The room was exceptional, featuring comfortable beds, a sanitary bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. The apartment felt like home and was remarkably spacious.
The staff were friendly and very helpful when we were unable to enter our room when a member of our family was absent. Additionally, the buffet breakfast, wellness facilities, and overall amenities were excellent.
To top it off, the reception allowed us to check in early and store items for a friend.
We strongly recommend this hotel and may consider returning in the future.

The hotel is OK, but definitely not for 4*. It's outdated and there is only one elevator in it so sometimes you need to spend a lot of time waiting for it. The gym is good but overcrowded because it's public and many people from the neighborhood use it. Wifi works only in the room but not in the hallway and lobby.

Good hotel close to the main sites of Budapest. We stayed in the apartments. Was lovely and clean, large in size and comfortable. Only thing to note is that the spa and swimming pool can be very busy as it is used by locals also. If you want a relaxing quiet swim… this is rare.

Fab location, beautiful rooms, gym,spa,swimming pool on site. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and will do again. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Everywhere you would like to see in Budapest is within walking distance, and there is a hop on hop off bus stop just 300m from the hotel. There is a spar shop less than 100m from the hotel and some great restaurants and bars a couple mins walk away. 5 stars from us

It was my first visit to Budapest and I chose Bliss accommodation because of good reviews it had from other people. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Bliss is located in the heart of town, accessible to most attractions within walking distance. The gym and spa is very good and we enjoyed very much using the pool, suna and spa. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is centrally located which is why it’s noisy. The rooms are large and comfortable but the air conditioning was disabled because the staff believed that the climate was comfortable!! I would not recomend this hotel if you like to keep your room cool. Breakfast had many options and was ample.

A mixed feeling: no complaints about the room itself, everything is excellent! But there is no hotel infrastructure, it's more like a residential complex with a reception. The room is large, bright, and good. Excellent air conditioning. Good sound insulation. However, the pool is terrible. It's a public pool with a lot of people. They don't provide towels and bathrobes.

We were given a spacious room with two bedrooms and a living room, which has a kitchen section with a set of dishes, an electric stove, a microwave, a capsule coffee machine, and a kettle. The living room itself is very spacious with access to a terrace, on which there is a table and chairs. In summer, it is probably excellent. The hotel has a spa with a swimming pool, sauna, and hammam. There is also a gym. The hotel is located a 5-minute walk from Ferenc Liszt Square, a beautiful place with monuments, local restaurants, and cafes. The Oktogon metro is also nearby. In general, we all really liked it.

The hotel just behind the Budapest’s famous avenue called Andrassy út. Few mitute walk from the Opera and the Budapest Broadway. Also not to far from the St. István Basilica and from the parliament. Good location. The car park in the basement is so tight as anywhere else.

Worst hotel wellness I have ever experienced :(

I had a mixed feelings from this hotel. Size of the room was really big (bed room + living room + kitchen), breakfast was really huge and tasty.
Now coming to the negatives: First very negative experience was with parking. I knew I should go to the garage but was completely lost which one is it and whether the one I found is the one I should go into. This garage was really small and ugly. Driver with less driving experience might have a problem to park as everything is so small and usually when there are 2 parking spots, only one can be used as the 2nd one is then unusable due to size. Also I was completely lost where can I park as many spaces had info about private parking and the rest had written something like Broadway what was not name of the hotel so I had no idea where to park. Better marking would definitely help. 2nd really bad experience was with wellness. I need to admit that wellness was the reason why I have chosen this hotel. This was complete disaster as no only hotel guests were in and therefore it was crowdy like hell. In small jacuzzi were around 10!! people sitting most of the time. Steam sauna had almost no steam. And classic sauna was as well full of people, all wearing swimming suit without any towels so all seats were full of water and sweat. And of course due to number of people door of sauna was being open too often so the temperature was too low. Unfortunately this experience was so negative, that I would never return here :(

The hotel's facilities are fantastic. I want to share my experience with the spa service. I booked the massage a day before the service which was then scheduled at 8-9pm. I told them my room number during booking. After I finished the massage and swimming at 9:30pm, I was told to pay my massage service immediately. I didn't have my card or phone with me. I thought this would be added in my hotel room charges. I was so cold and wet to run back my room to settle the bill. If I were told that I had to do it immediately, I would have brought the payment. It was a very bad experience for a customer.

Overall I would give this hotel a 2 star rating. The location is nice since it's very close to the turistic places but the building itself needs more investment. Our shower had mold growing in it and the tiles were coming off allowing water to leak on the bathroom floor. We had to use at least two towels to clean all the water. And while there was a bathtub with a shower, since it had no curtine and the shower head wasn't place in the most convenient location it was hard to use it.
The air conditioning worked well in the living area but the one in the bedroom did not, and both of them were loud so it was hard to keep them on throughout the night.
The gym was nice but the pool is always used for classes making it hard to enjoy. Only half of the pool can be used and it has the same depth all around which is not ideal if you have kids.

It was a big apartment with a small kitchen. I wouldn't say that the kitchen was neccesarily since there were almost no cocking utensils.
The room was too hot, and it took at least 24 hours to get the room cooled down just a bit. The aircon was very noisy, we had a had time falling asleep, opening the window was no option, it was also loud outside.

The location was perfect, gym was good. The spa was so so.. the sauna was closed that day. As we paid extra for the spa, it was a bit of a disapoinment.

Don't think that we would have survived during the summer. Too bad it has good potential.

Hotel is excellently located, rooms are well appointed and Spa facilities are very nice. We have stayed in this hotel many times before over many years, it is a good hotel, but was a great hotel, it now seems that the property is suffering from a lack of investment.
Still if you want a hotel with a pool and in a great location this will be a largely positive stay.

Staff at the front was rude and specially girl who was mostly there during the stay in the morning time. She wont tell anything. Shw would just say she does not know you would ask her and she would rude on your face. She was terrible. When you would check in or out they would say oh we dont look after the propert my colleague will help you which reflects how non cooperative the staff is they are only helpful to Hungarians. Never booking this hotel ever again. Wou lkd advise everyone not too.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an apartment room. Everything we needed and ask for was quickly done and taken care of. Excellent and I mean excellent location. The lobby looks a little plain but what a nice apartment and the workout room/gym, the pool, jacuzzi, steam sauna and dry sauna were excellent. Yes they were always busy and a lot of people but still great to use. Loved Budapest. Great city. Friendly residents and people. Great wine, beer and food. We had a fantastic vacation at this hotel and will recommend this city!!!

This hotel is modern and clean. Spa facilities are also included but we didn't have enough time to use it. The location is close to tourist attraction where you can catch the hop-on-hop-off bus or catch a metro nearby. We booked the standard hotel room but was upgraded to an apartment which was so spacious! We had our own kitchen, living room and washing machine included. Breakfast was good too and there are a number of really good local restaurants nearby.

Excellent gym with pool and sauna. It is free for hotel quests so we went every morning! Didn’t buy breakfast from the hotel because in the room you have kitchen and local market is just few blocks away. The room is spacious and it’s nice to have a separete living room/kitchen area. We really enjoyed our stay and liked the local area. Short walking distance to nice restaurants and shops. There are few downsides which didn’t bother us too much. The room temperature gets high on sunny days and there’s a party hostel next to Bliss so you might here some noise.

Average hotel, got to my room. Air conditioner didn't work and pumped hot air into the room (no windows open, as they are fixed glass). No iron or ironing board present (even though it was listed in the hotel details). Arm chair and some furnishings were stained.

Plus point:- The property was located well to access all the main tourist attractions easily and it was reasonably clean.

Negative points:- Room very hot as Air conditioning turned off because “it is not their season for it”, said the receptionist! (Website says rooms air conditioned, does not say only available when they think it’s hot). Wouldn’t have been too bad had it not been a very sunny and hot week! We tried to sleep with window wide open all night which didn’t make much of a difference but it also meant you had the constant noise from residents in the flats opposite. Also the tower building we were located in was very hot.

Access to the room was 5 floors up via a lift then walk outside across a pathway to enter another building and dependant on which room you had, then walk up several flights of stairs to your room. No lifts available in Tower Block.

There are no safes in the room. Reception offered to put things in their safe but not really sure how safe that really is nor is it convenient to access, so had to carry passports, money and valuables with us constantly.

Restaurant only open for breakfast, which is continental.

Cannot comment on spa facilities, unfortunately did not get to use as was closed by the time we returned from a day of sight seeing and eating dinner out.

Overall hotel was OK and a couple of the staff were helpful

Loved the location of this hotel as within 5-10 mins walking of most areas. Staff on reception really helpful. Spa nice with lovely hot jacuzzi. Room spacious and bed comfy. Shower powerful but annoyingly only half way up the wall in our room so had to hold. The reason I have given this hotel a good rather than excellent is that it could be cleaner - only dust but it could do with a good vac round the skirting/radiators etc.

Kitchen was not good for food prep. Nice location, although the street specifically is not very pleasant. Awesome to have a connected garage w/ elevator to lobby! Short stay in Budapest

The positives with this hotel are it is located close to restaurants and within walking distance off other good areas to eat. It is also only a 7 minute walk to the metro stop which takes you in to the centre within 10 minutes. The price was very reasonable and you get a small basis kitchen area which saved us having to get breakfast out at a café. I would not say you cook an evening meal unless you were happy with a microwave meal or an oven based pack meal but with so many nice restaurants why would you want to do this. There is a gym and swimming pool there but we did not use it so cannot comment on it but understand it is free to guests which is a bonus. Our limited interaction with the staff was fine and they seemed friendly enough.
The negatives I would say the actual nearly by streets are very run down with graffiti and a few odd characters (but we never felt threaten at any time during our stay in Budapest), also the hotel had a numbers of residents who looked less like holiday makers than living there. The rooms are a little tired and the pictures on the web site clearly were taken when they were new. The air con was ineffective and at night there was loud music in to the early hours some evening from nearby venues.
If looking for a hotel to stay which allows easy access to the centre at a reasonable cost and you do not mind the negatives above then this hotel is a good option.

Nice hotel, cosy atmosphere in the city centre

We have stayed in one of the apartments. Very cosy, we loved that we had the separate living room. We had a small balcony and the room was quiet. We used the swimming pool and sauna at the end of the day.

Staff was very friendly and helpful

The hotel was close to main attractions and walking distance to Sightseeing bus stops.

Good Location. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

When we arrived, it had been snowing and there were towels on the floor in the corridors to soak up the excess moisture. After a while the towels were grubby and one had a cigarette stuck on it. The furniture in the reception area is very old and falling apart. After the first night, we showered in the morning and then the most vile smell filled our room. We suspect the drains had backed up. Told the reception staff who said they would notify maintenance. The following morning the same thing happened and we asked to move rooms. The second room was slightly better in terms of size and cleanliness and we did not have the same problem as before with the smell.

The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful.

Good location as there was plenty of local food right around the corner. Just a quick walk to the Basilica. Staff was friendly and will order taxis if you ask. The sheets were uncomfortable. But the room was one of the biggest I’ve seen in Europe and the bathroom was very nice. We stayed in the “tower” portion of the hotel which has a nice view, but was difficult as we had to take an Elevator up to the 5th floor cross over outside then go up a few flights of stairs. View was worth it though because we could see the parliament building

Great location, we walked everywhere. Staff were very helpful and arrange a taxi for us to the Szechenyi spa, and to the airport. Pool facilities were great. This hotel was great walking distance to the tourist attractions we visited. We only stayed 3 nights and didn’t travel far from the centre, so went everywhere on foot, although I hear that public transport was good (but to avoid the cabs which may rip you off). All the hotel staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Everyone in Budapest seemed to speak great English, so no problems there. Our apartment was perfect for what we needed. Only downsides were that the mattresses were a bit hard and tiling in shower was a little mouldy. Didn’t eat in the restaurant as €12 for breakfast seemed a bit pricey. We had massages in the spa which were fairly cheap, but not amazing. Spa is quite small and allows children, which were a bit disruptive.

Basic but very clean

When we booked through expedia the hotel got in touch straight away to ask if we would like them to book us transfers from the airport. We said yes and they confirmed it was booked via email. When we arrived at Budapest airport we waited for over 40 minutes for the arranged transport to turn up and it never did. After 2 emails to the hotel and no response we jumped into a taxi. We explained what happened at checking in and they were not bothered one bit. Totally uninterested. Very disappointing that the staff literally had nothing to say. I don't expect them to weep with sympathy but a simple sorry about the error would have been nice.
The room itself was very basic, no nice little touches just the bare minimum to make the stay comfortable. Not a big deal as being in the city we weren't expecting to stay in the hotel very much.
The pool and spa was nice. Packed full of locals so not exactly relaxing as was so busy. Was nice for a swim as the pool was cool. Jacuzzi lovely and hot.
I would advise any tea and coffee drinkers to take own as they do not offer any complimentary drinks in the room. 20Cents a tea bag and 30Cents a sachet of instant coffee. Not a large amount of money by any means but odd when you pay the price and stay in a '4 star' hotel.
Rooms were cleaned daily and well.

The gym is the main reason I booked this hotel and it certainly did not disappoint. They have everything you could need there. The room was super comfortable.

A great base for a city break!

Very comfortable, surprisingly quiet, spacious apartment, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring this marvellous city. We made good use of the pool, Jacuzzi and sauna, which were included in the price. Bliss is really great value for money!

Last minute booking

While traveling through Europe we decided to add one more night in Budapest. Choose this hotel mainly because of the price and because it was close to the hotel that we had already booked for the next 2 nights. After a very difficult time finding the hotel we were greeted by who I thought was a very arrogant man. It was obvious that he was training a new employee as he was checking us in, he kept correcting the other employee in front of us and I felt bad for him! we knew that we were going to be in the adjoining building but did not expect that we’re going to be on the 6th floor and have to carry our luggage up a very narrow staircase! Room was extremely small and not very clean, old and outdated. First thing I discoveed was that the sink was clogged. Then found a very large insect crawling across the headboard! Gross! Upon further inspection noticed hairs on the bedsheets! Sheets were very old and scratchy. Asked for another sheet to put on top! Mattress was old and uncomfortable. Very noisy outside as well. Breakfast was decent. When we attempted to shower it was then that we noticed that the shower was also clogged! Took forever to drain and almost flooded. Because we were only staying the one night decided it wasn’t worth it to complain. Did mention the clogged sinks in the am and received an apology! Rooms are not as pictured on the website unless you are booking an apartment or suite, Pictures of this “wing” should be included as well

Nice Hotel for city break

Nice Hotel rooms clean and bed comfortable, reception desk if very drab and reception is busy with outside guests who use the fitness rooms. Not well signposted did not find the swimming pool until 2nd day. Hotel could definitely do with a bar.

Clean, spacious, convenient hotel downtown

This is the second time I stayed here and had a slightly worse experience, but overall I was happy with our stay. The rooms are very clean and spacious, and the beds are comfy. We also love the amenities: pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. Plus there's a parking garage next door, which is super convenient. The issue we had this time was the broken AC system, which was unfortunate given that we visited during a heat wave. Thankfully, the AC was fixed first thing in the morning, which we greatly appreciated. The staff was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make us comfortable. For example, they were going to give us another room...unfortunately the AC was not working well there either, but I appreciated the effort. Overall, we had a good experience and the AC issue was quickly fixed. The AAA+++ customer service and the central location are unbeatable.

The room was very ggod.We had a bit of problem with the electric stove to operate,but after the staff showed what to do
it was fine.Very good location-close to Oktagon and the Metro and street cars # 4 and 6 to the Danube.
