Roma were extremely clean, bed & bathroom where comfortable and water was hot.
The AC on the room was not working, so I asked the staff and they politely offer a fan.
Jacuzzi can be used but only when paying additional money.

This place was great! Our hotel room looked like it was straight out of an old Hollywood movie with its double level and balcony to sit outside and look onto the street. The staff was great and the location was an easy walk to amazing sites! We would definitelty stay here again and recommend it!

The family room was spotless and very spacious for 2 adults and an older teenager. The breakfast was incredibly good value with a range of hot & cold food, plenty of choice. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. And the location was perfect, everything you want to see within walking distance and next door to one of Turin's railway stations. However on saying that there was no noise and the 3 night stay was comfortable and we all slept really well in comfortable beds. Would definately return to this hotel.

Great base for a 3 day trip to Turin

Really convenient hotel right beside the railway station (quite spectacular and worth a look) but not noisy. Easy walking distance from shopping in the Lagrange area, museum of the Rinascenti, the Palazzo Réale and the Sabauda gallery. Lots of local restaurants. Pleasant staff and an excellent breakfast for 7€. Parking was a bit if an issue - used on-street close to the hotel at 10€ per day which was fine but finding a space was a bit of a challenge.

This hotel is conveniently located directly across from the train station for those arriving in Turin by train.
The room we occupied was quite spacious for the three of us and very clean. The breakfast room is large and offers a very good selection of breakfast options. The only downside for our stay was the lack of wifi for the first day due to an outage in the area.

We asked for a room with a balcony and we got one on the inside of the building looking at an old apartment building with laundry hanging over the railing. No view!!! The whole building was encased with mesh, because they were working on it. We should have been notified and then we could have made other arrangements. All in all very disappointing

It was quite a nice stay, clean hotel and polite staff. The only unfortunate aspect was that the entire hotel was covered by construction barriers as it was being painted during our stay. So we weren’t able to enjoy the beautiful view or access our quaint little balcony. Maybe next time.

Ideal shoreline location close to train station

3* hotel ideally located next to the train station, and within a short distance of big name shops, the metro and the bus stop (service 30) that connects you to Caselle Airport via a 45 min. journey.

There’s not much to do in the area behind the hotel but plenty of things to keep you entertained in front including shops, museums (highly recommend a visit to the Egyptian Museum) & dining all within a max 20-25 min walk.

Hotel was clean; we had a non-smoking quad room on the top corner of the 4th floor which was very spacious, had good storage options and a very good bathroom.

Sky TV will keep the kids entertained, there’s an adequate mini-bar. Veranda style doors opened out on to the street where the views are ok, at night the doors did the job and kept most of the street noise out allowing you to get a reasonable night’s sleep. Temp. was around 30C and the air con definitely helped. You get the usual tea & coffee refinements, we also requested an iron & board which was promptly provided.

Staff really pleasant and helpful - spoke English. The lobby has a waiting area and a bar. Breakfast is €4/person but the hot/cold food is food is average and a little limited in choice. On the day we ate, ee were the only ones there.

Be aware there’s a €2.80/person/night city tax to pay on checkout which is a little pricey if your planning on staying a few nights.

Overall an great location and a good base to explore the area.

The hotel staff was great - helpful and friendly. There was an unbeatable breakfast buffet special. The location was good as well. The room was updated, but the AC was off, and opening the window made it very loud. The biggest turnoff was the overpowering smell of drains when the room was shut up for any length of time.

Check-In - Got caught behind a large group so a little slow, but really put off by the rude and surly behaviour of the female staff member who dismissed me because i wasn't part of the group. Was rescued by her colleague, who was helpful and checked me in quickly.

Room - Upgrade request honoured from a standard room to a fantastic top floor corner room, room 440, which was surprising and really appreciated, great views from 2 balconies.... main road so noise to be expected! Comfy four-poster bed was great! Bathroom was a little tired but more than made up for with a bidet and great hot water/shower pressure....BUT ....Wi-Fi was non-existent, at best it was really really poor in room and at times in lobby!!! Had massive Wi-Fi problems, which may have been due to the nature of my extreme room on the top floor, further away in the corner of the building. But then I tried the lobby and common areas and had much the same issue! My room was very good, I suspect others would be just average.

Location, convenient, easily walkable to most places ... some decent eateries nearby

Generally a decent place ... good nights sleep, and very convenient; Worst point of it was the non-existent/erratic WIFI and the staff's surly attitude and behaviour, and lack of common customer service.

In particular was embarrassed by the hotel staff when they shouted after a business guest of mine to demand their ID before passing past reception. Not discreet or polite!

it was ideal location to stay , but at times it was quicker getting taxi as it was cheaper & faster, fantastic juventus stadium recommend stadium tour&musium.As hotel bathroom & shower water went everywhere as no shower protector/shower curtain on the bath. Needs modernising disappointing compared to others

Having come from a Best Western hotel near Venice it was a bit of a shock arriving at the Hotel Genio. This is a city centre hotel so we can understand limitations of space and location but the hotel is looking very dated and tired inside. Our room had strongly patterned wallpaper and a strange metal four poster bed with a curtain around the top. It just looks very old.
The air conditioning was very old too and didn't provide any cool air.
Breakfast was okay but no staff ever spoke to us so we were just left to fend for ourselves. We prefer tea at breakfast but the hot water container didn't have any heating element so it was random how hot the water was when you arrived.
For the money we paid I was disappointed compared to other hotels we used in Italy and for another trip I think I would pick somewhere more modern even if it was slightly out of the city as the Metro is very good.

Next to Porto Nuova Train Station

Stayed at Hotel Genio for 1 night on our way to Venice. Our room was large and clean. Hotel is located next door to the Porta Nuova train station, which is why I booked here. Coming in from Paris late at night and didn't want to be walking around in the dark hunting for the hotel. There didn't seem to be too many restaurants or cafés right around the hotel, but about a 10-15 minute walk and you were in the middle of everything.

A bit dated but great location

Located right next to main railway station and great location to downtown shopping and dining. Hotel is a bit dated although many of the rooms have or are being renovated. Some rooms are quite dark and very small with 90cm twin bed, others are a bit larger and quite ok. Some reno work on some floor.WiFi works ok and breakfast is ample. Parking is not at hotel but at an old underground, protected parking garage, where they parked the car so tight that they had pushed it into a spot and again had to pull it out by hand with only fractions of inches to spare to the next car (scratched my mirror somewhat but declined responsibility). Would stay there again if I had no car, otherwise would probably select a hotel with easier parking.

This hotel was convienent to the main square - just across the street. The hotel staff was very accomodating, the rooms were quite large as was the bathroom. I very much enjoyed that the towel rack was heated as being from Florida - it was cold in Turin in November!!

Great value, lovely rooms & a great breakfast

If I am being honest I really was not expecting much from this hotel. I picked it due to its central location and reasonable price. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, the room was huge! 20 feet high ceilings and everything. We even had an outside balcony area. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Unnaturally for a hotel the free wifi was extremely fast, I measured it at 6mb. Breakfast was excellent with a very impressive selection of foods - they even had one of those little pod coffee machines. The hotel is perfectly located for all the main site of Turin. Turin is a beautiful with lots to see and do. I would strongly recommend this hotel for your stay in Turin.

Weekend in Torino

I stayed in Torino and searched throughout the city and found this hotel was the best combination of price, breakfast included, right downtown, fast wifi, gym (pretty nice for a 3 star) and spa...but didn't end up using the spa as it is only open 3 hours a day and has a fee to use it.

The most disappointing part were the female front desk staff...the man was better so he saved my rating from being a 1...

When we got there everybody was very friendly. They answer any questions you have and when you needed something they would take it to your room. I have to say the breakfast was super great! They had american breakfast and of course italian breakfast. I have to say they have fresh pie every morning and they would always refill everything for breakfast so you pretty much would be able to taste everything. Another thing is this hotel is located downtown and you can go from there to all the museums. One thing that is not close to is restaurants but they do have a restaurant close that had very delicious food.Another thing if you need a safebox they are free of charge.The one thing that I did not like is that since is very downtown you hear the traffic but other then that the bed is very comfy so once you are asleep you dont even notice the noise. I would defiently recommend this hotel to anybody that would go visit Turin :)
