Very nice modern facility with friendly staff. Room was well equipped with full kitchen facilities. Only problem was the mold in the shower corners. Large free washers and dryers were a plus, but inclusive breakfast consisted of bringing your own plate from your unit and selecting a pastry from a try in the lobby. Well suited for longer stay for people wanting to prepare food in their unit. Short walk to the Metro.

Clean well located apartment near the Prada. Unfortunately cleanliness was lacking, shower was full of mould, and floor hadn't been mopped properly since previous guests. Room servicing also didn't replenish water or coffee pods meaning I had to continually request. Expect more from a property of this calibre.

The hotel is okay but definitely not a “luxury” one. I did let them know that the shower was broken and the basin was clogged, but they took no action. Also, very inconvenient that they close check-in at 11 pm, adding a bit of stress to my trip as my flight was landing at 9:30 pm. and I just made it before 11 pm. I wish that had been made clear during the booking process, as I would have planned differently.

It is Bad experience

The hotel is bad in terms of service, there is no food, there is no room service, there is no water, you have to take the bottle of water and fill it from Downstairs.They closing hotel doors on 23:59, To be honest, I didn't find anything good to write about. Well, it was a bad experience to rent in this hotel. I don't recommend it at all.

I love this place. This is the second time I have stayed here. The place is beautiful and service is amazing. This time I just think the room needed to be cleaned better and the area rug seriously needs replacement. We had the same room and the rug was dirty. Otherwise the place is amazing. I will be staying again soon.

What is there not to love about this luxury hotel? Super clean, extremely private and very accommodating. The kitchen saved us money as we cooked a bit every day. There are many places close by to buy groceries. I have never felt so at home at a hotel. The only place I will stay in Milan from now on. The Lodi train is a short walk away and the Duomo is only a few stops from there. The staff is incredibly helpful and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. See you in September! Grazie Mille

Pros:
Very modern apartment, very comfortable, spacious and reasonably close to metro. Pleasant and helpful staff.

Cons: Some clothes washing products could be added to the vending machines. Droning noise from aircon motor in the courtyard is a bit annoying.

Highly recommend Zambala. Easy parking. Good welcome with all the necessary information to make a good stay. Room(s) are spacious, very modern and comfortable, and kitchen was easy to cook in. A little farther from the metro than we would like (we are in our late 60's) but only four stops to the Duomo. Large grocery store less than 1 km away and several good eating places within three blocks of the Zambala gates.

The hotel is very nice, close to the city center. There is a free gym and free bikes to explore the city. The staff was pleasant and good. There is free parking for those arriving with a car. The rooms are very large and include a kitchen with dishwasher!

Convenient to trains and Linate, this area of Milan is close enough for a taxi to downtown, but is in a slightly sketchy area. Luckily the property is fully gated with off street parking and all-new amenities including kitchen with both pod-coffee and a Moka pot with 2 burners and mini-fridge. A/C was on the fritz when we arrived, but maintenance got it working better. Reception staff very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Comfortable interior space and large studio room with modern Ikea inspired amenities. Security blind on window. Not much of a view, but at least it was to a garden area.

Basic but clean/spacious accommodation

We stayed here for one night. Firstly, it's important to note that reception is only open from 8am to 23:00, and you can't check in outside of these times. We had a flight landing at 22:00 and had to pick up a rental car, so were afraid we might be a little late for the 23:00 check-in cut-off time. I had spoken to someone at the property about this prior to our trip, and they said it wouldn't be a problem if we were 20-30 minutes late. On the day of arrival, we got a call from Zambala letting us know that if we didn't make it by 23:00, we wouldn't be able to get in as the person working at the desk would shut reception down at 23:00. I appreciate reception closing at a certain point as this is not a hotel, but it would be nice if from the beginning they were clear that there was no way to get a key post 23:00 and that no one would stay after that time. We luckily made it in time, but if our flight had been delayed even 15 minutes we wouldn't have made it and would have had to find alternative accommodation last minute.

In terms of the accommodation itself, it is basic with a slightly uncomfortable (very hard) bed, but very spacious, clean and good for a quick stopover.

Nice large clean rooms steps away from city centre

Rooms were nice and large. Clean. Comfortable bedding. Kitchen area with appliances. Nice large bathroom. Manuel at the front desk was great, helped with cabs, food delivery, reservations. A few things missing to make it a 100% positive review. I wish they had a microwave. They have an oven but sometimes you need a quick nuke. Also no iron or ironing board was a pain. We were on a family holiday and needed it a few times, I’m sure business travellers would need it more. All in all a good place to stay that’s moments away from a tube station and 4 stops away from the Duomo

Good value stay in Milan

Apartment was very spacious, I didn't use the kitchen but it looked as though it had everything you could need. Location is about 5 minutes on foot from Lodi metro station, from there you can go anywhere in Milan. The apartments have parking too. A couple of nice bars and restaurants in the immediate area. Excellent value for money.

Nice & Pleasant Stay

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in Zambala. The apartment looks modern and well maintained. Free parking was available within the premises. The apartment interior was of ample space and well furnished. Though there is no breakfast provision in our lease, the apartment had provided croissants free of charge in the morning for live in guests. It was such a nice gesture!!

Great little apartment

We stayed here for a single night towards the end of a two week touring holiday from the UK. The apratment block is secure and pleasantly situated in a tree lined compound. The aprtment was roomy, with good AC and Wi-Fi. Manuel, the desk chap was really helpful - a very nice guy who went out of his way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Very nice breakfast - would definitely stay here again if in Milan.

Good choice for a city stay

The residence is excellent and we were warmly welcomed. The room was bigger than anticipated and very clean and tidy. Morning pastries were very tasty too! The only slightly negative was when we walked 10 mins to the nearest Metro station we felt slightly uneasy in this area, nothing happened, just a feeling! Having said that the location is very convenient to Milan city centre, only 4 stops from Duomo.

Almost perfect. Very comfortable living.

This building seems designed primarily for long-term stays, but it works out great for short-term as well. The units are basically a studio apartment with a well equipped kitchen, nice big bathroom, and a comfortable bed and daily cleaning service. The only issue I had was that the room I stayed in #603 had a VERY weak wifi signal, in that it was pretty much unusable from the room, so I had to use the wifi in the lobby area instead. Other than that I would stay here again.

Sweet spot in Milan!

This was a good hotel! Within walking distance to food, sights, ATMs, metro station (a block away), and the business district. The hotel is very modern with a great staff who were friendly, professional, and very helpful! The Wi-Fi didn't work in my room (top floor) but I didn't need it, so it wasn't a big deal. The floors are made with a textured matting of some sort, so the bottom of my bare feet were black after an hour in the room, so be mindful. No worries in my book!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay!

Clean and modern self-catering accommodation

This is a self-catering hotel with no restaurant and reception cover only 8 am to 8 pm. It is very clean and modern, outstanding value for money, and ideal if you do not want a restaurant, but value facilities to prepare your own food or even just make beverages when you want. Although breakfast is not supplied, there is a tray of high-quality complimentary croissants in the foyer each morning. There is a vending machine which makes cups of coffee if you do not want to make your own. The room I had was so clean I wondered if it had even been used before, with a kitchenette, and table and chairs, crockery, cutlery, kettle, fridge etc as well as the more usual hotel furniture. The immediate area is uninspiring but OK. The hotel is down a drive whose entrance must be unlocked at night by the electronic key that also unlocks your room. This leads to a car park immediately in front of the hotel.

A cab brought myself and 6 family members to the hotel. When they left us there we felt as if we were in the twilight zone. Warehouse? district? It seemed cut off from the rest of Milan. The hotel itself was pleasing upon entry. The woman at reception was helpful with any questions we had. The hallway to our rooms? It seemed as if we were the only ones there. Our rooms smelled. One like smoke, the other like I don't know what. Upon leaving for dinner our door would not lock, again the woman at the front desk did try to assist but could not get it to lock either. She offered us another room but we had a dinner reservation and would be late. It's a good thing there was no one there because we chose to leave our door unlocked. When we returned there was an alarm going off somewhere in the hotel. However staff left at 8:00 and there was no phone number to call to inquire as to what it was or how to turn it off. Ridiculous night's sleep.

Nice Quite Hotel , a 15 minute from Linat Air Port

My Wife and I enjoyed our stay at Zamabla Hotel , very Nice Staff , Free Parking , Clean and quite away from center town noises, specially during new years eve. , Metro Station to Town center is a 5 min walk .
A super-mark is located near By and useful for those who like to cook .

Great Surprise

I spent several days in a nice shoebox with a friend before moving to this hotel, which, for me, was really a small apartment with full kitchen, big bed, big flat screen, couch, dining room table .. And ironically this time it was just me. The place seemed very clean. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. It was a quick walk to the metro. I was very pleasantly surprised. You are trading location for convenience -- it's further away from the Duomo square than the Canada hotel where I stayed before -- but for about half the cost I got about twice the place. The only other thing to note was that it didn't include breakfast (or, at least, not that I know of).

We got there late (10 pm) everything was closed but luckily we had a cell phone to contact the receptionist. Without a cell phone would have been ... interesting. Other than this, the room was nice, reasonable size, comfortable, lots of TV channels.No breakfast though.

Good hotel

It's a modern & stylish hotel in reasonable walking distance to metro station with luggages. We stayed there for 2 night in a studio room. Safe & quiet neighbour & surroundings. Actual look of the room matches the pictures.

Room is clean and pillows & bed are comfortable. But we did have to play around the shower because we finally found out the hot water won't come out till at least 5 minutes later. Nice & intellengent cooking top. The downside is it doesn't supply detergent and sponge for cleaning cookware & culinary or cleaning suff for dish washer.

Friendly service and we will come back to this hotel if we go to Milan again.

Quiet and relaxing

We arrived just before 8pm and were shown to our suite, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, printing maps and advising on public transport which is frequent, cheap and easy to understand. Supermarkets 10 mins walk away at Lodi but take a list. Lots of eating places but they don't speak much English. Avoid places with English menus. Parks and aquariums were lovely. 25 mins to Centrale Statione and 45 min bus trip every 20 mins to Malpensa. Never got to Lakes but went to lots of great Open Air Markets and it was really warm in October, no jackets required.

New apartments next to metro and train area!

The apartments is new, built in 2012! They are so good! Furniture is new! You can reach the metro and train walking about 10-15 minutes! Good Location. The rooms area noisy, you can hear other people on their rooms, talking, taking a shower and waking up! On the first moment, i thought it could be a problem, but it was just around minutes and that's ok!

Lovely place to stay

The motel was fabulous it is brand new and very modern and luxurious. Luisa who met us at check in was very lovely and helpful to a family inexperienced in travel. She was very understanding. The room was amazing the only thing I would say, and it is not a motel, it is a self contained unit is that it would be nice to have some coffee and tea available. We were traveling down from Paris to Rome and did not have anything with us. The apartment is a 10 euro taxi to the city.

- people are kind, but apartment was not in good condition:
- very few power outlets
- Rollo of bathroom didn’t work - i was never able to access the second balcony
- The elevator was shoddy
- The Spa cost 30€, but smelled of mold. The walls are covered in mold. The shower in the Spa was missing the temperature handle and was only spewing hot water.
- There was old murky water left in the coffee machine. I would never want to use such a machine to make my coffee….!

Sehr gut gefallen hat uns die Einrichtung, die Größe, die Ausstattung. Alles wirklich top.
Was aber leider sehr störend war, war ein lauter Dauerbrummton, der vermutlich von der Klimaanlage des Hauses kam. Er war weder durch Schließung der Fenster noch Ausschalten der Klimaanlage leiser zu kriegen. Es halfen daher nur dichte Ohrstöpsel.

Super ruhige Lage der Unterkunft, da diese etwas nach hinten von der Straße versetzt lag. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist, daher fanden wir es sehr angenehm, dass sich direkt vor der Unterkunft Parkplätze befanden. Dazu kam, dass die Unterkunft und somit auch die Parkplätze nachts mit einem Tor versperrt wurden.

Leider wurde kein Frühstück angeboten, es gab jedoch am Eingang Croissant an denen man sich bedienen konnte. Außerdem hat man in jedem Apartment eine Küche mit ausreichender Ausstattung (Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfe Pfannen, etc)

Im Erdgeschoss befanden sich Waschmaschinen, Getränke,-Snackautomaten, dies fand ich sehr praktisch. Der Fitnessraum befand sich auch im Erdgeschoss. Was ich sehr schade fand, dass dies im Check-In nicht erwähnt wurde und nicht ausgeschildert war. Wir sind nur durch Zufall auf die Automaten gestoßen.

Das Apartment an sich, war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet.
Was mir jedoch auffiel, dass ein paar Kleinigkeiten auszutauschen sind. Der Teppich im Wohnzimmer war schmutzig, dieser hätte einen Austausch nötig. Der Boden des Apartments war leider sehr billig.

Die U-Bahn war zu Fuß circa 15 Minuten entfernt. Ein 24 h Supermarkt sowie ein McDonald war nahe der U-Bahn-Station. Auf den Weg zur U-Bahn waren einige Bars/Restaurants/Imbisse, keinen erschien auf uns jedoch ansprechend.
Sehr empfehlenswert besonders für Bierliebhaber ist das Restaurant \"7 Luppoli Birra e Cucina\", es gibt dort 25 verschiedene Biere. Zu Fuß von der Unterkunft circa 10 Min..

Velmi prijemne moderni ubytovani

Pozitiva: Hotel je pomerne novy, skvele udrzovany, prijemne lobby, pokoje skvele (takova bytovka s prostorem pro spani oddelenym velikou skrini), pohovka, jidelni stul, francouzke okno s vnejsi zaluzii, vybavena kuchynska linka s lednickou a myckou, kavovar na kapsle (nazacatku jich par bylo, dalsi se musi dokoupit v automatu za 1EUR kapsle), WIFI bez problemu, prostorny pokoj i koupelna, velka skrin, moderni klimatizace, velka TV, hotel je v takovem bloku asi 50m soukromou ulickou od hlavni ulice, zde soukrome parkoviste, obklopen je zeleni, klidne prostedi. Rcepcni vsichni milli a ochotni, kazde rano byly v lobby k dispozici plnene croisanty zdarma... Negativa tezko hledat, snad tvrda postel, ale to zalezi, kdo co ma rad. Poloha hotelu je mimo centrum, ale metrem je vse dostupne dobre, od stanice metra ale cca 15 min. pesky, verejnou dopravou si nepomuzete.

Mooie apartementen

Mooi hotel met mooie apartementen. Personeel was uiterst vriendelijk. Wat ik miste was een restaurant / bar voor een drankje en/of een maaltijd. Maar dit was uiteindelijk een keuze!

Good place close to Porta Romana

Great place to stay in former industrial area that turns to be a hip place to be. Prada's Foundation with contemporary exhibitions and a great restaurant is next door.

Convenient for car driver.
I stayed on the way of my driving trip.
Easy access and walking distance from Metro station.
Room is comfortable.
I recommend those who want to park a car and sightseeing by Metro in Milan.

Keurig betaalbaar hotel met eigen parkeerplaats direct naast het museum Fondatione Prada en vlakbij de A1 naar het zuiden. Een handige combinatie-stop-over op doorreis!
