Get the 4 bus from gare or hamilus to parc d europe- few min walk to hotel and can see the hotel when get off bus. Free cookie on arrival is a nice touch. Pool only open certain hours not all day. Clean room

I booked this hotel for my best friends birthday and the experience we had was very negative.

The hotel staff were very unfriendly and not helpful. Our keycard only worked once in the whole trip and would have to keep coming to the front desk to get the card reactivated but the staff would act like we were bothering them.

After going to the 9th floor and the key not working on arrival, the house keeper let us in the room. However, once she opened the door she told us that the room only had one bed and that wasn’t right and we should have 2 separate beds, implying that we were lesbians and started sighing. This is shocking behavior and was not expected to be discriminated in this way. The room bed was not a queen bed like suggested in the booking but a double bed at best.

The room was also dirty.

The pool changing room had been moped and there was no signage that the floor was wet and was a hazard.

A very bad experience and would not book again.

Not deaf friendly….no closed captions in English for deaf travelers to chill and relax for TV programs in English

The meals for breakfast is fine. Dinner menu can improve for long term travelers eating. Alternate menu for each day like Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. Be more creative.

Poor communication when Christmas Eve and Christmas dinners required reservation in advance or i go hungry!! Communication can improved by printing special announcement posted in an evelators or outside

Staff didn’t pick up room service trays overnight. Staff knocked on door and asked to clean our room when we hung a “Later, Please” sign from the door handle. Sign was removed. Cookies were plentiful. The hotel is a 30-minute bus ride from the train station. Buses run every 30 minutes.

Hotel was clean , the hotel looks a little tired and could do with updating in certain areas the carpets in hallways and rooms looked well worn and not fresh.
The rooms were fairly clean cobwebs in the bathroom and old food from previous guests in the fridge and the lounge chair was dirty and had large holes in the covers ,
Lots of chips on corners of furniture , windows was also stained on the inside of the double glazed unit obscuring the view.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
One thing that was annoying was no mention when booking there was no parking , only parking which was payable on arrival no mention of this .
Overall not a bad place to stay but a little disappointed

Football visit, again!

Staff were friendly, pool was refreshing and breakfast was good. I was given wrong information about the bus prior to travel but checked it myself. I was charged for the room even though I had already paid through Hotels.com. I got it resolved eventually, it was disappointing to find that paying the hotel was £10 cheaper than what I had been charged!

Found the property a bit out of town although free bus services helpful the roin was comfortable, until I woke up to find i was covered in bed bug bites from the neck down spoke to reception they could not have been nicer and told me that my room would be complementary on my way to my next destination i got notification my card was debit the cost of room

I stayed with my family. Room was a bit tight but we stayed only one night so it was fine with us. Check-in was fast and easy, staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed complimentary cookies and one night free parking. 10 min drive to sightseeing. Overall great experience, we enjoyed it.

Nice property great staff but power went out around 8am May 24th. Which means people had to take the stairs. Which means we had to carry 5 bags of luggage down stairs. Very very painful. Doesn't seem like backup generators are part of the system at this hotel. It was a nightmare scenario. Some people complained no one came to your room or called BUT IMO what were they gomna say Hey the powers out! DUH! Overall the hotels nice

I stay here often and in general it's a good hotel for business purposes.
I like the beds and bedlinen a lot.
Breakfast is good.
Staff at Reception are always polite and friendly.
Parking is no worry either.

The gym and shower area may need some attention. At the time of my visit there were no clean towels (a sign said to get them at the pool, but the pool area was closed), Reception upstairs were very kind and gave me one immediately. The shower area had dirty towels scattered everywhere.

Stay was ok. Room was clean - but things like the mirror was dusty. The thing that brought my review down was a simple thing - i asked if we can have some waters in the room, something every other hotel in the world does. I was told because i booked on hotels.com, they don’t give bottles of water in the room. The only place to buy them was at the bar, 6 euros each. I questioned it and was told ‘i know, it’s weird’. For a hotel like Hilton, i’d expect better.

I had high expectations from this hotel, given its four-star rating and affiliation with DoubleTree, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.

Firstly, the heating system was frustratingly rigid. Despite attempting to adjust the temperature, it was locked at 23 degrees, leaving no control over personal comfort. For a hotel of this standard, this is unacceptable.

Additionally, the location is far from the city center with no eateries or amenities nearby, which makes it inconvenient for travelers. The building itself is showing its age and no longer meets the usual DoubleTree standards.

The most upsetting part of our stay was the issue with the taxi booking. We asked the hotel to book a taxi to the station, and they assured us the fare would be a maximum of 25 euros. However, the taxi driver charged us 49 euros—nearly double! This felt like a scam, and if the hotel cannot ensure fair pricing, I would have preferred to book an Uber or another web taxi, both of which showed prices closer to 25 euros.

To make matters worse, when we tried calling the hotel to resolve this issue, no one picked up. This lack of responsiveness is highly unprofessional and only added to our frustration.

Overall, the experience lacked the trust and quality one would expect from a four-star DoubleTree hotel. I would not recommend staying here until these issues are addressed.

I would expect more for a Hilton.

In general it wasn’t a bad stay, although the hotel looks as if it is in need of refurbishment. The indoor pool was far too cold (for us), the breakfast was a standard breakfast although when we asked for orange juice 15 minutes before breakfast ends, we were told that they ran out of it (?!). We also found one day the door of our room open, although nothing was missing. We reported it back to reception and they said they would inform housekeeping about the incident, although this happened hours after the housekeeping had been in our room.
They couldn’t accept my loyalty with Hilton, although everywhere else I go and ask them to add it to my booking they gladly do. I know I wouldn’t get any points but they normally add the nights and I have a free breakfast, it may be different policy in different countries which I understand. We had not booked breakfast, but it looks like the price varies from 15€/person up to 40€/person, depending the day (at least this was what we were told when we were asking to pay for breakfast the night before). On weekdays is more expensive on weekends is cheaper.
If I visit Luxembourg again, I reckon I would try finding another place to be honest, even if I had to pay more.

Only one person for check-in, while about ten persons were waiting. It took us half and hour to get our two rooms, after the person in charge sternly said that we only
booked one room. She finally understood she was wrong but did not apologize at all. The check-out was barely better than the check-in, with again only one person available. The parking was convenient, but it did not provide receipt (no ink) and here again the person in charge did not help, at all.

This hotel is big and when I stayed there, quite the hub of activity in the restaurant and bar. I took the bus there to and from the airport, which took awhile, but worked out well. The bus is free. My room was super quiet and very comfortable. Staff gave me a warm chocolate chip cookie when I arrived. A nice treat!

The night I stayed the restaurant offered only a buffet for 35 euro a person. Way too expensive. Not worth it.

Details missed and not that convenient.

Shower head bracket was missing and was just left hanging on the shower pole. Obviously someone knew and just couldn't be bothered to fix it. Took two calls and a day to get it fixed. Location is well out of town (7km) so it's not that convenient unless you drive. The elevator is also the slowest in the world meaning you sometimes need to wait for several to pass by as they will always be full of irritated customers.
