Travel on public transport throughout Luxembourg is brilliant and free. Park your car at this hotel and never touch it until you leave. Facilities are very good, food a little expensive, but get yourself out and about and return later for a relaxing swim etc. Rooms are of good size and comfortable without having to be too clever or modern including mini fridge and safe in room. Breakfast will last you all day, if you want, and your body can take it, with good all round selection. Car park is huge, but can get busy as they hold many large events.

I asked for a double bed and was given 2 singles put together which was really uncomfortable.
There was no tea/coffee facilities in the room.
The toiletries were really basic with one liquid for shower and one for hand wash.
The towels were rough and need replacing.

Overall it was really basic.

There was a lot of building work going on outside the hotel which was a shame, but inside the hotel was lovely. Check in was very slow as there was only 1 person checking people in, which for a large hotel with a big event going on while we were there, isn't very good. Public transport in Luxembourg is free, and there is a very convenient bus stop outside the hotel to get into the city centre.

The hotel was in a ideal place to catch the bus into the city and free. Great staff and friendly too. The outside pool was very busy but only a few sun loungers. I was disappointed with the lack of tea /coffee facilities in the room , most basic hotels provide this. I would return .

All in all a good one. I particularly recommend this hotel for a summer stay, with the lovely outdoor pool, but the indoor one and the sauna were also nice.
Unlike in most big hotels, the windows could be opened in the room, I appreciated the fresh air instead of the usual AC.
The room itself was in order, nothing special, clean, but a proper desk with a good chair and a kettle to make tea would have been nice.

Maids Enter Room without Permission

We had a terrible experience here; the hotel and room itself was nice but the service and issues we had made it very stressful.

We were here 3 nights (full two days). We put the DND sign on the door and the maids entered our room both days and rummaged through our things. Moved our stuff around including dirty clothes and toiletries. It was such an invasion of privacy. We complained to the front desk the first day and were reassured it wouldn’t happen again and then it happened again the 2nd day. It was clear the maids were looking for something or checking out our things. Very disturbing.

We complained to the front desk again - of course they said the manager wasn’t in until the next morning. The next morning we tried to speak to the manager and she refused to speak to us. They comped us two waters worth $14 euros for our “inconvenience”.

That was the worst part. The other part was, this place is on the outskirts of town in the hills which is a beautiful setting, however, there is nothing in walking distance and there is no room service and the one restaurant closes at weird hours leaving you stranded for eating options.

I give the food an \"excellent\" but I can't rate any higher overall for several reasons. The bathroom: who knows if the toilet brush placed (why?) next to the toilet has been sanitized; the deck behind the shower floods with water, even flows onto the bathroom floor, no grab bar, insufficient towels to soak it up, and lastly the opaque with clear slots door. the bed: so soft on the edge that I fell out onto the floor in the middle of the night and hit my head on the bedside shelf. no concussion, just a stiff neck. Other aspects very good.

Lots of parking. We arrived before check in opened but were able to leave our car while we visited the city. The bus stops right outside the hotel and, like all public transport in Luxembourg, it’s free. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The weather was good, so we were able to sit out on the very pleasant terrace for a drink. Staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel is used for conferences and coach tours, so there may be a wait at reception at times.

The place is large and clean, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the bus comes every half an hour and some times an hour so you have to make your schedule, its not too far from the center its about 6 stops, 20 mns
Its a good value of money anyways

Nice hotel, staff did not go out of their way to speak English or speak, at all, which is disappointing after a 9 day stay
. Pool, sauna very nice. Gym small, but nice. Did not use massage services. Nice walking trail behind property. Restaurants limited around the property, almost 2 mi away. Breakfast good, but would have liked crepe, waffle, omelette station for the price.

* hotel allows pets which is fine but should NOT be allowed inside the dining area out of its cage & barking. Ruined my dinner!

Terrible experience not even a two star hotel. There was a 50 people line to make check in. Charge us 80 usd deposit of minibar per room. Room terrible near Pool and vending machine. Bed were two single’s together not a king as I request. Minibar with very expensive princess 5 euros for a 200ml still water. Bar closes at 11 no breakfast after 10 am. Not upgrade as was communicated. Near hotel you don’t have nothing. Need to take a bus that’s always full of people and goes only 1 per hour. Taxi was 60 euros for a 5 min trip. This is definetly not a 4.5 star hotel. That’s false and will never staying again there. I prefer to pay 200 euros more for a good Sofitel or Meliá.

Such a beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean. Great choice of facilities that are free for hotel guests. The cocktails were fantastic, the breakfast was delicious and a great variety of fresh foods. Easy parking and a bus stop just outside the hotel, with free public transport on weekends it was even more convenient to get around. Luxembourg City is beautiful and this hotel made our stay even more enjoyable, we will definitely be back!

They didn’t have a kettle in the room so you can make yourself a cup of tea. No complimentary water bottle in the room.

As a British tourist I am offended by this.

Other than this the room was clean, the cleaning ladies were exceptional and they ought to be recognised.

Travelling all day by car from London I asked if they could store my dog's unopened sealed packaged frozen food in the ice box in their large fridge which they had room for but refused saying due to covid. I offered to sanitise the whole ice box and still no. I pleaded saying with the warm weather and another day of driving, the food will go off and still no sympathy. So was not pleased at all. The towels supplied were thin and small, the type you expect in a Travel Inn/Holiday Inn chain. Surprised no tea/coffee making facility. The fridge in the room was warm. Pool was not open but I noticed a sign that pool and spa was extra. Good thing was the large tree area at the back to walk the dog. Certainly would not return

A good 3-star hotel except for the bed

It's a good 3-star hotel. The staff was pleasant, and the food was fine. The only thing that I didn't like were the beds as all were twin beds. That is, a double bed was simply two twins pushed together - not comfortable.

Generally everything was great. Staff was really friendly. Lots of options onsite. My one disappointment was that the massage and salon are closed on Sunday and Mondays. I really wanted to take advantage of this but we were out and about Saturday so we never had the chance. Location to city center is perfect. About a 5 min drive.

Good facilities although a little too busy (e.g. pool) due to number of guests. Location was good for going to Vianden and Echternach, though not so great for going to Luxembourg city. Staff are friendly and helpful and our room was nice and clean. Only complaint would be the pillows which are oddly small.

In room coffee and Facebook— didn’t happen

I enjoy my quiet time in the morning with a cup of coffee and a quick look at Facebook. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn’t have coffee makers in the room and I wasn’t able to get a good connection on WiFi for my iPad to look at Facebook. That is my only negative about this hotel. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and the view of the forest behind us was beautiful.

Nice clean bigger type hotel, the pool, steam room and sauna were just what we needed after 5 nights of walking around medieval cobblestone towns and drinking good Belgium and French beer and wine. The restaurant served a real nice dinner at a fair price, although, like everywhere we visited it wasn’t possible to find a good cup of good coffee.

Lovely, Large clean rooms, delicious breakfast, clean pool. My only wish was to have a kettle in the room, we arrived late following a long journey from England and wanted a hot drink before bed, there is no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms and you don’t always want to order room service for things like this. Otherwise great stay and we would return again.

Great location in the woods near town. Little things let it down such as no shampoo in the bathroom, room cleaned with the do not disturb sign on the door, only one staff member on the counter at check out resulting in a long wait.
Staff were friendly and the character of the hotel is great.

The hotel facilities were very good. When we arrived they upgraded our room which was a nice surprise. However, on our first day there I had a cold and a bad headache so I asked for paracetamol or pain killers at the reception, but they did not have any. When I got to the room I wanted a cup of tea or hot water to sooth my sore throat, they did not have a kettle and hot water could only be ordered at the bar for 1 Euro. The next day when I was slightly better, my boyfriend and I used the sauna and steam rooms which was very relaxing. He enjoyed both of swimming pools too.

Terrible hotel, no worth your money

The staff so unfriendly, and unhelpful. No coffee machine or hot water for a tea in the room. The beds were terrible, they are sinking beds! So uncomfortable. I didn’t have a shampoo nor conditioner, no hand soup, no shower cap, no ear cotton tips. This hotel does not deserve to be a 4-star hotel, and the price isn’t worth the service.

Hotel is an expensive taxi ride from the center of the city (local bus is also available). The room was quite large but lacking in comfort (soggy single beds pushed together), shower water went everywhere, not enough counter space near sink to place personal toiletries, and staff don't seem very happy in general.

Unique is that I went to school with the owners in Weimerskirch in 1961.....location is great and reaching the city or nature is within grasps....

Room left some thing to desired: fridge not working properly and some critters...the critter problem was solved fast and effective.
