Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut einfach aber abwechslungsreich.
Das Team ist aufmerksam Schnellbüffet herzlich
Tolles Zimmer / Dusche / Aussicht / Strand Meersicht.
Der Pool hat eine schöne Grösse, was wir ausgiebig genutzt haben , da das Meer eher wild war.
Nachts sehr unruhig wegen der Strasse. Moschee
Den Hund würde ich weggeben… er ist zu aggressiv- er bekommt zu wenig Aufmerksamkeit von den Hotelbesitzern.

Too short stay!

The staff went out of their way to make our trip delightful. They were always friendly and smiling. Helped out where they could to their utmost ability. Our rooms were cleaned every day and were immaculate. The food is really good quality and a fair choice range. The outside is clean and cared after. All in all a very good relaxing trip with good service that made it so much more enjoyable. Wish I could have stay longer and would definitely come back. Well done staff!

Couldn’t fault thus place - we had s room with a secluded private pool

Great location for the bar and restaurant right in the beach - we atr there every night. Staff were fun and a real beerpong table

Like s lot of the places around it the place is a bit dated and needs s cost of paint but other than that it’s fine.

Location is a bit out of town along the busy main road but the is a route along the beach as well

One night stay at Sunset House in the garden view room across the road from the main hotel. Clean large room but perhaps a little characterless. Nice garden but slightly inconvenient to be not on the main complex. Lovely pool but beach is not overly inspiring and many touts in the morning trying to sell their wares.

It was a great stay at Sunsethouse Hotel, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we only stayed a night and unable to enjoy the sea view and the facilities. I definitely will recommend this hotel to my friends who are planning travel to Lombok in future. Thanks for the great service.

Comfortable, Great Service

We popped in for just one night before heading on our Rinjani trek. The service was impeccable and they were willing to hold our luggage even though we checked in a few hours early, they gave us two separate welcoming drinks, and packed us breakfast boxes with toast & jam, a boiled egg, heaps of fresh fruit since we were leaving at 5AM for the trek and would miss the included breakfast. The 'standard' rooms are in a compound across from the main building but that didn't bother us. The room was average, comfortable bed. Quiet. Wifi was a disaster though - but we went a few blocks down to a cafe during the afternoon and were able to get consistent wifi there. We didn't get a chance to really enjoy Senggigi beach but it was very close from our fast boat's (Mahi-Mahi) drop off point, just a 10-min drive.

The hotel is in a good location right on the beach with a lovely pool. Beach bars/restaurants are close by on either side of the hotel.
We stayed in a garden view room which was very clean and spacious with a nice view from the balcony.

We chose the standard room and we don't realize that the room is on the other side of the road, so whenever we need to go to reception or restaurant or pool, we have to cross the road with busy traffic. The bed is of poor condition and there is sound when u turn your body in the middle of the night. Also, the bed sheer is smelly. The staff didn't refill the tissue paper, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner when they make up the room. Also they only give one towel which we have to call and ask for an additional one.

The good point is The staff is friendly.

Current reconstruction work!!!

I would like to make people aware that they are currently reconstructing the restaurant at the hotel, which they should be informing people of prior to booking. I was hoping for a quiet peaceful week here and instead I am in the middle of a building site all day and into most of the evenings!! There isn't anywhere within the hotel to go and escape from this. As I booked 6 nights here I am quite disappointed.
However the staff and facilities generally at the hotel are very good, and the pool is beautiful, looking out onto the beach.

The hotel is old. The room where we stayed was having a bad smell, even we asked for air refresher when we arrived.
The room was large, but their sofa seems a quite broken.
Their bath room was great! I think they have renovated it, all the equipments were like new (compare to the bedroom).

Overall it was great, but need to be further improved to be better. The staff is friendly and always smile. The bad is lack of service provided. When I requested for motorbike rental, they asked me to walk outside and rent myself, I feel that they can help us renting the motorbike. While I have booked deluxe pool access, room is clean and well design but the sofa is a little bit old. For the private pool, I like it, but I feel that the staff should always clean away the leaf on the water and also the seat beside the private pool is dirty and old, I suggest that remove it and change a new one. The outside pool is also great, but a little bit high.

Sunset House lives up to its name... A very nice hotel set amid beautiful gardens with stunning sunset views and easy access to the beach. Sitting under one of the hotel palapas after a short tropical downpour at the end of a long day of sightseeing, while sipping a cold Bintang and watching a gorgeous sunset will be one of my favourite memories of Indonesia. A few beachfront restaurants are close by, with lots of other shopping and dining options down the road in the centre of Sengiggi. I'd definitely stay at Sunset House again, and recommend it to others. The breakfast buffet was excellent too!

Arrived at the hotel a little late, was issued a free arrival drink voucher however when we went to use the voucher it was limited to two drinks (non fresh fruit juice or grenadine). The room was clean however fell short of expectations especially given it was a reasonable priced hotel for Indonesian standards. Staff were pleasant but nothing special, bed was comfortable but very noisy, there are also a large development right next door to the hotel which was noisy. Location was lovely, but overall a disappointing romantic getaway. Search elsewhere.

Lovely hotel with great balcony and sea view from our room. Friendly staff, very welcoming. Several cabanas around the grounds along with sun beds by the large pool. Buffet breakfast was lovely, and you can also have eggs and pancakes cooked to your liking. We enjoyed our time at Sunset House and would definitely stay there again when visiting Sengiggi.

we were told by reception staff that we could request for our welcome drink to be sent to our room as it was already very late when we arrived, but when we called 111 to request, we were so disappointed. the staff insisted that we come to the restaurant to have the welcome drink.

We were told we could not have our room until after 2pm as current guests wanted late checkout. no problem, as we were told we could have 1 complimentary drink at their restaurant. Get to \"restaurant\" to be told that complimentary drink was water only. Ok. So we buy a beer (it was warm) we asked if they could put some drinks in the freezer, answer was no. This is how they come. No offer of alternatives. Then another guest turns up, obviously their \"preferred\" type of guest. They were shown straight to their rooms. Humbug from hawkers on the beach was relentless. Did not matter if we were eating dinner/breakfast we were still harassed. We did not feel comfortable at all!!

An average nice stay at Sunsethouse Lombok

Sunsethouse in Lombok was, in average, a good hotel. Breakfast was really good and the hotel facilities too. The one thing I can say is that, once you give your first step in Sengiggi beach from the hotel, a lot of locals approach you trying to sell stuff to you and that makes the beach not enjoyable at all. Also, it is walking distance from several restaurants and a little commercial area but those blocks are SO dark and full of locals that talk to you and try to get your attention for you to buy things that it made it impossible to get there without being annoyed. Finally, the nicest beaches in Lombok are VERY far, 2 hour drive away and going through very poor and lonely ways that make it really hard to take advantage of a day at the beach.

It's right at the beach, and the standard room is right across the street, which is no problem at all. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, buffet breakfast is scrumptious with pancakes and omelettes available fresh cook upon request. Convenient store is less than 100m away, nice bar and pizza places nearby too! Perfect place to see beautiful sunset accompanied by sound of strong waves, for peace and quiet.

PS: beware of service providers (tour bookers, taxis) outside of hotel though. They're loitering and offer ridiculous prices. Overpaid 5x for the services I rendered (found out later with a different service provider as comparison). Lesson learned at no fault of sunsethouse at all.

Big room with beautiful sea view, right on the beach. Not exactly quite because the sea was rather rough during our stay and the waves made lots of noise. Nice pool and nice garden. The restaurant is good but not too special. The WiFi doesn't function well, you have to log in over and over, and internet is slow. All together the setting is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the place is not crowded with tourists.

Very much enjoyed our stay here. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the gardens. It was spacious and comfortable. We did occasionally hear traffic noise as our room was the closest to the road but it certainly did not detract from our enjoyment. The hotel is located on the beach front and you could swim from the beach although there was a steep incline, personally we made use of the pool which we found excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful and would arrange tours for you if you wished. Senggigi was about a 20 minutes walk but not alot there. Breakfast was the usual Indonesian choice and you helped yourself to fruit, coffee etc. We would certainly stay there again.

We came to Lombok because the Bali Airport was closed due to volcanic eruptions. Lombok
was still open, and we booked Sunset House hoping for the best. The staff is helpful and friendly,
and the breakfast buffet is large and delicious with good coffee. The sunset view is great, and
the pool has almost no chlorine by afternoon, making it ideal.

The staff failed to wake us at 6:30 AM for a snorkeling adventure, with the result we didn't go —
in my opinion it's necessary to go in the very early AM for good visibility. That was the only
evidence of unprofessionalism we encountered.

Good hotel, very reasonably priced. Stayed in Garden rooms overlooking the garden and a small pool (bigger one is just a few metres away overlooking the beach). Staff very friendly, and there are a few restaurants and a nice cafe near by (Temptations) that were great.
Only nuisance - which is not really fault of the hotel - is the sellers on the beach hassling you. We didnt mind being asked once or twice but some would ask several times and was a little frustrating but doesnt take away from the hotel at all would stay there again.

Fantastic hotel. Large, very clean rooms with a huge bathroom. Cleaned immaculately everyday. Great breakfast served until 11am!! Superior/Delux rooms the best with amazing ocean views. Hotel within 15 minute walking distance of the main Sengiggi area with plenty of shops/eateries.

Enjoyed this lovely hotel on a beautiful beach with a pool overlooking this beach Also a nice restaurant on premises. Friendly and welcoming staff and beautiful grounds. Only drawback and only a slight one, is if you elect to take the \"standard\" rooms, you must cross a busy street to get to the main grounds, pool, etc. If you can, I recommend booking the nicer rooms on the beach side.

Great stop over - I would have stayed longer.

Two things I would have liked to change. First, I would have liked to stay here a few more days and second I would have liked a room near the pool. We stayed in the building across the road. It was a good clean room but nothing more than that - no complaints. I think the stay would have been a little more enjoyable had we stayed in a room facing the pool. The pool was fantastic and the ocean great to swim in. Senggigi i believe is very underrated. The coast line offers fantastic swimming and a quieter atmosphere than Bali, but with a good variety of amenities.

Had a really great stay at the sunset the staff was amazing and really friendly the room was super comfortable and clean. In fact we stayed one night and than switched to a room closer to all the bars and restaurant which was only slightly cheaper and ended up back at the sunset the next day because the new room was absolutely horrible. Splendid place! Calm and Serene.

It was a pleasant stay. Our room (Heliconia room) looks over the pool, but at the same time to the beach as well. It has a spacious terrace for you to enjoy the sunset.
Room is big with clean and big bathroom. People working in the hotel are friendly and greet you sincerely.
The gazebos at the pathway/garden are set up comfortably for you to enjoy the scenery. It's not a big hotel, so not much noise.
It takes 5 minutes by motorbike/car to the central of Sengigi town, where local restaurants thrive. It's the only minus thing if you prefer to just walk to the town for food.

Amazing Pillows

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. /what an amazing location right on the beach. The staff were beautiful and so friendly and helpul.The pillows were so comfortable I tried to buy one! I cannot say enough good things about this place. the food was fantastic, the rooms were spacious. I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Satisfying small family vacation

I came with my wife and son and stayed in sunsethouse for 3 days and 2 nights. Overall I'm satisfied with the hotel and the room and would like to come back again sometime. My room is Jasmine 1 and I'm very happy with it. Its on the first floor right in front of the pool and looking to the sea. The distance to the pool and sea is only few steps away so this is very convenient. The room itself felt homey, with a nice reading chair with a reading lamp. The bathroom is so spacious. The staff were friendly and quick to response, as I had tv set problem. The location is also in proximity to center of the crowd in Senggigi, so no complaint on that. Few things that rather troubling is mosquito and HBO. Mosquito with some of them got into the room and disturbs sleep with their noise. This could be fix with installing variety of mosquito repellent. While HBO only worked in the first day. They said that's all I get (?) Otherwise all is nice. Thanks Sunsethouse.

Good for transit to Gilis

The room was comfortable enough. Good aircon, good beds, bathroom was fine, but a bit of mildew around.
The adjoining room was very loud as we shared a wall. If i was stsying more than a night id ask to be moved. Great pool. The beach is just average. Patchy wifi.

A little noisy but nice

Our upstairs room on Ocean side of street had a great view , comfy beds and good aircon. It was close to the upstairs level of cafe so a little loud 1 night when travelers were having a little party. We are from a rural town, so found the traffic noise too much for a good nights sleep. Staff were very polite and helpful. Nice pool area too. All in all if you don't mind traffic noise, it is reasonable value walking distance to central Senggigi

right on beach, Anna in charge of services and restaurant,very good, she organised flights and boat transfers ,no problem, Lisa on front desk ,also most helpfull, all staff very friendly and respectful. great pool ,good food ,well priced ,awesome sunset over mt agung on bali from here. will stay here again .

Great stay, super staff!

I took my kids (8 & 10) to Lombok and had a great stay at Sunset House. It's not super lush, and there aren't \"amenities\" so to speak, but the room was comfortable, clean, and with an ocean view. The staff couldn't do enough for us! They all knew our names by the second day, and were helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early, they had the roll away bed brought up promptly, let us have the room for late check out (for a fee), and were there and helpful for anything we needed. The kids loved roaming the grounds, hanging out in the \"huts\", going down to the beach, and just hanging out on the balcony with the sea breezes blowing in. The food was lovely and fresh, and there was a good mix of \"local\" and \"western\" fare on offer (with fabulous milkshakes and fresh fruit juices!) We booked a couple of day trips to go snorkelling with a \"local\" and had great experiences. The sellers on the beach can be a bit tiring, but hey, they're there to make a living! (we did end up with some beautiful local wares, for a fraction of the cost at stores on the \"strip\" or in the airport!) Overall, a great trip, and a fabulous experience. Recommend for those who don't want a backpackers experience, but don't need a resort experience. A really great trip!
