It was a quiet hotel you would need a car or uber to get around but close to the centre and good place to explore Lille. The cost was very good, the room was spacious with a large bed and we had a nice view.

Nice hotel located in a peaceful suburban area. The classic superior room was clean and spacious but the bathroom does not have the range of toiletries that are available at most 4 star hotels. Staff, especially at reception, are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves a good but breakfast but limited in variety. Evening meals are good and varied. Restaurant staff are friendly, but tend to seat all customers within a confined area of the otherwise spacious restaurant.

Stayed at this hotel as an overnight stop off before getting the EuroTunnel home.
We weren’t expecting much, but it was actually very comfortable.
The staff greeted us with professionalism and warmth and spoke English.
The room was clean, bed comfortable and the bathroom spacious.
We were even able to see our camper van park in the secure car park from our room.
Of course, it’s very much a corporate hotel, so there was no ‘charisma’ to the decor, however this was to be expected.
Peaceful night’s sleep was had all round!

Last stop on a lovely touring trip

Final stop over on our trip to France. Check in satisfactory. Bedroom large, bed comfortable. Room much too hot, air conditioning didn't appear to be working properly. Shower over bath was good but water didn't drain leaving you standing in inches of water.

We used \"express check out\" as we had an early departure, but received an emailed invoice charged to my credit card for breakfast (which we take). Interesting that this was sent to us just after midnight on the day of arrival - not even had time to take breakfast - not impressed. Still awaiting for this cost to be refunded Mercure advise they cannot refund to credit card and have requested my bank details to do so, for security reasons I haven't forwarded them and really the payment should be refund in exactly the same way it was paid. I have not raised a dispute with my credit card company

Nice makeover!

Hotel appears to have had a recent upgrade / makeover since we last stayed. Rooms now look fresh and modern with enormous beds. Friendly efficient staff.
Good base for visiting Lille as tram runs to the centre from right outside the Hotel, but it's far enough away from the noise and bustle of the city.

A modern hotel with large, comfortable bedrooms, a good restaurant and plenty of parking spaces. The accommodation was clean and the staff were very helpful. The only drawback was the difficulty finding and accessing the hotel by car.

A long weekend to visit Christmas markets. Hotel was in the processes of having the reception refurbished so a slight building site. Bedrooms are spacious and the bed was large and very comfortable! Room had a large shower and all the facilities we needed ( minibar and kettle) TV channels were not UK friendly (BBC World and CNN only). Good base point to visit other cities but also easy access to the town centre

room was roomy and nice, staff friendly and accommodating, nice meal in the restaurant. I didnt have a chance to try breakfast. only annoyance is not theirs, getting back on the freeway takes several turns and about 5 minutes ... strange routing of roadway with the train.

Was a nice enough stay but we were positioned two floors below a major renovation. We were just staying at the hotel as a recovery from long travels before we set off on the road into Europe; but unfortunately we were positioned two floors below a renovation site with ongoing hammering throughout the day and into the evening, which then started again at 8am the next morning. Not the best night sleep

Very good value hotel in an ideal spot for touring the World War 1 battlefields with it being so close to the motorways. Close to the tram station for access to Lille centre too. Staff in the restaurant at breakfast were super friendly while desk staff were less so.

Good convenient hotel

We used the hotel during a visit to Flanders field sites, whilst outside Belgium this was convenient due to being so close to major roads. Reception was efficient though better in the morning rather than on check in the night before. Would wholly recommend the express breakfast rather than paying the full €18. Good quality food.

We had a standard room and it was really spacious, including the bathroom which was much larger than English equivalents. Kingsize bed and a duvet like a cloud, very comfy!! Extra bed for our daughter was much harder, but this didn't stop a good nights sleep, even with the extra bed there was still space for the table and chairs and we weren't tight for room. Some decor a bit tired but I am being fussy raising this.

Really recommend this hotel to people staying in the area.

Convenient, modern hotel

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Lille, but within 15 min of city center via the nearby tram stop. Particularly convenient because of ample free parking, which is not the case with the city center locations. For anyone driving in, this location makes sense. Hotel is very modern and is located in an office park with green surroundings, and adjacent to a scenic canal with a hike and bike trail. Access to a major connecting highway is within minutes.

Great Location

A great hotel, in a peaceful area within a short drive or tram ride to Lille, but easy to find off the main road. The rooms were well appointed with all mod cons, very clean and our room looked out onto trees at the back so all we could hear was birdsong. Traveled into Lille by tram which stops outside (TIP: remember to buy tickets and validate before boarding). Lille is easy to navigate and quite picturesque. Car parking was free at the Hotel, although this time I was on my motorbike!

We recommend this hotel highly.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The spacious room had all the facilities that we needed. It was quiet at night and the bed was particularly comfortable. Although the hotel was conveniently close to the main road into Lille, it was well shielded by a collection of very attractive mature trees.

Expensive and misses on a few details.

I have visited this hotel for forty years and I have experienced it under many flags. There is definitely an improvement over past brands.
The attitude of the staff is definitely improved. The location is great, and the infrastructure is OK.
The gym is small but adequate. The coffee machines do not work. The breakfast is expensive but there is a cheaper continental alternative. Wifi is free which is a relief but you need to login every few hours.
In all this hotel delivers a fairly solid experience, but the price is quite outrageous depending on the day. Weekends are Euro 124 which is fine, but Mondays are Euro 250 which really really is not worth it.

Great hotel for a short break in Lille

We had a great two night stay at this hotel, everything about was great, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, etc. Perfectly situated to catch the tram (every 15 minutes mostly) into Lille from the \"station\" opposite the hotel. And you could purchase your tickets from hotel reception, so you didn't have to keep forking out cash for the tickets. Just one little niggle - the handle on the wall of the bath was loose and should have been fixed before the next guests. It didn't actually fall off, but it was coming loose from the wall.

Didn't much like the hotel computer for guest use. The keyboard was a fixed console, so it was use the touchpad or not use it at all. Very difficult to use and I gave up!

Apart from that, a really enjoyable stay and we would stay there again.

Great hotel for a city break

This hotel is very quiet and comfortable. Although it is just outside the city centre it has a tram stop over the road from the hotel, and you can travel all day, on the tram, metro and bus for 4.10 Euros. Take the T tram and get off at Cerisaie.

How a hotel should be!

Spent 2 nights here for a wedding. Room was clean and a good size as well as the bathroom. Asked for a smoking room when booking but called the reception desk to confirm. They confirmed this was fine! Next thing - one of the staff knocked on the door to provide some matches - we didn't even ask.

They had an internet computer downstairs for free use and a printer attached. It had a printer attached which was also free to use. Very useful for printing off boarding passes!

Breakfast was very good if not a bit expensive (we didn't include this in our booking). Good selection and tasted great. Your standard continental buffet breakfast.

There was a sauna and gym on the ground floor that was unmanned and free for use 24/7.

All in all - very much enjoyed the stay and would definitely return if heading back that way again!

Peace and comfort in the suburbs!!

This is a business hotel on the outskirts of Lille. Tram stop right outside hotel. Large free car park to leave one`s car. It is approx 15 mins into centre of Lille.
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are very good. Usual continental, plenty of fresh fruit salads, pancakes, waffles, cakes, breads etc. Also bacon, sausage and eggs cooked at your request. The restaurant is closed at weekends.
We choose this hotel as my daughter lives in this area. (It is our second visit to this hotel)
Had a superior room last time and standard on this occasion. Overlooking the gardens at the back, very peaceful.

not far out of town at all, tram takes you direct from across the road to the centre of lille in about 15 mins. sauna facilities were good. Staff went out of their way to help us every time we asked. Beds were so comfortable, and room well kept. I would definately recommend staying here.

Lovely business hotel, but not close to Lille centre

The hotel is in Marcq-en-Baroeul, a small town north of the centre of Lille. It is a very pretty area, and you have good access by tram. The hotel was first rate: quite elegant and really lovely rooms. The down side was I was not as close to Lille as I would have liked. But it was a nice place and I would stay there again.

You'll need a good pair of eyes or a sense of deja-vu to help you spot this hotel, if you're driving there. Even with a sat nav we spent nearly an hour trying to find this hotel as the address is not number specific and the road is very long!
The hotel itself is nothing special, the service, room and restaurant were as expected from a 4 star hotel but it didn't push any of my buttons. Aside from that, this area of Lille is like a barren suburb of a city which we didn't even bother sightseeing in and instead were thankful when the sat nav said that Bruges was only an hour away - so we quickly sped off in search of more beautiful surroundings and a decent meal!!

This hotel is more for buisness people than holidaymakers. It is a long way from Lille city centre although the tram stop is just outside the grounds it takes approx 20 minutes (11 stops ). We had not booked breakfast but on arrival we were given what we thought were vouchers. On our departure we were charged 19 euros each for a breakfast. There are no shops or cafes anywhere near the hotel and no tea or coffee making facilities so what you are supposed to have for breakfast is a mystery. We would not return or advise anyone to go.Also the prices in the bar and restaurant are extortionate.

Bon choix pour nôtre WE Braderie

Tout était quasiment parfait. En weekend et déplacement à l'occasion de la Braderie nous avons vraiment apprécié la commodité des déplacements en tramway à proximité et le fait de retrouver un environnement verdoyant et surtout calme après le tumulte de la ville. Chambre spacieuse et propre, parking à proximité, petit déjeuner très varié et correct et personnel très agréable. Juste petit bémol pour le restaurant où nous sommes allés tous les soirs... nous aurions aimé plus de choix dans les menus et la carte...

Het hotel is oud, niet meer actueel, behalve de prijzen. Door de zuidelijke locatie van de kamer en de warme zomerdag was het enorm warm op de kamer. Je zou verwachten dat een 4 sterren hotel in 2025 toch airconditioning heeft, maar neen. Ik maakte hier opmerking over bij de receptie maar werd niet gecompenseerd op geen enkele manier. Het eten in het restaurant was goed, dat mag wel gezegd zijn. Maar hier kom ik zeker niet terug.

Le meilleur mercure de la métropole Lilloise !

Un mercure hôtel agréable.
Le personnel est toujours très sympathique, accueillant et serviable.
J’y séjourne régulièrement depuis quatre années et je n’ai jamais de reproche à faire.
Le rapport qualité prix est très bon.
Les chambres sont très confortables.
Le petit déjeuner et relativement bien garni.
Idéal pour des séjours professionnels ou de longs week-ends.

Le parking est très grand,
Le restaurant en extérieur est sympa pour boire un verre ou dîner surtout lorsque nous ne voulons pas sortir de l’hôtel.
Parfait pour bosser.

En revanche le restaurant est selon moi à éviter pour réellement bien manger.
Lors des week-ends en famille ou en couple par exemple.
Privilégier des restaurants de la métropole plus qualitatifs avec des prix similaires.

Selon moi le meilleur des quatres mercure de la métropole !

Hotel am Stadtrand mit guter Anbindung

Großes Hotel am Stadtrand, große Zimmer, kostenlose Parkplätze, super um Lille mit dem Auto oder auch dem ÖPNV zu erkunden. Frühstück war gut und ausreichend, die Orangensaftmaschine (frisch gepresst sehr lecker) war leider nur am Sonntag aktiv.

De la poussière sur le dessus des lampes du miroir dans la salle de bain. De la poussière derrière le canapé lit avec un paquet de mouchoir ouvert et entamé.
Manque un petit coup d'aspirateur pour être au top. Le lit du canapé lit est pas super confortable. J'ai un matelas de haute qualité et hyper confortable au domicile. J'ai pas super bien dormi.
Le lit deux places était hyper confortable et de haute qualité. Pas sûr que je reprenne cette configuration de chambre.

Hotel calme et très bon accueil. Mais hotel qui veut se donner un statut qu'il n'a pas. Petit déjeuner compliqué : aucune cohérence dans l'agencement : au café il n'y a pas de tasse ou sucre, au niveau pain/croissant il n'y a pas d'assiette, au jus d'orange les autres saveurs sont derrière, inaccessibles pour un enfant. Le beurre n'est pas au même endroit que la confiture. Compliqué !
Sinon l'hotel paraît bien, mais les chambres sont quelconques, pas de frigo, pas de lotion.
Déçu, surtout à ce tarif. Pas un mauvais hotel, mais pas au niveau.

Hotel parfait ! Personnel très accueillant. Chambre parfaite et de grande taille. Climatisation très silencieuse. Restaurant délicieux et peu cher. Petit déjeuner express possible (9 euros/p). Parking gratuit. Salles de séminaires dans l'hotel. Tram juste à côté de l'hotel pour aller au centre de Lille. Hotel à recommander ! Le meilleur Hotel Mercure dans notre expérience, et de loin...

Pas digne d'un grand hôtel

Déjà échaudé en décembre 2022 car le chauffage n'avait pas été activé dans la chambre pour mon arrivée et que je ne m'en étais rendu compte que le lendemain matin au réveil... après avoir pris froid. Cette semaine de Juin2023, il faut faire sans climatisation! L'air ambiant est brassé par la clim... impossible de dormir quand il fait chaud et que la ventilation est bruyante! Bref, nullissime. Comment l'hôtel peut ne pas être au courant de la situation? Le matériel est aujourd'hui vétuste. Dire que certains de mes collègues n'ont pas été gênés par la chaleur dans leur chambre... Pour finir, la propreté de la vaisselle laisse à désirer: méfiez-vous des traces sur les verres et dans les bols. Je reste surpris par ce relâchement.

Propre , chambre impeccable
Le cireur a chaussures du rdc est en panne.
Pas de cohérence entre la taxe de sejour facturée a l’hôtel et celle facturées en ligne ???
Ce n’est pas au voient a gerer cela qyand il paye 160€ la nuit … tout n’est donc pas parfait

La regadera no funcionaba, el
Agua se calentaba porque el empaque de la llave estaba roto.

Pero todo lo demás estaba muy bien, camas cómodas, buena atención.

Goed hotel, prijzig.
Nette bediening, prima restaurant en ontbijt.
Kreeg niet de gewenste kamer en verdieping. Onmogelijk om kamer te wisselen, duidelijk te veel moeite dat was erg jammer.
