Fake Reviews and scammy behaviour.

I booked this place, then saw all of the fake reviews on here and elsewhere, they use the same images on multiple 5 star reviews and the amount of 5 reviews with no comments on this app is extremely suspicious- also the use of photoshop altered images. I immediately contacted the hotel after realising this within an hour of booking to cancel and for a refund but the hotel refused .

Very very basic hotel. I would say it's more 3 or 3.5 star not 4 star. Room was nice but small and had basic amenities. A/C on the first night took a while to cool. Pool and roof top very nice but if you are by the pool it's so difficult to order as the staff pay no attention to that area. The reception staff gave me hardly any info when I checked in, I had to ask questions that he should have provided straight away. Food at the rooftop restaurant was just ok. Location was good, 15-20 mins to Nice city centre and airport.

The parking facility is tricky....You'll have to park across the street and go out from a different building. Nobody tells you what to do. I got stuck a couple of times. Also, the breakfast is really poor, very few choices to eat.Other than that, the property is nice with staff willing to help you.

fantastic Beachfront hotel & restaurant!

We loved this hotel!! it's right on the beach and close to plenty of restaurants within walking distance....not to mention the hotel restaurant was AMAZING!! The only thing I would do differently is splurge on the Beachfront rooms. We had a nice room with a little outdoor patio and this was a nice place to unwind at the end of the day.

Hotel was clean but my issue was with the front desk. During check in I was not told about the services about the hotel. For instance when the restaurant is open, where the pool is and the mini keg and booze displayed in the lobby. I didn’t feel welcome.
Furthermore I had an issue with a cab driver charging me €70 for the ride form the airport that was 15 minutes away. So i asked the front desk before i paid and The front desk said that was Appropriate and yet when I left I took an Uber and spent €21. Definitely not on the guests side.

Breakfast was a waste of money - often nothing left towards end of service. Hairdryer replaced 3 times and still faulty. Cobwebs in the rooms. Beds and rooms are small for a 4* hotel. Location lovely just a shame about the rest 😢

A very good place to stay near the beach.

This is a very nice Mercure location. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good, with a wide selection of fresh items, eggs, etc. Service was very friendly and helpful, and everyone is bilingual.

Visited last week didn’t really see hotel apart from our room as it rained for days & the hotel bar & restaurant were closed due to bad weather so we had to sit in our room with a bottle of wine from local supermarket . I know the bad weather was not the hotels fault but I personally think a little more effort could of been made to make up for the closed restaurant.

Very impressed with the service. Paula on reception was extremely helpful. Equally the bar staff. The roof top bar, pool and restaurant area are fantastic. Great place to chill out and unwind. Right by beach and a watersports centre nearby. Plenty of restaurants within a close walk too.
Rooms are fine - particularly on the second story with a balcony and view. 20 min taxi to the airport (around €45)

Great location and friendly reception staffs

I stayed at the hotel for one night before catching next day’s flight from Nice. Overall speaking, the location of the hotel is excellent. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants.The hotel receptionists are very friendly. It also has a private underground carpark which is just opposite the hotel. The size of the room (classic) is okay, however the carpet was not very clean. The WiFi, ohh my god, it was not working at all! I rang reception and was told that no one could use WiFi that day! Unfortunately for us, the weather condition was very poorly the day when we arrived and it continued till next day morning. At breakfast, everyone was sitting inside due to the weather, and there was no spare table when we got there. So we had to sit outside where tables were with umbrellas. However, tables and chairs were very wet and we had to put up with water dripping down on our back the whole time. It was significantly under staff to serve breakfast as I could see only one guy working. No fresh mugs, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. No one to clean up tables after guests have left. And no one refill empty plates at the food stands, we were basically scrapping little food that was still there until the guy realised and went downstairs to bring some fresh food up. Absolutely under staff, perhaps it’s because of Sunday. At check out, we were told that the credit card terminal was not working and asked to leave card details on a piece of paper or paying cash. There you go, a four star hotel!

Service at the pool bar was a tad slow as we had to go up to the bar to order anything and then they forgot to put our food order in. The bed was quite hard and you could feel the springs. The friendly front desk staff, the breakfast, the view, and the pool deck were all fabulous! Would certainly recommend to others with some minor improvements.

Was great stay and people were helpful. Breakfast area is small so be prepared to take a tray upstairs to the roof terrace or your room. Rooms are modest but has everything you need for the small time your in the room as most of the time your likely to be exploring or taking in the weather. Lovely view of the beach and sea. Transport links are easy with the trains and buses within 15 minute walk and the destinations are almost endless.

Good, BUT Not As the Pics Would Suggest

The overall hotel is ok, but the building and room don’t really seem to compare to a standard 4-Star hotel in terms of comfort and quality. However, the price is right compared to something nicer in the area. Biggest asset is without question it’s location. It’s located nicely between the towns you want to visit with just a short drive. You must ABSOLUTELY get out and go enjoy it! As such, since you should be out and about, the hotel room doesn’t matter quite as much. Pleasant walks and great water. The food in the area is decent although not spectacular. A large grocery store and a small organic store are nearby as well, and there’s a fridge in the room.

If I could change one thing ... it’s the paid parking garage. It literally looks like where a CSI episode would open with a murder scene. It’s an awkward walk across the street, incredibly musty (yes, it’s hot and humid in southern France, but this shouldn’t be that bad...), and terrible dingy lighting. Horrible first impression if you are driving.

A final note ... portable infant cribs require a mattress! How would you like to sleep with a bar in your back? And for safety reasons, you can’t just roll up sheets for a makeshift mattress...

TIP: While the beach is beautiful, it is stones and pebbles, and sand stretching into the water is not to be found. May want to bring water shoes or flip flops to make for more comfortable walks.

Excellent front office staff, housekeeping is poor, pool area is fantastic.

Biggest problem is the car park that runs along one side of the hotel, it’s a nightmare! Goons in cars at 3am making so much noise the police get called, it also doubles as a local function area in summer nights with bands etc, I stayed 4 nights and did not sleep well at all.

Convenient Location, Friendly Staff

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of numerous shops, bars, and restaurants and also a short ride to/from the airport. My room was large, modern, and clean with a fantastic review of the sea. Staff was friendly and the (free) breakfast was substantial. The bar and pool on the roof is a great place to unwind after a long day. A great choice if you are in the area for business or pleasure.

Motel rooms facing beach looked nice, our ground floor room in main building back from the beach was OK, but smelt of previous tenant cooking. Kitchen is located between bedroom and bathroom so smell was throughout bedroom. To open door was very difficult as rollers were not existent. Beach just rocks so not exactly beach when you come from Gold Coast in Australia, but can walk to marina which has restaurants and laundromat.

Ok hotel, renovated. location is between Nice and Antibes so you will need transportation to everything. But we enjoyed our stay and used Bolt and Uber a lot. The trains is not easy to understand

A part l’espace petit déjeuner et le coin piscine (qui d’ailleurs est beaucoup trop petite) le reste de l’établissement aurait besoin d’une belle rénovation, hall, partie communes et chambres… Le petit-déjeuner est sommaire heureusement que le personnel de l’hôtel reste disponible, serviable et très accueillant ! Construction - dont come here summer 24!!

Construction by the pool, with very noisy machinery, closed restaurant all week, and messy rooftop. This was supposed to be a relaxing week, with drinks by the pool, but turned out ro be the worst hotel experianse ever. Stay away, rebook if you are going, the hotel manager said the renovations will go on for more weeks. They schould have closed for renovations instead of keeping the hotel open.

The Communication from the staff is catastrophic. The are prioritizing their restaurant and it’s refurbish and not the guest that is staying at the hotel. The refurbish made the pool area impossible to be at. Full construction work and when we were there they also spent the first 2 days to clean the pool area with noisy power washer the whole days. When we complained to the staff in the beginning of the week that told us that they will compensate us at checkout. We got a soft drink in compensation. Also the last day the pool area was closed almost the whole day to prepare for an coperate event in the evening. An event nobody gave us an hands up for in advance that it will be noisy to the late hours.

Piscine en rooftop et acces plage direct

Apres un vol annulé en soirée, il nous fallait une solution d hébergement a côté de l'aéroport. Et finalement cette journée imposée s'est avérée être une excellente journée grâce à l'emplacement et aux services de cet hôtel : situation a proximité de laeroport mais surtout piscine en rooftop avec accès direct à la plage. Concernant la chambre, j'ai pris ce qu'il restait. Très correcte mais petite. Service excellent et personnel souriant, c'était parfait.

Hôtel très bien situé au bord de l’eau

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel. La chambre convenait parfaitement à notre besoin, avec 1 grand lit confortable et et 1 canapé lit, et une terrasse très agréable. Par contre l’hôtel n’est pas très bien insonorisé pour un 4 étoiles. On entend beaucoup les bruits dehors, dans le couloir et dans les chambres adjacentes. Et quelques erreurs de service, manque de communication entre femmes de chambre et réception (femme de chambre frappant à 10h pour savoir si elle peut faire la chambre, au lieu d’attendre qu’on fasse le Check out). L’emplacement est top par contre, juste à côté de la plage
