Hotel was good, central location. Breakfast was pretty good too. Underground parking around the corner, free over night on street parking 8 pm - 8 am which worked for me

My room seemed to have feaces on the door frame of the bathroom. Door didn't look very clean, also looked like someone had patched up a fist through the door.
In my dad's room there was dried blood stains on the bedding.
Staff were ok friendly. My room key didn't work initially and they were quick to sort that out.
The room had a fridge and a Nespresso coffee maker but given the state of the room, I wasnt about to use the coffee machine. No milk sachets or sugar. Wooden spoons with paper cups whic isn't great.
Shower gel and soap were in containers (not small ones). All in all, I don't think I'd want to stay there again.
Room was a decent size, full length mirror and a decent size TV.

The room itself was very clean, however, the area just outside of the the window had some cigarette butts and was generally not clean. Easy check in a check out. Parking was offsite but right next door 30 second walk to the entrance

Hotel was in a great location, great bar, amazing staff however the cleanliness let it down. We stayed for 3 nights, reported both single bed sheets being dirty with yellow stains which were not resolved or changed, we had the same sheets for all 3 days that were dirty.

Stopped off on a cycle trip. Good location, good service and bicycles stored with no fuss. Breakfast ok. Rooms small and showers pretty useless. One of the rooms had a leaky shower and a significant smell problem.

The hotel is located in central Kortrijk. There is a pay to park carpark within a minute's walk. Also within a couple of minutes are the restaurants, bars and shops in the centre of town. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful.

This isn't a high end hotel but it is clean, well run and above functional with a decent bar and a very good breakfast.

It will be my default hotel in the area in future. The hotel staff are the real jewels here.

Ideal for the cycling sportives in the area!

This hotel was chosen for its location to Wevelgem as I was doing a cycling sportive from Wevelgem. The hotel is cycling friendly so it was not problem bringing bikes into the hotel and taking up to your room. Despite some confusion about the type of room which was immediately resoved without any problem (I had requested a twin bed room but was initially given a double) the stay here was perfect for my visit. The only thing you need to be aware of is that there is no on-site parking but there is an underground car park just around the corner but no one really seems to mind you stopping outside the hotel to load or unload for a few minutes. My one small complaint which is very minor is that the bathroom towels feel worn and could do with being replaced.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was as I would expect from this type of hotel which, is basic. Breakfast was varied but not that interesting and bit confusing in where things were. The room was clean. The hotel is most excellent located if you are arriving by train as its only a 5 minute walk from station and the city centre. Its ideal if you are staying a couple of days.

We stopped over for a night during a recent road trip. Our room was excellent size (ask for one with a balcony/view of the square), and superb value. We managed to park for free on the street as we arrived after 7pm and were leaving early the next day. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff too - and a decent little bar! We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Pleasant hotel, suitable as a base for touring

We stayed in this hotel for three days, including two overnight stays. It is a centrally based hotel, which is fairly convenient for the train station. The main part of the town is the other side of an underpass, which requires investigation or access to a map to be found.
We were not offered a rate including breakfast, which would have been helpful.

A quick run down

The place has AC which is most impressive since it's Europe. Downside, there is no lock box in the room, so be careful with your valuables . The breakfast is typical, nothing special. Nothing too impressive or really bad, it's an average run of the mill hotel.

The hotel is a bit hard to find, as it is on a one-way street that goes doesn't intersect the nearest perpendicular street. So I drove around for 30 minutes with my GPS before I figured out how to get to the hotel (more by chance than anything). But once I found it I was very favorably impressed with the hotel and staff. My luggage had been lost and so the proprietor gave me some freebies to get me through the first day. I'd definitely stay here again.

Be careful of terms and conditions

Accidentally made a duplicate booking - check-in staff said they were sure in the circumstances that they could cancel the duplicate as it was clearly a mistake, however the manager decided that it was more important to charge for the duplicate booking than to exercise common sense and to secure repeat business. As a result I will not be staying here again, and I will advise my many colleagues who visit Kortrijk to stay somewhere else.

Good Hotel from which to explore Flanders region.

My wife and I choose the Ibis in Kortrijk without any previous knowledge of the town or the area. We were paying a first visit to our son who is at University in the town. Hotel was just about full because of a dog show in the town bur nonetheless it proved to be a good find. Service was good at all times and staff were very friendly and helpful despite it being so busy.

Be aware that not much goes on in Belgium on a Sunday, shops are not open etc.

The IBIS was centrally located, friendly and helpful staff with check in/out being fast and efficient. Rooms were as you would expect for a mid budget hotel and as always with a IBIS were clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast had a good selection, though it can be busy at peak times.

The staff were friendly and helpful at all times ! The hotel was clean and comfortable! The hotel is situated in excellent location!The room was comfortable but the pillows were the most uncomfortable I had ever experienced in a hotel and felt that this took the edge of our stay as it affected my nights sleep! Had the pillows been a better quality it would have affected my ratings and would have crept up to more or less superb!

Pleasantly surprised by the size of the room which overlooked the square. Quick and efficient staff on reception. One complaint would be that car parking was very difficult to find as travelling by car meant the one way system was a nightmare! There is an underground car park near the hotel once you can find it.
