An average hotel with a fantastic terrace view!

If you want a convenient hotel to explore by foot all attractions in Sultanahmet area and enjoy breakfast with a great view of the Bosphorus, Sayaben Gold hotel can't be beaten. It is also convenient to catch the ferries whether you want to go over to the Asian side or to Seriyar on the European side. Eminonu port is only a 12-15 minute walk.
To enjoy this convenience, you may have to sacrifice some services that you expect a hotel to have. We spent 3 nights here in late August 2018. There was no shower gel in the shower. The man at the front desk gave us small bottles of the shower gel with a promise of filling the container in the shower the next day. It was never filled. The coffee supplies were never replenished. There were no cups to drink water. The breakfast buffet, served on the terrace, could also be improved. Instead of fruit juices, there was fruit punch. The coffee was instant and there was no toaster to toast bread slices. On the positive side, one can enjoy the ferry and ship traffic on the Bosphorus while having breakfast. The roof terrace is always open, and we enjoyed the night views as well.

Very nice location, close to everything

If you want to visit the tourist attractions of Istanbul without car then this hotel is a right choice. Hotel is small and budget,room not big, but perfectly adequate.Hotel location is perfect.Also they do provide breakfast.

We stayed there for 3 nights. During our weekend they were really nice and helpful with everything. The breakfast was really good. The room is small, but clean, but if you are planing to visit the city, not to stay in your room all day long, then it's perfect. The service was really nice. We definitely recommend this hotel and we would like to go back to Istanbul and stay here.

Great location, quiet and close to all highlights of this part of the town. The breakfast was fantastic with a marvellous view of the Bosphorus. The rail station, metro and ferry quay were all a 2 minute walk away. Amazing value for money.

Greatest ciy - awesome hotel

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at Sayeban Gold Hotel in June, 2015. The hotel and its rooms is clean and nicely decorated. Hotel's stuff is responsive and helpful. One of the main hotel's pluses is location: silent street but all the great Istanbul attractions and the city's transportation systems in the walking distance. A small minus: although breakfast has many options and very delicious - almost no meat. Btw, my wife don't see it as a minus.

Vom Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist das Hotel gut. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig mit wenig Stauraum. Das No-Go ist das Bad.

Nicht zu empfehlen !!!!

Ich empfehle dieses Hotel niemanden. Noch nie war ich in einem so runter gekommenen Hotel. Das Zimmer hat nach Schimmel gerochen und war total verschmutzt. Die Decke war voller Schimmel und die farbe halber ab.
Die Matratze war so alt, dass man die metall Federn an den Rippen gespürt hat.
Wir haben es nur eine Nacht dort ausgehalten und sind in ein anderes Hotel.

Sehr zentrales hotel, mit schönen Ausblick von der Terrasse. Frühstück war ausreichend man wurde satt. Die Sauberkeit des zimmers war ok die Zimmer wurden täglich aufgeräumt aber nicht gereinigt frische Handtücher waren auch immer da, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit

kleines Hotel zentral gelegen

Das Hotel ist für mein Empfinden von der einfachen Art. Das Beste ist seine Lage, fußläufig 5 Minuten zwischen zwei Tramstationen gelegen. Eine Tramstation von der Hagia Sophia entfernt. Beim Empfang haben wir vorerst einen großen Schrecken bekommen - unsere Buchung wurde zuerst nicht gefunden. Das Zimmer nicht übermäßig sauber, ein großes verbogenes Bild, das über dem Bett hing, habe ich nach unserer Ankunft abgenommen, aus Angst es könnte über Nacht herunterfallen. Einge Flecken an Wänden und an Kacheln im Bad. Etwas liebloses Zimmer, dafür aber ein wunderbares breites Doppelbett mit einer großen Doppelbettdecke, das alles Negative an dem Zimmer in den Schatten stellt.
Am ersten Morgen beim Frühstück ( zwischen 8 und 10.30 Uhr) dann ein wunderbarer Ausblick auf Istanbul -natürlich nur einen Teil-.
Für Gehbehinderte ist der schöne Frühstücksraum kaum erreichbar: Nachdem man mit dem Fahrstuhl in den 5. Stock gefahren ist, muss man noch ca. 15 Stufen absolvieren und die ca. 8 obersten davon sind ohne Handlauf. Die Auslegware des Frühstücksraumes ist mit einem riesigen Flecken nicht mehr sauber zu nennen. Das Frühstück war nichts Besonderes, aber auch nicht schlecht. Man durfte sich auch Kaffee und etwas zu essen mit aufs Zimmer nehmen, was ich dann auch für meinen gehbehinerten Freund gemacht habe. Beim Frühstück wurde man nicht beobachtet oder belästigt durch die Angestellten, was ich sehr angenehm fand.
Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit bei Fragen. Alles ok

Gutes Hotel in optimal zentraler Lage

Empfang und das Personal sehr freundlich und sogar teilweise auf deutsch. Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Transfer sehr günstig und zuverlässig. Einziger Manko im Badezimmer Schimmel an der Decke und an den Rändern unten an der Dusche.

Fürs Preis Leistung aber dennoch zum verkraften und gerne wieder.

Das Personal war freundlich aber zeitweise überfordert. Zimmerservice gab es nur am ersten Tag. Angeblich war das Personal erkrankt, so dass keine Reinigung des Zimmers oder Leerung der Abfalleimer mehr stattfand. Dusche und Bad waren voller Schimmel und das Frühstück eine Zumutung (Weißbrot vom Vortag; verklebter Pulverkaffee).

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vom Hotel aus sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist landestypisch, ausreichend und wir fanden es lecker.Der Blick von der Terasse auf den Bosporus begeisterte uns ebenfalls.

Superlage, gute Internetverbindung, damit hat es sich mit dem Positiven. Negativ: kein Zimmerservice obwohl 3 Nächte Aufenthalt. Erinnerung an das Serviceteam wurde mit \"no Problem\" quittiert, um wieder nicht gereinigt zu werden. Probleme mit Schimmel in zumindest 2 Zimmern. Sicher nicht mehr wieder.

Für den Preis ein super Hotel und sehr zentral

Die Zimmer waren sauber und für einen Kurztrip völlig ausreichend. Das Frühstück war gut sortiert. So hab ich mir ein türkisches Frühstück vorgestellt. Wir konnten dort lange sitzen ohne darauf hingewiesen zu werden, dass die Frühstückszeit vorbei ist. Es wurden alle Sachen immer wieder aufgefüllt. Das einzige: Der Kaffe war nicht so gut.

kurze Wege zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Allerdings nicht gepflegtes Hotel. Schimmel in der Dusche und an den Decken. Freundliches Personal. Schlechtes Frühstück (an einemTag keine Butter, da angeblich der Verkäufer geschlossen hätte). Täglich frische Handtücher und sauber gemacht.

Gute Anbindung an Metro, Straßenbahn und Fähren sowie Bosporus-Touren und Bus-Sightseeing Touren. Der Topkapi Palast, Hagia Sofia, blaue Moschee sowie großer und ägyptischer Basar sind fußläufig erreichbar. Ebenso zahlreiche türkische Restaurants und Souvenirläden.
Die Zimmer sind relativ klein, für einen Kurztrip aber durchaus ausreichend. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung - es gibt eine türkische Auswahl aber auch Marmelade, Käse, Gurken, Tomaten...
Es war nicht picobello sauber aber auch ok. Wie gesagt: Preis-Leistung stimmt.

E' stata una pessima esperienza.La camera che ci è stata assegnata, la numero 502, era molto piccola la TV non funzionava (è stata riparata il terzo giorno) il soffitto del bagno presentava tracce di muffa. l'armadio molto ridotto aveva uno sportello che non funzionava.La colazione, servita al piano superiore,
era molto modesta, era difficoltoso accedervi, la scala scarsamente illuminata.

Hôtel bien situé, bon rapport qualité/prix

L'hôtel est situé tout près des principaux sites de visites, Topkapi, Sainte-Sophie, Mosquée bleue mais également du Bosphore. Bien connecté aux réseaux de transports, métro depuis l'aéroport. Merci à Houssama pour son accueil chaleureux.

Kleines und feines Hotel in TOP LAGE

ein tolles Hotel mit einem einfach nur extraklasse Team, das Highlight ist natürlich die Dachterrasse, dort muss man gestanden haben wenn zum Gebet gerufen wird.. diesen Eindruck mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht vergisst man so schnell nicht. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet da man alles Fußläufig erreichen kann und trotzdem ist es ruhig gelegen.Ich bin nächstes Jahr noch einmal im Sayeban Gold Hotel und freue mich riesig darauf.

Man får meget for pengene på dette hyggelige lille hotel . Det ligger i gå -afstand fra alle seværdigheder og på en stille vej . Dejlig tagterasse med en fantastisk udsigt over strædet

Let at finde fra lufthavnen . Tag metroen og derefter sporgvognen og stå af i kvarteret så er du 5 minuttters gang fra hotellet . Glimrende Shuttelservice fra hotellet 5 euro til lufthavn . Fungerer upåklageligt også kl. 3 om natten hvor vi skulle med

Kleines Hotel in guter Lage

Vom Hotel aus ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Falls doch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel benötigt werden ist der Sirkeci Bahnhof für Metro und Tram in 3 Minuten erreichbar. Die schöne Aussicht vom Frühstücksraum auf Galata war ein Highlight.

- bei Ankunft wurde uns gesagt das Hotel sei überbucht und wir würden in einem Partnerhotel untergebracht werden - wir beharrten darauf in diesem von uns gebuchtem Hotel ein Zimmer zu bekommen. Nach einigen Telefonaten und der Bitte 20 min zu warten bekamen wir nach 1 Stunde unser Zimmer im Sayeban Gold Hotel
- Zimmer sehr sehr hellhörig!!!
- Zimmerreinigung legte uns ein stark verschmutzes Handtuch hin
- Frühstücksterrasse karg eingerichtet und mit verwelkten Pflanzen dekoriert
- Frühstücksangebot könnte vielfältiger sein (zweite Brotsorte, Joghurt, mehrere Teesorten)
- Mitarbeiter nicht gerade zuvorkommend (Auf die Frage hin einen Stadtplan zu bekommen, zeigte der Mitarbeiter der Rezeption auf einen Tisch mit Foldern und meinte \"da muss einer sein\")

Leider anderes Hotel wegen überbuchung. Dort war es sehr dreckig und sehr laut. Lage jedoch sehr gut. Flug gut. Eine sehr angenehme und schöne Stadt.

Mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt

Das hotel liegt im Zentrum der Altstadt und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß in nicht einmal 30 Minuten erreichbar (5min Hagia sophia, blaue moschee, Topkapipalast)
Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr hell, es gibt eine Dachterrasse mit Blick über istanbul und auf die wunderschönen moscheen! Der Park liegt unmittelbar neben dem hotel.
Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich, man könnte sich den ganzen Tag über im Frühstückssaal Saft, Wasser, Tee nehmen. Die Mitarbeiter haben uns auch gerne türkischen Kaffee/Tee gemacht (kostenlos)!
In allgemeinen waren wir sehr zufrieden und danken dem hotel herzlichst für die Gastfreundschaft!

Familiäres kleines Hotel in Altstadtnähe

Wir haben uns in diesem kleinen Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Alle Angestellten sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.
Das Frühstück war türkisch, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt, waren sehr sauber.
Am besten war die Terrasse, schon am Morgen hatte man den wunderbaren Blick über das Goldene Horn zum Bosporus, man sah die Blaue Moschee und Topkapi, die Galatabrücke und den Turm, und am Abend dann alles beleuchtet - einfach herrlich!! Auch abends durfte man die Terasse benutzen und mitgebrachte Getränke und Speisen verzehren, wir haben jeden Abend die wunderschöne Aussicht genossen.
Sehr vorteilhaft war auch die Nähe des Hotels zur Altstadt. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen!
