Really disappointed with rooms we were given
Hotel itself is lovely but my sons room had Mould growing on the walls next to where he slept

Spoke with the manager who said it was just an aesthetic issue and there was nothing they could do

I asked for a small discount due to the issue but this was refused and manager refused to even speak with me

The receptionist looked really embarrassed

I was also lied too concerning wgen management would be on site firstly being told no-one would be in until after 12pm (after we had to check out)

The hotel itself is in a lovely area with great views. The pools were great with loads of sun beds! We were lucky that we had a fairly good view and it was lovely to have a balcony. Aircon was good.

However, the room was unclean when we got there, the wardrobe broken and our bath wouldn’t drain. We spoke to reception who said they would send a technician to fix the wardrobe and the bath but no one came. We visited with another couple, and they had exactly the same problems with their room.

Additionally, there was a sign in the room we could leave on our door to ask for our room to be made up. We put this on our door everyday, and the room was never done. We eventually spoke to reception to ask for it because we had run out of clean towels and toilet paper, but were told that it would cost 25 euros. No one had told us this when we checked in and it seemed strange that they would leave us with a sign to put on the door. 25 euros for a room turnover also is extremely expensive.

The kitchen was small but useful to have, and we were able to make some meals there. It’s not stocked with very much, just some mismatched crockery and cutlery. Once again, it wasn’t clean.

Overall, all of us agreed we would not stay again. Everything felt quite unclean and was falling to pieces. Staff were not very willing to help. However, it was a good base for exploring the area and would definitely recommend staying in Antibes!

The fridge in our residency was extremely smelly. We booked online and when we showed up the front desk staff advised we would not get housekeeping of any kind. I wish that information was provided prior to booking. The property is quite out of the way and transportation options are subpar.

Terrible room and stinky bathroom. Breakfast was over $20 per person and it was probably the first time I regretted paying for food. The bathroom was stinky and had ants on the floor. The room also had some water damage. Wish I did some more research before booking the room. You will need a car to get around as there is nothing nearby.

This is an ok place, but not luxurious nor very comfortable. It's outside of the city, but close enough to everything if you have a car. The pool is salty, so kids don't like it as it hurts their eyes. I would not use the same place again if I had a better option even if slightly more expensive.

It was not supposed to be an airbnb, it was supposed to be a hotel and I booked via expedia.

Lovely pool and spa area. Great option of studio apartment. Handy shuttle service into town. Very quiet. You just need to be aware that there are no bars, cafes, restaurants, shops nearby apart from a great pizza cafe. It’s a 25 minute walk to the shop. You need to get the shuttle or taxi into town for restaurants etc.

What a fabulous hotel!

Clean, modern with a high end feel to it.

Our studio had everything you needed, and the balcony upgrade was a nice addition.

The pools and outdoor area with sunbathing were very blissful.

The on-site restaurant and bar were great too.

A little out of the way but a walking distance to Biot station, or the free shuttle into Antibe was great! (Although remember to pre book this)

This hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, about 4-5 km from the town of Antibes. No transportation nearby. The transportation provided by the hotel is absolutely unreliable. If you don’t have prior reservations for the spa then forget about it. You can only use the pool jacuzzi and the swimming both are salt water. Breakfast is ok lunch and dinner are expensive and of average quality. This hotel has 2 categories, one is the main hotel building where you get clean, towels and linen change service, the other are studios where you get no service at all!!
If you are looking for a quite place away place, then this hotel might be for you but that’s all it has.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and won’t stay in it again.

Check in at 5pm it’s a too late ,and check out at 10am it’s too early . If you check in at 5pm you can check out at noon. There are 7 hours between check in and check out,never found it somewhere else. When we booked the place we never knew that the spa was overbooked otherwise we would have gone somewhere else. We’ve got a few treatments but not as planned...in general we felt cold in the hotel and spa areas....at least the room was warm so that was good. The staff was friendly and professional.

I was not very happy at all. My room was dirty, they did not do house keeping on my room the whole 7 days I was there and the AC stopped working. The restaurant in the hotel had a very small menu and the hours so were so odd it was hard to get a time to eat. Over all I just was not impressed at all.

Already did this once. Please read my last review. This property is not a four star property and should only be marketed to French citizens. We only stayed one night and had to pay for two. Totally cheated. We moved on to Royal Antibes Hotel and they were the best of the best. Loved it there.

Had to call hotel as they did not reply to emails regarding booking of airport shuttle. Very annoyed that they advertise airport shuttle as a usp and then charge - so basically like a taxi then!

Apart from Kelli who was lovely the bar staff were incredibly slow and just seemed to be perplexed by even the simplest orders at one point I was buying a coffee and trying to order a Richard and the guy wandered off after the coffee and then between 4 of them they ignored me for a bit, chatted between themselves, it took ages.

Got Uber from nice airport only 32 euros on arriving hotel is in lovely grounds the reception staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. We stayed in a apartment which was a good size but could do with a bit of updating the bed and pillows were very comfy very small kitchenette but adequate for us as we only had breakfast and occasional lunch there balcony had partial sea views but full sun all day the pool and spas were great prices of food and drinks were average price for the area the hotel is in a quiet area but is only 20 min walk to supermarket and lovely patisserie and station is a further 5 mins the local bus to station etc is only few mins walk from hotel and they provide shuttle bus to Antibes so very easy to get around all in all we had a great 10 days

If you’re looking to relax for a few days then this is a great place, the spa facilities are good and my massage was lovely! There isn’t much around, so I would recommend hiring a car or bike to help you get around. I’m most disappointed with the hotel staff. Especially the restaurant staff. They weren’t very polite or friendly, occasionally rude and not very helpful. This impacted my experience hugely and due to this, unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Nice pool with sea view suite

Within the first 5 minutes of serving we got stuck in an elevator (with all our luggage and a young child nonetheless). :(

The staff right away made the situation right by upgrading us to a beautiful sea view suite plus sent drinks to our room. Very very good experience.

Great pool, spa and amenities and free parking. About 10 minute drive from any stores or restaurants but great facility over all.

This is the third time that I have stayed at this hotel. The location is great, secluded but close enough to Antibes. The studio room was large and comfortable and the service from the Front Desk was excellent. My only complaints were that the restaurant ran out of cheese one morning for breakfast and generally, the choices weren't great, and the service from the spa was poor (plus had to pay €8 to hire a bath robe and €3 to buy a swim cap - you can't swim without one). As a hotel guest, I did not expect to have to pay for these.

We stayed in appartment with our two children. Room was basic and not very clean. Room service was extra 20 euros per day. The original price paid wasn't cheap. Not four star quality. No pool towels. Breakfast was nice but not much choice. Pool ok but not that clean. Spa was nice. Wouldn't go back.

Dont bother book a studio room, you will be required to do everything yourself including cleaning your room. Its a shame this wasn't explained to us if not before booking at least on arrival at the hotel.

Some staff members friendly others not so much.

You are not allowed entry in the indoor pool wothout a latex hat on which we found very strange and a big inconvenience as we then had to buy one then and there

Good location for passing through St Etienne area

Booked this as we decided to go a different route to the South of France. We didn't want to stay in St Etienne as we thought it would be difficult to get in and out on the freeway in the morning.
The hotel was clean. A little dated and could do with a redo, however it was great for a quick stopover. Good and secure parking.

Great location for a quiet holiday

We stayed at this hotel while attending an exhibition in Cannes. The location of the hotel is great if you have a car. It is a fair way out of town, but this is nice because it is not noisy with busy traffic. The hotel has recently been refurbed and was lovely inside the reception area and common areas. We stayed in the 'residences', which have the small kitchenette and a slightly larger room than the hotel rooms. The rooms were a little tired looking, but served its purpose for the 8 nights we stayed. Something to note is that your room does not get cleaned every day, nor does it get cleaned on checkout. You have to clean it yourself, or you pay for this service. We paid for this service only because we are used to our hotel rooms being cleaned. We had to have them back to clean a second time halfway through the stay as they didnt do a very good job the first time. Charging 12€ to make the bed and put clean towels is not justified. However, on complaining about this they did fix it.
The spa is simply amazing. My husband and I both had facials, and I must admit it was probably the best facial I have had. The breakfast is totally worth it. the view is exceptional.
There is ample parking which is brilliant for this area.
We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We arrived and were very pleased with the hotel. It was beautiful inside and out and the staff were very helpful and had very good English. The room was large and spacious with lots of storage space. The restaurant is excellent although a little bit pricier than the local restaurants, it is well worth the little extra and the set menu was very affordable. Again the staff were very friendly and helpful with my limited French with the menu. There was a charge for having the room cleaned daily, €39 for the stay but we didn't spend much time there so it was unnecessary. The beds were very comfortable and the area was quiet, and the view from the terrace beside the food hall is spectacular. Overall an excellent experience and we will definitely be back. If you are going on foot for the holiday bring walking shoes as it is about a 20 - 30 min walk from the nearest train station and taxis are quite expensive.

Great Antibes Hotel

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in April 2015. The hotel is only a short drive from the sea, which can be seen from the outside restaurant/bar area. It is within easy reach of Cannes, Nice and for those with children, Marine Land. It is great for those who want spa facilities and has an indoor and outdoor pool, which is great for all. Children have some restrictions with the indoor pool, which does enable grown-ups to relax after a treatment - no real problem.
The only drawback for us was the cost of hotel food and drinks but as we had a studio this was only a minor problem.

The welcome staff were extreamly pleasant and took the time to orient us to the hotel and all of the other services provided. The location is a bit off the path but if your lucky enough to get a room that faces the sea I'm certain it is beautiful. Room was clean beds were like magic sleep machines and pillows to match. The room kitchenette is sealed off and will cost an xtra 8 euro, I thought was a little shallow considering the cost of the room, but whatever. The dinning facility is top notch but separate from the hotel so sneaking a cup of coffee back to the room was like Corporal LeBeau getting a piece of cheese past SergeantShultz. All in all I would certainly return to this hotel and would recommend to a friend. Book early and ask if there is a room facing south...

Personnel accueil et restauration très courtois, grand appartement rdc avec lit en 180, télé grand écran, deux petites terrasses côté séjour et chambre, petit coin cuisine, petit dressing. Très succinct en mobilier ,un fauteuil serait le bienvenu… grand parking gratuit. Nous avons apprécié l’espace spa, mais pour les soins il aurait fallu réserver bien à l’avance. Dommage que la mer et le centre d’Antibes ne soient pas plus proches… mais nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Quelques désagréments très vite corrigés en début de séjour ( problème de fermeture de porte fenêtre et 1araignee)

Saltvandspools så ikke særlig børnevenligt. Personalet er ikke særlig serviceminded og vi var i restauranten første aften og det var en meget dårlig oplevelse! Gå ned i byen i stedet for. Lejlighederne er meget brugte. Vi havde ikke glas til alle og meget lidt køkkenudstyr. Hav noget med selv. Børn må ikke dykke og have ting med i poolen.

Einerseits ein toller Ausblick, die Lage selbst aber etwas langweilig und einiges vom Meer entfernt. Dafür kostenloses Parken, sehr anständig. Die Pools innen und außen sind mehr als zufriedenstellend. Frühstück zu teuer und wenn die kleine Asiatin (leider den Namen vergessen) nicht da ist, auch unorganisiert. Sie hatte den Laden im Griff und war sehr hilfsbereit.
Bei unseren zwei Zimmern fehlte ein Spülzeug-Set, was wir 2x reklamiert haben, aber vom Personal nie bekommen haben. Da haben wir auch gar nicht erst unser verstopftes Waschbecken im Bad beanstandet. Im WC verschwand ein stark rostiges Rohr in der Wand.
Wenn man ein Auto hat, Alles in Allem eine nette Homebase für Touren in die spannende Umgebung. Auf das Personal kann man sich aber größtenteils nicht verlassen.

Llegamos con las expectativas bastante altas con el hotel, pero fue bastante decepcionante.

Nos dieron una habitación en la otra punta del hotel y tuvimos bastantes dificultades para encontrarla. Cuando llegamos la habitación era bastante más fea, además de que era un bajo que daba directamente al parking, por lo que cualquiera podía entrar. También encontramos más de 4 arañas en la terraza. El lavabo tenía un bloque de madera que tapaba un agujero de la pared y que se podía abrir con facilidad.

La cocina no tenía los suficientes utensilios para poder estar ahí una semana cocinando.

Las luces no funcionaban correctamente y los enchufes se encontraban en sitios muy aleatorios por lo que no era cómodo.

Al día siguiente de llegar, fuimos a la piscina y, sorpresa, nos encontramos con que estaba vacía y las únicas disponibles eran las de niños pequeños.

Si vas en transporte público es inviable alojarte en este alojamiento ya que la zona está muy mal ubicada para autobuses/trenes, además de que si bajas dos calles para hacer la compra es una zona muy insegura con gente colocada. Da miedo.

La zona del spa muy bien y la cama de la habitación era cómoda.

Appartment nicht gleich Hotel

Da es nicht das Hotel war, sondern ein Appartement war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis OK. Dementsprechend war aber kein Service vorhanden. Zimmer war groß, Anordnung aber etwas komisch. Ausstattung ist verbesserungswürdig, da z.B. zu wenig Besteck, Töpfe, ... vorhanden. Positiv ist, dass man den Pool des Hotels mit verwenden durfte. Der hat viel zu bieten. Besonders der Indoorpool mit Massagefunktion war super. Tischtennis und Parkplätze sind kostenlos. Das Beste ist aber der Ausblick vom Hotel. Man kann bis Nizza schauen. Ärgerlich war am Ende nur, dass die Lage zwar super war, man aber auf Grund der vielen privaten Anlagen drum herum einen riesen Umweg zum Strand sowie zum Wasserpark und Delfinarium machen musste. Störend war Abends auch das Grschrei vom Freizatpark nebenan und das, trotz geschlossener Fenster. Man hatte immer wieder das Gefühl, jemand wird überfallen. Alles in allem kann das Hotel nichts dafür und wir waren zufrieden mit dem was wir hatten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Dårlig oplevelse

Bedst ikke 4-stjerner, det er beskidt, man skal selv gøre rent og have håndklæder, toiletpapir, sæbe osv med hjemmefra. Deres personale virker ligeglade og at gæsterne går i vejen for dem. Poolområdet er ikke børnevenligt, man må ikke have badedyr/bolde med, man må ikke have drikkervare eller mad med, det er heller ikke muligt at købe noget i pool området. OBS det er en saltvandspool. Indkøbsmuligheder er dårlige hvis ikke man har bil, der er cirka 15-20min gang til nærmest supermarked. Der er cirka 20-25min gang til stranden OBS det er stenstrand. Vi brugte cirka 2 timer på indtjekning og 3 forskellige værelser forbi personalet sejlede fuldstændig. Jeg gider ikke bruge mere tid på det her hotel. Vi kommer aldrig tilbage!

Nous avions un studio pour 3 nuits. L’hôtel est calme est plutôt bien placé pour les personnes en voiture, à pied il est assez loin de toutes commodités. Le parking est gratuit.
Le ménage est correct (un peu de poussière et vaisselle pas totalement propre) et l’équipe technique réactive en cas de problème.
Attention si vous êtes dans un studio il vous faudra payer 8€ par personne (pour toute la durée du séjour) pour avoir un peignoir pour pouvoir accéder a l’espace spa

Hotel Thalazur à Antibes

Très bon séjour. Hôtel bien placé et belle vue sur la mer. Grande piscine extérieure qui permet de se relaxer le soir après une promenade en ville ou sur les remparts ou encore autour du cap.
