I paid for two rooms in advance with Hotels.com and the hotel took two additional payments from my credit card instead of taking deposit swipes. They are now refusing to refund the unauthorised payments they have taken. I’d suggest people avoid this place.

Biggest let down the hotel was the restaurant, slow poor service, made to reuse cutlery between courses and breakfast was a joke hardly any food was laid out and the staff were obvious about their guests are hungry!
Being served sour beer when they knew the keg was gone!

- 1 - @ 5.30am - We have been waken up by two mens which entered our room. They were as surprised as us to see that they have been given access to the same room. This is not acceptable as we were travelling as a family and booked this hotel to have some proper rest. Also when raising this issue with the reception, they just said that they were going to report but didn't recorded it in front of us.

2/ I also asked for a printed invoice but couldn't get it as their printer was not working.

We arrived late and there was 24 hour reception which after a long drive was fantastic and we were well looked after. The rooms were lovely, clean and we slept like babies! We were only there en route, but the outside pool looked lovely and there was also a gym. Good security overnight with an electric gate closing so we felt our car was safer.

On arrival we weren't sure if the hotel was actually open, it looked somewhat deserted. It was however open and in the middle of some renovations. We checked in but discovered we had been given the wrong room, so returned to reception, where our room was then changed. Disappointed to find out pool was closed and only found out on asking. Quite a large hotel just off the motorway. We could not use the restaurant due it being Sunday night and staff levels were low, we did eat at the hotel from a small menu and this was fine. Staff are helpful and polite but once at the hotel you are there. Not much around it but fine for one night.

We were a quick overnight stay on a road trip through Europe. The front desk staff were very nice and professional. There was something wrong with the card scanner to make us a key so instead had to go and open the door for us every time. The first room they gave us was in a state of disrepair (the bed literally broke when I sat on it) but the second was nice. The pool was nice, but cold. Overall a nice place for a quick trip.

Pros: Friendly staff, good gym and sauna and good price.
Cons: Leaking loo, broken kettle, bed with a couple of broken slats - all fixed promptly.
There was no safe, the carpet was old, the fridge was a bit dirty, it was also dirty behind furniture. The pool was cold and a bit dirty. The location was isolated and next to a building site - you need a car. There were no maps, etc. In need of refurbishment!!

We chose this hotel because it was convenient for visiting the battlefields and Tyne Cot. Very good restaurant - decor modern, food good and fairly well priced. We couldn't use the restaurant on our 2nd night as there was a wedding, so facilities were out of bounds! Only place within walking distance was fully booked, so we ended up at the supermarket and having a picnic in our room! Breakfast c/o supermarket! Ate early away from the hotel on our 3rd night and skipped breakfast. The hotel lost income from us. It was too cold to use the outdoor pool (no changing area), and we couldn't find the gym. Decor in bedroom was very tired and in places grubby. No air con, so was extremely hot at night, especially with the non-stop noise from the nearby dual carriageway forcing us to close the window. On the map, the hotel looks further away than it is. I've learned my lesson - check locations on Google Earth before booking! When we left, we were charged for the breakfasts we didn't have; receptionist disgruntled when I insisted on a new bill. Otherwise reception staff helpful.

WE WENT THERE SO THE KIDS COULD USE THE POOL...IT WAS UNUSUABLE AND IN COMPLETE DISARRAY...THE OTHER WAS THE CHARE FOR THE ROOMS WE WERE CHARGED 300 EURO PER ROOM..THE ADVERTISEMENT AT THE FRONT DESK WAS $119 EURO...SO A LITTLE OVERCHARGED??

what a disaster , i have known that hotel in the Novotel days and is was good , then it was taken over by new people and after one visit i stopped going there , now i know that there is a new owner and gave it a chance again , it will be the last try . I go there because of the situation directly on the last exit on the motorway in France , easy to find for foreign people meeting there , i normal rent two or three rooms for business relations . The girl on the reception was not friendly at all , even not say hello , but \" do you have a reservation ??\" . Bad , except the lady in the restaurant who is there already a long time and who is very friendly , no service at all . Probably the baddest food in France , i hope that this letter will wake them up , sorry , but my impression was that this will close soon .

OK for price paid but don't expect much.

We have stayed at this hotel before and things have marginally improved from last year. The impression I get of the hotel is that it peaked long ago and is in need of a good refurbishment.
Our room was OK but that's about it .The flotex carpet was heavily stained and the furnishings chipped .The walls had some non descript sticky substance on them which to be honest looked as if someone had sneezed on it ( not pleasant).The toilet was depressing to enter ,the seat was stained as was the bowl and it leaked .To make matters worse you had to go to the bathroom next door to wash your hands. The toilet door handle really didn't look as if it had been cleaned for a long while.
The room was a good size but wasn't very clean .My wife found hairs in the bed and dirt in locations that hadn't been cleaned properly.
The staff are pleasant but there didn't appear to be many of them .One evening we waited in the bar for over 25 minutes before walking out as there was no one to serve us. We never got the correct amount of tea ,coffee or towels for that matter in the room and why they supply plastic cups is beyond me.
I was surprised at the price of the drinks .7 euro for 50cl of beer is steep in any book .
Over all ,you get what you pay for, so if your expectations are not to high then this is a great stop over for the night but for long term I would look else where.

oui vraiment négligée, la douche était bouchée . Il y avait une fuite au niveau du joint de la douche, ce qui inondait la salle de bain. je vais joindre des vidéos
sur les 2 jours de présence, nous avons fait réactiver nos cartes 4 fois

Les chambres manquent de lumière, et les murs sombres accentuent l’impression d’obscurité. Il n’y a pas de véritable source de lumière, les lampes présentes ne suffisent pas, ce qui rend la chambre sombre. Dans les toilettes, il est impossible de se laver les mains après usage car il n’y a pas de lavabo. Il serait préférable de combiner les toilettes et la salle de bain en une seule pièce.
C’est dommage qu’il n’y ait nulle part de bouilloire pour faire chauffer de l’eau pour le thé.

Le choix de nourriture au petit-déjeuner est très limité. On trouve surtout des plats sucrés, mais il manque des options salées. Les seuls disponibles sont des œufs durs froids. Il n’y a pas de légumes comme des tomates, des concombres ou des poivrons. Tout le monde n’aime pas manger sucré le matin.

Au départ, un accueil très correct, mais au retour de notre soirée à 2h du matin ,barrière fermée et personne ne répond à l’interphone, 15 minutes à attendre devant la grille avant d’avoir une réponse.. on s’aperçoit que le hall d’entrée est très accueillant mais en fouillant un peu on s’aperçoit que les rénovations ne sont que de surface.. 10 personnes dans l’hôtel et le buffet de petit déjeuner est dans un état lamentable et nous n’avons vu personne s’en occuper ou débarrasser les tables, les trois quarts des fruits pourris ,la plupart des verres et tasses ne sont pas propres au point qu ils collent sur le meuble dans lequel ils sont rangés ,une chaleur incroyable dans la salle de restauration et un problème aussi avec eau chaude eau froide au robinet et à la douche de la chambre.. Bref, nous sommes loin de la gestion et du standing habituel des Ibis Style

Bonne literie c’est essentiel !! Accueil pro souriant et accueillant au Check—in comme au Check-ouf. Chambre spacieuse,
oreillers trop mous donc inutiles sauf à se faire mal au cou, la bouilloire mériterait d’etre remplacée par une Nespresso ou une Senseo dans les chambres.
Café Folliet pas top en stick en chambre comme au petit déjeuner, salade de fruit pas faite maison donc inutile et sans saveur. Extérieurs de l’hotel un peu laissé à « l’abdandon » pas digne d’in 4 étoiles.

Puisis recepcijā bija ļoti jauks un laipns, bet angliski nesaprata, prasījām numuru ēnas pusē un ar skatu uz baseinu, bet iedeva saulainu un ar skatu uz auto stāvlaukumu. Viesnīca bija patukša, tādēļ izdevās numuru samainīt, bet ar grūtībām saprata mūsu vēlmes. Nemājīgs un slikti uzkopts numuriņš. kondicionieris nestrādā, kaut āra temperatūra bija pāri 30. Āra baseins bija slēgts. Restorāns ļoti dārgs. Logus var atvērt tikai ar mazu spraudziņu.
Vienīgais labums, ka slēgta un droša teritorija.
Neraksturīgi viesnīcām, ka numurā dalītas sanitārās telpas (tualete atsevišķi).

Rdv professionnel sur Neuville. Hôtel en sortie d autoroute facile d accès, au calme.
Dote d un restaurant (correct, rien à dire ni dans un sens , ni dans l autre) , c est toujours agréable car sinon il faut reprendre la voiture
Chambre standard, type de celles qu on peut voir dans des chaînes d hôtels. Confortable , pas de problème de propreté.
En bref une bonne halte pour une nuit
Je testerai la prochaine fois le sauna qui a l air correct (mais il faut l allumer avant utilisation donc il faut anticiper)

ACCEPTABLE MAIS PEUT MIEUX FAIRE........

A part le problème de la piscine inutilisable en plein Juillet/Aout, l'Hotel est convenable.
Cependant, avec un \"rafraichissement\", (salle de bain, toilette, mobiliers, etc...et peinture Int/Ext cela pourrait-être un Hotel TOP DU TOP ! )
