Very scary and dingy entrance. They charge €20 for cleaning but they don't even clean your room daily. I had to wait outsider for 15 mins before someone came to let me in.
Feels like a knock off cheap airbnb. I would avoid this property at all costs. The elevator to go to the place feels like it belongs in a dungeon. I will be contacting Expedia about this experience upon my return.

Was a great stay in Budapest. Amazing city. The apartment was comfortable and when we had problems with the heating the hosts were very accommodating. We opted for the apartment which was on the inside of the building and it was incredibly quiet.

Tatra Studio was a delight. Located just outside City Center but near major subway/train/tram lines that made it easy to get our the City & see all sites. There was a 24 hr convenience store to get what you need for breakfast also a larger supermarket less than 10 min walk. The studio was clean and very comfortable. Laszlo & his Team (thanks Chris!) are attentive to details - even providing tea; sugar; etc so you can start your day quickly. Building is beautiful w/lots of character and a lift! There are lots of cafes and a wonderful Hungarian restaurant less than 5 min away. Laszlo's follow up from the time of booking was great --providing information and staying in touch throughout the process. When we needed to get a taxi, Chris was there to help us and called and stayed w/us until it arrived. My husband and I will definitely go back to Budapest--a beautiful, soulful city and will certainly stay at Tatra Studio again!

The communication with Chris and Lazlo was excellent which made check in and out a breeze. The apartment was very modern and was within 10 minutez walk of the pedestrian area, the Buda side and Margrit isalnd which makes it great for touristing! Lots of trams and metros ndarby for further travels.

Budapest long weekend
Good location 5 minutes from Margarit Bridge. Walking distance of several attractions and also bus, tram, underground and mainline trains close by. The newly refurbished 1st floor apartment was in an old 6 storey building with a central courtyard. Access lighting to the apartment at 1030pm could have been much better, certainly for the first night. Familiarity improved access on following evenings. Only Hungarian language on 30+ TV channels but apartment was clean, comfortable, small but with all necessary facilities.

The apartment was only to blocks from the Danube which was hosting a small plane race over the weekend which was noisy but fascinating. It was a ten minute walk or so along the Danube to the Parliament and other sights. There was a terrific exhibit at the museum across from Parliament on Hungarian folk art through the ages.
There is no one on site but the staff was able to arrange a transfer from the airport and met us at the apartment to check us in, show us how everything worked and provide information on things to see and do. They were also supposed to arrange a taxi to the bus station when we checked out. The taxi didn't show but they were only a phone call away and took care of it immediately. I don't know if they forgot to call the taxi company or if the driver just didn't come.

Good option to stay in Budapest.
I stayed 5 nights at Tantra 4. Good value for money, walking distance to historical center, silent at night and the management company is very professional dealing with guests. Be aware that the building is old and the courtyard is to the interior of the building. However the apartments are modern and fairly equipped.

I've stayed 6 nights in studio no' 3. It is big enough, nicely designed and comfortable. It was also very clean. It is in a residential building which I really liked. Location is very good: walking distance to the river, to Margaret island, near attractions and to public transport. I also felt safe. Grocery stores, supermarket and inexpensive places to eat, in walking distance as well. The owners are kind and helpful.

I only have good things to say about Tatra 4 Studios. The staff members were very helpful and kept me informed of important things to know for my stay, even before my trip commenced. When I arrived, one of the staff members/owners personally met me and gave me recommendation of sights to see in Budapest. On my second night, I met and chatted with the other owner. I was amazed by how approachable and hands-on they were.
The property itself was in excellent condition and is conveniently located close to Nyugati train station. My room was a bit small, but definitely cozy and came equipped with a kitchenette, complete with cooking utensils. The downside was that there was no room service, but this was never a problem for a couple of days trip.
Overall, highly recommended.

Fantastic apartment with excellent service provided throughout our stay. 10 minute walk to the fantastic Parliament building and one minute walk to the Danube. Trams and buses available on the main road that runs close by. Peaceful apartment, well specified and very comfortable. Will return to both Budapest and these apartments

We needed a place in a hurry, and they replied immediately. Were very helpful over the phone, and in person. Gave us great directions for getting around by public transport. I enjoyed seeing what city apartments were like in Budapest (rather than tourist places). Taxi driver had a hard time finding place.

Convenient, clean and affordable apartment
I stayed with my wife in the apartment called \"Tess\" for 5 nights. It was a cozy, homey accomodation. Check-in was smooth, however there is no reception - only had to notify the landlord about our arriving time and he has let us in (he speaks fluently in English). The apartment was fully refurbished, nice decoration, bed, shower. The area is really good for night life, shopping, only few minutes walk from the River Danube and main attractions. Nyugati station is also only 10 minutes walk. I cannot really complain, perfect self-service accomodation and will be back again. Wifi signal was weak but managed to sync my FB and email with. Recommending Tatra 4 Studios for anybody who can live without served breakfast and daily housekeeping but room same standard as a 4 star hotel.

Nice apartment and the lady who checked us in was very hospitable. It's not 5* luxury but if you want a base in Budapest to explore from it represents great value. The WiFi was superb and if your into late night partying Morrison's 2 nightclub is less than 1 min walk away.

Stayed here for 4 nights while we explored the beautiful city of Budapest. The apartment was nicely decorated and located near a tram station as well as busses. We were lucky that it wasn’t too hot outside. The air condition didn’t really cool the room enough so we had to open the door nighttime before sleep to cool down the room. Besides that this was the perfect place. I made a mistake by not calling ahead before we arrived. But he was very fast over with the key for the apartment so we didn’t have to wait long at all :) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s thinking about renting a studio apartment. This is where I will stay if I ever return to Budapest!

Eine info wurde an die Tür geklebt als wir nicht im zimmer waren, als wir dann ankamen haben wir die info gesehen und die Tür war nicht mehr verriegelt.

위치와 가격은 정말 좋았어요. 하지만 시설은 사진만큼 깔끔하지 않았어요. 9번방에 있었는데 결정적으로 샤워부스가 난리였어요. 문이 완전히 닫히지 않아 물이 위에서 새고 하수관이 연결이 잘 안되어있는지 밑에서 물이 올라왔어요.
이거 외에 다른 부분은 불편함 없이 이용했습니다. 체크인 도와준 직원분도 늦은 시간이었음에도 불구하고 정말 친절하게 도와주셨어요.

Nice lägenhetshotell i hipstrigt veggie-område nära centrum. Passar den som vill smälta in med staden och komma bort från de allra värsta turiststråken, men ändå bo inom stadskärnan. Mataffärer, bageri och coffee shops på gatan bredvid. Enkelt att ta sig runt med kollektivtrafik, gångavstånd till centrum och det man vill se.
Lite trist med fönstren mot innergården, då det gav mycket insyn, samt att sängarna hade kunnat vara skönare. Trots detta är vi klart nöjda och kan rekommendera Tatra 4 Studios till andra par eller kompisduos som vill hitta ett billigt och bra alternativ under sin vistelse i Budapest.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in den Tatra4 Studios sehr genossen. Der Empfang war super, wir hatten Kontakt über mail/whatsup und wurden pünktlich empfangen. Das Studio hat alles, was man für einen Kurzurlaub oder auch längeren Urlaub benötigt. Uns hat jedenfalls nichts gefehlt. Es liegt sehr gut, nämlich ganz in der Nähe zur Margareteninsel und auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind um die Ecke. Ebenso Supermarkt und Restaurants. Wir können das Studio nur empfehlen!
