The Pros - staff was very friendly, helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to help. From our arrival to check out the staff were absolutely amazing espically one of the waiter ( Jian ). The pool and surrounding was well kept and clean. , it was very private and relaxing. The bedrooms were a bit dated but it serve the purpose .
The Cons - Beach!!! Very disappointed.

Our stay was absolutely awesome! Every little detail was perfect. As someone who works in the hospitality industry overseas and has traveled the world—staying at top-tier hotels across the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia—I can honestly say this property is exceptional.
I am almost speechless at the level of service. I had the pleasure of thanking many of them in person, but I want to reiterate: every single staff member, from the Executive Chef and the server/room service team to the gardeners and floor staff, defines what true hospitality looks like. I have never seen such a genuine combination of hard work and authentic care. I would gladly fly thousands of miles just to experience this place again. It was a beautiful moment I’ll never forget. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The family loved the swimming pool which was nice, clean and not crowded. I love the TV in the suite which has internet access. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and they made us felt very welcomed and at home. The spa was nice and good value.

We appreciated that the supervisor, Corina, acted promptly when she heard that the marbled floor condensed badly during the night and resolved the problem quickly.

The fact that the tap water could be used to boil water was so much appreciated after we went to the second hotel with tap water that could not be drunk.

The stained toilet seat in the suite could use a change though. The beach was not as clean as I would like but the tiny crabs tunnelling in the sand made up for it.

Overall, the hotel is value for money.

The rooms was a bit dated especially the shower otherwise this would be a 5* review. The pool and outside areas are gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. The views to Bali stunning.

The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. It's worth staying at the hotel just to eat in both of the restaurants where the food and service couldn't be faulted.

The hotel itself is lovely. It is situated adjacent to the beach, has a great pool and beautiful gardens. The room I had was nicely decorated, good aircon and great bed. Above all, the staff were fabulous. Friendly and helpful and couldn't have been better.

Loved EVERYTHING about this resort!! We went for our honeymoon! We checked in late (around 8pm), but the staff were still so energized, enthusiastic, and welcoming. Indonesia is super hot and humid, and they gave us this tamarind drink that was very refreshing. They upgraded our room, gave us 2 free drinks and appetizers, and had dessert waiting for us in our room. The room was beautifully decorated and super clean. We drink a lot of water, and they ALWAYS replenished the water bottles in our room. Every single staff member was so sweet and so kind. Especially the concierge Perdi, who was INCREDIBLY helpful throughout our stay. He helped us with our luggages to the 4th floor (no elevator), gave us contacts for drivers, snorkeling tour guides, and much more. The beach was nice, the pool was even better! Very family-friendly but also had a swim-up bar. Bartenders and servers were super attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner menus was amazing. I loved trying all the Indonesian cuisine, and my husband loved that they also had western options. Lastly, the property was very well maintained. The coconut trees, all the beautiful flowers, geckos, baby sea turtles, and butterflies all felt very authentically Indonesian. We had the BEST time and cant wait to come back!

Nous avons séjourné 6 nuits dans une villa avec piscine privée et en front de mer. La villa est vraiment incroyable pour le prix que nous avons payé.

Le personne est vraiment aux petits
soins notamment Riski la personne en charge du nettoyage de la piscine et la manage de l’hôtel qui est venu personnellement au moment du Check out pour s’assurer que notre séjour s’est bien passé.

Sinon il faut trouver des points d’amélioration je dirais, la nourriture des restaurants à la carte pourraient être améliorée, la salle de sport n’est vraiment pas trop et les déchets dans la mer et au sur la plage. Le personnel a beau nettoyer tous les matins, malheureusement ce n’est pas suffisant. La plage reste toute fois très agréable.

En conclusion un excellent séjour nous avons passé.

We had a lovely stay at the Sheraton. It’s at the quiet end of senggigi but easily walkable to get to other restaurants and shops in the village.
The beach off the hotel is pretty, and the sea is nice but it’s quite a busy ocean area with jet skis and boats, but it’s charming and not noisy at all.
The staff are all lovely and breakfast is great. Excellent pianist playing each morning too.
The rooms are not new but they’re good size and everything works and is comfortable.
The gym is decent too, and the swimming pool is incredible.
Lovely place- would recommend it and will come back I’m sure.

Pool was filthy with green mold. No gluten free food at all offered at both restaurants, had to get a taxi and go to other local resorts for lunch and dinner to eat. I have stayed in Sheraton Hotels in many countries and this would have to be the worse. Very disappointed in the very poor standard. The beach was filthy with rubbish and plastic from a local drain, dare not put my head under the water. (forget snorkeling) Lots of Customer Service staff who smiled a lot and asked lots of questions, BUT did nothing! Maybe time for a new general manager and clean out some staff .... More like a 2 star hotel. Not happy at all !

Great location with lots of restaurants nearby

Good stay, the staff were brilliant especially Jaelani who serviced our room.
The hotel has a great location on the beach and close to many restaurants and bars along the main road.
One of the major pluses was a large gallon water bottle in the room.
The rooms are functional but looking a little dated and could do with refurbishment.
The other nice touch was the gift of a beach bag.

Love coming here, this was my second time visiting and my husbands first. The pool is beyond amazing and we spent the majority of the time there. The Buffett was excellent, and staff was the best. A real favourite

Have stayed at this gem of an hotel many many times and always have a fantastic stay. The hotel shows signs of age but the garden is spectacular as ever and though lots of the older staff have retired the young people are lovely and try their very best to make your stay pleasant. The food is excellent as well.
Service by the pool could be improved I think.
Looking forward to being back in this wonderful hotel again on August.

A lovely old fashioned hotel. No lift which did cause a challenge but we managed in the end. Tiwi in reception was fantastic, answered all my questions and helped organize a car to see some of Lombok. Alvira was great with her friendly attitude at breakfast. Thank you ladies. The area around the hotel is very dirty and this is the only negative as it spoils the Hotel .

Lovely pool area, although not many sun loungers around the pool. people put towels on loungers early in the morning to reserve them but didnt use them till later. All you can eat dining options great value. Resort a bit tired. Sun umbrellas need replacing as are ripped. Staff very friendly. No blockout curtains in our room! Our room (block 6) near the road so was quite noisy with motorbikes. Not a 5 star hotel. Can get better a better value hotel.

Apparently we were upgraded but the room was extremely tired and in much need of a renovation. The location of the room and thin walls meant that we heard everything from our neighbour and anyone going the reception. Also my son’s roll out bed was awful- we paid extra for this and it was so hard and horrible. the beach and the sea were dirty. The pool guys were too busy trying to sell trips to help us find the hard to find sun beds too.

An excellent hotel with exceptional staff

From the moment we checked into the Sheraton to the moment we checked out 5 days later, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Of course it's an older property and in need of some upgrading of rooms, which it seems they are in the process of doing. The room we had (3122) was near the lobby and the swimming pool as well as Senja Indonesian restaurant, a perfect position with a lovely little terrace with steps leading down to the garden and pool.

Check-in was fast and easy and because our room was not quite ready, we were given some vouchers for afternoon tea and either lunch or dinner for the duration of our stay. The food at the Sheraton was very good on the whole, particularly at the Bawang Putih restaurant next to the pool where we had dinner every evening. The service here and at all the restaurants was outstanding. The buffet breakfast was very good but lacked some of the flair that I expected from a Sheraton hotel. The one thing I didn't like was the live piano music that began at 8.30 every morning- I would much rather have a nice quiet breakfast minus the live music.

The pool at the Sheraton is perhaps the nicest pool I have seen in Asia in the 40 years I have lived here. It is beautifully maintained and is a joy to swim in. The one criticism I have is that for Senior Citizens and Persons With Disabilities, there are no railings anywhere, particularly at the steps into the pool but elsewhere in the hotel, making it quite hard to get around.

Had stayed here before and rated it 5 stars BUT now though the service is good the room condition is poor. Furniture is in bad condition, wardrobe doors hard to open, shower facilities is not up to a 5 star hotel standard. Yes the swimming pool is still good well maintained, food and staff service are good. Will I stay again if ever I go back to Lombok- no. Unless management renovate the rooms.

Housekeeping did remove one of our personal belongings, however, when mentioned to staff, they went above and beyond to retrieve said item and had multiple staff check and confirm that we had received our item. Unfortunately the rooms arent up to Sheraton standard.It was built in 1991, and the rooms havent been refurbised since then.Everything in the room is old, the curtains, wardrobe doors, furniture is that of a 3 star hotel.Extremely poor.

Unfortunately, this Hotel didn't match Sheraton standards, rooms date back to the 80s, need full refurbishment, curtains, chairs, cabinets really must go.
Majority of staff are very competent, apart from the waiters near the pool, they need guidance, no point standing 35 feet away, just about hiding behind something.
Hotel is nearer to the shops compared to other establishments and easy to get around, it does have a nice beach in front of the Hotel, and easy to get the ferry back to mainland.
If you have difficulty in walking, do not even consider the Sheraton, there are stairs everywhere, and plenty of them, no elevator in the Hotel at all.

I was very disappointed when I checked in the Afternoon of March 3rd. The woman who assisted me was not very friendly and provided me with a Room as far away from the Hotel / Lobby / Pool as Possible.

I asked this same woman on the Night of March 5th to change my Hotel Transportation pickup time from 6:15AM to 7:15AM, due to a Flight Change. Needless to say in spite of a lot of smiling and head nodding, this simple task could not be completed correctly.

It is very unlikely many Tourists will return to this Hotel unless they are able to find and train staff to be pleasant and complete simple tasks.

I had a really lovely stay for 5 nights. The location was great (close to town, right on the beach), absolutely loved the gardens and pool, the food was beautiful (great breakfast buffet with changing menu), restaurants (typical hotel/resort prices) and staff were super friendly, polite, helpful and attentive.
While the rooms were nice with clean sheets, comfy bed and good layout I think the bathrooms let them down. Tired and old and not super clean. This hotel has been around since the 90’s and it shows.
Senggigi as a whole needs a refresh.
Overall, a great hotel for families and relaxing comfy place to spend some time.

A real treasure of an Hotel.

I love this hotel and have been staying there for 22 years. The garden is beautiful as are the staff , always helpful and happy to go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms though a bit dated are big and comfortable. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Pool and beach are lovely.
I do think there needs to be work done with the pool area newer beach lounges and provide waiter service. One thing that was a concern was the number of outside conference groups .
Overall a lovely place to stay and will be definitely going back again.

Stayed 10 days with my Girlfriend, and we had a great time. The room was great, the bed was comfy, plenty of space! Easy to find bike rental near by and the food from the stalls nearby was amazing. The breakfast was great too, huge selection of foods catering for any dietary requirement. But the true hero's are the staff, they are all so friendly and attentive, helpful and genuinely nice. I had actually made a mistake on the dates i booked, booking 1 month later than intended by accident amd the staff where patient and helped us fix the error promptly. Id like to special mention for Ayu Darman (sorry for the spelling), she was one of the morning hosts at breakfast (i think maybe a manager) but she was really lovely and nice to talk, though admittedly it was mostly my gf speaking in bahasa with her rather than me in English, but still she was very helpful and kind. Thank you.

We stayed 4 nights before the new year. The staff are nice and friendly. Swimming pool and beach by the hotel is nice and child friendly. Food and drinks are ok in general. However this hotel is very old. There is no elevator, not friendly with family traveling with stroller or need assistance. The room is so outdated. It’s like 2 star motel. There is no fridge when we check in and they sent a dusty one later on after we requested and what’s worst it doesn’t even work. The kettle is so old and dirty. The door lock dropped the first day we check in. The switch of the lights didnt work, so we were unable to switch off the lights. The tv didnt work on the 3rd day and we tried to call the receptionist from the room and realized the phone was not working.....Have to go to lobby ourself to make request. It was not very comfortable stay. Hotel needs major updated big time !

The grounds are nice, including restaurants and bars that face the beach. The property does not live up to what’s typically expected of a Sheraton. I’ve stayed at other Sheraton Hotels in the U.S. and in Argentina (Iguazu). The lobby and entrance of the hotel needs a makeover. Plants are not groomed and looks dried up in front of the hotel. The lobby looks like something from the ‘70s. My hotel room was oceanview and faces the ocean directly. Even so, the bathroom had issues. I had to call maintenance to drain the sink twice. The paint and caulking in the bathroom looked so poorly done. The buffet was okay, large variety to choose from. This explains why The Sheraton was priced so low. I only stayed here one night to go to TiliG. If you’re looking for a luxurious hotel to stay fir a few days, this is not it. If you’re looking to stay one night en route to another location, then it’s ok.

Everything was wonderful at the Sheraton and I would highly recommend the Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

All the staff are warm, friendly and very accommodating.

The breakfast was great and we would like to give a special mention
to Gani, he is the best Barista ever.

He remembered our coffee order and every morning he would see us sit down in the courtyard and would make us our Cappuccino with a smile and a wave.

We have a really great time at the Sheraton and would gladly return to Lombok and the Sheraton.

The hotel is very well situated. Most of the staff were excellent, but some needed more training and not able to communicate very well, especially when ordering drinks, etc. Breakfast buffet plenty to choose from, though for a 5 star hotel not so impressive compared with other hotels around the world.

Great location, right on the beach and near shops and cafes. Totally amazing buffet breakfast with a huge range of foods but in particular daily changes in s range of delectable Indonesian foods. Super friendly and cheerful staff, always keen to help and make you happy. Beautiful grounds

Amazing hotel and location in the heart of Sengigi

Loved the hotel and location in the heart of Sengiggi. 4th visit and always good. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Love the pool and beach. Talented pianoist played during breakfast each day. Good restaurants at hotel and nearby. Will be back for sure.

Great holiday and top hotel just to short.

The hotel was superb. The people were delightful so helpful. The food was outstanding. Loved every minute. We had a balcony view where we could see the ocean. We so easily relaxed enjoying the pool and restaurants. We visited the restaurants and cafes close by prices and food were good. Did lots of tours which were wonderful just wished we had more time. Excellent time at this hotel couldn't have asked for more.

I don’t know where to start but I’ll say never stay here. Property was not as advertised whatsoever. Run down. Old. Moldy bathrooms. Had to leave our week (prepaid) stay after only one day and find another hotel. Of course Expedia AND Sheraton refuse to give any refund. Do not EVER stay here. It’s a lie. Food is terrible.

Not a five star resort. I’ve stayed at 2 star holiday inns in West Virginia better than this. Old and run down, horrible food. Was so bad, left after one day to find another resort. Do not stay here.

Excellent staff couldn’t ask for better always there to help and they know what you want before you even ask .. Amazing staff... Breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel massive selection to suit every taste and even have a barista for making coffees and fresh juices... outdoor area was really nice with a beautiful pool and beach which was all spotless..would def recommend to stay here if your in Lombok.. Rooms need to be updated as not very modern but very comfortable all the same but apart from that amazing stay..

Never Again! All around terrible experience, luckily just for one night. Check-in smooth but had to carry our own luggage while being accompanied to our room. Staff in general lackluster and energetically not keen to be there. Perhaps some bad luck being stuck in building #6 closest to very noisy road. Avoid this building as well as #5 at all cost. None of the advertised beach charm to be experienced here. Constant loud staff and moving trolleys (catering?!) did not add up to a good night sleep either. Room appears dated and not clean. Pool area was inviting but too much garbage laying around. Beach was nice but not swimmable because of lots of rocks near shore. Highlights were the pillows in the room, the nice lady at the omelette station and piano player during otherwise mediocre breakfast. About as poor of a price/quality ratio in recent hotel experience. But this is why we as a travel agent conduct these research trips, so we do not have expose our groups to this type of accommodation.

There was constant noise from maintence work being done around the hotel and outside our room. Building, chipping, sanding etc

My wife and I stayed 6 nights at the Shareton Sengigi. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel itself is a little bit older which can be seen in the bathrooms BUT that is basically the only thing. Everything is very clean, the rooms, the pools as well as the toilets and everything else. The staff is very friendly and try to please everyone. The hotel itself is quiet and very good for kids and families.
There are also 3 reataurants very close to the hotel which are very nice, but if you are happt to walk around 10 minutes, you will find many others.

All in all our stay was very nice and we will come back!

Nice relaxing hotel in good location on beach, nice grounds and pool area. Staff very good. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and good size. Good value for money. Buffet breakfast excellent with good choice of Indonesian and Western food. Lunch and dinner menu and food quality though very average but close to a lot of restaurants in main street serving good food.

Charming, Relaxing, Fantastic Staffs, BUT!

The Sheraton Senggigi is an old yet still very beautiful resort, which exceptionally well trained lovely staffs which is by far the highlight of the resort.

We booked 4 nights here with the Pool / Ocean View room, however, was given a ground floor room which is basically the Garden View room, this bitter taste leads us to not spending much more money at the resort and explore the local area for our meals which turned out to be an excellent alternative.

Top Tip: Go for the Suites or Villa and don't bother with these not so deluxe rooms. Unfortunately, we didn't see these options while booking. These not so deluxe room are far from 5 stars standard, the bathroom spells due to poor construction standard in the plumbing system, and in need of maintenance, for example, the shower grout looks dirty. The electrical box in our room failed every night with a loud buzzing sound for 4 nights and wake us up, and we have to call for an electrician to fix it.

All is forgiven as soon as you step outside as the rest of the resort is beautifully kept, especially the pool.

The breakfast is 5 stars and even include freshly ground coffee made to order.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here as we only went to our room to sleep, and would come back if we are travelling with the family and to give the Suites or Villa a try.
