Hotel advised there was a restaurant but there hasn't been since covid!
I prepaid for the room and then upon check out was asked to pay again. I advised I had already paid and was told I couldn't leave until I paid.
They then realised I had already paid and now want my bank details to get a refund. Why can't they just refund the card?

Good standard hotel accommodation. We stayed two nights on a Northern European family vacation. We had rented a car to visit WWI sites nearby, so this hotel with free parking fit the bill. There is not too much of interest in the immediate area, apart from two good supermarkets right next door. We did not try on-site dining options.

Good overnight stop. Euro-small clean room with great air conditioning. Quiet. Front desk staff friendly and helpful with good English. Did not try the breakfast. Grocery store and fast food across parking lot.

Check in was easy, convenient location. Heat pump in the room was welcome addition. Quality of breakfast was good. Only real concert was the elevator, which did not work well at all, and there was inadequate lighting on the stairs.

This place is a gem, if you need clean comfortable air conditioned accommodation this is the place to go cheap clean and quite. Really easy to get to and staff were really helpful. There’s not much around the area I would recommend the unusual BBQ restaurant 5 minutes walk away

Comfortable and clean rooms (our kids had the ajoining linked room). The mattress was a little firm for me but my husband liked it! (Nice to see the use of a mattress protector).
In the room there is air conditioning, TV and coffee/tea making facilities along with a bottle of water. The shower room may be a little small but it is a walk-in double shower.
Reception staff member was very helpful.
Can't fault the hotel from what we saw and very likely we will choose the same place when we revisit local family.

Great staff and service
I just wanted to thank the incredible staff on premises. I am an American who doesn’t speak much French and I needed a taxi in the morning to take me to a very important business meeting. There were no cars available. The young man at the reception ( I am sorry I didn’t get his name, but it was on December 12, 2018 - I want him to be recognized) , he printed maps for me and showed me how to use the subway to get to my meeting. Thank you!!!!!

J'ai adoré cet hôtel. Le ménage et le personnel étaient exceptionnels. Les serviettes étaient changées et les salles de bain nettoyées tous les jours. L'emplacement est idéal, à proximité de supermarchés et de restaurants. Un séjour formidable ! Je le recommande sans hésiter.

In need of a bit of TLC
Not much variety for breakfast. The restaurant was closed by 21:30. They provide you with small extras like toothbrush etc only if you ask. Facilities are a bit run down. However, beds were comfortable, bed linen was fresh. The room had TV, AC, tea, coffee and kettle. We liked the shower head and water pressure.

Die Betten sind sehr gut. Neue Ausstattung aber leider nicht im Detail gewartet,so dass kleiner Schäden nicht beseitigt werden. Auf Dauer wird dies nicht mehr zu kontrollieren sein.

Dès le lendemain matin 10h, le personnel était pressé que je quitte la chambre alors que j’avais jusqu’à 12h. À 10h une femme de ménage frappe et entre immédiatement dans la chambre sans attendre de réponse et ouvre avec son badge. Elle referme aussitôt quand elle a vu qu’elle était encore occupée. C’était une vraie intrusion que j’ai très mal digéré. Ensuite à 11h un monsieur frappe pour me demander quand est-ce que j’allais partir. Je réponds quand j’aurais fini de préparer mes affaire. Je sors à 11h45 il était devant la porte à attendre que je parte. Je n’ai jamais vu ça, je me suis senti mis à la porte. J’ai l’habitude de venir ici quand je vais à Lille, je n’y remettrai plus les pieds

J'avoue avoir été déçu par le niveau de prestation de l'établissement. Les lieux sont vieillissant et pas très propres (moquettes abimées et mauvaises odeurs). Bien que soit précisé l'interdiction de fumer dans les chambres, j'ai été accueilli par une odeur très présente de cigarettes. Ce n'est qu'au bout de 3 jours et après avoir aérer la chambre moi-même que l'odeur s'est estompée. Par contre, celle de la canalisation mal entretenue dans la salle d'eau est restée. Dommage car le personnel est très accueillant et chaleureux.
