Wonderfully modern hotel which I deliberately chose situated out of central Barcelona in order to win great value for money. It's at the end of a major city train line so is dead easy to get to and from central Barcelona for all the tourist activities. If you must stay in the middle of Barcelona's vibrant spots then this is not the hotel for you but definitely worth a look otherwise scoring well on value for money.

The hotel was perfect for my needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the location very convenient (5mins from a combined metro, rail and tram station - with a bus stop immediately outside the hotel too), with plenty of supermarkets and dining options within a 5-15min walk, and the price was very competitive.

We had an amazing stay here as our last night in Spain! The staff, especially the lovely lady, who checked us in was fantastic. Professional, welcoming, helpful and friendly. We arrived before check-in looking to store our bike panniers while we went to the airport to box up our bikes. Instead of just storing our panniers, the lovely front desk person decided to find us a room and check us in early. So kind. The room was spacious, super clean, quiet, and great amenities. We had a great rest before our departure the next day. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet, lots to choose from and all very tasty. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open the night we stayed, but if the breakfast was any indication of the caliber of food, it would have been great too. The hotel is an approximate 20 minute cab ride to the airport.

The room was big and clean. No kettle but a fridge. 8 min walk to metro/tram which is 40 mins in city centre. I didn't eat at the hotel. There is a Lidl 5 mins away and a small city centre one stop from the hotel, within walking distance. The area was nice.

There were people talking outside late at night, middle of the night outside the hotel on 2 nights.

Everything went well except for the key, which kept not working. Other than that, everything was perfect! The location is quiet, but it’s only about 7 minutes from the train station, with a direct train to Sagrada Família and the city center. If you’re craving good pizza, there’s a great place just around the corner, and a bakery right in front of the hotel. For seafood lovers, there’s an all-you-can-eat restaurant nearby that’s very affordable! The breakfast offers plenty of choices, and the staff are very accommodating.

Booked 2 rooms here. We got train to Barcelona, 5 mins walk to station and then around 20 mins on the train which run regular. 2.65 euro a trip. Taxi back to hotel was always around 30 euro from Barcelona. Beds comfy, quiet location. Nice bakery across street and also one by train station. Didnt eat in hotel so cant comment on that. Bus stop back to airport right outside hotel.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Was close to the metro. That’s about it. Ac never got cold enough to be comfortable in the room. Also had a hard time trying to sleep as you could hear people through the walls on top of room and on the sides. Noise continued up until about 3 am. No usb plugs in the room was also a letdown. Only hotel I stayed at over 3 weeks traveling through Europe that didn’t have usb plugs in the rooms. Also the hotel gym was very basic. One stationary bike one treadmill and some free weights. Those are the reasons for my lower score. Glad we only stayed one night

The hotel definitely could use some renovation. It's very outdated for the price. carpets on the hallways smell a little weird and although the rooms are fairly spacious, they are outdated and could be cleaned a little better. The staff was friendly and very responsive. Walkable distance to restaurants, stores, public transportation and cafes.

We had a super weekend at the Sercotel Cornella Barcelona. We were given a spacious room that overlooked the pool which was very clean and comfortable and had a lovely ensuite bathroom. The breakfast each day was delicious with a wide choice of food, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool and surrounding pool area were very welcome features on a warm, sunny weekend.

Everything was fine except for the wifi, which dropped out quite often, for seconds or minutes at a time. Apart from that, no complaints. The location is ideal, five minutes walk or so from the transport hub of Cornella Centro, from where you can reach anywhere in Barcelona. And the bakery across the road from the hotel is wonderful!

It many not located near the City of Barcelona, but this hotel is accessible to all train, buses and taxis and it’s close to the Metro 6 minutes walk and 20 minutes to Sagrada Familia and yet we are able to visit those famous places/ places to visit in Barcelona.The service was great, we stayed there for 6 nights and they keep our rooms clean and even retouched, tidy up and change our bedsheets even without our request . The receptionist are so helpful us how to go and where to go in the City around.

Missing the Factor X

The Hotel is not so close from city centre. A taxi will take 20minutes...via a Train / Metro more than 30 minutes while a bus will take around 1 hour to reach the hotel.

Though the distance was known before the booking, we found the tariffs of Sercotel lower among others during peak of conference season and overall availability was lower near city centre.

When you pay between €150-200 per night for a room ( we booked 4 rooms for our team members), you will expect atleast a water bottle per person in the room OR a hot water kettle with cups/Coffee/ tea for 1-2 servings...This is how standard hotels in big cities serve the guests now days, We missed this courtesy. We missed the Iron/ iron Board in the rooms and had to share 1 Iron that was available on day 3 of our stay.

The staff was courteous and cheerful.

Only issue- there were neighbors who were being loud like the hotel was a hostel in the early am and had a flight to catch. I knocked on the door and told then to quiet down. I also alerted staff. Staff was helpful with telling the guests to keep it down. Otherwise no other issues. Would return again as it is nearby to so many things.

Great hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff are respectful and check if you need anything. Our favourite hotel in barcelona as it feels away from hustle and bustle, but so easy to get to the centre. Tram, train and tube 2 minutes away. Pool is a great option for hot days as well as local buses to castedefells/gava beach.
