Decent clean room, reasonably sized for two of us with luggage. Friendly and helpful staff. Note that the air conditioning is SUPER strong (or it was in our room anyway), so you may actually need to turn it off occasionally - even in the warm Malaysian climate.

Staffs are Friendly including the Security guard. Near Central Market and a Chinese Dried food shop. Nearby Pasar Seni Train station. From the Hotel stated there is self Washing machine but under maintenance, they should update it. Toilet is small and easily get knocked.

The hallway and the bathroom is dirty.. and house keeping don’t clean the room unless you call them, house keeping don’t even clear the garbage … you have to call for everything!

And notice at reception for check in mentioned linen only change every 5 days for long stay !!!

Great stayed , Great location to access public transport within walking distance to LRT, MRT and Rapid KL buses. Near to main tourist attractions.
The set back was Superior room ,and bathroom a little small, and the floor carpet with oily stains and little smelly. The breakfast was average with little choices,but enough to fill up stomach. Worth the price for the stayed.

Well located near LRT and MRT as well as Chinatown. Plenty of food options. Room was rather small. The pillows were too hard and uncomfortable. One of the pillows even had some stains on it. If not for its location I would have stayed elsewhere.

The location is great with Central Market and Petaling St close by.
The room had everything I needed and the balcony with table and chairs was a welcome addition especially as the room was too cold and I couldnt adjust the aircon.
The bathroom was on the small size but was good for one and the shower had great pressure

To be fair it was only a 7 hour stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The room did what it us was meant to. Conveniently located in Chinatown and Paser Seni MRT.The best part of the stay were the friendly and helpful staff. From the check in desk to the security, they were awesome.Will consider staying here again on future trips.

Convenient short stay hotel

Only needed for one night before a flight. Very close (about 100 metres), to mrt station and bus station. Clean and comfortable. Night desk clerk was very helpful ordering a taxi using his grab app as we left at 5am before the mrt is open at 6am. Used the mrt in the evening to get to Jalan Alor and the nearby bars.

Vast choice of transport from free rides on GOKL bus (within KL) to different means of rail transportation, Grab, Uber, etc are within walking distance. Vast choice of food too. However, some guests may find the location being noisy.

pretty standard hotel.... hotel has private carpark but it is a separate 10 ringgit a day, as of this feedback. very close to petaling street but the area seems to be a shadow of itself. everybody seems to be selling very low quality knockoffs.... there are still a few heritage eateries in the area but the shopping seems a bust to me.

Nothing I liked about the hotel. The parking itself was a big put off. Managed by a third party so you have to pay RM10 but not guaranteed of a parking lot because it's only one floor at the basement. If you come later and there isn't parking, cars are just parked back to back till they spill to the entrance. You have to give your car keys to those managing the parking and they would remove the vehicles. The location isn't safe if you're staying with a family. If you plan to drive around instead of using public transportation, this hotel is not one for you. The amenities are limited, room is congested (mine was a family room but so cramped, there was water on the wooden floor, scratches on the floor too, no bath shampoo, the air cond was super freezing and couldn't be switched off) the list goes on and on.... won't come back here at all. Travelodge KL City Centre is a far cry from Travelodge Ipoh ( I enjoyed my stay at the latter)

Good location. Clean, Comfortable beds, great shower. If there were any issues with our room this was sorted straight away.
Didnt like how we were offered to amend the booking before a certain date as booked well in advance and that is why we booked through expedia but when we tried to change check out dates this was not available & paid via voucher so lost a nights stay, as our plans changed. Will not book another travel lodge again.

Excellent location for shopping and transit. Hotel is clean and staff is very friendly. The River of Life is only 6 min on foot. The KOGO purple bus is 2 min walk from hotel. It's a good hotel if you like to stay in the Chinatown area.

Great Location.

Whenever I visit Kuala Lumpur, Travelodge City Centre is my first choice.because of its location.
It is about 5 to 7 minutes walk to Chinatown, f&b outlets are available 24/7 and the Pasar Seni MRT station is just at the back.
I have always found the Frontline staff very friendly and helpful. However, for this trip, the counter staff seems to have changed. Previously, the counter staff helped me book Grab to various destinations. However, this trip, the counter staff said she cannot do it. I wonder whether this is a policy of the hotel.
The day duty Security Officer is someone who is very approachable and helpful. Each trip I will get to see him smiling and helping with luggages, etc. Really appreciate him.

Great Location

Each time I visit Kuala Lumpur, my first choice of hotel is Travelodge Hotel City Centre mainly because of its location.
It's just 5 minutes walk to Chinatown where good variety of local food is available. And the Pasar Seni MRT station is right at the back making travel to any major shopping mall a breeze.
Staff is courteous and helpful too. Room is of reasonable size for its price and cleanliness is maintained.

I really liked the staff they very friendly and helpful, but the most disappointing thing was the rooms. The floors, underneath the bed, in the bathrooms and the windows were very dirty. It was quite difficult to clean it myself, so I had to leave it to the Housekeeping.

Great location, within walking distance to Chinatown, mrt n lrt station and the bus hub! Soundproof is very good I couldn’t hear the noise off the busy street. Trouble is the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the pillow is quite firm. I had backache and neck pain for the 3 nights I stayed there :(

The hotel was good quality for Kuala Lumpur standards for the price that we paid. The location was excellent. The room was smallish but good enough for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and shower was big enough. The internet was fast and the check in area was quite big and good to use for waiting for a taxi or just passing the time. The one thing that I can complaint about is the cleaning service, we left the room around noon and came back at 4 pm and the room was still not cleaned, but it didn't bother us too much, as we were leaving the next day. It could have been a problem with a longer stay.

Good location for central market and China Town. There is a LRT literally 3 minutes walk away. Also Hop on Hop off stop right outside.

Staff were extremely helpful. At breakfast staff were cleaning up any mess made straight away so everywhere was spotlessly clean, as was my room and the rest of the hotel.

Only criticism I have was that the aircon was extremely noisy. I would certainly stay again .

Our Room 515 had a 180 degree view of downtown KL directly facing Central Market. I love the location and the modern, minimalist finishings in the hotel.
The bed was too soft for my preference but my companion enjoyed it.
Basic cable TV with only a few channels but there's free WiFi.
Went down for buffet breakfast at 9am and found empty trays so decided to eat outside. If they're charging extra for the breakfast, they should guarantee guests will be fed no matter of they come in late or early for breakfast.

The room was small but comfortable and clean. The outstanding feature of this hotel were the staff who were all friendly and anxious to assist. Breakfast was included but we did not eat at the hotel as we prefer al a carte over buffet, the breakfast seemed popular with the other guests. Ideal location for the Central Market and China Town.

Breakfast was very poor quality and very limited options. It would be better to do away with the breakfast and reduce the room price. Bear in mind this is a budget hotel and a cheaper room is more attractive than a poor breakfast. There are lots of cheap eats around the hotel with better quality and variety.
