They should pay more attention on cleaning! The room wasn’t so clean when we check in , a lots of dust. The rest was ok , room was big enough, staff very friendly and nice !

Smell like sewage in the room and bathroom its look like sometime room was flooded so lots of black spot on the floor a/c was not working properly i put on high but its takes hours to be improve temperatur i take off my shirt i didnt need to use comforter i complain but they didnt fix

Good hotel. Simple.. No frills. Close to lots of good restaurants
15-20 mins walk to the blue mosque area. 10 mins walk to the Grand bazaar. Lots of trams and buses around.

They made a really beautiful gesture for my little boys birthday by bringing him a cake to our room with candles. Thank you

The rooms might be basic but there are large.

We had a double bed and two single beds. There was plenty of space in the room. Water bottles, slippers and toiletries were provided.

Breakfast was basic. Could do with some fresh fruit. I asked for some things and the kitchen staff were happy to help..

This is an old city but adequate for our weekend break.

The worst place I've ever stayed in. The staff was nice and helpful but other than that the cleaning service sucks. We had a bracelet stolen from us and they didn't do anything about it. The area is very noisy also.

The heating system of the hotel and the room was very weak and useless, the air in the room was really cold and they did not take care of it every time we informed them, the condition of the breakfast was not good at all, and the facilities you mentioned in the hotel, such as the bar, etc., did not exist at all. By the way, the photo of the terrace that you posted was not available for the hotel at all. Please let us know in the next reviews.

The hotel Offer spa THERE IS NO SPA..the hotel offer room service NO ROOM SERVICE..the hotel offer terrace restaurant THAT DOESNT EXIST, rude front desk personnel, NO ICE IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL, the first day the house keeping lady entered our room with a men!!! We were sleeping and they decided check the toilet, a men inside our room without permission!! Unacceptable.... terrible hotel go to another place Please!!

Don't recommend those who travelling with families,pathetic hotel not a four star in any way, washroom are clogged lights are fused,leakage everywhere.the staff on the reception always said tomorrow he will change the room each and every one who check in.but that tomorrow never comes feel like haunted hotel like hotel transvellia because no lights in corridor and in hotel lobby,very bad location on stiff hill

The hotle had good location in the centre of old town, walking distance to Grand bazar and not far from Blue Mosque. It is a small hotle. When we arrived to Istambul airport we couldn't find our transfer shuttle and had to use metro snd then trumway to get to the hotel( about an hour) After leaving the last stop it was heavy raining and took us a while to find it.After changing we were very tired and also hungry. Asked at the reception for s good place to eat. He recommend a restaurant called Calamar fish bar close by. We were very disappointed by the service and food of the place. The Kebab was not cooked properly and had to cook it again, the tast and quality was very poor plus it was more expensive. So that was not a good start for our first stay in this beautiful city. The room had tea and coffee making facilities but smelled during the night( old carpet) very noisy(no double glasing) and we couldn't close the window properly. The breakfast was also very basic. May be this hotle is good for the small traders who are coming to buy staff locally not for tourists or holiday makers.
Apart from the hotle, the area was very good. The Grand bazaar was amazing, the blue masque and other local shops were beautiful. The people in general were very kind, friendly and honest.
We had a great time during our stay and would recommend Turkey one of our favourite holiday destination.

Not a 4 start hotel

The hotel is an old building location on a hill so you need good exercise every day to go out and in , also all SPA service is not free you have to pay .
The breakfast is moderate it can't be a 4 star hotel breakfast .
The hotel location is beside all transportation and sight seeing can be done only by walking distances , also it is near the fish market restaurants 10 min walking.

We could not get the A/C to work very well, and the location of the hotel was not the best. The picture of the exterior of the hotel is not what the hotel looks like. And I'm not sure which interior rooms the hotel posted, but they must be in the Penthouse, because our room was small and cramped - nothing like the photos. Could not get the internet password to work. Only stayed 1 night, so didn't check the other ammenities

Staff made the hotel worth it

A few things weren't great - the air conditioning didn't work and the heat was stifling, the showers were cold and took ages to warm up, the rooms are small (but if you've stayed at Boutique hotels in Europe this is not that different) but the staff really try hard to make your stay a good one.

Price should have been 1/2 what I paid

The hotel is close to the Grand Bazaar and within walking distance of all the sites in the old city, so location is ok. However, the surrounding neighborhood is a bit rough and if you walk 5 minutes too far in the wrong direction, you may not feel comfortable. This would all be understandable if the hotel was comfortable and felt like an escape off the street-- but this was the problem. The air conditioning did not work and the room was very dark. It is right next to a mosque and the dawn call to prayer was EXTREMELY loud from my open window (no A/C). Pay an extra $20 - $30 for a better hotel in the area. Not worth saving $20-$30.

Fine Hotel but without AC

Stayed 3 night. The hotel is near grand bazaar and blue mosque. The room was fine but the AC didn't worked and it was very hard to sleep. I was told that AC will not work as it is pleasant outside. I even asked for a fan so that i can sleep well unfortunately they didn't had a fan. I was told to open windows of my room and sleep but it was too noisy outside. It is a fine hotel but only if AC works. Hotel staff was good and food was fine too.

Great Location and Great Hotel

It wa a pleasure, from the manage to the bell boy, everyone was very polite and friendly. The location was great only 5 minute from the Grand Bazar. We loved the hotel and my wife and kids did plenty of shipping.

Dark, Dingy & Smelly: Not My Assos!

The first thing that hit me when we walked into our room was the dreadful smell, it was really dark, congested and smelly. The windows opened out onto a block of dilapidated flats which looked like a ghetto. There AC didn't work and the noise and commotion from the streets continued till the call for morning prayer (4am). We booked a room for 2 adults and three kids and were given 1 double and 1 single bed for all 5 of us! We were told that is how they accommodate a family of %, that coupled with the heat (ac not working) and noise meant very little sleep. The linen and towels looked grubby so didn't dare use.Breakfast was very basic: bread, jam, yoghurt etc. The hotel is situated on a very steep hill in a very busy area. However, if you want to be close to the Grand Bazar, this was a 5-10 minute uphill walk away. Would not recommend unless there is nowhere else to stay, definitely not 4 star according to anyone's standards, would struggle to be a 2*. Did not have a kettle in the room for tea/coffee and had to pay extra for it!

I don't think this is a four star hotel. The breakfast was quite poor without any fruit. It's quite central with very easy access to all major touristic attractions. The staff was not very friendly either.

It was in old istanbul tight rds hotel was clean tidy comfortable, staff at reception good, swimming pool they wanted extra to use it, but its small and not nice anyway, close to tram and blue masjid topkai palace about 20 min walk, all shops restraunts close by.. Overall goood

Good hotel if you're looking for a bargain

Overall, this was a good hotel, though I agree not a 4-star. You get what you pay for, so for a low price it was a good deal. There is a spa/hamam in the lower floors, but there was nobody there when we tried to go in. Here are the pros and cons:
PROS
- Great location - five minute walk to the Grand Bazaar, 15 to Blue Mosque. Yes it's several blocks down the hill, but no big deal for us.
- Decent restaurant with buffet breakfast (included) and dinner (extra charge, but reasonable prices).
- Nice staff. Most spoke little English, but the front desk folks spoke it well.

CONS
- There's a mosque right across the street, so bring earplugs if you don't want to wake up to the 4am call to prayer.
- The A/C didn't work. No big deal for us since it was cool most of the time, but it might get miserable in the summer.
- Very small rooms. We booked a room for two adults and a child and they literally had to wedge the extra cot in between our bed and the wall.
- Thin walls. Not only could we hear the people in the next room, but there was a wedding reception in the the restaurant one night, and the music could be heard in our room (we were one floor below).
- Wireless Internet in the rooms is spotty. In our room, the signal was weak if you stood by the door, non existent as you backed you went into the room. We had to go into the hall.

This is definitely not a 4-star hotel, but if you're looking for a low-cost, low-frills hotel (place to sleep, not to hang out), this is it.

I expected a little more as they rate as 4 star. Definitely not that level. They are more like a 2 star. The location is in Beyazit area w/c is great, however it is in the buttom of the hill. You have to walk up 5 steep blocks to get to the main road & a couple more blocks to Grand Bazaar. For young people, it's okay but I do not recommend this place for seniors or anybody that have walking issues, or knee problem. I also made transportation arrangements directly to the hotel to be picked up upon arrival at the airport at 1AM. Nobody picked me & my 2 daughters up. We ended up taking a cab. Because of that I give them a 2.

Für 2 Tage Zwischenstopp war dieses Hotel optimal geeignet für uns.Es ist sehr sauber,frischbezogene saubere Betten, top Klimanlage,Kühlschrank,Föhn sind vorhanden, nur das Mobiliar ist runtergekommen was jetzt für uns nicht schlimm war. Das Frühstück ist typisch Türkisch wie Menemen, Pommes, Gekochte Eier,Börekrolle, Brot,Simit, verschiedene Käsesorten- und Gemüseaufschnitt. Aufstriche wie Schokocreme,Butter, Marmeladesorten, Honig,Tahin mit Traubenmelasse. Tee, Kaffeesorten, Wasser, Cornflakes und Müslisorten und Milch, für jedermann was da.
Der Ort des Hotels ist zu Fuss 5-10 Min. Nahe der \"Beyazıt Meydanı\" und \"Kapalı Çarşı\".Dort gibt es auch eine Metro Haltestelle wenn man nich 30Min. zu Fuss zu \"Mısır Çarşısı\" & Blue Mosque/Sultanahmet Camii laufen möchte. Sind zufriedene Gäste, vielen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter.

Bad experience, everything was bad , 4 stars hotel !!! I think this should be less than 3
Poor breakfast , even the place where the breakfast serviced is really dark under the ground

Nothing working shower broken , electricity cables hanging outside the wall , it is not safe , moisture in the walls , tow many broken things , not finished renovation on bathroom , need to be done

It is very noisy from inside and outside , construction around the hotel , working late night and early morning

don't get trapped

It's the worst hotel I've had and I don't understand how it's a 4 star hotel when it doesn't deserve more than 3 stars.
In short, the room is tiny cleaned with the water of javal when there is cleaning (there are times when the cleaning is not done).

The breakfast is very poor and low-end, if I tell you that the juice is only a mixture of syrup with water, I let you imagine the rotten quality of breakfast.

The insulation is poorly done, we hear the discussions of the neighbors during the evening (we can't go to bed before everyone is asleep) and also in the morning we are woken up by the noise of the street

It was a wasted stay because of this hotel.

Geloof niet in alle fotos van dit hotel.bij aankomst kamer was niet schoon en lag er overal gebroken glas.zwembad sauna turksbad waren dicht.geluid overlast van buiten en binnen. In de kamer hoor je alles door de muren heen .geen variatie met ontbijt.
Douche kop stuk.
