A pleasant hotel very close to Torino Centrale station and an easy walk to the main attractions of the city. Very personable, helpful staff. Room was pretty small but comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean but needed an upgrade, especially the shower are where the sealant and grouting need replacement. Good breakfast in a nice dining space.

Cannot complain considering the price. Nice but small rooms, clean. Reserved parking space outside was very convenient. The area around the hotel (specifically the train station) did not feel safe for a woman to walk alone at night. Besides this it is a quiet area close to attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Lovely little hotel in San Salvario. Rooms on the internal courtyard are very quiet and peaceful (I don’t know about street side but the street is fairly quiet). Close to Porta Nuova and restaurants and bars of San Salvario are only a few minutes stroll and centro area is only a couple of extra minutes

Walkable to everything

This hotel is in walking distance to the train station, metro, bus stops, the historic district, shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful with speaking in English. My room was very comfortable. The bed was two twins pushed together with a queen topper on it. I didn't mind this being that I'm a small person. The bathroom was bright with white tile on the walls and floor. The shower was a glass enclosed corner shower. I would stay here again when in Torino Italy

First time in Torino

Excellent location for a hotel in the heart of the city of Torino. You can walk everywhere from here or go catch a hop on hop off that is close by. many places to eat around the area! Hotel afforded me with a parking spot for my vehicle, $20 a day. It helped out tremendously because we had a van and there’s absolutely no place to park that around this hotel. Little freaking cars everywhere. Unbelievable, so reserve ahead of time. Air condition were good, beds are comfortable. Nice bathrooms and beautiful little terrace outside. Great overnight hotel. Recommend.

There were renovations happening to parts of the hotel but nothing that caused any interuptions to us. Rooms are clean and modern. Good wifi. Can leave baggage when checking out to collect later - could do with a secure room for this. Overall would definitely recommend and we would stay there again if in Turin.

Very good cheaper option in Turin

Great value hotel in the heart of Turin. Friendly staff, clean facilities and a comfy bed for the night. Walls are thin so you’re exposed to noises of other guests passing by in the hallway but apart from that everything is kinda great for the price you pay. It’s not a super charming boutique hotel but it does very well what you expect it to do, ie house you in very decent comfort, in a clean setting and with staff that has a smile on their face.

First of all Hotel Urbani shouls be classified as a 4 Star. Contemporary ease in the city center of one of the most beautiful and sophisticated first capital city of Italy, Torino. At 5 minutes from Porta Nuova train station makes it very convenient. Breakfast was generous and the staff extra nice and helpful. 5 stars to you.

Hot but happy in Dubrovnik

Arrived in Old Town Dubrovnik on a hot, humid day. Found our accommodation fairly easily. Old Town is all about steps and climbing them. Didn't have too many to climb for this place which was very nice.
Laura was our host and was on site to let us in and show us around. She was very nice and helpful in helping us source affordable good restaurants in the area. She also let us know good affordable sites to visit and how to get to them.
The room was nice and clean. Considering the location everything is small and tight for space but this room was good value.
As it was quite hot in Dubrovnik the air conditioner worked well and everything was pleasant.
Our only little complaints would be about the shower. The shower rod isn't secured very well and the shower curtain was very thin and not very effective at keeping water in the shower. That could be remedied easily.
The only other little thing that went wrong was the left side of the bed. My husband went from a lying position to a sitting position and the slats under the mattress collapsed. He fixed it and it didn't happen again.
These were minor issues and our stay overall was very good and I would stay here again.

Awesome hotel

Very near the train station, easy parking right outside hotel lobby. Clean spacious room, walkable to main attractions. Highly recommended.

decent hotel in good location close to main station and shopping streets.
rooms included a kettle and mini bar/fridge. though replen of tea and coffee was a bit hit and miss.
shower powerful and plenty hot water. room clean and comfortable although not massive.
sleep effected by other guests so walls not incredibly thick.
breakfast reasonable but not amazing . I didn't go hungry.

Nice hotel in a strategic location near to Torino Porta Nuova train station, which gives you access to the other parts of rhe city and country. Hotel is quiet, breakfast selection is reasonable. Receptionists are kind and helpful.

A lovely stay

Had a really lovely stay, booked Thisbe hotel for its location coz it’s just next to the train station. However the hotel was totally surpassed my expectations with its great customer services and conduction. Then breakfast was really nice too. Totally recommend it!

Close to amenities

The room was nice,clean. Nice bathroom. Close to the main walking area. Staff helpful, gave discount tickets to local tourists sites. Good dinner recommendation. Very nice breakfast. Parking was close in a public garage (though stated cost was 6 Euros day but when we paid it was over 8 Euros, not sure if taxes or what, since in Italian, but be sure to have extra change to pay). Only issue, but this was true of the 3 hotels we stayed, even though air conditioning was listed, the AC is not turned on until later in year. We were there in April, quite warm out but no AC, so room was warm at night. Opened windows and, luckily, we were on quiet side of hotel.

Nice hotel close to Porta Nuova Station

The location is great, less than five minute walk from the train station. The area outside is not the most attractive, but I guess that comes with being close to the station. The room is cozy enough, but quite small. It's clean though. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Nice hotel located in side street near Porta Nuova

Checking in was easy and the hotel staff had good English. The room was slightly small but with a high ceiling that seems to be typical in Italy, yet the bathroom was very big and contains shower and bidet.
The bed was very comfortable, there was a big TV and there's a very useful touch screen that allows you to easily control the temperature of the room. The balcony didn't give us any kind of view but allows you to get some fresh air.
It was easy to find the hotel as it's just on a side street very close to Porta Nuova station, the main station in Turin.
The best thing about the experience was probably the breakfast, there's a great assortment of hot and cold food, nice cakes, fruits and yoghurts, with delicious coffee and juices to wash it all down. We were able to stuff ourselves until 10am and then hardly needed any lunch!
All in all, we were very impressed.

Basic but ideal hotel for exploring Turin.

The location is a little tatty but excellent for exploring the city. Turin is beautiful and we can not understand why it is not marketed up with all the other European cities as it deserves to be!
Although this is a basic hotel I would have given five stars but there were a few minor things that spoiled a little of our time there.
Most of the staff were lovely and helpful but one of the cleaning staff was unpleasant and rude. There was a kettle in the room but only two coffee sachets and one drinking chocolate sachet. We stayed for 7 days in cold weather (when you really want a hot drink) and these were replaced three times! I had to take tea bags from breakfast or ask at reception. Cheap disposable cups and no whitener cream, so purchased own cups and milk.
Also on the final day we asked for a wake up call at 6.45am as our flight was 10.30am and we had purchased bus tickets for the 9am bus to airport , the stop being located 300m from hotel. When we got down to breakfast we realised the clocks had been put forward an hour (25/3/18) but the alarm call was an hour late, Witout even a drink we checked out and still missed the 9am bus. We then had to spend a further 40 euros for a taxi, making the last morning miserable which is annoying.
These are honestly the only bad things I can say about this hotel and we have have stayed in many.
The breakfast was always fresh, enjoyable and ample and our room was 402 on the front main street and noise not a problem with window closed.

Palazzo del Carretto di Gorzegno is located in Turin, on a rectangular block historically known as Isola dell'Assunta, which was built during the second half of the 17th century. The Palazzo is in a neighbourhood with many aristocratic homes, whose rich décor has survived intact in numerous rooms, entrances, and façades, testifying to a style of living closely associated with the nobility.

The Palazzo was built by Francesco Giacinto Gallinati and was completed in 1689. In 1768 it was purchased by Marchese Carlo Tete del Carretto di Gorzegno, who commissioned further work, including the extension of his apartments on the piano nobile, featuring several fine floors, in particular a parquet one with panel design and some Barge quartzite floors.
