and spoke with staff and said it was to early. Opened the small window and woken up by construction across the street every morning at 630am due to construction. The beds were not comfortable at all. And the location is out of the way. But the restaurant inside the hotel is amazing! The main reason for the low score is the a/c. Be honest if you only have it on during certain monthes.

The Kirchberg area was very quiet on the weekends but an easy 15 min journey to the city was easy enough via the bus and trams.

Novotel Luxembourg Kirchberg experience

We drove from UK on our way to Switzerland so we made stop in Luxembourg.we arrived quite late around 22.30. front desk staff was very friendly. Checked in the room was very spacious and clean. TV remote was not working due to rusty 🔋 so I called the receptionist and immediately got replacement one. The toiletries were just enough for one person. We are family of 4. Two adults and two children. I expect the hotel to provide enough toiletries based on the number of guests. Then the shower holer was broken it does not stay up right. I stayed in many hotels a cross Europe the standard is different but I expect same standard across Novotel.

This hotel was really nice and clean, beds were comfy too. Stayed only for a night but the hotel was very nice. Man at reception was very helpful, giving us directions to landmarks and how to use public transport. Would stay here again. Heating worked well and full use of the fridge, safe and kettle in the room.

Nice hotel, not the best Novotel I’ve been too rooms verging on outdate and super basic. Service was really good, food and drinks quite pricey. Overall I’d stay again but only for a 1-2 night stay. Easy access to Luxembourg City on the tram.

Really comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful reception staff that were able to advise us about the city and attractions, as well as the free to use trams just 2 minute walk away (free this summer). Very modern rooms and excellent breakfast buffet. Would have given 5 out of 5 but there is building work next door that got going at about 7:00am and couldn’t get English Breakfast tea at breakfast time.

Wonderful new hotel

Wonderful new hotel in the new and exciting area of Luxembourg. Very modern, comfortable rooms, great service, delicious food at the restaurant and easy and reasonably priced parking. There is not much around the hotel (however, there is Modern Arts museum and symphony within walking distance) as the area is being developed, but the tram literally outside of the hotel takes you to the old town and all the attractions in under 10 minutes. Will stay again and highly recommend!
