It's located at a very convenient site, just opposite the Nyugati train station. It's nearby eateries and walking distance to major sites. The hotel room is clean and equipped with modern amenities. The large windows are great. The staff is helpful. Perhaps the hotel can review the luggage room as the lockers for large suitcases are limited. Maybe the hotel can consider replacing the locks that make it obvious to hotel guests that lockers are taken up or available. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The hotel was very easy to find which was brilliant after travelling. We walked after the airport bus dropped us off after the last stop. It took about 20 minutes. We arrived earlier than check in but there were lockers to leave our bags. Plenty of choices for breakfast and always had tables available, even though there were a few large groups of teenagers staying at the hotel. Great location being not too far from The river and must see attractions. There were plenty of shops and cafes around. Only downside was our room was right above reception and the wall above it in front of our room was open so when going to sleep it could be quite noisy. We would stay here again but avoid that room.

I didn’t expect much given the price, but this hotel turned out to be a real gem.

The location is extremely convenient, surrounded by plenty of shops and bars. There’s even a lovely cinema nearby that shows films in their original language with Hungarian subtitles. Although the area looks busy on the map and is right by a major transport hub, the soundproofing is excellent. I stayed on the 4th floor and barely heard any outside noise.

The room was spacious, well designed, and very functional. I especially liked the bathroom — a proper-sized sink, plenty of space for personal items, strong water pressure, and a great shower. There’s also a heated towel rack, which is perfect for drying laundry. The hairdryer was a bit small, but it worked well even for my long hair.

The TV was large, making it comfortable to watch from bed. There was a complimentary bottle of filtered water, which tasted great. The wardrobe was spacious, with an additional coat-hanging area and a few chairs. Everything was very clean, and the overall standard felt comparable to a 4-star hotel.

Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. The fruit juice isn’t freshly squeezed but is still 100%. There are two coffee machines, so you don’t have to queue — a thoughtful touch. The hotel also provides lockers in the basement where you can store your luggage.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all types of travelers — couples, solo guests, elderly visitors, and families with small children.

The T62 Hotel for me is such a great hotel to stay in. The location was perfect for exploring the city as a first time visitor, a 10 minute walk from the Parliament building. Also opposite a train/metro station, really good transport links. My room was comfortable, very clean and the hotel really is soundproofed! I had a quiet night's sleep every night. The breakfasts were amazing, so much choice for everyone including me on a gluten free diet. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I would DEFINITELY choose to stay here again if I come to Budapest again.

The property itself was very well kept. The rooms need more cleaning. We found someone else’s fingernails on the carpet. There were spiderwebs and dust in the ceiling and near the lamps. Dead bugs on the wall. The shower had mold & it was uncomfortably small. The room was OK. The pillows were uncomfortable. Could hear all the sirens. The breakfast was supreme. Good location. We walked everywhere.

Well sited next to the main railway and metro stations the room was clean and well provided. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with any queries you might have with local attractions. The hotel itself has a very unique decor which we found charming. Breakfast was a real feast. Almost anything you could think of was available; both hot and cold buffets and drinks with the staff continually replacing settings once guests had left. I can't fault the T62 and if we should return to Budapest, we will be sure to stay there.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and attentive. The hotel is very well located next to a metro station. Everything we wanted to see was reachable within half an hour.

The breakfast was varied and tasty. They had dinner rolls that I really enjoyed with butter. We were sad we had to leave the last day early before breakfast was being served.

My girlfriend loved the shower.

The hotel and its location are fantastic for getting around the city. The staff were kind, courteous and very polite. The rooms however are not well cleaned. Carpets are stained, my sheets were stained and the walls had fingerprints and were dirty. I did get moved to a second room with cleaner carpets but the couch was very dirty and we asked for a sheet to cover it. The staff were helpful in accommodating our requests but the cleanliness of the hotel deserves a deep clean.

Avoid - you can get better room in this area

Knowing that I will have traveled for more than 26 hours I specifically booked a room with king size bed to rest. Was assigned as very uncomfortable room with 2 twin beds and when I brought this up -I was said that there is nothing they can do.
Misleading information on booking site - clearly said “Standard room, one king bed. “
Unhelpful receptionists who would not take responsibility for the downgrade.
Otherwise nothing really special about this place - noisy neighborhood, worn out carpets, small room.
There are many other hotels in the area so do not stay here - you can get better.

I loved it here. For context, I was EXTREMELY stressed after missing my connection to Romania at the Budapest-Nyugati station in the evening, and made a very last minute booking here. The staff here were very friendly, the room was beautiful and very clean, and the vibes felt very modern and chilled out. There is a bar downstairs, but it didn't feel like one that people get drunk in and are loud, it felt more like a place I could sit down and chill out in (and in fact I'm considering it while continuing my Budapest stay around the corner). The ONLY negative is they didn't have any more rooms available at the same price as I would have stayed for longer!! But overall, this is a great place to stay, especially if you're feeling a bit lost or unsafe in a new town.

In a great location, a bit noisy (on a Friday night, some club pumping out music through the night), but right next to a tram stop and many museums and Parliament buildings a comfortable walk. Staff very helpful with air conditioning, (windows closed, keep it on, made all the difference). Nice breakfast, if a bit of a scrum and needing a bit more space for the number of guests. Thank you, it's a great city and we had a really good time.

The hotel is fine, no issues with it at all. We were supposed to receive a 20% discount on drinks at the, but when in Budapest, why stay in the hotel? There are lots of places to go sit down and enjoy the city and have a beer. Plus, any hotel charges more for drinks so a discou t of 20% isn't going to make it worth while.

Hotel was in the perfect spot. Transit was accessible right outside the door to the hotel. Everything I wanted to do was within 25 minutes walking distance or a quick transit ride. The room was small, but I wasn’t in it often, but it was very clean and tended to Every morning. The breakfast was really nice, but I would suggest grabbing a cappuccino or coffee elsewhere as the coffee machine wasn’t great. They let me check in an hour early as my room was ready, which was a relief since I had been travelling from Vienna. One small complaint was that the Tram outside the hotel was quite loud so every time it came to the stop I could hear it. Perhaps opting to get a room on the other side of the building.

Fantastic Stay at Hotel T62 Budapest

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel T62 in Budapest! The location is absolutely perfect—right next to a metro station with numerous bus and tram connections just steps away. It’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city. There are plenty of dining options nearby, along with small supermarkets like SPAR and Lidl, and even a McDonald’s right across the street.

The staff were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. Although the official check-in time is 3 PM, we truly appreciated that they allowed us to check in early at 12 PM, which made a big difference after our journey.

A lovely touch is the water fountain at the entrance, a thoughtful gesture towards sustainability and guest comfort. Our room faced the main road, but thanks to the double windows, it was surprisingly quiet—we barely heard any street noise. The neighbourhood felt safe and welcoming, even in the evenings.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We also loved the modern art decor throughout the lobby and hotel, which added a vibrant and stylish atmosphere.

When it was time to check out, we were able to store our luggage in the secure locker room on the -1 level, which was very convenient and gave us peace of mind.

Overall, a great experience—highly recommended for anyone visiting Budapest!

This was my husband and I’s first time in Hungary and Budapest is amazing! T62 was a big reason why our stay was so nice. Beautiful, clean room, huge bathroom, super close to great attractions and a train station, great morning breakfast (totally worth getting), and nice hotel staff! Our stay here was nothing but lovely! The hotel is next to the train/metro station, so it can be a bit noisy, but that didn’t bother us whatsoever! It also felt extremely safe to walk around at night. We hope to come back to Budapest someday, and if we do, we will definitely stay here again! Köszönöm szépen T62!

Location was great, a 20-25 min walk to the Danube River and all the attractions.

Parking was a bit tricky. Mentions onsite parking which is not exactly the case. You'd need to park a little while away which could be a pain if you have a lot of luggage. On the weekend, street parking is free. In either case, down the parking app (you can see the QR code for it on the pay stands), it'll make your life easier.

For the hotel itself, very cute with a hip decor. Room was nice and quiet. 2 little quirks, a kettle for tea/coffee would have been great... and taking a shower, well you pretty much get water everything...

In the end, would have no issue staying here again and would recommend to others.

We had a wonderful stay at T62 Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel’s vibrant, modern design and welcoming atmosphere. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Budapest, with easy access to public transport, shops, cafes, and major attractions.

Our room was stylish, spotless, and surprisingly quiet despite being so central. The bed was super comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Check in was swift and informative. Room was cosy but spacious and tastefully finished. Our room was on the back which was very quiet with no noise pollution in the room.
Transport of all kinds is outside the front door. Restaurants and grocery stores all around. Walkable to everywhere.
Really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely recommend.
Spotlessly clean everywhere.
Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. Vegan items for me. My vegetarian husband enjoyed the pastries, cheeses and eggs in particular.

The hotel has a nice vibe. Seems to attract a younger crowd. The rooms are nicely furnished, sort of IKEA inspired.

I expected more of a vibrant bar, and it wasn't, so I didn't end up utilizing it.

The only negative thing was the taxi service they use. It was Budapest Taxi. The driver didn't know the city, or how to get to the river ports. Googleapa said it was a 17 min walk, and it took 35 min by taxi. And he didn't speak anything but Hungarian. Not a smart choice for tourists.

We were very happy with our stay. The location was ideal with public transit AND a train station directly across the street. Breakfast was wonderful as it offered a variety and allowed us to start our day immediately rather than searching for a place to get some food. There was also a grocery store and pharmacy around the corner. If we return to Budapest, we will return to this hotel!

Sometimes hotels are a little too trendy. This one had no shower curtain and the entire bathroom was flooded and wet after every shower. The bathroom sink was tilted in such a way that you could only see your stomach unless you sat on the little stool...which was wet after a shower.
The sink also tilted in such a way that glasses slid off into the basin and shattered.
The 24/7 bar was loud, and that noise carried up into the rooms.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and after we got stuck in the elevator, they gave us a free drink at the bar.

Hotel is super modern. Beautiful interior. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although the layout/facilities in the room appeared lacking. The bathroom mirror is very high, as is the towel rack. The shower is more like a wet room. Very small and the shelf is useless as it is on a slope so items fall off. No mirror to sit down in front of - where the table was with a chair was a tv. Huge cupboards but no iron/ironing board. Poor hairdryer.
