The hotel is rather rundown, the bed was comfortable but the room could have been cleaner. I did like the breakfast. Also there is a rooftop pool which offers excellent views of the surrounding area.

Location is rather far from the heart of Kuta - the surrounding area is rather drab. Hotel was simple and clean enough although the rooms had very thin walls so it could get quite noisy. In general, the hotel looks like it's seen better days. Staff were friendly otherwise.

The breakfast was amazing. A huge spread of food each morning with many different options. The breakfast staff was SO nice and helpful. They were immediately attentive and constantly refilling food. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, very responsive. The hotel is close to the airport in a great location for shopping or catching a taxi to the beach. The gym is the best gym I've experienced in a hotel ever before. The pools are gorgeous. And the room service is delicious and very well priced. We ate room service nearly every single night. It's also 24/7 room service so if you work late or just need a midnight snack, they're always available. Overall, a fantastic hotel, especially for the price. I've never had so many great amenities at such a great price before!

A good poolside and a good rooftop breakfast but terrible location, nothing interesting nearby, traffic to head to nice things, and the air conditioning in the room almost doesn’t work - deal breaker for me! The room needs to be cool and comfortable and beautiful- that’s the real experience for a tourist! Bali is pretty hot in May so good air conditioning is important!

One of the maids or housekeeping staff broke the glass to the balcony while I was away to an island on Lombok and right when I’m checking out - late to my flight by the way they said I had to pay because it was guest liability. Because I was going miss my flight I paid it but will definitely complain to the hotel management.

Staff was very unprofessional, they just let sit there waiting and I have to asked if the room is ready also there were no staff offered to help with your luggage. AC inside the room was leaking and water dropping from the ceiling! It looks like the hotel has not been maintained properly and left the next morning ASAP!!!!
Terrible!! DO NOT stay at this hotel!!!

Nice hotel. Didn’t spend a lot of time in there due to sight seeing and exploring the island.
Breakfast is lovely and lots to choose from. Rooms were clean on arrival, however safe didn’t work and staff never came to check after we asked.
Fresh bottled water in room given every day which was lovely.
Stayed at Christmas time so very busy which means the hotel being a slight further walk than the main hotels near Kuta Beach was more beneficial when needing a taxi to different places as less traffic!
Spa massage was lovely.
Pool area was clean and nice.
Staff polite and friendly

The room was on ground floor and had a potent sewer smell, the AC was leaking and damaged some of my clothes. Room 1110. Once issue was reported nothing much was done. No room change. The safe was not reset and had to wait 1 hour for somebody to reset

The room I stayed was very noisy as it is close to the reception area and the hotel is too close to the road where traffic is very busy. The room is also very dark as the balcony is covered. The price is good and the gym is great. One has to trade off between these factors when considering this hotel.

Comfortable hotel with a good gym for a hotel. Good roof top open air breakfast buffet. Air-conditioners in rooms leak water and create a puddle on the floor. Disappointingly the Wifi was very poor everywhere except the lobby. Room servicing was patchy - every day they'd forget something and it was impossible to get them to come back (One day I tried calling reception 4 times to get towels with no luck! ).
Served as a good base for our first week in Bali but there is nothing in the local area so we needed to get a cab to sites and restaurants.

This hotel is a very big and modern facility. It's the polar opposite of the small little boutique hotels we stayed in in Bali. The hotel lobby, full of tourists checking in or checking out, reminded me of the bustle of casino hotels in Vegas, yet the staff was very friendly and attentive: which is a no small feat when you you consider how many guests they deal with every day.

The two pools are beautiful. Our room was very comfortable. The laundry needed some attention as my partner's \"fresh\" bath towel had what looked like a food stain on it and there were makeup marks on our sheet (lipstick or blush...I couldn't tell for sure). Otherwise, the room was neat and tidy. Room service was prompt. The area immediately around the hotel is not particularly interesting, but a 30 minute stroll gets you to the beach. The airport shuttle which cost 150,000 rupiah or $11 US was easy to arrange and got us to the airport swiftly with a 30 minute drive time.

Overall, this hotel was a very good value for the money and we were happy to have stayed there.

The wifi in this hotel was not good. I chose the hotel because i read it would be good for a business traveler, but it was not. The staff is friendly, but not helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, but they let people smoke at the table. So if you like 2nd hand smoke, you will love it.

I stayed in Ramada for two days with Family. Excellent ambience and service by the hotel team. Added advantage is the Krishna super market which is having almost all range of product and most important is no need to Bargain:-). The hotel is also not too far from the Airport and in a way better that we don't get stuck in the usual traffic around the Kuta area.

Tika from reception arranged flowers & a birthday cake for my Daughter in Law for Christmas Day and arranged for them to be delivered to the restaurant for breakfast and the restaurant staff were fantastic. A most enjoyable day thanks to Tika.

I have stayed here 5 times in the past year and I can not talk highly enough of it. The rooms are always fantastic, and the facilities are brilliant. I love that it is a 10min uBer ride away from the beach and even offers a bus service that will take you to the Beachwalk Mall for 20k. It is so quiet, and peaceful that I prefer it to the craziness around Kuta, especially for the price!

Half way between town and airport.

Firstly, it is the Ramada now so we drove past and then had to have our driver wait while we confirmed first before check in.
We only needed overnight so stayed close to the airport rather than in another area. It is close enough to catch a taxi to other areas including Seminyak so that wasn't a problem. Nothing close by and a bit dark so not good for a short walk around the area.
The reception staff struggled with English but we got through that. There isn't baggage service but we didn't really need it.
We stayed in a junior suite. The beds were good, balcony a good size, couch not very comfortable, and kitchenette was useful. Unfortunately the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The toilet area smelled a bit which means the floor could do with a good mop. Breakfast was good.

You need to improve your room cleanliess, especially the towels were yellowish and looks dirty, too many ants... one concierd (middle aged) is very poor manner though being greeted and never return, no smile, I think he does not like his job...but the spa on top floor was very nice with good people!

This hotel was great! The rooms are fantastic, many food options (restaurants and room service - both reasonably priced), the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooftop infinity pool was amazing, made it feel like a real retreat. The only issue we had was our air conditioning unit froze up and took a while to start working again (FYI it got quite humid during that time...). The room service was quick, cheap and the food was actually pretty good. There is an Italian restaurant in the lobby that serves stone-baked pizza, pasta, etc and was really delicious and also pretty cheap. The breakfast buffet was incredible - hot foods (eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, local dishes), cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, juice, etc. They also had a few good tv channels if you're needing some entertainment. The hotel was about an 8 min drive to Kuta center, the hotel runs free shuttle drop off and pick-up which is very convenient. Overall, a very good stay.

I have always stayed here...I visit Bali every 2 months.
I will consider other hotels now.

No 1 reason....a certain, particularly well spoken and very helpful marketing manager has....resigned.
this man was my main reason for staying here.

Get your act together....owner/CEO/Boss...or whatever you call yourself

...I would say....pathetic.
my reason....I was given a good $rate for extending my stay.
On my return .... a few days later...you advised check in staff to almost triple my $rate stay.
Hhmm not good ya..and your occupancy % rate is ????

Large family room needed at short notice

As s result of the volcanic ash cloud and our existing hotel full we had to look at other hotels while our flight was delayed.
Jumping onto the Expedia website we wanted a large clean family room with A decent pool, gym and Internet close to the airport.
The hotel ticks all of these boxes. It is not a hotel you use for vacation.

Enjoyed my stay

I'm very happy of choosing this hotel.
Staff is amazing and polite always smiling for you.
This hotel has 3 pools which is must be staying in Bali to cool down after hot and exhausting day.
They have an A class gym, which was the main feature of my choice.
We stayed at room which was at the basement level, it had a smell of humidity, but it would not change my mind of staying here again.

Sunset Road doesn't lead to the sun...

This place was overall \"good\".

Positives:
The food! I ate dinner, breakfast and lunch here. Probably because there was nothing around it. I was pleased each time. The offerings were perfectly flavored, the portions were huge and everything was fresh!
The bed! the pillows and mattress gave me very restful sleep!
The pools!!!

Negatives:
The spa. Worst massage I had in Bali and I had maybe 15. The spa itself is pretty rundown. The massage table was super uncomfortable and felt like it had been broken and badly put back together. The massage itself was saddening. My therapist seem to be checking off mental boxes instead of reacting to my physical needs. She communicated poorly and the water in the soaking tub was cold.
the plumbing. When you first open the water it smells like Florida, i.e. a swamp. It is also not clear. I didn't realize this until I tried rinsing a white coverup. The water was so yellow it permanently stained it. I ended up washing it at my next hotel with vinegar and that worked.
The shower. Mine didn't flow well and since it wasn't build to use gravity and drain this meant I had to rinse off the shower every time I used it while standing in the corner.
The shuttle schedule. Based on their distance from everything I expected the shuttle to run more often. But Kura Kura tourist bus stops here.

Good Location, New Hotel

We book for 1 night for family vacation, book for deluxe (standard room) and can't make earlier check in @ 12.00 PM, because the staff said that they was fully booked, and they are suggesting to upgrade the room with additional charges but we declined the offer as we only stay for 1 night. Breakfast option was quite good. Rooms are comfy but standard size. The only minor was the location was situated on the main street of sunset road which the noise can be heard from our room. Choose the room which are pool facing instead of side/wall facing.

Nobody spoke any english ,

Extremely disappointed in our stay in Bali this year although the Hotel was new and lovely, nobody there understood us and therefore couldn't help us when we tried to explain our hotel room key wasn't working on numerous occasion , also there was only 2 beds for a family of 4 in which I told them we had 2 children with us. Everyday we had to explain we needed 4 towels not 3 but still nobody understood . Very disappoint that instead of saying that they didn't understand us they just kept nodding and then nothing was done to help us . Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. We asked to redeem our points with our Best Western Hotel rewards card and once again they said they knew nothing about the card even though as we spoke about it it was being played on the T.V. screen above us .. Too Funny

Outstanding Service

We visited the Best Western with a very specific purpose in mind......quiet. The hotel we originally were staying in had a wedding scheduled that was very noisy and disturbing. We checked into the Best Western and after a lovely dinner on the roof, settled into our room. Our neighbors came in and got rowdy. When that noise went on for too long,we asked to be moved which happened immediately. Our second room was much quieter and we had a restful night. Breakfast was a large selection of foods to choose from. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

A hotel for local business overnight stays rather than vacation. Roof top pool is very small with only 3 sun loungers. Hotel bars were comfortable but empty. Situated on a busy main road, too far from the beach to walk though there is a free shuttle bus each day at 10.00, 13.00 and 18.00 dropping off in Kuta square (pick up is at 13.20 and 18.20).
Nothing to do in the immediate locale,
Beware if travelling as a couple, there is a see through window between the bedroom and the bathroom/toilet area, there is a let down blind on the shower window, which provides some privacy though is not practical when showering. No furniture on the balcony and the sliding door didn't fit the frame properly so the air conditioning struggled and you could hear the road through the night.
Complimentary breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice.

Great find at great location!

I didn't realize how good this hotel was until I stepped into the place. The location was extremely convenient, just a short drive away from Seminyak and Kuta. The hotel was definitely a four star, but with a 3 star price. I was impressed when we arrive as the place is more amazing than the pictures. Overall, we were pretty impressed with the hotel. With the price, it's one of our fantastic find in Bali.

For a new hotel, the Best Western was clean, modern with excellent facilities. The rooms are A grade, the pools and gym were fantastic. free fast Wi Fi. Don't know why any one would book a hotel without it?
Breakfast was one of the worst I have eaten in for many years, apart from an egg station everything was bad, plus getting a taxi seem to be a big wait.
All in all, good value for money, found the location an actual plus, located between tourist areas gives you more options of areas to explore, all a few taxi dollars away. Apart from Breakfast, good hotel.

Airport transfer was arranged to pick us up at the airport. We've waited almost half an hour but e chauffeur did not turn up . We called the hotel n they said he's otw. Waited again but nobody turn up . At last we decided to take e taxi Otw to the e hotel e chauffeur called. Feeling angry,tired, n upset, we jus couldn't bother to pick up e called. Once we reached e hotel we complain abt e pickup service. They jus says sorry n nothing else. E next day we decided to go shopping at Kuta. E hotel provided shuttle service to Matahari mall. They told us e last pickup time was 6.20pm at Matahari mall. After a very long exhausting walk at Kuta, we decided to go back to hotel n hv our dinner. We've waited at Matahari mall at 6pm before e pickup time. Waited till 6.40pm but e shuttle did not arrive. We thought that it will be late coz there was traffic jam. We called e hotel n they said the van had left. Waited another 15 mins still no sight of the van with e hotel logo BEST WESTERN. We've called e hotel again n again n they give e same answer..otw.. At last after waited for 1 hr, we took e cab back. Once again we scolded the front desk for e bad service. To make things worst, they explain that e pick up point was not the place we're waiting. It was e other corner of e road. We told them it was one of the front desk staff who told us to wait there. They said that she was a trainee n did not told us correctly. Next, on that day they use an unmarked vehicle without the BEST WESTERN logo to do e pickup. How were we suppose to know that!! Service could hv been better if they well trained their staff n timing is always important.

Everything was perfect except for the location!

Great service, tasty breakfast, clean rooms and great and helpful staff. The only downside was that the location was so of. There was nothing to do around the hotel within walking distance. However the hotels provides shuttles to town so that was good. If you don't mind taking a taxi or buss 10 minutes this is the perfect place and everything at the hotel is just great.

When you come to a place like Kuta you don't want to feel as though you are in Kuta, and let me assure you this is the place to be! With fantastic service, brilliant rooms and spectacular roof top amenities you will be happy you chose to stay at best Western Premier! I will be back and wished my stay was longer than just 3 days!!!

Disappointing Reservation

Rooms in this hotel are very small, and all hotel rooms are non-smoking rooms. It's quite expensive. The hotel staff are really freindly. Best Western Group doesn't owe this hotel, I think they just have agreement or rent or something like that. I don't know how do they thinking . specially I got a reservation from the hotel to best western mega kuningan Jakarta and they told me it's differnet owner . When I reached there I found a small building called a hotel. I don't know how to discripe it to you. Finally , Stay away from ( Best western group )

Great staff is the only clear asset of this hotel. We booked a good rate thru hotels.com and they gave us the broom closet...even though there was plenty of room in the hotel. THERE WAS NO WINDOW IN OUR ROOM! Lobby and dining room plays incessant mind numbing music, non stop. Its like living in Donkey-Kong Land. Chairs in dining room are so uncomfortable you want to lay on the floor. The top floor pools are bizarre. Only two seats to rest out of the sun. No umbrellas. Other than good breakfast, the Dining room menu was pathetic. Bed was comfortable.

I flew into Bali late in the evening and just stayed here overnight before transferring to my resort in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. It was smaller than I expected based on the photos, but that was my only complaint. The spa and breakfast were both good.

infinity pool on roof, bottom pool with swim up bar was not in use probably due to low season and not many guests. I had a room facing pool so was very quiet. Drink prices are expensive. Over 50000rp for bintang. Staff very nice and helpful. Mini marts less than 5 min walk. Taxis are cheap. Very comfortable bed.

This hotel has a lot of friendly staff. It's an old building, so I had some expectations, but the damp floors, dented wallpaper, and red-colored towels show how little the owners invest in the facilities. Particularly disappointing was that we asked for extra towels, but the edges of the towels that came in were separated. It was a misconception that they gave us that on purpose. There were a lot of hygienic concerns to use with children. We booked it for sleeping only, but the night was very difficult.
