Worst hotel experience of my life. Broken curtains hanging, old towels, extremely rude room service. How to change rooms from the noise on the 15th floor coming from the air conditioning units above. Bathroom sink blocked wouldn’t drain. TV reception very poor. never mind the 30 Indian men crowded around the entrance every day smoking and spitting - wouldn’t get out of the way. Was in the shower & came out to find room Service in my room. I asked him to leave and he refused and said he would only be a few minutes. I had to sit there in a towel while he made my bed. Completely serious warning to travellers - do not stay here. This hotel is the worst option I’ve ever had in KL. Almost had a fight with three drunk Indians who were partying in our corridor at 3:30am. Disgusting place to stay. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

I had to leave almost at midnight the bed was full of bed bugs. They tried to give me another room and I was sent to inspect it first with one of the housekeepers. I just looked at one pillow and there was a bed bug. No refunds according to their policy, but who can stay at a disgusting, bug infested. Stay away from this placeplace

The hotel is dated. The wallpaper was peeling. The caulk in the bathroom was a “quick fix” and was not carefully nor aesthetically completed.

The front desk girl was a bit sarcastic when I asked about amenities. When I asked a second front desk girl about visiting the Batu Caves, she told me not to go because it was a holiday. I was only there one day, so everything I was going to do was going to be in a holiday!

I asked about taking the train to the airport. Again I was told not to. In her second breath, I was told there would be a lot of traffic on the road. I told her that’s why I wanted to take the train!

I went to the lounge 3 times. No one was there.

The bath mat had holes in it. I reported this to the front desk. They just have ordered towels because at 10:22 pm someone showed up at my room with 2 towels. The rang the doorbell and knocked until I got up and answered the door. Then the gentleman wanted to come inside the room to swap the towels!

I believe Hotels.com needs to do a better job scrutinizing their hotels partners.

Overall, very good location! 5mins walk to the nearest LRT. Only 4 stops to KLCC Suria station. Room is clean, good sound proofing and well equipped. Just one suggestion, the shower hot and cold water isn't clearly marked. It looks like the marker indicator have worn off. And the pressure is too strong on first use.Cosmo Hotel KL is an easy recommendation for anyone staying in Malaysia city centre for a few days!

My mother celebrated her 88th birthday and was surprised with a lovely cake and some special gifts- thank you so much Sharon. This has been such a special time and so many wonderful memories for her

I believe it was a top four star hotel in kl but it seems that things have not been maintained and a lot of work needs to be done to fix the condition of rooms and facilities . Our room was smelly and run down with worn furniture and broken fixtures. The king sized bed in such a small room made it such that you could not open the cupboard door on one side where the ironing board was- thankfully we did not need to us it as it would have been very difficult to pull it out. On the other side of the bed it was so close to the wall that I had to shuffle sideways to get out of bed . The king bed was comfortable and the highlight of the room.

Horrible! The property has a stinky weird smell. We saw crockeroges running around in the dining room. One was on our chair and we told the waiter. He was taking his time to grab a napkin to kill it. It is in a good location for train and public transportation. Free Indian buffet breakfast.

The food at this hotel for breakfast is terrible. The chefs cook like they just learned how to cook. There is no food for Westerners. Everything is local or Indian food. The restaurant chairs are filthy covered with stains. The management of this hotel is so terrible that even when you call them, they refuse to answer their calls. Internet is constantly goes down at one time. This must’ve been a nice hotel but it is no longer a nice hotel. I strongly urge all people, especially if you’re an Expat or foreigner to not stay at this hotel there is nothing for you here. Malaysia is a wonderful country, but the ministry of tourism needs to go to this hotel and straighten it out

The lobby promised much more than the room delivered but for a one-night stay, it was fine. The mattress was old/bad and the AC was barelly cooling, otherwise the room was functionally equipped, incl. fridge and iron & ironing board. Very good breakfast. good value for the money but for a feeling of an upscale stay, go elsewhere. Good location, walkable to Central Market, TL tower, Chinatown.

The location is good. I booked the room without external window, the room was dark and damp, the pillows are horribly flat, dirty air-conditioning. The door lock failed to detect needed frequent reset.
I have a change of room to the executive suite, the situation in the room is better and cleaner. However there is still problem with opening the door .. overall stay was not great.

Air conditioning not working; it was so bad that the hallway was cooler than the room. To their credit, an engineer came to my assistance fairly quickly after I made a complain, but the room was still significantly warmer than many other places I’ve stayed in Malaysia/overseas.

There were ants and sandflies in the room. Enough said.

Property advertised as parking included - yeah right, it’s a third party parking and there’s no discount/subsidised rate, I had to pay the parking fee in full, thanks for that :)

Water pressure in the bathroom was weak.

I should’ve just paid a bit more at Sheraton

I'm glad to back to this hotel again after my last trip of KL 5 years ago, however most of the facilities already getting old still require renovation as well, such as some of the rooms are already getting old need to be improved asap~~

Meanwhile, they don't have the laundry service to deduct some points of the reputation for this hotel, I hope they can improve for that at this moment~~

Immediately when entering the room you get a whiff of a BO stench that cannot be masked or ignored. The bathroom had green mold forming. And the windows are small and glued shut. The bathroom is made of two separate segments, where you have to walk out of one to get into the other. There's not enough light coming into the room. Not as the pictures show and definitely not a 4-star hotel, not even close!

No window in room!

Bad smell in room when check in and I opened the door. Staff saw me that I asked him to spray fresher after 30 mins then I closed the door. Hair dryer was not working after I had shower. Next morning I said a girl at the reception and he called a repair for hair dryer. I was back to room at night so I went to the reception that hair dryer was problem again! It was lots of trouble to me!!

The Hotel is an old building very well maintained, meticulously clean to the last detail.
The location can not be better. Close to Chinatown, bus terminal, in a nice safe area with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores and shops.
The room very large with comfortable king size bed, quality furniture, refrigerator, coffee pot, safety box, large TV, cool a/c and strong WiFi. and hot water in the large bathroom.
My check in was fast, the staff very nice and polite and the security guards will run to open the door every time I was going in or out the Hotel.
I booked this Hotel for 3 days with a Non Refundable rate and I was very well aware of that. Unfortunately I have to leave a day earlier and I spoke to the manager Mr. Hanif and without hesitation he offered me a full refund for the night in question. What a nice gu. He knows very well what Hospitality is all about and this will reserve this Hotel again on my next trip to KL. Highly recommended!!

Location is convenient and that's about all for the positive points.
Be aware that \"no external view\" means actually no window. Hence the room feels like a prison cell.
Don't even try to argue with the staff or manager about it, they will tell you off and say if you want a window it's 50MYR more.

Overall cleanliness is poor, dirt on the wall, on the floor, found some hairs in the bed.
Shampoo and shower gel are actually the same thing in different bottles, and it is as pleasant as showering with dishwashing liquid.
Save money and don't take the breakfast option, the choice and the quality are very poor. After 11 year in Asia, probably the worst experience I had.

We booked a room with no windows, which was ok as that means we do not get the noise from the traffic downstairs. Hotel just directly opposite HSBC bank and very near to metro and fast food (KFC and McDonald's ). Buffet breakfast is if reasonable quality. Our bedsheet appeared not to have been changed since the last guest had stayed because we saw a note left for the previous guest under the pillow. Pillow was too soft for us despite having double pillows. We had an adjoining room and could hear the noise from the guests next door. Though it is a no smoking floor, but we can smell cigar in the air. The facilities worked well - aircon, warm water, tv remote, lights, etc. However, bath towels are not soft abd no hand towels given. Jalan Alor is 2km away and Berjaya Times Square not too far from hotel too.

Badly maintained hotel. Location wise Cosmo is excellent. Close to many attractions and public transport. However, the rooms are dirty, and the staff working there does not care. Checked in, room had no towels. Requested towels from the reception. 4 hours later, still no towels. Staff informed us they were waiting delivery of their towels later that afternoon. Not good when you had been walking in scorching heat al day. I had to talk with a manager for clean towels to 'magically' appear.

Later that evening we went to bed, only to discover that the bed sheets were dirt as well. Called reception and they send someone with a new set, only to discover the new set was stained with BLOOD! Staff that brought them never apologised or reacted. Just made a 'not again' face left the room and brought in a new pair.

Not sure anyone should stay in this hotel. Ever...

COMFORTABLE HOTEL WITHOUT PARKING AREA

This hotel is great! The room is clean, bed is comfortable and service is acceptable. Security is not that friendly.. asked where to park, doesn't even know where. 🙄

Everything about the hotel was great, however, those who are driving may want to consider as there is NO PARKING LOT for you to park.

The nearest parking would be at Central Market open carpark. It will be charge based on hourly rate.

We paid our parking for RM19 from 5am to 1pm. The parking fee is ok.

It is just inconvenient to walk... they say about 4 minutes walk... but i think it took us about 8-10 minutes.

Overall, I will still consider this hotel if I were to travel by flight, bus or taxi/grab. Their hotel is super clean and comfortable for the price we pay. 👍

I had a dramatic experience of bed bugs in Room 1227 on Feb 7th 2019.
I stayed in Cosmo Hotel with no problem before & this is my second stay, I was devastated when I was woken up by a lot of bites on my neck & arm at night. The hotel moved us to another room and confirmed the next day that the room was infected by bed bugs!

The hotel was great value for money! I paid only SGD46 for a twin room inclusive of breakfast for 2. It turned out much better than what I expected. The location was great, just a stone throw from the Masjid Jamek station. Pasar Seni and Petaling Street is just a very short walk away. The room was spacious, clean and bright. Aircon, hot water was good. Safe box, iron, hair dryer was also provided in the room. The buffet breakfast has quite a good spread with some local fare, a noodle station, an egg station, bread/toast section and some fruits. But the food is just so so (e.g. the nasi lemak sambal is cooked half heartedly with lots of ketchup in it). Good value for a 1 or 2 night stay but it's not something I want to be eating every morning for an extended stay.

We arrived late and check in was a breeze. The room is clean and comfy. Not too spacious but just right to go around. There was cloths iron provided and it was really a big help. Breakfast is ok. Not much selection and it seems like they dont want to refill what is missing. We are not too fussy about it so it was ok. The hotel location was excellent! River of life, central market, textile museum and alot of other major mosque surrounds the hotel. There was starbucks on the ground level. Kfc, mcdo and burger king is just 2-3mins walk away. Indian food serve on banana leaves is just a mere 4mins walk. There was a train station nearby aswell. For location, this hotel is really a 2 thumbs up for me. It is not as noisy as bukit bintang area but a 5RM grab can get you to all the hot spots. Overall we are pleased. For sure i will comeback and recommend Cosmo Hotel to my friends.

Returning to Australia from Sri Lanka I used this place for a 2 day stay. The hotel was as advertised close to the MTR and short distance to the KL Market. I just wanted to try the superior room at an extra rate of 50 ringgit I found it value for money with free bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities apart from the usual toiletries and iron plus hairdryer which made it a complete hotel room. Breakfast was not bad and general service was very good.

For the price you paid, the hotel is worth it

Location wise was okay. i needed it to be close to my customer. Room was small but clean. Everything is in its place but no wow factor i can think of

Decent for the price, will stay again

Good location, walking distance to masjid jamek. Room is clean decent, love the waterfall shower. The bathroom is covered by glass door, would prefer a solid door. Dental kit was not present when we checked in, though it was swiftly delivered when we called the reception. For the breakfast buffet, the food choices are rather limited

Close to Majid Jamek LRT is a plus Bathroom toilet is small and bath water leaks into the toilet side. The maid service clean up not thorough. Left my coffee cup unattended I.e unwashed. The bath towels aren’t replaced. Took more than 5 minutes to have someone answered at the front desk. The in room safe not function explanation is replacing new safe. Tv limited channels. If raining no tv.

great location and value

Overall, great location and value.

ROOM: Room and was clean and had amenities like iron, hair dryer, toilet hose. I had an interior windowless room so there was a bit of mold in the grout. The shower pressure and temperature were great. The bathroom fan is linked with bright lights in the shower and bedroom so one cannot leave the fan on when leaving the room or overnight which contributes to the mold problem. The wifi was consistently available and fast in the room.

LOCATION: The hotel location is great and within 5-10 min walking distance of Central Market and Chinatown, as well as being centrally located.

SERVICE: We didn't make use of the breakfast which was not included in our rate or any hotel services, but I did appreciate the \"breakfast-to-go\" option they had near the entrance. The front desk was also very helpful when I asked for options for getting to the apartment.

Nice hotel.area a bit dodgy

Fast and efficient check in. Had a room with no window at first but room smelt so i paid 50myr to upgrade to a room with a window and you also get free breakfast and a beer for that myr. Fully recommend the upgrade
