Very nice boutique property...felt very French. The decor was lovely and our room was very clean and comfortable. Only a very short walk from the main area of the Old Town and 10 minutes to the beach. The train station was only a short walk away.

La Place is such a sweet and lovely hotel. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and staff offered suggestions for where to eat. The room was clean and comfortable, as expected. The lounge downstairs has a beautiful ambiance, and guests sit and enjoy drinks and food at all hours, creating such a lovely and peaceful environment. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Delightful small hotel with very welcoming staff, very centrally located in Antibes. The dinner offerings, while limited, consist of delicate and innovative oprions (the skewers, flambéed at the table, are great). The rooms are small (hint: this is France) but comfortable. Walking distance to the harbor, ramparts, Picasso museum, and more. Definitely recommend.
P.S. Try not to have a car, as street parking is scarce and is only free from 6pm to 9am -- and traffic is bad in Antibes.

Fantastic small hotel positioned centrally in the old town so really close to the beach, harbour, shops and loads of restaurants. Our bedroom was lovely with a super comfy bed and pillows and a nice en-suite. We only ate breakfast in the lovely hotel bar/restaurant area but it was great. We found the attention to detail, the cleanliness and the service at this boutique hotel to be absolutely faultless. The manager of the hotel is a lady called Cynthia and she has everything just right. Thank you Hôtel La Place for making our stay perfect.

The location is on the edge of old town. Equidistant to old town center to the right and the beach to the left. No elevator but we were on the first floor with a window that overlooked a charming pedestrian street with restaurants. Rooms are small but renovated and adequate. The hotel entrance faces a bus plaza that can be loud late into the evening. So, we had to sleep with window closed to reduce noise. The hotel buffet breakfast was enjoyable as well as a cafe across the street. I would stay again.

We chose La Place due to the great reviews and were not disappointed. It was a charming boutique hotel right on edge of the Antibes old town ( next to tourist office). Close walking distance to all the bustling eating places, charming streets and port.
Staff were wonderful especially Anna who kindly printed off train reservations for us.
The breakfast itself was superb as was the charming setting. There us no lift so is not for the faint hearted getting cases up the stairs and walking up and down. Our room was very small and we had to walk over and around our cases but we managed to get around that and other things made up for it. No fridge or kettle but happy to supply boiling water and cups from cafe at any time of day and night.
The cafes underneath our window were noisy until about 11 pm but good sound proofing once windows closed.
It was on the higher side price wise but we’d choose to stay there again for sure.

We took the train from Nice for a long weekend (early Feb 2023) and chose La Place partially because it is a 10 min walk from the Gare - but also because it had good customer ratings.
We were really pleased.
The staff is lovely (everyone but esp Cecile who made us feel welcome every time we walked in the hotel).
We got their smallest room, but it was cleverly set up to make it comfortable for two people (good closet, nice bathroom, window out over a small square overlooking one of Antibes best restaurant).
In fact, there are lots of really good eateries all around. We especially liked La Petite Escalier & The Little Wood: both are run by couples, both serve good food with a great welcome.
Caveat Emptor: no elevator - but altho' we were on the 2nd floor up from ground it was fine taking up our two 21\" and two 15\" suitcases.
Nice touch: bowl of apples for guests, bottled water in the rooms.
And especially important: VERY comfortable bed BEST pillows we had in France, good towels (and good toiletries).
All in all a nice option in Antibes!

This hotel is a special small jewel in the central heart of a very nice area of Antibes not too far from its beaches but close to wonderful squares, eating places and shops. For transportation this hotel is not too far from the train station. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They even bring morning coffee up to you room! The breakfast eating area and multiple breakfast choices are superb with very fresh wonderful food and drink of every kind. This area and the adjacent bar are nice places to hang out. There is no elevator but the staff carry your bags to your room. The rooms are updated, spacious and are always very well cleaned. The air conditioning system in each room is abundantly strong and was very welcomed in the hot weather we experienced. My wife and I loved this hotel as did our two friends who also had a room there for more than a week. We highly recommend this hotel. It made our stay in Antibes very enjoyable.

Arrived at 10.00 pm to be told by reception that one of the two rooms we had booked and paid for in advance was not available as they were full and there was nothing they could do about it. After a long discussion the receptionist rang someone and suddenly a room was available!

It was good, room was a bit dated,only one big towl for 2 guests, glass in shower leaked and the window in the shower isnt frosted so the bus station next door can see, but comfortable and what you'd expect for the hotel rating.

Very very dissatisfied.
Noisy as building work at nearby bus station started at 8am banging drilling shouting etc,then fire alarm went off during night due to girl on duty cooking in kitchen then she had young men in hotel downstairs after midnight below our room music playing and shouting my husband had to get out of bed to complain.Breakfast cold which we did report to staff but got a rude look back for telling them.Should have been relaxing and enjoyable but far from.Complained when checked out but they weren’t bothered .

Small hotel in the middle of Antibes...
We normally stay in expensive boutique style hotels overlooking the ocean or with views over the surrounding countryside but on this occasion we thought we would try somewhere in the middle of the small town of Antibes. The staff in the hotel were excellent - always friendly, smiling and approachable. The narrow streets around the hotel were overflowing with traditional restaurants and shops - all within walking distance. The harbour was only a short 10 minute walk away - so all areas of Antibes were easy to access from here. The room was a little smaller than we are used to but had everything you needed - apart from Tea and Coffee provisions - but I am sure this can be rectified. Maybe a welcome drink on arrival at the hotel would be a nice gesture but these are only minor points on what was a good overall stay at the hotel. Definitely good value for money hotel.

The only problem we had is they would not give us free coffee to take to our room in the morning. We stayed at five hotels this trip....this was the only one that charged for coffee. Most hotels have a free coffee set up on the room.

This small hotel was nicely situated with only a 2 minute walking distance from the main shopping area of Antibes. The staff were friendly and very welcoming and the seating area on the terrace was nicely decorated. The room we stayed in was clean but rather small, this hotel has no lifts so no good if you struggle with strairs at all! The price of the drinks were a few euros more than what you would pay at the local bars so it is worth venturing out and about. The breakfast was 14 euros each and was a buffet, we didn't think it was worth the money. The usual of cereal, fruit, cheeses and meats etc and cooked food was sausages (hotdogs) bacon and scrambled eggs. All in all, a pleasant hotel but the price of a nights stay we felt was quite expensive.

Small boutique hotel in great location
This hotel was a cute small boutique hotel that was perfectly located for us. 2 minute walk to old town and 10 minutes to train station. The hotel had a lovely area that served breakfast but at night you could sit and have a drink and it felt like you were in a little cocktail bar. The staff were so nice and friendly. The only negative is dont bring a heavy large suitcase if you can’t lift it up the 3 flights of stairs. We were ok because we are going and fit.

The hotel was very modern, clean and comfortable and the staff polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options. A slight drawback was the view of the bus station although we were not disturbed by noise. We would also have liked tea/coffee making facilities.

Our room did not look like the pictures. It was tiny, claustrophic and very very basic. There was no room for luggage, no iron or ironing board, no lift to bring our luggage upstairs in. I would think this is a 2 star motel.

Stayed for 1 night with family. Very small hotel located in the centre of Antibes. Staff could not have been more helpful. Needed a doctor on Bastille Day when everything in France was shut - the owner phoned her own doctor and arranged to be seen. Very grateful - thank you.

Hotel is in a super location, very central so everything is only a short walk away with friendly staff willing to help. For those that don't like taking the stairs though please note that this hotel has no lift.

Winter visit to Antibes
Hotel quite difficult to find at rush hour and parking nearby very difficult. Reception OK but had to press the intercom quite a few times to gain entry. Room OK but, for the price, rather cramped, no tea / coffee making facility and shower only (no bath). Breakfast good choice but rather pricey and ate out for other meals. Service OK but could have been more welcoming. Good central position for exploring Old Town, Yacht Basin and beaches. Overall average.

NO ELEVATORS!
We arrived and found out that our room was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator. We had to carry our suitcase up all the stairs by ourselves. Very overpriced taking this into consideration.
