You have plenty of shops and restaurants at 5mins walk and yet the street stay quiet at night. Very relaxing and beautiful hotel.

The room is incredibly cosy, bed mattress and pillows are very comfortable and everything is very clean. We always stay here when we visit Stockholm every year and it is always a very pleasant experience. Great location in the Old Town and the antiques marine decor feels very fitting.

This hotel looks like a museum! Beautiful collection! Our room was very romantic, and hotel located in the best area of Gamla Stan. The breakfast had a good variety and healthy juices made irg muscat, cardamom and ginger, very delicious. The breakfast room is located downstairs with no windows. It was a bit too cold in the morning when having breakfast. But this was the only complain we had.

The hotel was very well located, close to the metro station, restaurants, the palace, and great shopping. The hotel provided coffee and tea in the hallway outside the room. While I would've liked to have had a kettle in the room, this was also very nice and I enjoyed fresh coffee every morning. The breakfast downstairs was quite good! Lots of vegan and other healthy options. Also enjoyed the fresh juices and fresh fruit. The hotel has a lift which was very much appreciated! Everyone working there was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was clean and super comfortable with ample pillows and warm comforter. The shower was very hot!

Wonderful hotel, we stayed in the small double which was compact but felt plenty big enough. Good supply of tea and coffee, nice comfortable bed, good shower and excellent breakfast. Only downside I can think of is the road noise could be quite loud if you wanted the window open. Overall a great hotel with excellent friendly staff!

The room was beautiful! The hotel is located close the metro so it was an easy walk to and from metro. Convenient location in Old Town- very walkable. The only downside was there was early morning noise from delivery trucks in the street in front of the hotel( we were on street side on first floor) The breakfast was awesome!

VIP Access is a JOKE

Its a cute little hotel in prime location but we had Few problems:

Hotel floors/Elevator had a very pungent/unbearable smell of food/meat for whatever reason

They charge 100kr for sauna use which is bizarre since paying guests should have access to something as basic as sauna given there is no other amenities in the hotel. They don’t mention this on Expedia. Neither did they mention to me until after I used it. At that point any legit person would simply apologize and make it complimentary instead of back charging.

The staff was very friendly except for the gentleman/owner David at the front desk who was pretty unfriendly and outright RUDE. We checked in with 2 kids under 12 and they did not mention about any extra charges. Next day owner asks us to pay for the kids in a very rude tone and says you cannot sneak them in. Really??? Your staff checked us in with all 4 of our passports what part of that means sneak in??? The opposite of hospitality. Don’t recommend.

A uniquely themed hotel ( maritime .. from long ago) which gave a quirky charm. Front desk v helpful and staff pleasant and efficient throughout hotel . Comfortable / large enough room . Coffee / tea available in corridor not in room ( was okay with us). Nice touch of a complimentary smal decanter of port for a welcome nightcap . Good breakfast buffet . Lift felt a bit tired re flooring but worked fine . Fabulous location in Gamla Stan as could walk everywhere and near the metro . Wouid recommend

Old Town Stockholm Boutique Gem

This hotel is a masterpiece in whimsical decoration! The owner has amassed an enormous collection of sailboats and prow statuary that festoons every where the eye lands. It is a visual feast for the eyes! The breakfast buffet is excellent. Parking is not easy. Our room was quite small. Being located in Old Town is great.

A fun and unique property with a lot of history incorporated to the decor and rooms! Our room was larger than expected and quite comfortable as well. The hotel took great pride in its eco-friendliness and prioritized that as well! It had wonderful amenities and the staff were helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfast spread - delicious with a large variety of options! Amazing location - right smack in the middle of Gamla Stan that was so easily walkable to major attractions as well as the train and ferry!

David and others were very helpful. The breakfast was very good, and they try to source with local and pure foods. This is a museum disguised as a hotel. There are ruins from the 14th century in the basement where breakfast was served. I would come back here.

David och de andra var mycket hjälpsamma. Frukosten var mycket god, och de försöker använda lokala och rena livsmedel. Detta är ett museum förklätt som ett hotell. Det finns ruiner från 1300-talet i källaren där frukosten serverades. Jag skulle komma tillbaka hit.

This hotel is a little gem, 3 minutes from Gamla Stan metro and very close to ferries, buses, shops and main attractions. Hotel itself is fascinating with loads of memorabilia on the HMS Victory. Hotel breakfast was amazing, gluten free and lactose free milk available, and plenty of breakfast choice from English breakfast, continental and always loads of it. Rooms were clean, spotless and coffee/tea available at end of corridor. Hotel staff were amazing, special thanks to Stefan, David and Sebastian on reception who helped me with my complicated allergen food needs. Cannot comment on restaurant as not used due to my allergens, but it was fully booked all the time so that says it all. A fantastic experience and Stockholm was beautiful.

We stayed 4 nights in a Captain’s Junior Suite as a couple.

Positives:
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has beautiful antiques that add a lot of charm. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area.

Negatives:
Unfortunately, the overall attention to detail was lacking. The bread at breakfast was never fresh, and the hot chocolate option on the coffee machine was broken for all four days, with no alternative offered. Scrambled eggs were consistently runny, and the inside of the elevator was visibly dirty. Our bed cover was worn and dirty, which felt disappointing for a hotel of this rating.

The air conditioning in the suite was noisy and didn’t cool well. A fan was brought to the room on the second day, which helped, but it wasn’t ideal. We were also surprised to find that the hotel bar was closed for the summer.

Overall:
Given the hotel’s high rating and price, we expected more. While it wasn’t a terrible stay, it was definitely below expectations and left us somewhat disappointed.

We stayed 3 nights at the Victory Hotel. It's like spending the night in a museum with all the nautical antiques and considering its location. The locations is absolutely perfect for enjoying all that the \"Old Town\" has to offer (e.g., history, architecture, shopping, dining, etc.) Our room was very quiet and safe. What stood out to us was the exceptional staff (shout out to David) and fantastic breakfast buffet! Oh, and they have a great sauna that we used as well!

Great location in Stockholms old town. The hotel rooms were small and quite poorly lit but very quiet, no noise from the street as the hotel is on a quiet street in an otherwise bustling region of town. Ideally located for dining, sightseeing and accessing transit. Mattresses are way too soft!
The staff are very kind, helpful and friendly.

This is a 'theme' hotel (its decoration has a very nautical focus, centered around the Battle of Trafalgar). The rooms are named for various sea captains, and the decoration follows that lead.

So it is quirky, but nice and comfortable. My wife and I really liked it.

The daily breakfast is quite good; but we did not eat in the restaurant -- there were plentiful options throughout Gamala Stan, just steps away.

One caution: the hotel's floors - at least, the one we were on - have two levels, connected by two steps. Might present a challenge for some visitors.

This hotel was amazing. It is in the old section of town and close to all the wonderful places in Stockholm such as the lovely shops, palace, and restaurants.

The breakfast was top notch and far exceeded our expectations. Services by staff was excellent including tips on restaurants and getting us a early morning cab to the airport.

I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

It was like staying in a museum, loads of wonderful artifacts to admire. Very convenient for the old town, loads of restaurants. Only downside was the bar was small and usually full of diners so virtually impossible to just go for a drink.

It’s a quant hotel with a lot of character. We were really happy until the second night. Our room windows opened to a courtyard restaurant and bar. Literally our windows would hit chairs at a table when opened slightly. The loud music and talking prevented us from going to sleep until midnight. That was unacceptable.

Excellent stay in Stockholm, right in Old Town ( Gamla Stan).
We had a large room , very comfortable king size bed, spacious bathroom, all the toiletries were great quality, organic and eco friendly. There is an Nespresso coffee machine with provided coffee pods. Excellent service, friendly and professional, a lot of excellent suggestions on what to do and places to see. Breakfast was abundant with a large variety of very tasty local items , the restaurant and bar on site has excellent local cuisine ( highly recommended).
Truly an awesome stay in beautiful Stockholm. Highly recommend this boutique hotel not only for the quality of their amenities and superb service offered but for the location of it, walking distance to a lot of stores, restaurants and interesting places to see.

The hotel is designed to evoque a ship, and ir is a bit run down. The staff are kind and effective. It does have an EXTRAORDINARY restaurant and a passable breakfast.

However, the room was small and not well equipped. More importantly, the room and especially the bathroom were not very clean when we arrived (this got better on latter dates.

Fantastic Gem of a Hotel

The staff was absolutely fantastic. They gave me advice on where to go for dinner, they helped me to find a lost pair of AirPods that I left at a store and their service was as good as the Four Seasons I have stayed at in Beverly Gills, San Francisco and Las Vegas over the last two months. Absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself had a terrific restaurant and they prepared a dinner for me at the bar 10 minutes after the restaurant had officially closed. Just an amazing experience - and the old city / Gamla Stan has really gotten terrific new restaurants and stores since I was last in Stockholm about 5 years ago.
