The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful! Free transportation by bus to town center at the hotel’s doorstep is a true gift from Luxembourg to its visitors and residents. It’s a beautiful city and we enjoyed the food and ambiance of the city!

Easy access to town centre, on two main bus lines, opposite a lovely Brasserie, Pizza Place and Chinese place. Very quiet area.

Very nice service from front desk, always smiling and polite.

The only drawback was that the air conditioning did not work very well, so overnight it became rather hot.

Would go back there, for sure.

It is a lovely clean hotel. The rooms are very clean and stylish with comfortable beds. The staff are wonderfully friendly. It is a good location, not central, but within an easy, free, direct bus ride to central Luxembourg City.

The negatives are the bar prices, and that it doesn't do food. There was not much of an offering locally. They do breakfast, which i didn't try.

Really nice hotel for a short stay in Luxembourg. Outside of the city centre but with a bus stop right outside the hotel and frequent buses. There's a nic boulangerie nearby where you can have breakfast. Rooms are modern with large beds and smart tvs. Would book again if visiting Luxembourg. Good value for money.

Good value hotel in a quiet neighbourhood.

Clean and well-equipped room. Staff were friendly. Shower had good pressure. Location, although not in city centre, is very convenient with bus stops just outside the hotel. Bus 9 took us to and from city centre while bus 7 took us to and from the Central Train station.
Nearby is an Italian restaurant (Lunik) if you crave for a good and hot plate of pasta. 5-10mins walk from the hotel.

Our stay at the Mercure was excellent. Luxembourg was our final stop and the Mercure provided a perfect stay for us to rest up for the long flight home.

I’d like to address the ease of the bus system in Luxembourg as the hotel staff explained it to us and we were able to move around the city with such ease.

Thank you! We will certainly recommend and return if the opportunity arises.

I enjoyed my stay at the Mercure. Lovely room ... wine available in the bar ... small fridge and there is a grocery store within 20 minute walk. Public transportation is free and there is a #9 bus stop in front of the hotel which goes to the train station.

Very helpful staff, a good, comfortable and convenient hotel for Luxembourg. The hotel is off Kirchberg but with Lux's very convenient (and free) bus & tram service its very easy to get everywhere. The bar area was good, my room was very spacious, clean and well maintained.

Fabulous Luxembourg gem

A beautiful modern hotel a little bit out of the way of the city centre, but has a bus stop literally at the front door for free and frequent access to the city.
A comfortable stay and very friendly staff at reception, bar and breakfast room.
Restaurants in the area are also lovely and friendly, with the Asian restaurant across the street highly recommended.

Choose a different hotel

Decent hotel but horrible service. Staff entered our room at 8am without knocking or announcing while we were sleeping despite having a noon checkout. The managers in the reception blamed it all on poor cleaning maids instead of taking responsibility and arguing with me.

Great location, comfortable, modern. I could do with bathroom doors for privacy. While our receptionist on Saturday night was excellent, we were not so impressed with the customer service at check-out. The receptionist was obviously very upset with kids being kids!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a much nicer area than the pictures indicate. You can literally step outside and catch the number 7 or 9 bus to the city - which is free and a short ride.

The rooms are modern, immaculate and boutique style but not too small.

Our stay at the hotel

Our stay at the newly built hotel was good.
Now to what we would have expected from a 4 star hotel is couple of chairs to relax or was it expected that one sits all the time on our bed.
Secondly the morden bath which is.a open one is good when one is alone in the room or for a couple not when one is sharing even with one,s sister.
Because of these pionts the 5 stars were not given.
Now as to if we will come again to this hotel the answer is yes for it is opposite the apartment of our daughter

Le personnel d’accueil est plus que décevant. Boite désagréable.
Le personnel du petit déjeuner en revanche est plus que parfaitement attentionné ( merci Ines )
Le personnel de ménage qui tape à la chambre à 9h du matin in dimanche plus que moyen … couchés tard nous aurions adoré faire la grasse matinée 😡
Pas de changement de verre sur trois nuits et pour le papier toilette nous sommes allés le chercher nous même. La clim ne fonctionnait pas. ( et il faisait 31 degrés au Lux !) pas de parking et il est finalement assez compliqué de se garer dans le coin même au mois d’août !
En revanche lit de bonne qualité et petit déjeuner agréable.

Rigtig fint og hyggeligt hotel med spa vibe. Personalet var søde og venlige og meget hjælpsomme. Rigtig dejlig morgenmadsbuffet.
Værelset var fint, til den lille side til 4 personer, og der var ikke dør for til badet, så hele familien kan følge med når man er i bad, det skal man lige være forberedt på.
Toilettet var for sig selv.

Perfect for a relax stay

It was a very good stay, the room was a bit small but the bathroom spacious. It has amenities such as coffee and herbal teas. The breakfast has several options but the coffee from the coffee machine could be better.
In general we enjoy our stay! I recommend you to take the bus instead of tram if you don’t want to walk.
