Spacious resort with good facilities

Spacious resort with well kept garden. Rooms were separate bungalow style and spacious. One of the rooms had air conditioning issue but it was not too bad because we only stayed for 1 night. The resort looks tired so it needs to be refreshed. Rinjani restaurant has good food but service is slow. Breakfast has a huge variety of food and they were amazing. We also bought some handmade souvenirs from a craftman who was selling in front of Rinjani restaurant and from a little souvenir shop in the hotel area. They were good values

This is a very large property, gardens are beautiful and well cared for but not so the paths, decking by the ocean and the pool area! Lots of broken umbrellas bases but not enough umbrellas! Pool needs lots of maintenance! Rooms are still lovely and well serviced but once again maintenance is needed!
Staff are lovely but breakfast area is lacking in as much as clearing tables and filing up empty food containers! Because it's such a large hotel it's lost the personal feel!

Beautiful large grounds with the ocean on two sides, loved staying in the garden bungalow among stunning large trees and well kept flowering plants. Ocean views were spectacular especially from the beach bar area. Fun watching surfers too.
The hotel often hosts celebrations, which can be noisy. Music was always too loud. Sadly our stay was also interrupted by tree cutting, again very loud and right beside the pool.
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, good food and the pool.

I love this waterfront property and because it is Government owned has stayed open and in great condition. We had a beachfront bungalow one of many on huge grounds very relaxing. There is a great restaurant in the front of the property with either inside eating or a table on the sand, it has the most beautiful sunsets.
On the downside better to book Monday to Saturday, when we were there parts of the grounds are used for other purposes and people can pay to use the facilities for a day on the weekends.
Outside this beautiful resort most of the shops have either closed or falling down very sad, but there are fantastic day trips so you holiday will not be borinh

As this is one of the more expensive hotels in the area, with some nice looking photos and generally good reviews, we had high expectations. However the location of the beach room wasn't quite as private as we expected, but the main disapointment was the cleanliness and general condition of the bathroom. It was dirty, with mould. On the plus side the staff and breakfast were great.

Must stay resort if visiting Senggigi

The Kila Senggigi is one of the oldest and best resorts on Lombok. Some of the rooms are a little older but the hotel is actively renovating to improve this. As such one of the two restaurants was closed while we were there but never the less the food was excellent, the beaches were fantastic and the people incredibly friendly. While certainly more expensive than a number of other hotels in the area, the Kila has direct access to arguably the best beach in the area. It is a public beach and does get a little crowed on Sundays when a lot of the locals come but that's how you know it's great. The hotel does have reserved space just a little ways off the way too so you'll never fight for a spot.

Very good hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was buffet and variable with both asian and western food available. on the beach front, short walk to restaurants and close to one area where you can catch a boat to the Gilli Islands. Although we left further up as it was only 20mins to the islands compared to one and a half hours further south. Resort had plenty of activities for all the family. Tennis, bikes, pool, massages and a couple of restaurants.

The magnificent hotel with immaculate garden and lovely Indonesian style bungalows is the best of Lombok.
The breakfast is a feast and snokling in front of the hotel beach is great.
At weekends there’s bbq buffet at sunset by beach restaurant with alive music.

Beautiful and huge property. Rooms are clean and spacious and worth the price, however, I would recommend hotel to install higher tonnage air conditioners because of the big room size. Another thing to work upon is the noise that can be heard from the adjacent room; this makes things a little unpleasant.
Food at the restaurants is good and economical. The location of hotel is awesome as it is close to harbour.

Amazing property to rest and relax. A bit dated. Didn’t like the beach so much tho. Not good for swimming and the waves were quite harsh when we stayed there at that time. Staffs were polite and breakfast was good except after a few days stay, it is the same old food most times. Other than that, we enjoyed walking around the property which is well maintained.

Hotel with big compound and beautiful garden and plants. Nice beach with beautiful sunset view but the beach is rather busy and crowded with locals.
Disappointed with the room cleanliness. As a 5 stars hotel, it should be better in maintaining high level of cleanliness in the room. I had bed bugs bites on my arm the next day for just 1 night sleep. The window frame is full of dust. The bathroom and wash basin can see stains when we just checked in to the room and before use. However, the room and bed is quite comfortable despite the not so clean condition.
Breakfast is good with quite many varieties. Having breakfast in the restaurant by pool side and facing the beach with sea breeze in the morning is enjoyable.

Its just alright if your staying this hotel for a short time. Foul smell in the toilet bowl like a rotten rat, it could be from there sewerage, lucky we are out everyday doing different things. Breakfast is not bad, but its not the best, I thought its a bit pricey, I wasn't happy with the cleanliness either. .The only good thing in this hotel is pretty close to the beach where lots of local people gather to see the sunset..

The grounds are SO big there's always a new discovery somewhere.
It's guarded, everyone is helpful. I loved the beach frontage with soft white sand n the quiet spots within the grounds to relax in .. Sunrise n sunset can be seen without leaving the premises.

Second stay at beautiful Kila Senggiggi and will definitely return. Incredible gardens and location for a hotel. This time we stayed in a garden view bungalow and it was so quiet and relaxing. The rooms are big and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Satisfying breakfast with good selection of local and western food. The beach bar and restaurant are a good place to watch the sunset and enjoy a meal. Great hotel with beautiful Lombok style.

Upscale price for a mediocre hotel!

We stayed at this resort with the impression there was 2 pools which was supported by the pictures to find out the secondary pool was for a separate villas all together, all activities tennis badminton, ping pong were all aderveristwd but all for a fee very misleading! Drinks were absurdly overpriced, food was good location was good staff were friendly. There was a world jazz festival onsite which was no warning was given for prior to arrival music was so loud u couldn't sleep even with ear plugs for every night of our stay til 3am in the morning. I Highly suggest staying somewhere else if u want more fun for your $$$$. I will not be returning to this resort ever!

The grounds are well kept, lovely hotel staff in all areas. My husband and I didn't know what to expect but we had the best holiday ever! Excellent location close to local restaurants, nightlife if you want and great swimming and snorkeling right there. A few sellers on the beach, friendly and not overly pushy like Bali. We will be pleased to plan another trip next year. Loved Kila Beach Senggigi, Lombok!

Overall a nice place, good service, good breakfast. The only blot on their book, was the Sunday evening, beach meal. Food cold, not much of it, took an hour to the table, twice the price as outside the complex. Also took 20mins to get a second drink. Staff asleep and inattentive. Stayed in room 323 and it had a sea view. Room spacious and everything was very clean. Room has everything you need. Air con worked well and was quiet.
About an hour drive to airport. 200,000 in taxi or 250,000 with private driver.
Under an hour to port where you catch fast boats to the Gili's. 85,000 one way to Gili Air.
In the main part of Senggigi so that was great.
Hotel grounds were amazing! 5-8 min walk to beach from room. Both restaurants meals were the best I've had in indo so far.
You will love the place!

Great Resort, rooms need a bit of TLC

Firstly the staff were amazing and so friendly. The grounds were immaculate and very clean. The pool was a great comfortable temperature and very nice. The beach was a bit of hit and miss- beautiful one day, but lots of rubbish washed in on the tide the next (not the resorts fault), the sand had a lot of shells so it was difficult to walk on here and there. There was nice snorkeling on the other side of the resort (left side) with lots of fish). The sunsets are simply amazing too.
The rooms were a bit on the old side. We had a seaview room which had great views. The bathroom was a bit smaller than what i would have liked.
It was in a good location not far from other restaurants. But happy hour at the Sunset bar is a must do!

Because of its size, this property can be a little daunting. The walk from your room to breakfast can be a bit of a hike. The grounds are immaculately maintained. Staff - from those at the front desk to the groundsmen - are very friendly and polite.
At the beach, I found the undertow to be quite strong. Warnings to that effect should be posted. Signage to the freshwater shower and foot bath definitely needs to be improved.

The resort location is very close to the beach, and within walking distance to the groceries stalls and restaurants, bars etc. wifi is pretty good. The staffs were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be better and improved. As well as the room furniture and fittings. It is time to renew and upgrade but overall the resort is better than our expected.

Not bad, but not the hotel I would choose

The ground of the hotel were nice, and I liked the Italian restaurant on the beach. However, the rooms were old and not that nice. Would recommend any of the hotels along the stretch of beach near Puri Mas. That beach is just 5 minutes north of the area where Kila is, but the beach is much nicer and MUCH less crowded.

Overall not too bad, but our experience at the beach 5 minutes north was much better.

A true beach hotel with everything you need!

A great hotel where I have stayed 3 times now.
The surrounding is absolutely perfect with the hotel on a small peninsula which gives a nice breeze almost every time. It is quiet and gives a true relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel is right next to the beach which is clean and nice.
The food is delicious and prices fair. There are a lot of restaurants close by if you want some other options.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming and I can hardly think of a better place to stay in Lombok!

Hotel is right on the beach but yet close enough to town for dining and shopping. Closer attention needs to be paid to details like: softer beds, spotlessly white, not slightly gray towels/linens, shower stall shelf/caddy, brighter/better lighting in the bathroom for applying makeup, magnifying mirror, bigger and more powerful hairdryer that won't tangle hair in the intake air vent, more comfortable seating in the room for reading, a clock radio or iPod docking station/music channel, bigger screen and better positioning of the TV, hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes or toiletry bag, providing a flashlight for power outages, etc. to merit a 4-star rating.

Had a problem with the air conditioner the first couple of days so they shifted us to another room which was great. The gardens are still beautiful although it is very dry,no rain yet. Great place to stay with attentive staff. The beach surrounding the hotel is perfect.

Outdoor bathroom lovely but indoor bathroom a little worn.We booked because they advertised a kids club but only a lovely but non English speaking student there with toys for very young children or a TV. No other children in the Club the whole 4 days we were there.

Kila Sengigigi Beach Lombok is a beautiful hotel with big, clean grounds, comfortable rooms and a nice view of the sea. The sea-view rooms come with their own private balcony facing the sea, while the hotel also has a private beach (common for all guests) on another side. The staff are decorous, friendly, helpful and try to make your stay a pleasant one.

We checked in late as we were from Mt Rinjani. Extremely drained out from the strenuous trekking session and all we wanted was a hot shower and comfortable bed to sleep. To our surprise, we were rewarded with a free upgrade to a sea view bungalow and near to the main lobby.

The room was spacious and the sight of the bed was simply enticing. We then headed out to a in house restaurant for our dinner at the beach, couldnt recall the name but the food was good.

Breakfast spread was alright and then after we head for our well deserved massage which was close to our bungalow. We had to settle with a hour massage as were were checking out soon. I would recommend their massages and it was well worth the price despite the 21% gst charge. 2 thumbs up for the 2 petite ladies!

Following that we walk by the beaches which was quite a stretch. it was simply relaxing enjoying the calming view of the sea and enjoying the morning breeze.

I just wished to have stayed longer. Other than that I am a happy traveler.

The resort was wonderful. Right on the beach. Staff was very friendly! Great food! Would love to come back! Bathroom in the bungalow could use a little updating, but overall we had a great time by all!

Average hotel - poor breakfast

Hotel service is really bad. We tried to order some foods at night around 7pm, but no one pick up the phone. There are 3 tables for reception but only one person sit and ready to help.

Breakfast buffet is average, they don't have many options.

staff were very good
rooms were spacious, clean, nice balcony
as the case with most hotels in Indonesia the beds are very firm so mattress topper would be good
the beach is clean
food and beverage is expensive would be the only negative
Overall a nice place to stay
