Outstanding service & decor

A bit off the beaten path in Casa Micciola, this hotel was oustanding in every way. From decor( recently entirely renovated and it showed in glorious fashion. You felt like an honored guest Breakast buffet included plus eggs to order. The hotel offered shuttie & taxi service plus dining & bar at normal hours. The staff! From the bar to the dining to reception & concierge, your every need wss met the soa! Awesome. Rooftop snacks & bar, elegant pool. See photos.

SPA is Amazing

This is a lovely spa - amazing people who run the hotel. In the shoulder season of October - it's not a super busy area and feels a little isolated. For spa treatments - superb!

If you are looking for walking restaurants or any shopping - this is not the area. This is truly a 'spa' and so enjoy their many many treatments - because they really cater to you. Then take a taxi to the other areas for food, activity, shopping:)

Treated like Royalty in a Palace

This Relais & Chateau on Ischia Island was superb. Upon arrival we were treated royally. The staff members were so gracious. Specifically Electra, a waitress and Victorrio, the restaurant manager. Barbara, my masseuse, was excellent and extremely nice.

We loved the terrace restaurant which was more informal w great views. I couldn’t get over the fact that at lunch on the terrace the waitress asked me if I would prefer having the same dessert I had the night before!!! I was shocked that she would know even though I did not see her there for that dinner.

The property is like a palace. The furnishings exquisite.

We swam in the heated thermal springs indoor pool which was beautifully tilled throughout. The outdoor pool was also beautiful but we didn’t have time to get there.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days without leaving it. So relaxing and beautiful.

Booked specifically after seeing the hot thermal bath they have which was wonderful. It also has a beautiful roof pool, bar and seating area which had lovely views around of the mountain. The hotel décor is lush ,with marble statues at every turn and gorgeous venetian glass chandeliers. It felt super luxurious and the staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Angelina who greeted us when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and we made use of the very useful and free shuttle service to get to and from the small beach resort of Lacco Ameno and also Ischia Port. It was my birthday whilst we were there and they left a nice bottle of prosecco in the room for me. Thank you everyone at the hotel for making my birthday treat such a special experience.

An amazing hotel. The staff can't do enough for their guests. The facilities including the Spa, 2 swimming pools, a roof garden and bar. The spa facilities are open till 10pm so plenty of time to enjoy all that the hotel has to offer. There is also a fantastic free shuttle service provided by the hotel, which is ideal if you want to head out else where on the Island. I can't recommend this place enough, I will definitely be returning.

Great location for a nice respite

This island in itself was a very pleasant surprise. But add in the hotel, the staff, the spa and thermal pool and this is a keeper. We were picked up at the port by their shuttle and brought back to the hotel. We enjoyed out time at the pool (although it is rather small), the port city, the spa for very reasonable massages, and our meals. There is no reason to leave the property although we ventured out twice. Once into the port town for some great shopping and a visit to the castle. Again, the hotel shuttle took us and arranged a pick up time for us to return. We also went to the local area at the bottom of the hill for a gelato one night and walked the 15 minutes back. It is a very safe area. Our room was upgraded to include a very large balcony. The only downside to the room was the bathroom was a little cramped with a small shower - but it wasn't a deal stopper.

no basic spaghetti and meatballs at this hotel
had a huge workout room and spa area
indoor thermal pool (very warm) and outdoor pool on the roof top which was not heated and really should have been.
I would definitely stay again at this hotel, it was a fantastic luxury hotel on a beautiful island full of mountains and covered in a dense forest
the ferry to/from the island from naples was 1 hour and not difficult to use
the hotel staff were amazing, they really treat everyone like royalty
they also upgraded our room on check-in which was very nice of them and very much appreciated

Fabulous hotel most definitely 5*, we had a garden view which was perfect for early evening drinks on the balcony. We stayed 2nd week in June, hotel bar drinks were very expensive and no atmosphere as hotel was very quiet with not many guests. No kettle in room and a tea/coffee on room service was €10!!!!
Staff were great, very attentive and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for 5* luxury. Would definitely return

Beautiful Luxury Hotel

We had a lovely stay at the Termi Manzi Hotel. All of the staff were charming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. My wife felt ill one day and she only wanted scrambled egg on toast which wasn't on the menu. It was delivered to the room without fuss along with dinner for myself. The facilities are excellent and all the food was first class.
There is a courtesy bus available throughout the day, but we chose to hire a car so we could fully explore the island.
On arrival we were given a comprehensive guided tour by the receptionist. We will certainly return, the whole experience was brilliant

the hotel is not on the sea nor does it have views of the sea but no matter - a stay here is about lounging by the pool and making use of the spa. the rooms are spacious and bathrooms updated nicely. a room with courtyard view is best. breakfast buffet is divine, staff wonderful, restaurant very good albeit a bit expensive. my only criticism is the decor of the lobby.

We booked this hotel through hotels.com. Unfortunately the description of the room we booked did not exist. According to the description our room had three bedrooms and a private pool which basically sold us on the hotel. Unfortunately when we arrived we found that room did not exist. We had a standard room. The hotel did upgrade us for two of the nights to a junior suite to try and make up for hotels.com's mistake. This hotel is in a horrible location in the middle of a city. Your views are of local peoples laundry hanging out to dry and you are serenaded by dogs barking and loud traffic noise. There is not a view of the ocean and taxi rides are extremely expensive if you want to get anywhere from the hotel. On the plus side, the hotel has a shuttle that runs during the daytime and will take you to a few different places. They also give you passes for a beach nearby which is nice. They also have a very nice spa with a hot spring pool. The strange thing about the spa was that the entire time we were there, it was empty. We enjoyed having the hot spring pool to ourselves, but it was strange to go into a spa and never see a therapist or an employee. This rang true throughout the hotel. It always seemed devoid of people. For example we never saw a bartender or a hotel guest at the lobby bar. It almost seemed to be there for show. In certain areas of the hotel. It smelled of sewage. This smell was a turn off a which deterred us from dining at the hotel which is supposed to have a good restaurant. If anyone is planning to visit this island. I would recommend a hotel by the sea.

Amazing Staff and a Very Personal Level of Service

A beautiful hotel, where the staff make you feel like you are part of their family rather than just a paying customer. The free shuttle service they offer around the Island was in effect like having a personal driver for the duration of my stay. I will definitely return, this time with my family and make use of the luxurious spa facilities. The room was large and had a beautiful balcony where I could work in peace and quiet. My husband and I stayed for one week at the Terme Manzi Hotel and I wish it was longer. The hotel is beautiful with fantastic facilities. Our room had a terrace that overlooked the town piazza and we felt like we were watching a Fellini movie. Our room was very large with ample close space and a great bathroom. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff is superb. From the owner to the manager, Beatrice, to the front desk, restaurant personnel, drivers and cleaning personnel, all were friendly and would go out of their way to fulfill any request.
The indoor thermal pool is amazing and the roof top pool is superb. Breakfast is wonderful with a wide variety of food including requests for items that are not on the buffet. The spa personnel are extremely talented and I had two amazing massages and cold mud therapy which I highly recommend.
Relaxing in the lantern candlelit garden in the evening is magical and there is nightly entertainment to help create a very relaxing Italian style mood. I highly recommend this hotel for an extraordinary experience of rest, renewal, and indulgence. This hotel met everyone of our expectations and beyond. Thank you to all for making our stay very memorable.

an excellent hotel for people who want an overall outstanding experience. Rooms were a little smaller than I expected, Same for the pool, and the indoor pool can't be used for under 12's.
Outdoor pool is on the roof and we were there in late June and in the afternoon it got very windy even when sunny.
Staff are very very good and the food is truly excellent. The evening in the main restaurant was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny.
The hotel is up the hill and actually there is a bit of road noise when sitting outside.
A great hotel but not one for a family of young children I feel

A hidden gem

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everyone was super friendly and very genuine. It is in a quiet part of Ischia in Cassimicciola, however there is a free shuttle to many places on the ischia island that you should book in advance. Also within the hotel you enjoy the Michelin rated restaurant which was a once in a lifettime experience sitting in the kitchen watching the chefs work their magic. We also got a tour of the kitchen and took a picture with the famous chef Nino di Contanza! Decorations are beautiful, pool has a nice view and the thermal waters were also a nice treatment for the skin and relaxing too! Great hotel! Would go back there again!

A lovely hotel with very kind and helpful staff. Facilities were excellent. Food and drink a bit pricey but Michelin experience was incredible. Breakfast was brilliant. Only disappointment was the way noise travelled between rooms and lack of a balcony - felt somewhat second class guests in that regard and would have paid more for the blacony. Large amount of traffic noise on the breakfast terrace. Spa was a bonus.

Relaxing!

Terme Manzi is wonderful if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay. The service was outstanding, and the staff really paid attention to detail. It was our honeymoon and we were greeted with complimentary champagne and cake. I had to see the doctor while I was there and there was no charge. The hotel staff quickly got my prescription and had it in my room in about an hour. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach & piazza but we found it helpful to burn off some calories after a large meal in town. The restaurant Il Mosaico was out of this world and I would highly recommend it. Terme Manzi was perfect for a few days on the island of Ischia.

Without a doubt, this was the nicest hotel in all of Ischia!! The artifacts were out of this world. i just wish this hotel could have been on a beach, the location did not do it justice. I would go back there in a heart beat though!! I have never seen anything so beautifully done!! The pool area, restaurants, sun deck, front entrance ,and court yard were gorgeous!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. We LOVED our stay in Terme Manzi, just wish it could have been longer!!!

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Hotel (ca. 50 - 60 Zimmer) mit hochwertigem Mobiliar. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und professionell - man merkt die fundierte Ausbildung eines jeden. Der Frühstücksraum war sehr großzügig in der Raumaufteilung; Tische hatten genügend Abstand zueinander. Das Frühstücksangebot war reichhaltig (inkl. Sekt) - nie ging etwas aus bzw. wurde sofort nachbestückt. Zimmer sehr sauber / Reinigung wurde stichprobenartig kontrolliert. Pool mit Bar - ebenfalls hochwertig und ausreichend Liegen vorhanden.
Einziger Nachteil: Das Hotel liegt in einer Wohngegend, die nicht die beste Kulisse bietet. Ein sehr gutes Restaurant ist nur 200 m entfernt. Ansonsten muss man ca. 15 Minuten gehen, um die Touristenlokale / Carrentals etc. zu erreichen.
Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Quel dommage que cet établissement soit laissé à l'abandon :(
Et on est loin des standards d'un relais et chateau, en effet ici tout est à l'économie, les ampoules d'elairage sont allumées 1 sur 2.
La vaisselle est en porcelaine made in China.
Le thé est bas de gamme.
Les peignoirs dans les chambres defraichiees, les produits d'accueil en quantité minimale, la douche est uniquement avec plafonnier.
Pas de service en chambre pour le the et le cafe et pas de produits d'accueil ni pantoufles.
La piscine exterieure n'est pas chauffée.
Et impraticable en septembre.
LA décoration est vieillotte. Bref un rafraichissement serait le bienvenue.
Trés décu vu le tarif. Et que dire des bandes adhesives ayant servies a repeindre une salle a cote de la salle des petits déjeuners oubliées.?
Et nous étions un couple d’hommes et les peignoirs étaient pour un homme et une femme...
Une sorte d’homophobie ?

Tudo de melhor que se pode esperar de um hotel.

Impossível avaliar o perfeito ! Você pode se hospedar bem em Ischia mas melhor que no MANZI não é possível ! Quero em nome da Sra. Angelina , ( pois não quero correr o risco de esquecer ninguém) agradecer a todos os colaboradores desta importante empresa. Com certeza voltarei a este Hotel que sem dúvida foi um dos se não o melhor que me hospedei ao longo de minha vida , ali você sente que tem uma família com o único intuito de proporcionar a você tudo de melhor, nos mínimos detalhes. Com certeza se tem algum defeito eu não encontrei ! Recomendo muito ! Minhas férias ficaram muito melhores depois que passei pelo Manzi.
