Lovely old fashion hotel

Don’t expect a new modern hotel. But for the price it was perfect for me. The room wasn’t too small for ‘European city hotel’, bed was very comfortable and very cute old fashion design. Shower wasn’t great and I can imagine the AC not being enough for very hot periods. Staff was always welcoming and helpful. Location is great, breakfast wasn’t fantastic but good enough for something small before heading out.

Excellent location close to Porta Nuova station. My room had part of an old painting on the ceiling! Staff were very pleasant . Some might find the beds a bit firm, but they were good for my back. Pleasant lounge and continental breakfast. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Worms and bugs!!!! And terrible service!!

Got in at midnight and upon entering I knew it would be a problem. The entrance is cluttered and dirty. Hallways are cluttered and dirty. There is a stench of mold as you walk to your room. Then not surprising there was a worm on our bed linens and towels. I refused to stay there for health concerns for me and my child. I switched hotel at 1 00am in the morning having to walk to neighbouring hotel. Then was charged for my stay!!!! Not acceptable to pay for a room which I did not stay in due to their cleaning standards! Owners are despicable!!! nobody should booked this horrible place!!!!

This is a budget hotel, but the room was clean with a decent bathroom, character and had a safe in the room etc. The check-in was quick and the breakfast had a lovely varied choice. Can't grumble at all for the money. Would definitely come again.

Will be my home in Torino. (!) Absolutey phenomenal location. Central, old-town Torino. Those Gilden Age marble apartment blocks, so European, like Paris. Great, inexpensive restaurants just next door. Great, great Italian restos. 10 minute walk to the River Po. Super grateful staff. They genuinely are *happy* you are there, and do everything in their power to make you happy. They actually make you fell good. And you're all happy going to the phenomenal restos next door. Very happy camper. <@_@>

Friendly staff, located at few steps from the train station, close to restaurants and cafes, the shower was a bit small, in general the hotel was in good shape. The only bad thing is there was a funny smell in my room which I'm not sure what was causing it but it wasn't too bad to disturb me.

Clean, simple and friendly, close to transport

Very friendly welcome on check in. Room was a reasonable size, warm and clean. Bed was comfortable. There was a mini-bar in the fridge but no price list. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower was good, except the screen was not properly attached and was hard to close. Breakfast was the typical Italian fare but lacked any savoury options except plain bread. There was a faint smoke smell in the room which seems to be not uncommon in Italy.

Good WiFi in room.

5 minutes' walk from Porta Nuova train station and the nearby bus stops.

I would stay here again for an overnight when needing to get the train/bus.

Very clean close to public transportation

I like this hotel it's very clean and close to the train and other public transportation stuff speak English the only concern I had while I was staying is the the fridge I have kids I need to keep some food and drink for us the fridge doesn't work and also at night it's nousy you have to close windows since there are bars and restaurants around in general we liked it

A Pleasing Stay

I spent 5 nights at the Due Mondi and I enjoyed it. The location is perfect, approx 250 meters from Torino Porta Nouva train station. This is the closet station to the old part of town. A couple of the back streets can be a bit dodgy late at night so stick to the main streets if you are out and about. The hotel is about 100 meters from one of the main streets in Turin.

The hotel is quaint, clean and the staff were very helpful & courteous. My room needed a coat of paint as it looked tied. Be advised that if your room faces the street, it can get a bit loud late at night o either ask for a room not facing the street or close the window. The window in my room was double glazed so once closed, noise was no longer an issue.

There is an excellent restaurant attached to the hotel and another restaurant a few meters towards the main street. But if you're looking for something like \"pub grub\", around the corner on that main street is an English styled pub. Food was good and the beers reasonably priced. I also found a laundromat nearby and advised the owner to a drop off of flyers to the hotel. I also helped him write English instructions on how to use the facilities.

Everything was good. The hotel is situated in the very centre of the city and it is 10-15 minutes walking distance to almost all interesting and historical place. Unfortunately, there is no bar in the hotel and no minibar in the room. Nevertheless, the general estimate of the hotel conditions and its stuff is very positive!

Hotel was needed for an overnight and we chose this one due its location It is a 2 minutes walk from the rail station plus the majority of the sights are within 15 minutes walk. It is just off the main road which is great for
bars. We visited the Huntsman Pub and had a great night. The hotel staff
are very friendly and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and provided us with a map and directions. The hotel is average with nice bathrooms and it is kept very clean. Bedding was clean and fresh. The room
on the first floor looked down onto a small courtyard. Breakfast was basic
continental. The colour scheme for the hotel is colourful e.g. bright pink
carpet on the stairs. Our room was in orange. All quite quaint.
Very enjoyable would definitely stay again if in Turin overnight.

Great value and a friendly service in Turin

I booked a room at the Hotel Due Mondi last-minute based on the location being near to the train station and a good nightly rate. I was very pleased with the choice. The hotel is a very pleasant place, the staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Wi-fi cost extra and was slow but that was not an issue as it was fine for checking emails etc. My room was large, well furnished and very clean. I couldn't get the air-con to work but again that wasn't an issue during my stay as I could open the window for some fresh air. Some of the decor in the hotel is a bit unusual, but glance up at the ceilings, they are quite beautiful. Another thing to watch out for is the neighbourhood. I felt safe enough around the hotel, even at night, but nearby there is a 'sexy shop' and you will see women hanging around on the street corners looking for business. That said, the location was good and it was easy to walk to most of the major attractions of Turin. I would stay again but would check on the air-con first if I was there in the height of summer.

The hotel lives up to a 3 star standard, and possibly 3.5. The location is close to many of the great attractions of Turin. The rooms were kept clean and tidy even though they skimped on the tissues in the bathroom, ended buying a box ourselves, no big deal. The WiFi can be patchy depends on the location of the room, and they charge 3EU for the service. We had to change rooms in order for it to work acceptably. Car parking is limited and it cost 10EU per day, and you must leave the keys with the front desk. All else is quite acceptable and living up to its 3* standard and its not trying to pretend to be anything more. Great value, would stay there again.

The hotel was centrally situated, near the station. Since the station was also where the airport bus stopped, that was convenient too. It was only a short walk to most of the city's attractions, the others being reached from the nearby station. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was all one could ask for and made a good start to the day. I would certainly say there again.

Torino - I loved it :)

This hotel is in a fantastic location - five minutes or less from the regional train station Porta Nuova and also a Metro station (they were literally around the corner). Like a previous reviewer, I too was impressed with Torino and I wish I had done my research because I couldn't see everything in the one day that I was there. The Museo dell'Automobili is highly recommended for lovers of cars.Torino felt like a very safe city with friendly people and it was nice to be away from the crowds of tourists (even thought I'm one of them!). The Metro system is very modern with driverless trains and modern train stations.
The hotel itself provided a very good breakfast, a very comfortable bed and it was very clean. The cost of the internet connection was 3 Euros and then the time was unlimited after that so I thought that that was reasonable.
I definitely plan to go back to Torino and I would definitely stay at this hotel again :)

It is one block from Torino Porta Nuova (a major consideration for anyone lugging 30+kg of luggage as I was), it has good restaurants and bars/cafes nearby, and is reasonably close (walkable) to shops and tourist-attractions (e.g. Il Castello). The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped with a shower with elbow-room and a heated towel-rack (as well as a toilet and bidet). The room was spacious. The bed was nice and big and comfortable (neither rock-solid nor gelatinous). The climate-control was great (i.e. the AC worked). The wireless internet was fast, reliable, and reasonably priced. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Torino.

L’emplacement est très bien, nous avons tout fait à pied, mais le chambres ne sont pas modernes comme sur la photo. Litterie moyenne. Mauvais Etat de la douchette, espace petit sans rideau ni vitre, on eclabousse tout le wc à coté.
Parking payant à l’hotel, juste devant sur le trottoir, 15 par nuit. Pt dej correct.

Hotel in una posizione ottima, a 80 mt. Dalla stazione e a 15 minuti da piazza Castello, ottimamente servita dai mezzi di trasporto pubblico. Personale molto cortese, ma le condizioni ormai fatiscenti della stanza, e nonostante fossimo al 4° piano, gli infissi poco insonorizzati ci facevano pensare di essere al piano terra con le finestre aperte.

Accueil correct, mais nous n'avons pas pu profiter du petit déjeuner car nous sommes partis trop tôt.
La ou je suis déçu, c'est qu'on nous dit dans l'annonce qu'il y a un parking à l'hôtel, mais on oubli de préciser que celui-ci coûte 15€. Étant arrivés à 22h30 pour repartir à 6h, ça fait un peu cher. Je regrette aussi que l'hôtel ne réponde pas au mail.

Non basterebbe un libro per parlare della mia esperienza in questo hotel da incubo. .. Spero solo di mettere in allerta altre persone che potrebbero disgraziatamente capitare in questo \"hotel\". Uniche note positive sono la posizione e la signora della receptionist che ricopre il servizio pomeridiano.... Tutto il resto è da dimenticare. Camere del primo piano da terzo mondo cadono a pezzi... Ci hanno propinato un letto da una piazza e mezza e una stanza minuscola anziché matrimoniale e stanza da 18 mq. Per fortuna ci Cambiano la stanza dopo le mie rimostranze e dopo una notte passata in bianco in due in un letto minuscolo. Ora arriva il bello... ciò che è accaduto sarebbe da denuncia e deve mettervi in allerta da ciò che potrebbe capitarvi e dal rischio che correrete a lasciare vostri oggetti personali in camera.Arriviamo la sera convinti di dormire nella nuova stanza ci viene detto che tutta la nostra roba ci é stata spostata d'ufficio in un'altra più piccola perché la nostra stanza serviva a un'altra coppia. Inconcepibile!!Hanno avuto il coraggio di frugare nelle nostre cose... Ci hanno rifatto la valigia toccando tutto... Messi calzini sporchi assieme a biancheria pulita... rovesciato sui vestiti boccetta di un mio medicinale...messi spazzolini a contatto diretto con lavabo senza cappuccio di protezione... Cosa gravissima... HANNO APERTO LA CASSAFORTE!!!!(Per fortuna non c'era nulla). Non so se hanno preso tutto... Sicuramente mi avranno perso qualcosa. Non finirà qui...

Es un hotel viejo,.poco cuidado. El primer dia nos dieron una habitacion horrible no podiamos entrar en la ducha, la cama insufrible. Como se lo dijimos nos cambiaron a una mejor.

Ho trovato l'hotel molto silenzioso ma poco pulito, l'aria condizionata non funzionava, gocciolava, ho chiesto un ventilatore perchè era troppo caldo in camera. La wifi non funzionava.

La camera che ci è stata assegnata aveva il condizionatore molto rumoroso, nn raffreddava e privo di telecomando. Quindi Nn si poteva regolare o spegnere. Finestra con persiane che nn si aprivano e piene di ragnatele. Ci siamo fatti cambiare stanza. Condizionatore da terra che puzzava all accensione. Il mattino dopo abbiamo trovato uno scarafaggio nel piatto doccia.

Personale gentilse e sempre disponibile, camera abbastanza confortevole anche se per il caldo avrei preferito n aria condizionata molto più fresca ma son gusti personali e comunque non ho patito il caldo.Ottimo crocevia per Torino dove a piedi in pochi minuti di distanza puoi arrivare ai monumenti e musei piu importanti della città.Ad un minuto da Porta Nuova in circa 100/200 metri usciti dall'hotel puoi trovare ottime pizzerie e ristoranti. Perfetto per me ci ritornerei in caso di passaggio a Torino.

ただ寝るだけのためなら良いと思います。
シャワー、ドライヤー共に勢いがなくあまりリフレッシュ出来ませんでした。
Wi-Fiもかなり不安定でした。
隣の部屋の声が聞こえて来ます。
宿でくつろぎたい人にはお勧めできません。

フロントの人はだいたい良い人で空港までの行き方、チケットの買い方など質問した際に丁寧に教えてくれました。

Ottima location vicino stazione ferroviaria

Ottima posizione in quanto si trova nel quartiere di San Salvario a circa 50 metri dalla stazione di Porta Nuova. A pochi passi si raggiunge il centro città. Buon rapporto qualità /prezzo. Gentili e accoglienti.

il peggior hotel in cui sono stata. Camere sporche, maleodoranti, bagni vecchi, macchie evidenti di umidità nei muri, fili elettrici scoperti, telefoni e phon non funzionanti. igiene e sicurezza pessimi.

Good location, reasonable price.

Location good and easy to find. Room was clean, but not very big for 3 persons. Good for stay of couple of nights, but not for longer visit. Wifi was working slowly. Good choice, if travelling with train.

Personale gentilissimo e molto professionale. La camera aveva un odore di chiuso e non era ben pulita. L'hotel ha delle ottime potenzialità secondo me non sfruttate appieno. La colazione non è stata molto gradevole, la sala non era ben curata e i tavoli non decisamente puliti dopo essere stati utilizzati. Nel complesso un soggiorno piuttosto deludente.

silenzioso, pulito, comodo

È comodissimo per chi arriva a Torino in treno: 100 Mt dalla stazione, quindi in pieno centro. la prossimità della stazione non deve spaventare: l'hotel si trova in una strada quasi non trafficata e molto silenziosa. le camere sono pulite e comode e anche i bagni sono puliti. se non si presta attenzione al fatto che comunque nell'insieme è una struttura che dimostra i suoi annetti il rapporto qualità /prezzo è davvero valido.
