Nice hotel. Nice pool area. Limited restaurant selection, but excellent food. Great quiet location. 10 Peso bus ride (5 min) frequent to downtown. 5 minute walk to mall and large grocery store. Very helpful staff.

Room: on the 2nd floor facing front of the building. There was no noises from the street but the squeaking sound of bed and floor from the room above was really noisy.

Staff: They were all very supportive and friendly.

Location: Unless you have your own car, walking to/from the central area is pretty far and uncomfortable hilly road condition to walk.

They accomodated the schedule when getting us into the spa. The spa massages were great. The rooms were clean and beautiful.

The restaurant needs a revamp. Their food menu was limited. When requesting food items on the menu, they no longer had them making the menu choices so much less. The food was over priced and not great. Their lengua dish was unpleasant.

This is my second time here, and it’s the most reliable hotel with good value. The rooms are well-appointed, spacious and comfortable, and the hotel offers a free shuttle to/from centro. They have great amenities (including an elevator, which most hotels here do not have), and a solid restaurant. I’ll only stay here when I need a hotel in SMA.

We are four “mature” women and this stat was in the middle of our trip. Two were feeling a bit under the weather so they actually stayed in the hotel the whole time we were there. My other friend and I did take advantage of the shuttle into town.

One day we all hung out at the pool. It’s a beautiful area with comfy lounge chairs and umbrellas and tables. It’s right off the bar/restaurant, which is convenient.

I was bit confused by the room amenities - one apple, one decaf pod of coffee and one regular pod. Maria hooked up these two coffee drinkers with a cup of coffee a day for each with enough cream. She also helped us figure out the coffee machine.

The beds were very comfortable and we loved the decorating in the room and throughout whole hotel. It was always very quiet.

I’d have liked the room a tad cooler, but putting the fan on high and opening the window made it tolerable.

We are most meals there out of necessity and they were fine.

There was a percentage off of meals and spa services due to our Expedia booking, This was great, but you had to go to the front desk every time you wanted one (which meant two times a day due to eating so many of our meals there) which seemed like a cumbersome process. One waiter also only gave me and my roommate a 10% discount, but gave our friends a 20% because there was one check. I think the rest gave 20% each time but when I asked him he told me I was wrong. It wasn’t worth fighting about!

We’d stay there again!

This place is quiet, pretty, simple
Staff is really nice and helpful
Location is 10 minutes away from downtown or the main attraction, which is the Parrish or parroquia.
They have a shuttle service to downtown San Miguel
We never tried the food from their restaurant.
Place is really small and very quiet
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
The area is not the nicest but it is safe and it’s very close to the Mirador where you have the most amazing views of San Miguel!

We started our trip right in the Centro, but for the last three days we wanted to be in a hotel with a poo, therefore why we choosed Primivera. The rooms were spacious, the pool with comply cushions refresdioning and they had a courtesy shuttle that ran all day for the Centro. it met all our needs.

The room was beautiful!
One new lady at the front desk was difficult to deal with. I had to talk to the manager.
The shuttle service was not good.
They made such a big deal when I asked to be taken before 10 am!
It started at 10am…and they would never take you 10 minutes early….even though I was the only person!
It is cheaper to taxi or uber….as it is only $2 in most cases!
We were stopped at the door one evening wanting to know WHY we did not call for the shuttle!
The cellular in town does not work.
I had to ask someone to call for me once….and then found it easier to take a taxi or uber.
They act like they cannot understand u at the hotel! But, I think they can.
Although the hotel is very pretty, I do not think that I would stay here again!

The property is well kept but there were a few things that were not to my liking. The first and most important is that we had to cut short the trip by one night due to illness and the manager refused to adjust our bill. I understand the need to profit but having an illness is not something you can foresee. They prefer to profit one night and loose a client. And the good wasn’t great. Very limited choices and expensive.

El hotel es muy bonito y limpio. Los cuartos son grandes y cómodos.

Le hubiera dado un 5 pero la atención al cliente no es muy buena. No nos explicaron nada, solamente si preguntábamos.

El hotel no está ubicado cerca de la iglesia de San Miguel como indican en la información y también está lejos del centro. El hotel ofrece un servicio de transporte gratis al centro pero nos enteramos solo por casualidad por qué tampoco nos lo mencionaron a la hora de hacer el check in.

El restaurante tiene un menú pequeño pero rico y el servicio es bueno pero lento.

El spa es cómodo con buen servicio y atención.

The property has a lot of potential. The building is cute, but the location is a bit farther from Centro than what I had expected. The staff was helpful enough, but didn't really ever go above and beyond what we asked for. I was disappointed to learn that there is no A/C in the hotel, or in the rooms. For some reason, I thought there was A/C. That was probably my error. I asked for some extra pillows, but they said they didn't have any. I asked for a table fan, or a floor fan, again, they don't have them. There are ceiling fans, but the room was still extremely warm....borderline uncomfortable.

Hacienda styled, fantastic value! King Suite had a sitting area & fireplace, two sets of french doors to the balcony. There was plenty of H2O w/cutest retro mini fridge. Decor made you feel at home. The bath had a vanity area w/ great lighting, sink, & shower/toilet area. The shower was big w/ lots of hot water pressure. The amenities were nice including conditioner, & vanity kit. The bed & linens were great. Nice courtyard w/sitting area. Pool was warm & refreshing. Spa was fantastic, one of the best massages we have had. We also got in around noon and the room was available. Breakfast was nice, best fruit / granola dish I had & was huge. Located near groceries, local’s flea market on Sunday, & tasty Birra spot Pechan.

Definitely stay here again but couple of things to note:

If you are VIP on Expedia you must ask for your food/spa discount card or they won’t give to you. Also, look at your bill as they show the discount but don’t take off on the cc. Had to get cash back & have them redo the bill.

No shuttle service to town as advertised. Stayed 3 days, van was out front, but not running. Public bus just out front on main rd is 8 pesos (Take 8 or 9 bus). Uber and Didi had long waits.

The botanical eco garden is a short 20 min walk. There is not gym.

The room key is huge & you have to leave with them when you go out.

There is NO AC but there is a great working fan above the bed and you can open the doors.

When we arrived, the towels that were in our bathroom were visibly dirty. That happened also in the spa, the towels that we were given to change into had obviously been used before.
The food was good, but the menu was limited. The drinks were outstanding- probably the best thing about the hotel.
If you do decide to stay here, then you need to speak & read Spanish, simply put. They do have 1 lady who speaks limited English, but she only works part of the day, on certain days. Most of the people who work there do not speak English.

Beatufiul hotel! Staff was nice and everything clean and neat! Restaurant is good and good prices. Our only negative review is the rooms do not have A/C and if it’s hot outside inside is an oven.. at night i woke up couple of times because of the heat... the ceiling fan did not help much... other than that great hotel... if management installs A/C units in the rooms it would be a 5/5... you are 10 min drive from the historic Centro...

Love San Miguel de Allende, Casa Primavera!!

Beautiful hotel, open and spacious common areas, large king room, comfortable bed and nice fresh linens every day. Nice bar and restaurant offering breakfast and lunch/dinner menus. In a newer area of San Miguel de Allende but a quick drive down the hill to the Parroquia and all the beauty of the historic centre. After a couple of days we used a taxi to get to Centro as we found navigating the narrow roads and finding street parking a challenge in our midsize SUV. $100 Mx ($6Cdn) including tip each way - no brainer!! Some paid parking available, reasonable, but only found 2 lots on Hildago. Can’t wait to return!!

The hotel looks nice, but overall I would say there’s no value for money.
The rooms are spacious and well decorated, but the bed is extra soft (couldn’t get a good night sleep) and you can hear everything that happens around.
The pool is cold so if you’re here during winter be aware that you might not be using the pool whatsoever.
The staff at the restaurant is kind but nothing to be amazed with.
No one helped out with the luggage.
There is no actual parking lot so the car is left on the street around the hotel.

Overall, It was OK, but I wouldn’t return.

Really beautiful property, amazing margaritas (seriously best we had in town!), loved the pool, very accommodating staff. Only two disappointments overall: the spa was non existent (they said it was just indefinitely closed), and the second frustrating thing was that everyday the rules changed. We were told the restaurant / bar was open until 10pm, and went at 8:45pm one night, and were told it was closed. Also was told the hot tub (which you have to reserve) was open until 9, and another day 8, and one day 10pm. The shuttle is helpful, and the driver was wonderful, but it's supposed to leave every hour and isn't super consistent. Overall though, this hotel was so beautiful, felt VERY safe, clean, and a nice place to rest and relax, a little away from the city center.

El hotel es acogedor, tiene buenas instalaciones, las habitaciones son cómodas, lo genial es que tienen transporte al centro cada una hora lo que facilita la estadía, ya que está un poco alejado para llegar caminando. El Sr. Felipe muy amable en el trayecto nos fue explicando un poco de San Miguel de Allende.
Lo único un poco incomodo es que en las habitaciones se escucha demasiado el ruido del 2 piso en la noche.

The hotel itself was spectacular! Classic look, great location, good price, fabulous suite with a fireplace, and Felipe (an employee who couldn’t do enough)!

The restaurant, especially the staff, was very disappointing.
Inept might be a better word.

The SPA was closed...IT’S CALLED “HOTEL & SPA”

The shuttle was nice, but on different schedules. One afternoon we took the 1800 one, the next day it didn’t run until 1900.

Etc. I know, it’s Mexico.😉

Our room was beautiful and spacious. We had the king suite on the first floor and really enjoyed staying in the room.
The pool was also very nice, as well as the decor of the hotel

We didn’t like the food at the restaurant. Service was slow and the breakfast was edible but would not eat there again. Eggs tasted like they were premade, not fresh. I recommend they serve some kind of buffet with good food instead of their current offerings.

We lived the style and structure of the hotel. Our room was awesome. The furnishings were very impressive we had a balcony with wire to the pool. Our room had a fireplace and a roomy closet and plenty of storage space. Our bathroom was very spacious with double sinks and the shower had dual shower heads We will definitely recommend it and stay here again .

Host was NOT attentive to us or our luggage on arrival. Suggestions that there were no restaurants nearby and only the hotel restaurant was available (~7pm) was contested based on WiFi, and an EXCELLENT restaurant was found <100m from the hotel (Dila’s))
Comfortable accommodations and a good price (thanks to Hotels.com) rounded out to an OK stay.
