My stay was great , the hotel was in good condition, rooms well equipped and clean when I arrived. Lots of parking which cost €8. Staff extremely friendly. Only minor complaint was I stayed 4 nights and left the note on the door to clean the room twice but it was never cleaned. As it was an apartment, the bins were full to overflowing. Still a minor issue and I would use again

Nice hotel, shame they charge to park

I like the hotel a lot, but they charge for parking (there are many stores with huge lots nearby so the only people using the lot are staying at the hotel). The machine to pay for parking was broken so you had to do it at the front desk. Otherwise, a clean and pleasant stay.

Nice hotel, but you have to pay for parking

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. The thermostat didn't seem to work well, so the room was quite warm (it was April). I like the hotel layout and the have a (small) hot tub and sauna area. They only thing I hate is that they charge you for parking (even if you are staying there). There isn't really a reason for non-guests to be there (not much in the immediate area that doesn'thave it's own lot), so it's kinda dumb.

Overall good, but could be improved.

I like this hotel. We try to stay here when we are in the area. It has a small pool and spa with nice views. Generally clean. The downsides: It charges you to park which is stupid because there is not much in the immediate area that would have people parking there unless they were guests. The soap they provide at the hotel is terrible. It smells gross (like almost a musty smell) and it does not clean. You smell just as stinky after showering as you did before. You should bring your own soap (or buy some at the nearby grocery store). This time they gave us the geriatric room which had all kinds of handles and an emergency pull cord if we fall off the toilet. It's nice that they have that, but it was weird to be given that room when we are a couple in our early 30s... In short, its a good hotel overall, but there is definetely room for improvement.

We booked a 4 star hotel and got an old shabby apartment.matress and pillows were horrendous, still got neck and back ache. We had one bath towel between us two, and had to share one quilt between us. NO room service as it was an apartment and they wanted to charge us extra €7 for cleaning. Breakfast option was not booked with Expedia which we were not aware off. As we tried to have breakfast they wanted to charge us €30/day.
We noted in our booking on Expedia that we required "late check out" - which they totally ignored and wanted to charge us another €30 for staying 4 hours longer. Seeing we paid £400 for 4 nights this is an utter joke. The worse 4star I ever stayed in. It felt like the hotel is run by RyanAir!!! Never again!!!!

This will be my favourite stop in Germany

The hotel has easy access from A38 motorway and it was our night stop on a way to Poland from England. The quality of room and standard of cleanliness was really good. Bed sheets were clean and crisp, fluffy towels, superb bathroom and hotel lounge /restaurant. You wish this place to be your longer than 1 night stay.

we stayed for 3 nights on a short break,used the hotel bikes to explore the surrounding lakes where you can get a drink have a meal and relax,Leipzig is not far away to visit and we ventured out to Colditz castle which was about 35 mins away and was well worth the trip.

I've stayed at a number of hotels in Leipzig by the hauptbahnhof, but decided to give Atlanta a try for something different. I reserved a 2 room apartment with kitchen and air conditioning, but unfortunately this didn't work out. I was first assigned a room in the "boarding house"? not sure why. It was a 2 room apartment with a kitchen, but had no aircon (a major deciding factor in where I stay, I like to be cool!). The front desk was always helpful and courteous throughout my entire stay, they really are the best thing about the hotel, Stephanie in particular. They arranged for me to move the next day to a 2 room apartment in the main hotel with aircon, but no kitchen. Since aircon outranks kitchen in my book, I packed up my things and moved only to find that the a/c was so weak we ended up just having to open the windows anyway. It made for an inconvenient/uncomfortable stay, and on the warm days, impossible to sleep in. There is an amazing shopping center right next door, but not much else in the area. It's about a 25 euro taxi ride into the center of leipzig. On the morning of my arrival, the girl at the front desk asked housekeeping to rush a room for early check in, which was greatly appreciated. Again the staff are terrific, if it's winter and you don't need a/c the rooms in the main hotel are very nice, probably better if you're going to rent a car as it is a bit out of the way.

Great hotel for people and pets

It was easy to find from the airport, just 5 mins off the motorway. Thank god there was a shopping mall inside the big Globus supermarket which was a 1 minute walk from the hotel, because there was nothing else around. The hotel was situated in the middle of what they call an Industrial Estate but it didn't seem like it. It was a 20 min drive from Leipzig city centre. I would stay there again.

Really good hotel with good service.
Our double room (in the Atlanta boarding house) was large with a big bathroom and it was very clean. There was no air-conditioning but 2 large opening windows meant we were cool at night. We had a room with a corner kitchen and as there is a big supermarket right next door, open 8am to 9pm except Sundays, we were able to buy food and prepare our own breakfasts, packed lunches etc and keep the wine cool! There was enough kitchen equipment to cook a simple meal, if need be.
We tried the fixed price buffet in the hotel restaurant on 2 nights. It was good food and the service was very good.
Parking was free in a very large car park at the rear of the hotel.
This is a big hotel and it was full when we visited but that did not affect the service we received at all.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

Zimmer und Mobiliar sind abgewohnt. Achtung Allergiker: da in dem Hotel Haustiere erlaubt sind, war es für uns sehr allergiebelastet. Man kann das wohl bei der Reservierung angeben. Dann kommt man in ein Zimmer auf einen Gang ohne Hunde. Die sitzen dann aber im Restaurant. Nicht schön.
Frühstück für 20€ war ok aber nicht für Kinder, die nur 1 pancake essen.

Gute Lage mit ein paar Unannehmlichkeiten

Der Aufenthalt im Atlanta Hotel war in Ordnung. Die Sauna war klasse, generell wirkt der Fitness und Wellness Bereich modern und sauber. Leider war der Whirlpool defekt, auf den hatte ich mich eigentlich am meisten gefreut.
Das Internet ist eine Katastrophe, daher hat mich die Rezeption in ein anders Zimmer gebucht. Das Umziehen hat mich leider einiges an Zeit gekostet, da ich schon ausgepackt hatte. Die Rezeptionistin war zwar freundlich, aber wirkte sehr gestresst. Das Housekeeping war aber klasse, sie haben mir das Shampoo, welches ich im anderen Zimmer vergessen hatte, vor mein neues Zimmer gestellt.
Leider war das Bett ziemlich hart und das Zimmer sehr hellhörig.
Ich finde daher das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht wirklich stimmig. Hier bezahlt man für den Wellness Bereich mit, das Frühstück für 20€ war dann allerdings nicht mehr im Budget. Schade

Voor dit type hotel aan die prijs verwacht ik minstens gratis drinkwater en een waterverwarmer met koffie/thee op de kamer, met eventueel een kleine kamerfrigo, en verwarming uit de airco, maar geen van allen.
De kamer was bovendien zeer afgeleefd met zwarte vlekken en strepen op de muren, vieze vlekken op tapijtvloer.
Het ontbijt was echter zeer uitgebreid en lekker.

It was noisy in the evening/night due to various meetings and parties. The room was not even cleaned during the stay and you had to get fresh towels yourself. The towel in the room had been hanging there for so long that it was yellowed and dusty. The non-smoking room used to be a smoker's room (as was my colleague's) and smelled strongly of cold smoke. Breakfast was the only bright spot.

Wir sind am 23.12. Angereist. Unser Zimmer war im 4. Stock. Im Zimmer gab es keine Preisliste zur minibar oder Information zum hotel. Der Teppich hatte mehrere Flecken. Die Gardine war schmutzig. Im Bad waren die Gläser schmutzig. Die Handtücher und das Bett war sehr sauber. In unserem Zimmer lagen Kabel unter dem Nachtisch. Laut hotelbeschreibung gibt es auch kostenlose Parkplätze leider wurden diese uns nicht angeboten.

Vi boede på 7 sal med fin udsigt ind mod Leipzig, der lugtet af klor på hele gangen og du blev mødt af en varm “mur” når du gik ud fra værelset hvilket vi så som en kæmpe ulempe. På værelset lå der gamle Chips på gulvet og i badeværelset var der rigtig mange hår i brusekabinen.

Foyer, Bar und Restaurant sind modernisiert. Aber die Zimmer haben abgewohnte Wände und Teppich. Der Teppich hat kaum noch Farbe und macht keinen wohnlichen Eindruck. Ansonsten war alles sehr sauber im Zimmer, aber abgewohnt. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen!

Bad hotel experience

So many things went wrong!

First they could not find our booking, even of I showed them my reservation with name and bookingnumber...

We had booked a nonsmoking deluxe room with bathrobes and coffee machine. Did not get anything of that.. Instead we got a smoky doubleroom where the towels and even bedsheets were smelling like a cigarr!

We complained before departure, but did not get any compensation for their mistake of the room...

The spa area is very small, with one small jacuzzi for 2 and a sauna for 2, which means that the other 8 guests (max 12 in the area) only can sit and watch the others enjoying...

We took the evening buffé, which was a huge mistake! Fish and chicken is ok but tasted nothing, like boring hospital food with no salt or spices. You hade to pay extra for getting a cup of coffee, and even water...

Sött, will not come back again!

The only thing that was ok with the staying was the well sorted breakfast with bred, yoghurt, scrambled egg, bacon, pancaces and even coffe...

Stetig sinkende Qualität, nicht mehr zu empfehlen

Ich bin dort schon seit einigen Jahren zu Gast. Nicht weil es toll ist, sondern weil es verkehrsgünstig liegt, ansonsten eher unterer Durchschnitt. Wie immer hatte ich um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten, wohl wissend, dass abends die Barbesucher rauchend vor dem Eingang zu Gange sind und an Schlaf nicht zu denken ist. Auch dieses Mal bat ich um ein ruhiges Zimmer mit Frühstück und bekam eins auf der Rückseite, ein Stockwerk über dem Abluftkanal der Küche, der von 5:30 Uhr bis 23 Uhr in Betrieb ist und eher an den Teststand eines Düsentriebwerks unter Volllast erinnert. Also alles andere als ruhig. Beim Frühstück um 8:00 Uhr war das Buffett von den frühaufstehenden Handwerkern schon leergefegt, die kläglichen Reste lauwarm und am zweiten Tag betreut von einem jungen Mann, dem man vielleicht sagen müsste, dass man Hemden auch bügeln kann, wenn man im Service arbeitet. Nachdem ich schon im vorhinein bezahlt hatte und die Rezeption wieder einmal nicht besetzt war, legte ich bei der Abreise meine Zimmerkarte dort ab und fuhr los. Kurz vor der Autobahn ereilte mich der Anruf einer schnippischen jungen Dame, die verlangte, dass ich zurückkomme und mein Frühstück bezahle. Ich habe ihr gesagt, dass ich das eigentlich schon bei der Buchung erledigt wähnte, scheinbar war es nicht so, beim Einchecken gab es auch keinen Hinweis. Also umkehren und zahlen, natürlich wieder niemand an der Rezeption. Man meinte, ich hätte auch beim nächsten Mal zahlen können. Es wird kein nächstes Mal geben !!

Enttäuscht, das war dort mal deutlich besser.

Badewanne verstopft.

Seife im Bad war gefüllt aber es sah aus als wenn kleine Industrie Öl Flecken mit heraus kommt. Dies kann sein wenn es zu alt wird und die Qualität sehr schlecht ist.

Da ich sonnst immer vor Ort gebucht habe war ich überrascht das man am ende 5 Euro pro tag abgebucht hat.

Dies wurde mir nicht gesagt als ich das parkticket für die 4 Übernachtungen bekommen habe.

Große Anlage alle Türen waren abgesperrt.
Wegen corona.
Riesen Umweg dadurch bis man beim Haupteingang wieder heraus kommt.

Personal an der Rezeption schlecht geschult.
Haben mich 20 Minuten an der Parkplatz Schranke stehen gelassen weil die Technik nicht ging , habe 5 mal angerufen hat keinem interessiert um rauszukommen .nie wieder

Die Zimmer waren schön groß. Das Hotel eignet sich gut für Kurzaufenthalte. Allerdings sollte man mobil sein,denn, auch wenn es direkt dahinter eine Bushaltestelle gibt ist die Anbindung sehr schlecht. Mein absoluter Kritikpunkt ist die fehlende Zimmerreinigung. Nach Angabe des Hotels zur Kontaktminimierung. Sollte nicht grade jetzt vermehrt Wert auf Hygiene gelegt werden? Selbst auf Bitte an der Rezeption erfolgte weder Reinigung noch Handtuchwechsel innerhalb von 6 Tagen. Bei der Eingangstür ( eine Drehtür zum Selbstanschieben), am Empfang, in den Fahrstühlen konnte ich nie eine Desinfektion beobachten. Und das bei vielen Senioren im Haus.Ich hatte Blick auf den Globusmarkt. Die Wellnesseinrichtungen waren leider immer noch geschlossen. Also Wohlfühlen war es nicht.

Okay,freundliches Personal,sauberes, gepflegtes Zimmer, allerdings ohne Kleiderschrank und mit unbequemen Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Frühstück war gut , die Organisation bemüht .

Nie wieder!

Ich hätte gern ausführlicher geschrieben, doch leider steht nur eine begrenzte Zeichenanzahl zur Verfügung, daher fasse ich mich kurz.
Im Internet angepriesen: 4-Sterne-Hotel, barrierefrei, kostenlose Parkplätze, freies W-LAN, Minibar, Designer-Möbel.
Realität: Nicht barrierefreier Gebäudetrakt, kein W-LAN, Internet mit LAN-Kabel mehrmals täglich ohne Empfang, keine Minibar, sondern leerer Kühlschrank in einer Pantry, Designer-Möbel aus dem Möbeldiscounter.
Mit einigen Dingen kann man leben, aber mit einem in vielen Jahren vergilbtem Toilettensitz, verschmutztem Bodenbelag, Rissen in Fugen und Kacheln im Bad, Rissen in Tapeten wird es schon grenzwertig.
Durch die Risse in den Fugen/Kacheln auf der einen und Risse in den Tapeten über dem Bett auf der anderen Seite hatte sich Feuchtigkeit in der Wand angesammelt und ich wurde morgens von einem Silberfischchen an der Tapete begrüßt. Ich habe sofort meinen Koffer gepackt und bin abgereist. An der Rezeption wurde mir auf meinen Hinweis auf die Zustände mitgeteilt, dass der Gebäudetrakt, in dem ich untergebracht war, nicht klassifiziert sei.Das steht allerdings nicht im Internet, sondern dort wird ohne Hinweis auf Einschränkungen das 4-Sterne-Hotel beworben.
Fazit: Das Einzige, das in diesem Hotel vier Sterne verdient, ist das Personal, das stets freundlich und hilfsbereit war.

Ein schönes Hotel mit freundlichen Service. Etwas abseits gelegen, dafür ruhig. Wegen Corona einige Einschränkungen, für die jedoch das Hotel nichts kann.

Das Zimmer war geräumig, bei den 4 Übernachtungen wurde unser Zimmer nicht einmal gereinigt. ( wegen corona) bezüglich Handtücher Wechsel und Toilettenpapier mussten wir uns selbst kümmern. Es gab keine große Auswahl beim Frühstück, es hat lange gedauert bis etwas aufgefüllt war , einmal mussten wir 30 Minuten auf die Brötchen warten . Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral.

Personal teilweise freundlich. Nicht mal eine Flasche Wasser im Zimmer, Betten sehr unbequem, magere Ausstattung der Zimmer.
