Terrible sound suppression didn’t sleep well :(

Very budget hotel with lovely lobby.

CONS:
Walls are paper thin. They should never have built the hotel like this. I could hear the alarm at 7am in the room next door. One night at 1:30am I had to complain the other room next door were so loud talking all night I could hear it even with headphones in. I could hear stomping all morning and night.

The tv turns on every time you enter the room so you have to turn it off.

No mini fridge which is a real bummer.

The a/c works great but heads up, if on auto it clicks on and off every other minute and is annoying but I learned to leave it on low instead

I’m disappointed because of four nights I didn’t sleep well once. Really tired.

PROS
Nice front desk staff and with strawberry club free app you can get one coffee a day

The shower is great, water doesn’t run all over as there’s a door and it was hot and great pressure.

Location is walking to train station and across from an Iki grocery which is not fancy but convenient. We found a better grocery not that far away.

The rock and roll theme is cute-ish but funny the hotel caters to senior citizens on travels and if you know the definition of rock, they are way off on most of it but I get it, it’s just a fun theme. But it’s not like there’s record players in the room just pretend rock and sometimes good music in the lobby. I suppose it’s opinion based on this matter.

OK hotel- some irksome issues, I.e., rock roll music playing in the hallways as early as 8:00 am ( a bit too early for most), and having to wait to pay for a bottle of water in the same line as the hotel check-in, which took 15 minutes on one occasion, and on another, I got tired of waiting and went to the store across the street. For the price, I would have expected better customer-service.

The Hotel was in a great location, very clean and the staff accommodating. The twin room was great and had a walkout solarium. Very happy to find that handwashed garments would dry over night.
Very disappointed that the shuttle from the airport to the hotel that I prereserved with the hotel never arrived.

Neighbours noisy half night. No help from reception. Breakfast with long waiting and most of plates empty.

Great hotel but horrible restaurant service

It was a great stay, reception staff superb! Very helpful.
Negative thing the restaurant, ordering a simple burger was even embarrassing, ordered a blue cheese burger with no onion and delivered a jalapeño burgués with onion! And when I said this they replied that if I wasn’t allergic I could eat the onion! Really? Eat it yourself! Also I asked if was possible to add bacon or avocado and it was like ordering a unicorn! That add up was impossible to do I was told, but you have it in the menu, yes but can’t be added in may case…. Ridiculous response! Anyway I might come back to the hotel but never to that restaurant not even for breakfast just in case I’m forces to eat onions too hahahaha

Not as it used to be - but still a good choice

The smiles and the exceptional service is gone. You can see that they have had consultants saving every \"unnecessary\" cent everywhere.
But it is still a good choice at a good price.
The breakfast is nice with fresh bread (no butter anymore - I know it got expensive). Not possible to get mustard to the sausages. There is a well equipped shop across the street. Why did noone in the staff take an initiative?
All those small things that make a difference. And give 5 stars instead of 4.

Hotels looks new. The location is excellent. Close to bus and train stations and to the old city. Across the street is the supermarket. The room, bathroom was immaculate clean. Bathroom has heated floors. It was very pleasant to get warm in a cold Lithuanian weather. Liked everything. The staff was amazing. The hotel meet all my expectations. Thank you very much!

Great base for a long weekend in Vilnius. Really comfy rooms, very spacious and perfect to escape the chill in. Very helpful hotel staff. Great location - easy to get a bus directly from the airport to a bus stop 5 mins away, less than ten mins to the old town and about 7 mins to the train station.

Only thing that was slightly odd was that the hotel had lots of signs/adverts around the building saying you could check out at 6pm on Sundays - when I enquired about this, you had to actually be at the top level of their membership programme or pay for another night's stay.

Very Disappointing -A let down to Strawberry Chain

We booked a room for three nights with breakfast included. When we arrived they said that breakfast was not included. Having contacted Hotels.com who confirmed that the price we paid included breakfast we were then interegated by three members of staff at different points during breakfast the next day as to whether we were entitled to breakfast. This made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable that we left breakfast without eating and didn't return for the other 2 mornings. The room for comfortable and clean but the walls were so thin that whenever anyone nearby closed a door the walls and beds shook. Two sachets of coffee were provided in the room for the entire 3 nights, if any more were required you had to pay 2.5 Euros.

The hotel in the room are clean and updated, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had excellent strong water pressure. Old town Is only about a 15 minute walk and the train station is only a 10 minute walk which makes this hotel very convenient. The airport is only a 7 minute drive. I would definitely stay here again.

A mixed experience

We were booked to stay at this hotel as part of a tour of the Baltic States. The initial impression was not good - we had to wait 10-15 minutes to check in, the receptionist did not apologise and then told me off for the way I had booked an extra night.

Pros - the bed was very comfortable; it was nice to have a kettle in the room; having a gym and a laundry room for guests

Cons - 15 minute walk to the old town; the area the hotel is in is not the nicest, though seemed very safe; the shower door opened outwards so the bathroom floor got wet; no socket near the kettle to plug it in; more staff were needed to help keep breakfast items supplied; no safe in the room.

Bad experience

It was a disaster experience in Vilnius for us. The receptionist requested extra 12 eur for a reservation we made via hotels , 🏨. And later we requested a kettle, she asked 4 eur for it and didn’t bring it for 2 hours although she said that was going to bring right away. We called back she told us that it will be brought by housekeeper later. Very unprofessional customer service.

Good stay and great location

Clean comfortable hotel.
Music theme which is excellent. It’s modern and well located for the train station and old vilnius both walkable in 20mins or so. Also not too far from the airport by taxi.

I stayed here twice, the staff were helpful and 24hr reception. There was good breakfast selection. Room was comfortable and slept good.

Only down side is i found on both stays i could hear what sounded like footsteps and on this stay person in adjacent room talking on the phone, but i am a light sleeper. This noises stopped during the later hours when it mattered.

Good comfortable stay

Stay here was good. I had an extremely late check in - 4am after my flight to the city was delayed- i wrote ahead warning them of this and all was well and To my surprise I had received a free upgrade to a suite which was excellent:)

Good side- The reception is 24hours and staff were helpful. Hotel is clean, and comfortable and modern. Musical themed which is really nice touch. And location is great for train station and old Vilnius.


Bad side is- for me the AC dries me out so id wake very thirsty which is how it is in modern hotels these days. The window did open which would help but it was winter so too cold for that but in summer no problem id guess!! i found it a little noisy. I am a light sleeper and i could hear what was like footsteps, and traffic especially on day one after my late check in, i slept late. Through the night it was generally quiet

Id stay here again, i liked this hotel.

I had a great stay here. The hotel is in a central location in Vilnius and I was able to walk to old town Vilnius fairly quickly. My room & bathroom were clean, quiet and the staff were helpful. Cute decor, clean rooms, great wifi speed so you can work from home there if needed. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Vilnius.

We had a pleasant stay here. The hotel is in walkable distance from the old town and the train and main bus station of the city. The rooms are clean and a thing that we liked about this hotel was that they are not bothering you every day with the cleaning service. They have a nice policy of cleaning your room every 4th day, or obviously on demand whenever you want. The breakfast was good, and they have a cute gym for people that want to stretch a bit.

All in all, we liked the stay.

The hotel was clean, modern, the design and a concept of the hotel was nice and cool. Really loved the dark curtains - covered the light perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful. What I would appreciate more - at least a minimal fridge and better filled soap containers. There is a store just behind the hotel and few restaurants what makes the stay convenient as you can buy everything you need. Although with not the greatest food choice, the food was nice and all the most common breakfast food was there. All in all, really satisfied. 🙂

Nice hotel but service lacked. Upon check in was given wrong room and asked for payment even though this was already sorted. Had to come down to change the room which was annoying and then second room was given a disabled access room which was very small with walk in shower. By this point I had had enough and just stayed in the room. Given 1 toilet roll for duration of stay with no maid service given. Put sign on door to request but still nothing. Overall a very disappointing stay for our Anniversary stay. Had heard good things about the hotel but unfortunately on this occasion did not meet our expectations.

We had an amazing stay at the Rock n Roll Hotel! It's very modern with lots of cool little homages to different artists, and the rooms are smart and very clean. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful too so I would definitely recommend!
