JPark is good for families with young children. Our 4 year old had so much fun swimming. Our older children 12 not as much. They like the faster slides at Clark.
The communication to customers is opaque. All rooms include waterpark passes for 2 adults and 2 children. Then some rooms include food for adults but not for children We paid 600 for buffet for our children each day.Other rooms include food for children. 3 restaurants, one always buffet, one Korean food, one steak house on 12th floor. Several others they call restaurants but only for pool food delivery or smoothies.

There are so many things wrong with this hotel, it was mostly funny, except for the food poisoning and subsequent 72hrs of squirts and vomitting. Let's start at the beginning...

First, they never replied to my message, via expedia, requesting a rollaway bed. Radio silence.

On check-in, they'd assigned the wrong configuration... a twin, not the king booked but resolved that as you expect they might. Then of the keycards given, 1 of 4 worked. Only discovered after we ventured downstairs 30mins after check-in to eat at their restaurant as we'd not eaten since breakfast (this decision proved to be a grave mistake), I'd pizza, a mocktail, and they provided the table with a crafe of suspicious water. When we returned to be locked out, I went back down to reception with the non working keycards, but in their wisdom, they'd greenlit some cultural drum performance right next to reception, so it was sign language and screaming at one foot apart. Returned to room bemused (food poisioning hadn't kicked in yet). The room was a suite, not cheap either. It looked clean, but they really need to stay in their hotel once every now again to see the problems. First the tv's cant be turned off via the remote, and can only be turned off by long pressing the power button hidden underneath the tv. Otherwise it displays a screensaver, all night. There was also two sky legacy remotes still in the room that were completely redundant. Nowhere next to bed to plug in a charger. I ran out of characters.

I’ve stayed in this hotel multiple times over the last few years and it has definitely gone downhill. It is in need of a lot of maintenance if it wants to keep up with other hotels at the same price. Jpark is not worth what they are asking right now. Yes they have a nice pool, but unless that’s the only thing you do and you spend zero time in the room, my recommendation is to stay away. There are a lot of other hotels with better facilities at the same price or less you can stay at.

This is a good place for families. Check in was a little long. We checked in early but unfortunately our room was not yet ready. We were able to make use of the pools. The grouds were nice and clean. There was a big main pool, lazy river, lids play area, and beach. Due to the weather we were unable to into the ocean water.

The whole resort is a setup to rip off money from mainly Korean charter tourists. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here.
The water park for kids is quite ok for a day or two.
The Pororo playground in the hotel is small compared to a regular playground in a mall but cost ten times more. Wow totally crazy.
And to finalize the rip off they can’t arrange a regular taxi to the airport. You are supposed to take the hotel taxi also ten times more expensive than a regular taxi.

JPark was an absolutely amazing place to stay and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and over all incredible. The property is great and very family friendly. The multiple pools and huge variety of children’s activities made it a great family vacation. But I really can’t say enough about the staff. The people really made it special for us and always made sure our kids (4 and 6 years old) had a great time. Really above and beyond. As is typical for resorts, the property is an island of luxury amidst the bustle of a city, but it was easy to get around as needed. By far the most family friendly vacation we’ve been on, catering to the kids and parents alike.

The resort staff was amazing. The rooms were clean but a bit dated. The restaurants were ok but didn't have a great variety. The breakfast buffet was great. The Chinese restaurant was also very good. The pool, water park and ocean beach area was maintained well and clean. The beach bar had good drinks. The casino which is connected but not part of hotel was disappointing and not very welcoming. The majority of the customers seem to be Korean and it was difficult chatting with other guests.
The suite was well appointed and had 1.5 baths to help with kids. The only strange thing was the lack of Filipino style toilet facilities, no hose or bucket. I noticed, as with other hotels, a lack of towels in the room. It is necessary to call for towels especially if you shower before dinner and in the morning. The staff was very helpful and delivered towels or ice on request.
It was a good resort for families.

I just arrived at 13:30. I asked to check in and it was very humid and hot, but I could get in after waiting for more than 2 hours. What's more incomprehensible is that even when I went to the front desk at 3 o'clock, the room was not cleaned, staff didn't answer exactly when I could enter the room.. Also, during check-in, There is no excuse for the customer even though the check-in process is delayed. the front desk staff don't focus on the service and they just answer the phone or continue to chat with colleagues around them.. I don't know how many stars it is, but customer service is really terrible.

This is a gorgeous hotel. The place is well maintained and very clean. The breakfast buffet is good and the views from the room are simply breath taking for sunrises. The bad is the upselling. There is free breakfast for two adults and a single child. The kicker is any child over 13 is considered a adult and you have to pay for them. The room charge doesnt cover pororopororo park. Thays extra charge. Their activities there such as mini gold walking chess and pedal bikes are additional charges as well. The pool is amazing but if you have kids dont even bother trying to use the slides.They wont let any kids use the slides unless they are 18. So overall great property but be ready to pay for alot of extras with quite a few restrictions in place.

We had an amazing time at Jpark! We had 6 nights here and easily could have stayed longer as there was so much to do. We were a family of 4 and stayed in a mactan suite which was very comfortable. There was drilling during the day (as they are building another wing) but it didn’t really bother us too much. I’d advise upgrading to an ocean view if you think it would be annoying.

Agree with the other reviews that there were mainly Koreans staying there, but disagree that it was geared towards them. We were from Australia and we absolutely loved it - everything was in English, everyone spoke English and we found the food was great as well. Everybody were so friendly and so great with kids. At breakfast the service was fantastic, they ordered soy milk and took great care in making proper coffees and by day 3 the aqus pool bar staff knew our orders! The staff at the Olive restaurant spent time drawing with the kids and at Havana by the Sea the performers encouraged the kids to join in which they loved.

We especially loved the lazy river (I think we went around it about 343,678 times over the 6 days) the pirate ship pool, the slides and the beach. Feeding the fish was also an amazing experience. One thing I would mention is that one water slide had a weight limit of 90kgs, another had a limit of 110kgs and you had to be at least 4ft tall to go on any of them. The people that went on them loved them though!

Great Experience. I went here with my family (wife and 4 kids ages 6, 8, 10 and 11). The pick up service at the airport was convenient and very quick. Very rapid check in (we arrived late at about 1 AM and they had us set up with a VIP check in). The breakfast buffet was outstanding. We loved the dinner buffet also (the price is a little high, but we were never disappointed). Not exactly sure why they insist on charging in house guests for the little things (giant chess, foosball, ping pong, the pedal go karts), but the price was not bad - just inconvenient. The hotel prices were very high for the watersports and tours - but that is expected. Just don't go through the hotel. We booked outside to go to Oslob to swim with whale sharks at 1/3 the price the hotel wanted to charge. Lots of Korean and Japanese at the hotel, but this was great as they are very polite and friendly.

部屋は2回掃除してくれたので、タオルも常に新しく、水もお菓子も常に補充して頂けたので快適に過ごせました。日本人スタッフがフロントに居てくれたので、言葉の心配もなく安心して過ごす事が出来ました。有難うございました。ただ一つ、ウェルカムフルーツはナイフが無いのでパイナップは頂けませんでした。よく切れるナイフがあるとマンゴーも楽に食べれると思いました。

Hotel is nice and room was nice. Hotel charges for every little item though. The Giant Chess set you have to pay additional to use. It is hard enough to get people to play chess's but even harder when you have to pay for it. Same with the pedal go kart's and mini golf. In my opinion that should all be included in the room price. The ocean at the resort was clean. Restaurants onsite were very accommodating. Head Chef (Mathias) was excellent and took very good care of us especially for our gluten free child. Staff overall was good, kind and considerate.

This hotel was great and the staff were wonderful. They were very friendly, always smiling and asking how everything was. We were upgraded to a bigger room that had two bathrooms when we arrived. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good, big selection to choose from. The only thing that l didn't enjoy was the water pressure in the lazy river. There are Nemo, Dory and other figures on both sides of the river that spray water at a very high pressure. You are constantly covering your ears and face throughout. Overall this place is great, l would definitely go back.

We had the Spa Villa room which was amazing and clean, but the hotel itself is not 5 stars it’s 4 starts. The majority of the common areas are no more than nice, the pools are overcrowded and dirty, the dining room is crowded and not clean, the food is average minus.
Btw we did use the Spa and had one of the best treatments so highly recommended

We are not so enjoy with the city but the hotel. The hotel got a lot of facilities and entertainment for guests. You can just stay in the hotel for few days and have fun.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are proactive to help and serve the guests.
It’s really a 5 star hotel and highly recommended.

A fantastic beach resort with a huge park like area. Great entertainment, and the food they serve in any of their restaurants is just world-class!! Thank you very much to the wonderful staff who made our 5 night stay into a dream come true. This hotel is not for people who don't like kids as it is occupied by families with many kids because of the awesome pools and water park. We had a great time.

Hugh hotel with water park for youngsters (under 12).
The activites are not all free of charge (you have to pay for mini golf, go cart, gigant chess).
Two Queen sized beds are not enough for a european family of 4 to share (we had a suite so there was space enough for two king size beds).

My family and friends enjoyed the outdoor pool and slides. The beach was nice and easy to access. One minor issue was that the breakfast restaurant was too crowded and had to queue all the time. I understand it was high season but still too crowded.

Experience was excellent accept that many of the amazing amenities online were either not available/closed and there was a huge construction site going on next to my room that other hotels on here mentioned but these guys did not. After 24 hours of travel I arrived wanting to collapse in bed at checkin time only to here a jackhammer operating next door. I rated service higher because I did get to my room/sleep 45 minutes later.
When I woke up at 7pm to tryout the waterpark & lazy river I found out that it was closed not only due to the hour of day but also beyond the length of my stay. Seems like something they should have mentioned. Given that they expect travelers here from way different time zones they should permit \"swim at your own risk\" 24 hrs a day and let people know when they book if amenities will not be available. Breakfast was fantastic as was the available/pay extra car service.

Loved my pool villa. Just disappointed that the casino was temporarily closed during the time of my stay.
There are only limited on-site dining options at the park. All dining is structured around their mostly Korean clientele. If you choose the have food bought in from the outside this property will want to charge you 50% of the total bill as a penalty and they require you to walk to the front guard gate to get your food. Seems a little over the top don't you think?

JPark is a great place for a family holiday. The kids love the waterpark, and the buffet breakfast is amazing. Its a shame that there aren't more room types to accommodate families with kids ( especially for a family orientated hotel ), unless you want to pay extra for roll-away beds. Food and drinks inside the park are very very pricey.

Stayed two nights. too far from any major shopping, hotel transportation was a little expensive, charged for each person. you have to pay for airport transportation and leave hotel at 6:00 am or 11:00 am for any morning flights, did not work for us as our flight left at 11:00 am. We had to take hotel van at a more reasonable time at a higher price.

A nice waterpark resort/hotel. I cant say anything bad except that the buffet price was way too expensive. Good thing there are malls/restos near the resort if you're budget is tight. Nevertheless, this is a very relaxing holyweek vacation.

OK hotel lacking on service

Where to start. I was worried driving in because the neighborhood is less than great. But once in the resort we felt safe and choose not to venture out after talking to the staff about taxi's and them not being honest or safe all the time. The front desk staff was good and had no issues with checking in or out. The staff at the buffet was the best part of the trip. They provided the best service and were fast and happy. Anything that we asked for they were able to get for us. Melvin was our waiter for 2 of the nights and I was sad that he wasn't there our last night to thank him for everything he had done.
The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed the water slides. The first day we were there the lazy river was closed, the next day there were not enough floats for everyone so we had to wait an hour to get on. We were sorry that we did. It was like being tortured. The jets that spray on you are not relaxing but more painful. The service at the pool was also horrible we had to track down the servers to order the food and then track them down again to clean up the plates.
Our room felt dated and small. We are a family of 4 and when we got to the room there were only 2 towels. We called down for more towels and water and left for the pool. When we came back the towels and water weren't there and when we called down again it took another hour and 3 trips from the staff to get everything we needed. The kids had fun but I don't know if we'd go back.

You breath, you pay

This is a overrated hotel. There is nothing great in it, is just average. Only positive point is their very friendly staff.
In addition to it, if you want to do anything else than be at the pool you have to pay. Even the shuttle from the airport is charged to you!!!
Clients are mainly Korean, so you might know that is very Korean oriented. I was honestly very disappointed.

Hotel that has it all

very nice facilities, evening shows (fire dance performance). very accomodating when they extended 1 hour on checkout for my son who has 2 small kids due to flight schedule. also provided medical assistance for free when my husband got sick.
