The Family room was a nice size for just my wife and I. It was clean and comfortable. The daily maid service was prompt and efficient. The people working at the front desk were very friendly and polite. The view of the French Riviera from our balcony was spectacular. The only drawback was the traffic at the busy intersection below. We were only one story up (1st floor) so it wasn’t very quiet. I would stay at this property again, but would request an upper floor.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. We stayed in room 20 which was above a restaurant and was very noisy as where the neighbours above and other hotel residents the rooms are definitely not soundproof there also lots of traffic until late at night. The bath could do with cleaning as it was dirty around the mixer tap.

The staff was very nice However the bed sheets, towels and pillows all were dirty. Either had makeup, hair, or black stains in them. The owner of the hotels was informed but he did not do anything. There was also a VERY VERY bad smell at our bathroom to a point where we would spray it before going in every time we had to use the bathroom. And there was a spider in there..

This is a great place. Large rooms and clean. However the hotel is on the first floor with restaurants below and residents above. On the Saturday night the pizza place directly below us had a party with a band that continued until almost 1am. While not the hotels fault, i would never have booked that if I'd known that was an possibility.

Best stay during my south of France trip! It is smack dab in the middle of the Cagnes Sur la Mer, close to Nice, Cannes, and Monaco. Some rooms have a view of the Cote d’Azu. The restaurants nearby were FANTASTIC! Beautiful vibe and wonderful tourists in the area. I love this place more than Nice. I will stay here again.

Great little hotel right at the water. Everything was good and as expected. The only note I have is that in the add it says they have beach chairs and umbrellas available and this was not the case. They had beach towels for 2 euros a day though.

The hotel itself is very cute and staff is very friendly, but the area around is too busy and loud - you will hear the noise from the street at night. This hotel is absolutely perfect for someone who just need one night stay near Nice airport. As a good thing you can walk to the waterfront (just across the street), small supermarket and some cafes.

Great location close to train to Old Nice. There was renovation noise when I was staying there, and only sheer curtains at night - so I had to wear an eye mask. The room had a damp mildew smell to it. I would stay here only for a short term stay.

Ok for a short economical visit

This hotel was very dated and our room was not very clean, with mould in several places our bed was so close to the sliding door that you had to crawl over the bed to get out, the sliding door handle was a hazard as if you got up in the night you could catch your arm on it. The television was directly above a chair and if you got up there was a chance you could catch your head on a corner of it. The breakfast area was very cramped. The picture of the view from the hotel was misleading. Our room was looking out onto the car park and the dustbins. The balcony was very cramped also. We did say it was a special occasion 50th Wedding Anniversary but was given their worst room. There was one bar Wi-Fi and no bedside light to read. There was continuous noise from upstairs and we were on their only floor! It is a long way from central Nice. The staff on duty were very polite and tried their best. When the Manager came in the morning we asked to cancel the rest or our 9 night stay but had to cancel with Hotel.com which they did but cost us £50 in phone calls. The hotel is ok for one maybe two nights if you want to be near the airport but other than that we would not recommend it. The photographs do not give an accurate view of this hotel.

An absolutely wonderful little boutique hotel in the heart of Cagnes-sur-Mer ! A short walk to shops, restaurants, cafés, the rocky beaches, and the train station. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful.

Maybe I just don't understand French toilets or plumbing, and it's weird to say, but the toilet was the only thing that was not great.

We loved staying at Tierce, it was super easy getting around (provided you have a car), everything was relaxed and the beach was directly across the road. The room had a nice view of the ocean. There were lots of nice restaurants about 1km down the street or a couple of places directly on the block. If you want a great breakfast you should go to Maison Craime which is worth the walk.
Special mention to Vivian who was super cool and easy the whole time, he deserves a pay rise.

Strange smell in room when we returned at night which must have been coming thru AC (which worked great) because it went away during the night.

Cyclists best.

This hotel is a traveller‘s dream. Especially for cyclists. Easy to find. On the beach. Wonderfully welcoming staff. Modern clean spacious apartments with good balconies.
However a clunky wifi interface…This hotel is my favourite over seven weeks of cycling Europe.

Our trip to nice was a bad experience we tried to catch the public bus to Saint Paul de Vence twice the bus drove past the bus stop without stopping we wasted 2 hours
Then the last night need to pick up vehicle from airport what a nightmare train stopped no where near airport went to terminal one and then needed a bus terminal 2

A pleasant and good-value holiday!

We stayed for 7 nights and found the hotel to be very conveniently placed. We had a lovely welcome from Arnaud and he and the rest of the team were very helpful throughout our stay. The beach is just over the road and Arnaud kindly loaned us a parasol for when the sun was too hot. There are a number of good restaurants nearby - we particularly enjoyed the Lotus Flower (Vietnamese, 100 metres from hotel) and La Fourchette (a short walk along the sea front).

The bus stop for the airport is right outside the hotel and takes approximately 20 minutes. Cagnes sur Mer itself is well-placed for exploring the rest of the Côte d’Azur. The 200 bus runs every 15 minutes between Cannes and Nices. The nearest stop is near the SNCF railway station which is approx 15 minutes walk from the hotel. We visited Antibes a few times where the old town is very atmospheric with lots of good restaurants. We would have gone further afield except for the fact that we had previously visited most other places in the area.
All in all, a pleasant and good-value holiday!

Great location

Our room was small, clean and fresh - just what we needed after a long flight from the USA. The location is excellent, there are nice restaurants in easy walking distance and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Cagnes-sur-Mer is a short drive down the coast from Nice and would be a great “home base” for a visit to the Cote d’ Azur.

Hotel is in walking distance to the beach.

All of the rooms are on the first floor and do not have much view. They offer a nice buffet breakfast for 10 euro. The town is smaller and less crowded than Nice and there is a small village Huet de Cagnes and Musee Renoir in a walking distance.

We stayed there to visit the showjumping at the Hippodrome at Cagnes Sur Mer- this hotel is an ideal location only about a 300m walk to the entrance. A small walk to the main seafront with numerous bars and restaurants. A nice, clean and friendly hotel- would recommend.

Great location, comfy beds!

We loved this hotel. The hotel is right on the beach and there are many restaurants near the hotel. We booked the standard double room and although the bedroom was a bit small, the room and bathroom were very modern and the bed very comfy. They also provide free tea and coffee and bottles of water in the bedrooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

For the price this hotel charges we were a little disappointed. It is not luxury and breakfast was very disappointing. Plus when we booked this hotel we were told we would be charged an additional€1.60 per person per night local tax but when we checked out after one night we were charged €10 per person per night. We would not stay here again nor could we recommend it.

The staff was efficient and very nice, but I had paid for their top of the line room and it was lacking. The desk was covered with a board. The \"mini fridge\" was a non working mini bar with nothing in it and a plug that did nothing. They let us put food in the staff's refrigerator, but it was not the same.

Hotel was clean and comfortable in an excellent location right next to the waters. Restaurants were just up the street and the staff was helpful and friendly even if there were some who couldn't really speak in English. I thought that I had reserved a non-smoking room, but I definitely noticed the lingering smell when we got to our room. We just aired it out by opening the balcony doors. The hotel is located in Cagnes-sur-Mer which is just outside of Nice. Transportation was extremely easy and convenient to access with a bus stop directly outside the hotel (takes only 20min to get to Nice).

The staff was perfect in every way...very friendly and helpful! The price is very good for the value. Everything was in perfect order including the A/C and heated water. The rooms are adequate...much like most French hotels...but a little bigger than some. The hotel is directly across from the beach and there are a number of places to dine nearby. I would likely stay there again if in the area.

Good location if you want to check out the Cote d'Azur and Provence. Close to train station, bus stop, old village of Haut des Cagnes. 10 min train ride to Nice, 30 min to Monaco, 40 min to Cannes. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly.

Very convenient location for seafront and town, with many places to eat nearby. Located on quite a busy road but the room was very quiet due to two double glazed doors to balcony. We had booked a triple room but actually we had a double with connecting single. Both rooms and bathroom were comfortable and well appointed. Air conditioning was excellent but did not extend into the single room so the interconnecting door would have to be kept open for air to circulate.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. A bus runs to Nice and the airport from just outside the hotel door.

Stayed overnight with my 2 grandchildren, we all were very satisfied with everything about our visit. Would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a nice quiet clean hotel in a good location but not too far from Nice.

A blessing in disguise.

Originally, we were looking to stay in Nice. The couple hotels on the sea were very expensive. I booked Tierce, not really knowing where it was in relation to Nice. We are so happy we did. Our hotel was right across from the sea with great restaurants around the corner and along the board walk.. There was also a farmer's market on one of the days we were there. It was great to be away from the city and close enought to hop on the bus right in front of our hotel to go into Nice. This part of our trip felt like a tropical vacation. We walked along the boardwalk each day. The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. The room was small but adequate and clean. We did have to ask for clean towels one day. Water bottles are provided each day, but no toiletries. We didn't purpuse breakfast at the hotel, but did bring coffee up to our room. All the rooms have a balcony. From ours, we had partial view of the water. It is a busy area. Cagne Sur Mer seems like the destination frequented by the French when they are on holiday. As Americans, we felt like we found a treasure. Iwould definately stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is very nice, and is probably the best value near the beach. You can skip the breakfast - definitely not a good value for 10 Euro.

an enticing hotel in an excellent location

excellent family run hotel and exceptional in virtually all aspects of accomodation,eg.location,breakfast,room,staff etc..Arnaud and Barbara do everyting in their power to ensure you have a pleasent stay.The hotel is situated a few yards from the beach,bus stop if necessary is just outside hotel,train station is 5 minutes walk.
the breakfast which is available in your room is fresh from the bakery each day and is again excellent.
we intended to stay 5 days but were so impressed with the hotel we stayed 10 i think that says a lot!!

Le Tierce, Cagnes sur Mer

My husband, an elderly friend, and I, enjoyed a lovely few days at this charming, small modern, well run hotel. Its very near Nice airport, and on a great bus route, so we didn`t ever miss the car. The town centre is 15 mins walk - gorgeous market etc. and the amazing mediaeval bit is a further 10 mins on a bus up into the hills. The hotel is right on the coast, so lovely hours spent on the (pebbly) beach as well. Breakfast was served in the room, or on our balcony. Delightful! We`ll return.
