Lovely little hotel. There's no air conditioning and my room above the road at the front was noisy with the window open, but those were the only downsides. The room was comfy and spacious, the staff are very nice, the lobby is impressive and luxurious, and the breakfast selection is amazing! Great location too. Would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was very quiet with a lovely park just behind it. It’s in a convenient location, around 20mins walk from the city centre, or a very short bus journey with the bus stop just outside. The decor is a little dated but perhaps they want to keep its unique style, though it is well kept and very clean. Our only negative was regarding the shower in our room, which had the shower head in the centre of the bath and no shower screen, though not a major problem.

The staff was nice and really tried.

The room was very hot at night, and there was no air conditioning to speak of. They gave us a fan to help deal with it.

We had breakfast at the hotel one morning which cost €25 and the service was abysmal, and they were out of a lot of the food and slow to replace it. There was one woman running it and she was completely overrun.

This is not the hotel’s fault but there are not a ton of dining options in the area.

Disappointing Stay Due to Cold Rooms and Poor Serv

We stayed at this hotel for five days, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but very cold. The heating was insufficient, especially on the top floor where we stayed initially. In the bathroom, the only source of heat was an infrared bulb, which barely managed to warm the space. The biggest issue was the shower. On several days, we had to endure cold showers, which was extremely unpleasant. Even after we were moved to a different room, it was still cold, and the problem with hot water persisted. To make matters worse, on the last night, the staff left the windows wide open in our new room, and we returned to find it freezing cold. While the hotel is in a quiet location, this does not compensate for the lack of adequate heating, hot water, and attentive service. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable, and we cannot recommend this hotel, especially during colder months.

The property is dated and in desperate need for renovation. Parking spaces in the garage are tight. Cleanliness is ok. Authone, the receptionist, is welcoming and helpful.

This was our first time in Luxembourg and we couldnt have picked a better place to stay. The centre was walkable in 15 minutes and the neighbourhood was quiet, safe and friendly. The park behind the hotel was an amazing bonus.

The hotel was overall nice however we paid for a park view and were given a room on the ground floor with very little view/no balcony. We essentially viewed the roof. We tried to complain but were told no other rooms were available. We also had to wait in a 25 minute line to check in (we were exhausted from a long flight so that didn’t help). It wasn’t the single staff member who was workings fault, however you’d think they would have more than one staff member checking guests in when a long line forms.

Lovely stay.

Excellent help from the customer service team, especially at check in and checkout. Pillows weren’t very comfy but there was a service to change them for a fee - would have preferred to be supplied with comfy pillows to begin with. View was fantastic and amenities were all there. Breakfast was nice and in a lovely setting.

If you don’t want to be on the first floor hearing traffic noise, book a park view. Travelocity customers get the worst rooms. It was hot, but we couldn’t open the windows because of traffic noise. There isn’t any AC so they told us we were welcome to buy a fan. We even asked to change rooms and pay the difference, they didn’t allow that.

Great staff who seems to be happy to assist. Hotel is in great condition except that we could hear the elevator noise at all hours (except in the night. We requested a different room and they gladly gave me a quieter room on our second night of our four-night stay. The new room certainly was quieter but we could still hear the noise coming from the elevator though it was less. Breakfast was ok not great.

The hotel is very stylish, and the room I had very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. The only thing marginally negative is I had a room over looking the front of the hotel which was fairly noisy. Apart from that was a very nice stay and I would definitely use the hotel again,

The hotel room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is dated maybe 25 years. The staff acted indifferent. The fitness center is really non existent They charge 15 Euros to use the dry sauna. The elevators are very noisy even though I was down the hall. I borrowed adapter that came from a drawer of adapters left by previous guests. It didn’t work for me so I returned it but I found a charge for an adapter on my account. They did delete when I asked them

Quiet hotel in residential area

A pleasant hotel in a quiet area but be aware that you are a long way from the city so it is a taxi ride to find any bars or restaurants. The hotel bar is uninteresting and doesn't entice you to want to stop. There is a bistro attached to the hotel but was shut when we got back at 10pm wanting a nightcap. My room was next door in what seemed to be a guest house with very creaky floors and those irritating timed light switches. I slightly felt that I was in someones house. A beautiful room with high ceilings and an outside area with sun loungers and seating overlooking the park.

We liked the setting with a view of the park from our balcony. It was a nice day and some of our neighbors were on their balconies also which had no screening between them if that matters to you. Bed was good and we liked the bathroom with a solid door to close. Only complaint was that the pillows were quite flat and they had no other kind. They said we could have additional pillows but they were all the same underfilled things. Breakfast was an additional 20 euros per person so we didn't eat there. There is a nice restaurant next door where we had lunch on our last day.

The location was convenient. The room was clean and modern but small. The shower capsule was too narrow. The room did not have air conditioner, it was hot and we kept the door to the park open. It was very noisy and difficult to sleep.

No air conditioning which spoilt the stay in otherwise a comfortable hotel. Booked through Expedia who listed air-conditioning as part of hotel facilities. :(
Staff were more interested in chatting at the bar with off duty staff and serving them. We were the only customers in the bar. We had to wait 15 minutes for 2 drinks. Reception staff also seemed dis-interested. Additionally, the design of the door from the bar into the kitchen means you can see straight into the kitchen, again a number of off duty staff chatting, there is quite a delay in the door closing which was very distracting when you are trying to have a relax. I'm sure something could be done to rectify this. Unfortunately it led us to eat and drink elsewhere for the rest of the stay.

The hotel is lovely, the staff really friendly and a good location- 15-20 min walk to the centre. The only downside is that there is no air con or ceiling fan in the room, the window opens wide but there is a lot of noise from the road.

Our Delux room faced a very busy/ noisy street. With no AC you had to either open the window and put up with the noise or close it and be too warm. Room had two single beds pushed together. These slide apart easily and are not ideal for a couples getaway. The room also had a large area that had no furniture. This meant the large room wasn’t as comfortable as you would expect.
The “deep soaking” tub was not even a regular full sized bath tub. Despite paying extra for a room with a tub it was not used due to being so small/ shallow.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was ok. Overall this hotel was very disappointing for the price point.

We booked for a weekend and drove down. The hotel is very easy to drive to. The staff were excellent as was the room and the food in the Bistro we loved.

It is an easy 20 minute walk from the city centre, I recommend taking an open bus trip if you have not been there before.

Not a perfect stay, but as near as could be

Went for a weekend trip. This hotel seemed to be a good choice via reviews. Every aspect of the hotel was, for me, perfect. Until the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Seems they were having some issues and about half of the menu, or at least anything which interested me, was not available. The hotel took care of this disturbance though when I checked out. If there is one thing missing, it is the lack of surrounding area places to eat.

Smelly room and corridor.

I arrived late in the evening due to a flight delay. The room was on the 2nd floor, the hallway had a musty/damp sort of smell, and this was also present in the room. As it was so late and the smell was just about tolerable I decided not to complain and ask for another room (I guessed that as the hotel was probably full this would be a waste of time anyway). The next day I was out all day and didn't return until late in the evening, as I was very tired I decided I could tolerate the smell for one last night. I had the window wide open anyway, because it was hot and the room had no aircon.

When I checked out they asked me about my stay so I told them about the smell. They said they \"would make a note of it\". They did not express any surprise at all or enquire for any further details - so they obviously knew about it. This last fact really irritated me, and would lead me to not recommend this hotel.

One last thing, on the second night when I got back to the room I couldn't open the door. When I asked at reception they told me they had changed the locks on that floor - and didn't warn me they were doing it, they just let me find out the hard way.

Perfect stay in serene location

I really, really, really loved this hotel. I had the opportunity to book a suite on the back side of the hotel, facing the park, and it was an outstanding stay for 4 nights. I arrived from the US so it was important to have something where I could rest well right away. The park-facing rooms were so quiet and the only noise came from lots of birds chirping, it was so pleasant! The internet connection was good too, and so were the breakfast and dinner choices. The room has no AC, but I am not typically bothered by that. I would definitely stay there again and in the same room.

Excellent hotel and fantastic staff

We had two separate stays at the hotel in the same week. The hotel staff were fantastic in sorting everything out and storing our luggage while we went to Bruge for a few days.
Both rooms we were allocated were excellent. Comfortable, clean and just what we needed.
The hotel restaurant is very good and the breakfast was fine.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Try for a coupon...

Consecutive nights at $110 would be about right. Walk to tourist area may be a little long for some--but well worth it as you trace a couple parks and the amazing cataract of a valley that this \"Gibraltar of the North\" is laid out on. Moms, best intro country for your daughters....French laws and german obedience. Hotel is against a park...but don't think that makes it quiet during the day! Trampoline school is right outside your window. If you're driving the free 24hr P+R is about a half-mile away.

As soon as I walked into this hotel I knew it was special. The decor had been thoughtfully chosen to almost bring the park indoors. There was a general feeling of calm. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and everything worked perfectly in the bathroom. (Lovely soft towels)The receptionist was very helpful and tried very hard to ensure we had a great stay. Breakfast was fresh and plentyful. I loved the matching teaset. It was just the attention to detail that impressed. Just two very minor negatives - parking underneath the building was a little pricey but at least you knew the car was safe and I wasn't keen on the bistro belonging to the hotel. They seemed to get my order wrong but hey maybe I wasn't very clear. It was a 15 minute walk into the centre but it was a pleasant stroll. Luxembourg is a fantastic place and really worth a visit.

Overall the hotel is very nice and comfortable. Room was very clean, bed comfortable and breakfast good.. There is no air conditioning, however the windows open for additional air if needed. There was no desk in my room to work at, just a very small table. I had the lowest price room, so maybe others have a desk in them. I would simply ask for a room with one if staying on business. Next to the park which is very nice and walking distance to the city center. Hotel restaurant across the street is very good and wait staff is great.

A vista do nosso quarto era para um parque. Talvez uma das únicas coisas que eu poderia ressaltar de positivo. A limpeza do box do banheiro não era satisfatória. O atendimento tivemos problemas, pois o quarto já estava pago e mesmo assim fizeram uma pré autorização no cartão de crédito no valor da diária, além do valor do depósito exigido. Se no momento do check in fosse consultado o pagamento isso teria se resolvido e não seríamos pré cobrados. Os demais funcionários foram cordiais conosco. A taxa do estacionamento do hotel era alta. Recomendo com essas restrições.

Okay hotel, men plads til forbedring

Okay hotel og restarant. Men der er mange der har husdyr med, så hvis du lider af allergi så tænk en ekstra gang. Vi måtte skifte værelse. Personalet er flinke og service minded. Beliggenhed er lige en halv times gang fra hotellet.

L’hôtel classique mais confortable et bien placé

+ quartier tres sympa, proche d’un parc
+ 10-15 mins au centre ville avec un bus
+ personnel sympathique
+ chambre deluxe es vraiment spacieuse et chic
+ l’hôtel n’est pas super moderne mais il a du charme

- choix de chaînes de télé plutôt limite (surtout chaînes DE et pas de programmes info)
- sdb un peu vieillot (mais très propre)
- en peu cher, même pour Luxembourg

Skønt, elegant og behageligt hotel

Hotellet var et af højdepunkterne på min todages tur i Luxembourg City. Det tager kun ca. 15 min. at gå herfra til centrum og kun 5 min. med bus (og at køre med offentlig transport er jo gratis her - woop). Personalet, værelset og morgenmaden var i top - jeg nød virkelig at spise morgenmad både i det flotte indendørs- og udendørsområde. Og det gjorde heller ikke spor, at hotellets \"baghave\" er den fineste park, hvor man kan gå eller løbe en lille tur, købe en is og slappe af eller kigge på skildpadderne og fiskene i den lille sø.
Det eneste minus for mig var, at jeg og den søde mexicanske familie, jeg ventede sammen med, ikke kunne få lov til at tjekke ind med det samme, fordi receptionisten fik det dårligt og først blev afløst af en kollega ca. 20 min. senere. Det er helt forståeligt, men det havde været rart, hvis der havde været en anden receptionist til stede fra begyndelsen, eller hvis en af de andre medarbejdere kunne have hjulpet. Ud over det anbefaler jeg hotellet til alle, der besøger Luxembourg City, da det virkelig var skønt at bo her.
