Charming riad near City center
Very warm staff. Small room with not alot of privacy or locking but nice riad style and decor. Welcomed with tea and oriented is to neighborhood . Staff was very kind and helpful

Good points: (1)clean, comfort and Morocco traditional guest house (2) the owner and all staff are friendly and helpful (3) breakfast was not fabulous, but enough (4) worth to stay
Bad points:(1)taxi from airport to Medina was 120Dh. Since the taxi cannot reach the guest house, you have to walk 5 minutes after getting off the taxi. Difficult to locate the way, it's better to ask the staff to pick up.(2)since the guest house is close to the mosque, people pray in the early morning. Sometimes around 5:00am and 6:00am.

After long search for , clean, comfortable, good reviews, easy to find, close to taxi drop, and very good price for this Riad category , I found this Riad to meet my expectations. the staff, Meriam, Rashida, Mohamed and Hisham were excellent and very friendly. This made my stay very comfortable. Rashida did her best in cleaning the room, Mariam the manger gave lot of advise, Mohamed and Hisham were there when you need them. I very strongly recommend to take their pick up service from the Airport. It is only 100 DH. If you do not take it I guarantee you that you pay more if you choose a taxi from the Airport. These taxis at the airport have to charge more since they have to wait long hours to get a customer. The other advantage in taking the Riad service is that you will find one of the staff waiting for you at the end of the street. You do not have to search for the location. The breakfast is modest and plenty and sufficient to keep you going till at least after noon. It is Moroccan pastries, butter, 3 different jams, nice bread and strong coffee. Do not forget it is FREE! Many Riads and hotels do not provide this convenient service! The Riad is quiet and tranquil which will give good sleep . I like firm beds and I found the Riad has that. The guest living room has a TV with satellite service. I watched some tennis matches and did not need loud noise for respecting other guests. One day I decided to stay an afternoon in the Riad and I enjoyed the sun on the roof.

Nice Riad located in the Medina
I was surprised to find this beautiful Riad in the Medina. Mohammed and Miriam are so friendly and they are always open to provide information about places to visit in Marrakech and gateways. Safe and quiet area.
The Riad is located close to major attractions such as: Square Fna, souks, Marjorelle garden, madrasa Ben Youssef, Photography museum.
Highly recommended for short or long stay.

Mohammad at the hotel was very nice! Taxis can not drive up to the hotel so we had 2 men take our bags from the car and bring them on a cart through the alleys to the hotel door and once there demanded that we pay 200 dirham. Be aware of this when arriving.

Excellent hotel
The hotel was excellent value for money. Both the room and communal areas were spotlessly clean and we loved the design of the hotel. The location, whilst at first was a little daunting because we had never been to morocco before, was the perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of the big square. The breakfast was fantastic and just what you needed to start a long day of sightseeing. The hosts were always polite and helpful and Mohammed in particular was fantastic as he helped us to get spices at a good rate and one evening was sat waiting for us with a beautiful herb tea to enjoy. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour sa proximité avec la place Jemaa el Fna ( 15 minutes à pied) qui est le poumon de Marrakech, et lieu incontournable. Ce Dar ( maison en arabe) est situé dans des petites ruelles très sécurisées, rien à redouter.

Rustpunt, vriendelijke en professionele ontvangst, Meryem en Mohammed en Khadija doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Alles is op loopafstand van het hotel. De kamers zijn smaakvol en sfeervol ingericht. Je kunt er niet dineren. Restaurant zijn op 5 minuten afstand. Na een drukke dag is het heerlijk thuiskomen. De kamers zijn niet groot, maar zeker voldoende. Heerlijk koffie drinken op het dakterras of met een - zelfmeegebracht - wijntje. Prima hotel, aanbevelenswaardig. Het is geen groot hotel, 5 kamers, maar huiselijke sfeer.

Die Moscheen sind für Nicht-Moslems verboten und die kulturellen Denkmäler weit weniger eindrucksvoll als im Reiseführer beschrieben. Die Armut der Menschen bedrückt und war auch für meine brasilianische Begleiterin schwer zu ertragen.

Small and friendly oasis in Marrakech
Very helpful and serviceminded staff. We had arranged with the Riad to pick us up at the airport, but noone showed up to pick us up. By some help from a man at the airport, we got in contact with the Riad and they then sent a car to pick us up after an hour of waiting. The driver got some boys to show us the way to the riad and told us how much money we should pay them. We payed them according to this, but the boys wasn`t satisfied with the payment and started to threaten us and wouldn`t leave untill they`d got more money. We didn`t have more cash and had to get help from the staff to make them leave. Apart from this, we had no other bad experiences in Marrakech. The room on the ground floor was small, but nice and clean. Notice that there were no glass in the window that was between the room and the common courtyard, so its a very intimate place. Will recommend it to others because of its warm and friendly atmosphere and very good service.

Schoon hotel, mooie kamers, fijne warme douche. Aardig personeel (kregen goede tips van Mohamad wat wel en niet te doen als 2 vrouwen alleen). Locatie enigszins lastig te vinden maar na 1x goed opletten ging dat prima. Het is dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden, op loopafstand van oude en nieuwe stad. Ontbijt minimaal maar wel oké.

Rigtigt dejligt ophold på dar zemrane uden for sæsonen. Hyggeligt og intim atmosfære. Raid'ens aften og natportier Mohammed var en fantastisk personlighed, som var med til at gøre opholdet ekstra godt gennem gode råd, praktisk hjælp, sin fantastiske the og varme person. Det øvrige personale var ligeledes rare og imødekommende. Værelserne var stemningsfulde og lå ud til den fælles indergård. Der var dog ret koldt (pga årstiden) til trods for at der var elradiatorerne og gasvarmer i gården. Kan varmt anbefales.

Et meget intimt og koselig hotell, du må nesten bli kjent med andre gjester siden alle sitter ved samme frokostbord. Du finner antakeligvis ikke fram til hotellet på egenhånd siden det ligger umerket langt inne i smågatene hvor taxien ikke kommer fram, men det er alltids en unge i nærheten som vil vise deg veien for en 10 diram. Vår vert Ahmed var meget hjelpsom, hyggelig og interessant. Prisen tatt i betraktning var dette bedre enn forventet :-)

Vores ophold på Riad'en Dar Zemrane har været en skøn oplevelse. Personalet er meget venligt, og selv om de IKKE snakker engelsk, gør de sig umage for at forstå sine gæster og blive forstået af dem.
Riad'ens ejere er meget fleksible; vi ankom kl. 02.15 om natten og blev alligevel pænt lukket ind og fik tildelt et værelse uden så meget som ét negativt ord. Rigtig god service!

Dar Zemrane kan klart anbefales, det er et meget varmt, turistvenligt og autentisk sted! (Så autentisk, at den også ligger godt gemt i den gamle bydel 'medina', hvor Riad'en faktisk er svær at finde, hvilket er dens eneste minus.)

Dar Zemrane kan klart anbefales, det er et meget varmt, turistvenligt og autentisk sted! (Så autentisk, at den også ligger godt gemt i den gamle bydel 'medina', hvor Riad'en faktisk er svær at finde, hvilket er dens eneste minus.)

Una buena opción en la Medina de Marrakech
El hotel esta muy bien ubicado a 10 minutos andando de la Plaza J. El Fnaa, en una callejuela muy tranquila en medio de la Medina. El personal es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes, pero tienen todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda. Tiene un hermoso patio donde te sirven un magnífico té y puedes relajarte leyendo, también cuenta con un hermoso salón de lectura interior, todo de estilo muy árabe. El desayuno es correcto, pero algo austero. Para mi es una muy buena opción en el centro de la Medina de Marrakech.

Un séjour très agréable de 3j à Marrakech, notamment grâce au confort du Dar Zemrane. On s'y sent comme à la maison: très bon accueil, petit déjeuner complet, les conseils avisés de Mohammed et son thé délicieux thé le soir,.. L'hôtel, bien que difficile à trouver la 1è fois est très bien situé.

Chambre minuscule, 60 cm de chaque côté du lit.Dans la poubelle de la salle de bains les restes de nos prédécesseurs, sinon propre et joliment décoré. Petit-déjeuner constitué de baguette, beurre, 2 confitures et thé ou café ainsi que de galettes au miel et morceaux de gâteau. Rien d'excitant, mais compris dans le tarif.

Da es logischerweise in der Medina liegt, ist es etwas schwer zu finden. Am einfachsten ist es vom Bahnhof herkommend, beim Bab Doukkala in die Medina zu gehen. Von da aus geht es vielleicht 1km geradeaus bis zu einer kleinen Schreinerei auf der linken Seite. Gleich danach links abbiegen wobei oben Dar Zemrane angeschriebenist. Von da geht es nur noch kurz um 3-4 Ecken und man ist da. Sich nicht vom Äusseren täuschen lassen, da es wie eine enge Ssckgasse ist.
Das Riad ist familiär geführt und sauber. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wohl. Mein Zimmer war nicht riesig, aber nett eingerichtet. Werde wieder dort einchecken.

Le Riad est situé en dehors de la marée touristique, les commerces environnants sont le vrai Maroc. Il faut aimer marcher, car la médina est grande. Séjour agréable, petit déjeuner excellent.

franchement, accueil très agréable malgré l'heure tardive d'arrivée. De plus ayant constaté un vol dans ma valise, provenant de l'aéroport, le gardien m'a accompagné en taxi pour dépôt de plainte, refusant même le pourboire qui était mérité. Je garde une très bonne opinion de cet hotel. A recommander.

Dar Zemrane moelijk te vinden maar zeer sfeervol
Prachtig mooie riad met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Wel iet wat lastig te vinden. Maar als voor een euro wijzen locals je snel de weg. Gelegen in een rustig deel van de medina. In de wintertijd koelt het snachts erg af, dus vragen om een extra deken is geen overbodige luxe.
