I would describe this more as a basic bed & breakfast than a hotel. While there is a communal kitchen, it is poorly equipped with only a microwave, kettle, and mismatched cutlery.

My stay in Room 209 was very disappointing. The room was in poor condition with lifting flooring, visible plumbing pipes, and dated decor that felt like student housing.

Most concerningly, there was a screw protruding from the bed frame under the mattress.

Noise is a major issue; the pub downstairs (Morrisons) is incredibly loud, so much so that I was offered earplugs at check-in. Furthermore, the building is undergoing renovations and the lifts felt unreliable. Breakfast was also a let down at €12, it was bland, basic, and poor value for money. The only saving grace is the central location.

Be aware this is above a very popular nightclub. Literally….my window was the only thing separating me from that and the courtyard. my noise cancelling headphones saved the day, otherwise it would have been horrific. However, the rooms themselves are clean and comfortable and the staff are helpful. Only other issue I had was no hairdryer, reception said it was in the room. But after searching every drawer and cupboard I couldn’t find. The cleaning ladies were really nice and the location is fantastic right in the middle of everything. Such a shame about the nightclub. Which has nothing to do with the hotel by the way.

Very convenient location for a city break. We did not realise that the building also contained a night club which caught us off guard however you could not hear the club at all and made a unique and exciting experience for the family. Staff very friendly, the breakfast display was perfect and we would 100% stay here again 😁

Location is not bad to see around the city but also noisy and not welcoming for family.Good for partying until morning.We were terrified at 4am by slammed doors and drunk loud noises.Breakfast was also poor.The staff is responsive and polite but they cant control no-soundproof rooms or the rest of issues i mentioned earlier.

While the hotel room itself met satisfactory standards, I was disappointed by the shower facilities. The curtain was merely a torn plastic sheet, and the shower knob proved frustrating to adjust. To make matters worse, the on-site disco played overwhelmingly loud music that lasted well into the night, often continuing past 2 a.m., which significantly disrupted any chance of rest

It is cheap for a reason.

So the hotel is right above a nightclub. You will hear the party going until past 6 a.m. There was no evidence that anybody cleans this place and construction was going on in the mornings. That being said, it is very reasonably priced and in a great location. So you get what you pay for I guess.

A night out/weekend away, not for kids!

This hotel is in/above a nightclub which has music until 4am. The hotel itself is as described and comfortable but the environment around the hotel is a total club scene. Great for party weekends away with friends but not for a family.

The place was conveniently near Nyugati train station as well as the Parliament and other main attractions.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Ï would consider some problems with the stay during Summer as it may get very noisy with windows opened but at this time of year it was very calm and silent.

I would recommend this places only for young people looking to party. The hostel is above a night club and it tends to be very loud. So don’t expect to have so much to sleep. Also you listen when Someone is leaving or getting in with the wheels of their bags. We had two rooms. The first one had everything ok except the lights behind the bed didn’t turn out. The second didn’t had curtains so you could see the lights outside. Although the staff was extremely nice, helpful and excellent service, also it has a great location. But I would recommend jt only for youngsters or party people.

The hostel is in a good location. It is also great for young people who go to Budapest to party. But, if you are just looking for a place to rest your head for the night, do not go here. It is right over a nightclub and the rooms are hot, so the window must be open. The beds do not have any kind of privacy screens, so everyone who comes in in the middle of the night and turns on their personal light wakes the entire room. Also, it's over a nightclub. This was not stressed when I booked the room. If you are a young 20-something who likes staying up until dawn, enjoy. If not, look elsewhere.

Stayed in a private room with a friend and unfortunately it was quite warm. Check in was also confusing because the front desk thought the room was already full. After ten minutes of trying to find a different solution, he went and checked the room and it was available.

Otherwise it was cheap and not far from many of the sights in Budapest.

Nice hotel close to the city centre and Urban!
But on Saturdays, they organize parties in their bar on the 1st floor. So, we can hear the music in our roon, but if you are completely tired as we were, you just fall asleep without taking care, haha!

The room was not as nice as the rooms pictured. A bit drab and scuff marks on the wall. Good bathroom but you have to pay a deposit and receive towels. There is a nightclub on the ground floor but we were not disturbed by it in the evening. Overall it was ok for a budget hostel option.

We stayed there for 3 nights. The beds were very comfortable and they were pre-made which was nice because that's usually such a long process. The music downstairs was very loud; however, I knew that there was a bar/club there I just didn't think we would be so close to it. I wish they told you what room you would be in when you booked so you could request a room further away. Other than that, everything was perfect. It was very clean. Bathroom facilities were nice. I wish towels were included but that is never the case sadly. The staff was nice and welcoming until I couldn't find my receipt for my towel then one of them was kind of rude. When you check in you get a free entrance ticket to the club which was convenient. It would have been cool if you got a free bus pass ticket for your stay because figuring out where to buy tickets was sometimes a bit challenging.

Identify to the bouncers that you are staying in the Hostel. The main floor is a Bar/Pub Electronic Music Club. NOISE to 630am in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, I do not recommend. I adapted after one night. First night I became a night owl. Subsequent nights I was too tired and slept through the noise. There is a modern kitchen with large refrigerator. Overall I had a pleasant stay here. But you have to adapt to the noise & the ventilation if your window faces the inside courtyard where the Club is playing loud music.

Nice hotel, but unclean conditions ! Bed Bugs !

I certainly WON'T be staying at this place again, as I got bitten all over by bed bugs on my first night there.

Booked a 3 night stay with some friends, so we were all sharing a room (room 213). Everything seemingly went well, but on the first night I got bitten all over by bed bugs. The next day started OK, but by the end of the day, the bites had appeared, and I was covered in red, swollen bumps. I then inspected my mattress when I got back, and sure enough, there was a colony of them right underneath my mattress. The other guys in the same room though were unaffected, so maybe I just had the 1 unlucky mattress.

Apart from that, the hotel was actually pretty good. Good WiFi, good location, and the staff were as helpful as they could be. They moved us to another room when I showed them my bites. However, what should have been a great trip catching up with friends in an awesome city was ruined for me. The bites were so bad (and visible), that I didn't leave the hotel for the last 2 days we were there.

Great location but very noisy hostel!

The location is amazing, perfect to visit the attractions walking.
Free tickets to enjoy the night club downstairs.
Nice and cheap bbq restaurant near by!
The room (for 2 people) is huge!
I didn’t like 2 things in the hostel, the shower is small and you have to press the valve every 20 seconds to keep the water on, the night club in the ground floor plays very loud music and even in the highest floor you can listen while you try to sleep.

We arrived very late at night, but when we woke up, we were very itchy and realised the bed were full of bed bugs. We killed at least 7 bed bugs that were full of blood. Immediately asked to change room & the receptionist was kind to do so.

Great hostel, friendly staff, great location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hostel was in a great location (close to tram lines) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a lovely balcony and view. The facilities and the room were clean, although there was a bit of a weird smell from the drain in the bathroom (but that probably cannot be helped so much). There was a huge Halloween party the night we checked in, but we had no problem with falling asleep (couldn't hear it from our room).

Good size rooms with night club music all night

Room size was good for the number of beds, on-suite bathroom was a good deal but the shower was broken. Security to the room was very good (key fob). The building hosts a big night club right in the first floor and the music goes on and on until late night making it difficult to sleep (earplugs is a must) as the noise gets to every single room. One of the girls (young blonde) at the front desk was extremely rude and unfriendly (for a hostel).

What is visible is nice, what about the unseen ?

The lounge area and common areas that are open are clean but the lounge area bathroom always smelled of urine and my room had many broken and unfixed things. The shower head was broken, the bathroom door was broken, and there is a club attached to the hostel which makes it difficult to sleep. You can easily hear the loud music and loud people. If these few things are fixed than it can be a 5 out of 5

Very very noisy as our room are facing the street. No good sleep since we were awake many times by ambulance bi-bu noise & the full power of the car's noise.
Although from their website mentions the room has been renovated, the shower got nowhere to put soap. The shower came off the bracket couple of times & almost hit my head. No hot water for shower, only slightly warm. Wifi was on & off.
Night club is on the ground floor which adds noise & security concern.

I staye at the Full Moon Hostel for 5 nights and had a great time! The lobby was full of flyers for all different kinds of events that take place in the city. The staff was very helpful explaining the public transportation and how to sign up for events.

I was afraid it would be loud at night from the club downstairs but on the second floor I slept soundly and could barely hear a thing.

The club (Morrisons 2) was so much fun and was packed every night.

The only thing I would complain about was that the room did not look like the pictures advertised on the website but it was still clean and comfortable.

Walking distance from many restaurants, metro, tram and all the crucial sights to see in Budapest.

Would definitely go back!!

You pay for what you get

We stayed here 2 nights. My boyfriend and I had a private room with an ensuite bathroom. It would have been a good room if the blinds worked. The room was super loud because it faced a main street and super bright since there were no drapes! There is a night club attached to the hostel. I knew this when booking so i expected that to effect my sleep. It actually wasnt as bad as i thought. The staff were helpful and friendly. A little far from the places we wanted to be but public transportation was easy and close by.

Well it's a nice funky hotel for youngsters who want to party .. Not recommended for early risers or elderly people ...no towel in the room .. But if you pay a deposit you will get one .. There is a series of staircase to get to the elevator on the first floor so if you have heavy luggage be prepared ..also a nightclub in the same building .. But i think just to sleep the night a great place very helpful reception and freshly painted walls rooms are clean and location great if you are a party person this is it ..go to morison club downstairs have a free entry and party the night away and then climb a level up and your in your room .. What else could you want ?

Great priced hostel near attractions

The price was so great. We got a double room with our own private bathroom for under $45/night. The location was pretty good, within walking distance to parliament (5-10 minute walk) and a short train/bus ride to other tourist attractions.

Only thing that was a bit annoying was entering the front door after 6pm. Inside the hostel was a club called Morrison's 2, which is very popular and crowded on certain nights of the week. There is a bouncer right outside the door, who will not let you enter the lobby without showing your room key. My friend and I had come back to the hostel at different times, since I had the key I had no problems getting in. But he was not allowed in without the key. On top of that, the wifi was out that evening so we weren't able to get in contact for several hours.

Except for our one unfortunate night, I thought overall this was a great place to stay. And Morrison's 2 is probably one of the most impressive clubs I've been inside of, with 5 or 6 different rooms with different themes (hip hop, pop, house, karaoke). So much fun!

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura dal 12 al 15 marzo. La posizione dell' Hotel è strategica con tante comodità intorno, supermarket, MC Donald, locali vari, metro e tram. Il personale è attento e cortese e qualcuno parla anche bene l'italiano. Le camere sono pulite, piccole ed essenziali. Il letto l'ho trovato molto comodo ed anche il cuscino ed è la prima volta che mi capita. La struttura sorge su un Pub discoteca e se si alloggia ai primi piani può dare molto fastidio, x questo avevo chiesto alla reception di essere posizionata lontano dai rumori e loro mi hanno assegnato stanze al 3 piano completamente insonorizzate. Unica nota che danno 1 solo asciugamano ad ospite che però viene cambiato ogni giorno. Ma ne abbiamo chiesto da subito uno in più per la doccia e c'è stato dato senza problemi. Quindi la mia impressione è completamente positiva

Hay un bar/boliche en el hotel y molesta a la noche con el ruido. La ubicación del hotel está bien, está sobre una avenida. No entregan jabón de manos ni de ducha. Los enchufes apenas andaban y no estaba el control de la TV cuando ingresé, hay que pedirlo en recepción.

Nous sommes restés 5 jours, les 2 premières nuits furent Ultra pénibles car au centre de cet hotel se trouve une boite de nuit. Les chambres sont disposées telle une hacienda, notre chambre donnait directement sur la boîte... horrible. Le troisième jour, ils étaient en mesure de nous donner une chambre côté rue. Enfin nous pumes etre au calme. Je les remercie toutefois. A partir de ce moment , très bien . Hôtel proche de toutes les curiosités , hyper bien placé . Cependant , il aurait fallu prévenir, afin de choisir la chambre adéquat .

Das Frühstück war vier Tage lang immer dasselbe und die Auswahl war gering. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 4. Stock, wo die Türen jedes Mal knallten, wenn jemand vorbeiging. Am schlimmsten waren die zweimal wöchentlich stattfindenden Diskotheken im 2. Stock und die Bar im Erdgeschoss. Bis 3 Uhr morgens war es laut.

Camera stupenda, ampia, luminosa con il massimo comfort desiderabile. Posizione in centro città ottima e con pub al piano di sotto dove poter festeggiare a fine giornata.

Da vi ankommet til hotellet starter vi med at gå ind igennem et diskotek som ligger på “hotellet” (bed&breakfast) det er der intet oplyst om når du bestiller. Vi har bestilt 2 ENS værelser samlet, men får 2 forskellige, det ene værelse med en seng der har en skummadras som ikke er mere end 5cm, virkelig elendige senge.

Rengøring af værelser er heller ikke noget at prale af, under sengen ligger der gamle chips bøtter og badeværelset lugter at kloak

Da vi dagen efter får “rengøring” kommer vi op på værelserne hvor der kun er blevet redt seng (intet er skiftet) på nær håndklæder som vi med vilje lagde på badeværelses gulvet.

Billederne på hjemmesiderne er MEGET TAKNEMMELIGE OG stemmer overhovedet ikke overens med virkeligheden.

Morgenmaden kan også spares væk, brød og pålæg er fra dagen før. 120€ er det ihvertfald overhovedet ikk værd.

Hotellet ligger ikke i et center som beskrevet. Det ligger i en bygning med et to etagets bar/diskotek med terrasse i gården.
Man skal kæmpe sig igennem en kø af fulde mennesker hver aften for at komme ind, gennem slagter gardiner hvor der tonser fulde folk rundt på trapperne. Og elevatoren er blokeret.

Musikken og larmen starter kl 18 og stopper først 5.30. Den er så høj at sengen hoppede rundt af vibrationerne. Og fulde folk der kom hjem og larmede på gangene hen over hele natten. Ved en 7 tiden begyndte så det så at lugte af bacon, brød mm. Til morgenmaden.

Ikke egnet til andet end folk der er der for at feste ! De burde reklmere med deres gode faciliteter til de festene og ikke alle andre der ikke ønsker at nyde deres ferie med larm, dårlig søvn og utryghed hver aften.

TERRIBLE!

Worst hotel ever! It's literally in the same building just above a night club which is having loud music until 5 am. All the music is in the room, the toilets and shower looks terrible and smells, the bed was from wood with a very thin matress ehich was making very much screeching only by sitting on it. We left the hotel in the middle of the night even if we have had 2 flights from the north of Sweden and paid for the 2 nights, we found another hotel in the middle of the night just before Christmas.. it was very exoensive for us to find a last minute hotel at christmas time.. but it was impossible to stay at that hotel so we had n oother chance.The hotel doesn't look like in the pictures.

Horror: hotel in een discotheek

Verschrikkelijk. Hotelkamers gepositioneerd rondom open lucht discotheek in het midden van gebouw. Nauwelijks geluiddemping in kamer. Slapen, zelfs met oordopjes in, niet mogelijk door t geluid. Badkamer en bed verder goed. Op moment dat discotheek niet actief is, is het een redelijk goed en centraal gelegen hotel. Maar in weekend: gewoon niet boeken, of je doel moet feesten in discotheek zijn. Helaas is het niet mogelijk om de gemaakte foto’s te plaatsen. Reden onbekend maar dan blijft review hangen. Op foto’s zie je de verlichte ramen van de hotelkamer(s) met daaronder de open lucht discotheek. Op letterlijk 5 meter afstand.

Buena calidad precio

La estancia estubo bien, el hotel esta super bien comunicado con todo a 5 min caminando del parlamento de Budapest. Tiene tambien una linea de autobus la 9 que te comunica rapidamente con el centro de la ciudad y con el autobus del aeropuerto. El servicio tambien es muy bueno tuvimos un problema con la calefacción y en todo momento trataron de ayudarnos hasta solucionarlo. Es verdad que lo de tener una discoteca dentro del propio edificio no deja de ser curioso pero en ningún momento escuchamos ruido en la habitación. En la cuestión de las camas la que nos toco el colchón era algo fino y duro pero no era molesto. En general muy buena calidad precio.

Unten ist eine Night Club. Wir konnten gar nicht schlafen. Es war so laut, ich hatte gefühlt dass Bett vibriert. Sehr Laut, Nachbarn Hotelgäste zu laut, hat sich niemand gekümmert Ordnung zu bringen. Sauberkeit auch auf niedrigem Niveau, Zimmer wurde erst 16Uhr geputzt, weniger Tücher..
Budapest ist wunderschön, leider Hotel Auswal war grosste Fehler.

Die Unterkunft ist für junge Leute und Touristen sehr zu empfehlen. Unter dem Hotel ist eine Ruinenbar/ -disko, wo die Bewohner freien Eintritt haben.
Das Parlament ist 10min zu fuß entfernt.
Geldwechseln beim Mc Donandls ist am günstigsten, zwar nur in 50er EUR Schritten möglich, aber der Kurs ist nahezu 1:1

Välstädat, men lyhört

Bra läge och välstädat. Nattklubben under stör inte märkbart, mer än att det är stimmigt att gå till rummet under kvällarna. Däremot är det lyhört ut mot gatan, så utryckningsfordon etc kan väcka en om nätterna. Sängarna är ganska hårda, men i övrigt är rummet fräscht och bekvämt.

Отличный хостел с удобным расположением

Я искала номер с тремя раздельными кроватями и выбрала этот хостел. Всё понравилось. Отличное расположение, весь общественный транспорт в пешей доступности. Администратор был очень любезен, поселил нас немного раньше времени заезда. Комната большая, просторная, окна выходят на широкую улицу. Завтрак за 7 евро оказался отличным, вкусным и вполне разнообразным для поездки на пару дней. На первом этаже по вечерам открывается бар, но в нашу комнату звуки музыки не доносились. Бельё и полотенца чистые. Есть лифт до верхнего этажа, который работает с 06 до 18 часов. Интернет слабый, сеть часто бывала перегружена.
В целом проживанием довольна, хостел рекомендую.

Party ja, Urlaub nein.

Leider war nicht ersichtlich, dass es sich um ein Hostel handelt, welches nahezu direkt in einen Club integriert ist, sodass die ganze Nacht über Bässe durchs Zimmer vibrieren. Für einen Party-Urlaub ok, für eine Paarreise nicht empfehlenswert.

Assalto à mão armada! Mau demais.

Este hostel, é um embuste que utiliza estas plataformas para enganar quem lá vai.

4 meses antes da estadia reservei um quarto privativo com casa de banho a um preço abaixo do resto.

Quando cheguei ao hostel, trocaram me a reserva sem qualquer tipo de informação para uma camarata mista sem casa de banho. O que me forçou a fazer uma nova reserva.

Os quartos parece que tinham acabado de ser pintado (chão todo pintado), mas ninguém limpou, com uma discoteca dentro do prédio que não facilita a dormida de noite. E simpatia dos empregados deixa imenso a desejar.

Es un lugar ambientado para gente joven. La relacion calidad precio muy buena. Si no te importa pasear por la ciudad, puedes llegar a todos los sitios de interes andando y la alternativa del transporte publico muy cerca. El desayuno lo suficiente, y la habitacion sencilla pero lo que se necesita para unos dias de escapada urbana y muy buena calefacion.
Puede que se sienta algo de ruido por la disco que tienen, pero si te toca las habitaciones de la calle, apenas lo sientes.
Repetiria sin duda.

Detta hostel ligger bra med gångavstånd till det mesta. Ca 10 min promenad till shoppingcentret Westend. Det ligger ovanför en nattklubb som heter Morrisons 2 och är man känslig för ljud är detta inget att rekommendera. I vårt fall stördes vi inte så mycket av musiken på nätterna, utan mer av gästerna som skrek och bankade i dörrar. Positivt att de har reception öppen 24/7. Rummet i övrigt var fräscht.

Chambre incompatible pour un séjour de travail.

Ce n'est pas un hôtel, mais une auberge de jeunesse. Il y a une boite de nuit ou équivalent au rez de chaussé et la musique ne s'arrête que vers 3 heures du matin. Les gens sont très bruyants et les bruits de rue sont mal filtrés et nombreux. Le wifi ne fonctionne pas (ou très mal ) dans la chambre. Il n'y a pas de coin bureau dans la chambre. A noter que les serviettes de toilettes sont à louer ( 5 Euros ou 2000 Florins). Le personnel à l'accueil est par contre très courtois et disponible.

Vi endte på en sovesal hvilket ikke var planlagt fordi der var sket en fejl. Sovesalen havde udsigt til den tilhørende natklub og der blev spillet ekstremt højt musik indtil klokken 6 om morgenen hver dag.
