Normally don’t stay at large resorts but this one was beautiful. Just a warning you will do a lot of walking and waking up early to grab seats. The food was just okay It was very pricey if your used to going to an all inclusive be prepared to spend an additional 2 grand on food.

Overall experience was great! Food was good, atmosphere is great. Most of the staff was excellent….few grumpy ones, but they were few and far between.
Only a few small issues: The room was not clean by 5pm on 4 of the 6 days, so most days it never got cleaned bc we needed to start getting ready for our dinner reservations.
Also, allowing people to throw footballs and other balls all around the pools was a big issue for us. It is distracting and inconsiderate to other guests. My Gf was struck in the face w a football; thrown by a 17 year old boy playing catch with his Dad. They were throwing the ball from one end of the pool to the other. This could have easily broken her nose or injured someone else. This policy seems questionable at best and I was very surprised this was allowed at a resort of this caliber.

Other than that, I would highly recommend Baha Mar!

The resort was really nice and great for groups and families but the prices you pay for the quality is not good. My tequila soda and turkey sandwich which was very subpar costed me $60 which I think is insane. They also add a service charge and VAT tax to every transaction which makes it worse. Some staff was exceptionally great while others were very rude. Casino was so fun and overall nice place, just very expensive for average quality

let me correct the dates of our stay. we were there April 14th, to April 21st. 2026. The property was very clean any where we went in the Baha Mar. The outside grounds always clean their cleaning staff took pride in their work. the staff was so pleasant and Breakfast was so fresh especially Cafe Madeleine. I'm not happy with the hotel fees being in US dollars charged to us when we paid our trip in Canadian dollars. I found that a little unfair. Casino was so big and lots of fun.
We will visit again.

This was my third time at Baha Mar since 2021 and the quality has unfortunately steadily declined while the price has gone up. The food, even at the nicer restaurants, is very mediocre. The rooms are clean-ish. Overall the value is just not there for the price of the rooms, food, and drink. Everything feels like a money grab. You can get decent seats at the pool without paying, drinks are watered down, and the staff are a mix of helpful and not caring at all. It was an unfortunate experience and we won’t be back. It makes me sad because in 2021 everything was significant better.

Everything about the trip was good, however you had to check every receipt for hidden charges or double charges. The infinity pool was freezing because the heater wasnt working but was never told that when booking 3 150.00 chairs. I was a struggle to get a refund. When checking in we paid 150.00 early check-in. It was only an hour before actual check-in that we were allowed to check-in. They would not give us a refund.

Staying at the Hyatt was a total resort experience: crowded, a chaotic maze to get around the property, and overpriced everything. We bought the breakfast package which was a mistake due to long breakfast lines every morning (including a line at the Starbucks at 6:30am) and didn't make any dinner reservations because of how this place boasts about having 45 dining experiences on site. On our first morning there, we tried to make reservations with the concierge for dinner while we were staying, and they could not help us at all. They couldn't find a single availability for our entire stay and told us we just needed to show up early. We ended up waitlisting for dinner every night and didn't eat dinner till after 7:30-8-9:00. The staff were friendly and as patient about their lack of availability as they could be. The property was clean and the rooms cleaned daily. We were on the fountain side of the property which was cool to see the nightly light show. The weather wasn't great and the water was cold, so we mostly stuck around the warm water pools. There were never available pool chairs without renting in advance, so we just shoved our swim bags by a rock and hoped nobody would take our stuff. We had massages at the spa which were very relaxing, but the acoustics of the spa hallway made it very easy to hear people outside. Overall we had a nice time, but don't recommend for people who aren't used to staying at a resort requiring reservations made in advance for EVERYTHING.

Large property with lots to do, good atmosphere, good food and options. Only down side I would stress is they take shortcuts on the little things to complete the full picture. Rooms do not have robes for each guest, single ply toilet paper, no water in the rooms, or convenient filling stations near rooms. Given tips are added to every bill and included in daily resort fees, employees do very little to service you to a 5-star level.

Check-in took about 20 minutes, and our room wasn’t ready. We were given access to amenities, but no one mentioned the arrival/departure lounge—which we later found and really liked.

The room was outdated and not very clean—stained curtains and carpet, dirty balcony doors, and a poorly maintained sink area. The bed was comfortable, but overall it needs a refresh.

Pools were extremely crowded with limited seating, and one adults-only pool was often closed for private events. The beach had plenty of chairs, but the water wasn’t swimmable due to seaweed.

Food was very expensive, plus added taxes and gratuities. Starbucks and Pizza Lab were great; other options were just okay.

Staff were friendly, but pool areas needed more frequent cleaning.

Overall, the resort has potential, but it doesn’t match the price. For what we paid, we expected a more relaxing experience, cleaner accommodations, and better value for the cost of food and amenities.

The Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar is a great place to vacation. You never need to leave the resort. Plenty of restaurants, pools, beach, casino, what more can you need.
One nite, make restaurant reservations long in advance of your vacation.

This hotel was an amusement park, not a vacation. We left after the second day to spend the remainder of our vacation at another hotel. There were WAY TOO MANY guests and not enough amenities to accommodate them. They state they have 45+ restaurants but that is false! Tiny little food trucks that serve terrible food and takeout huts are considered a restaurant but are only open during the day, so night time selection for dinner is very limited. On top of that not all restaurants are open every night of the week, so on the day of our arrival we got rejected at every restaurant that was open which was few. Your basically told to make reservations or don’t expect food, but there is only so much reservation availability for 3 full towers of hotel guests totalling to thousands of people. The one night we did do dinner we went to the steak house which had mediocre food, wouldn’t eat the steak again. You end up waiting in a long line up everywhere you go. The beach has people packed like sardines, again not enough space to accommodate the number of guests that stay. Room wasn’t cleaned on day 2, house keeping seemed overwhelmed. Loud music being blasted on speakers literally everywhere you go. To top it all off the rooms and decor are mediocre at best. We don’t mind paying premium pricing for a premium room and amenities, but nothing about this hotel was worth the pricing. We were much happier spending the remainder of our vacation at another hotel. 100% do not recommend this hotel.

Wonderful spot for a family vacation! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the property and all amenities. Food was exceptional! Every single meal was delicious and exceeded our expectations. There are countless options for families of all sizes when dining.
Waterpark and beach were the highlight for our kids. Absolutely loved the property.

Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar is my most favorite place to stay while visiting Nassau. Definitely better than Atlantis. Property is beautiful, every staff member is amazing, especially housekeeping. Always saying \"Good Morning\" and working hard on keeping up with the rooms. I also love all the restaurant options offered a Baha Mar. I have never had a bad meal or experience. Pools are great and beach is too.

not very happy when I got back home. April 13 they charged my charge card $105.38. They told me that that would be given back to me that it was just deposit. I left that room in tiptop condition and charged nothing to my room. I was only there one night. Now I need to figure out how I can get my money back. There was no explanation of why they charged my card.

I felt like a very small cog in an elaborate mechanism engineered to squeeze drom me the maximal amount of money in the minimal amount of time. All good Reataurants filling booked for the duration of my stay…BY THE DAY WE ARRIVED.
Graycliff’s hotel dinner and wine cellar tour—plus swimming with pigs—were the highlight of our stay.

Think “Disney meets Las Vegas” in the Caribbean - crowded, chaotic, and overwhelmingly geared toward families. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, adult getaway, this is absolutely not the place!

The resort was packed with kids everywhere, and there was zero sense of calm or serenity at any point during our 5-night stay. It felt more like an amusement park than a luxury resort.

To make matters worse, we lost an entire day of our vacation due to an injury caused by the lounge chairs. They are cheaply made and packed so tightly together that there’s virtually no space to move safely. This resulted in a trip to the local hospital—completely unacceptable for a resort at this price point.

Speaking of cost—everything is overpriced. You’ll pay premium prices across the board, yet the experience doesn’t match.

Dining was hit or miss. Marcus Fish + Chop House was excellent and a standout meal. However, most dining options came with long lines, and dinner reservations are absolutely necessary if you want to eat! Pizza Lab was an absolute disaster when it rained all day. We stood in line for 45 minutes for takeout, only to be told at the register that they had stopped making pizzas. No warning, no communication—just a huge waste of time.

Overall, despite the variety of amenities and food choices, the overcrowding, lack of relaxation, safety concerns, and high prices made this a disappointing experience. We all agreed—this is not a place we would ever choose to return to.

I booked a ride to the airport through Expedia with shuttle central. They never showed up which made a very stressful situation for my 10 year old son and I. I will not use Expedia ever again if these are the companies you do business with.

We booked an ocean view suite in the reserve and would highly recommend that for families traveling. The breakfast and happy hour spreads were amazing after long pool/waterpark and beach days. We were very underwhelmed by the sushi restaurant but other than that we loved our stay and will be back.

Bajamar, by far is the most expensive hotel ive ever stayed in, everything is so far over the top expensive, from a single ice cream cone 15 dollars, food is so expensive, unless you bring a fat wallet dont plan on coming here . they make you tip automatically on everything then add to tip more . beaches are just ok compared to others, yes it has 30 pools but you can never get a lounge chair unless you pay huge sums to the pool boys, we will never recommend or go again.

Overall it was a great stay, a bit overpriced and very crowded during the last week of March. One thing we really didn’t enjoy was the fight over pool chairs everyday. If you didn’t get up at 6 am and put items on chairs, or pay for a reserved chair, it was impossible to get a chair anywhere near any of the pools. The beach was also crowded, but could find chairs there at least. The food was very good at most places. We loved breakfast at Cleo and Madeleine. Tip- order the continental and kids breakfast room service meals- was the cheapest option for breakfast. Our favorite day was probably the Baha Beach club since they credit your food since you pay for the chairs. We ate lots of good food, server comes to chairs, infinity pools are warm and amazing views.
I’ve seen a lot of comments about staff being unpleasant, but that wasn’t our experience. Everyone we encountered was very helpful and friendly. I actually slipped on a sandy walkway and dropped a tray of food- the lifeguard and another employee came over and helped me, cleaned up my scrapes, and got us another tray of food.
Would definitely return, but maybe not during spring break or holiday season!

The crowds were a real issue. Couldn’t even get a seat at the pool! Also, the food orders were always incorrect! They didn’t clean the room that well and never had enough towels.
I was extremely disappointed.
And the cost was very very high for what we received in return. Not to mention the view which was promised to be Ocean view was anything but!

Wonderful resort. Fiancé and I have been 3 times now and every time we are impressed and enjoy ourselves. This trip was the first time in March which we can confirm is their high season and the resort had many more people (particularly spring breakers), much calmer in early May and in late September. Still had a wonderful time but definitely needed to be on the beach by 7am or no beach loungers available! Good food is always available at the resort restaurants Cinko, Costa, and the regatta for seafood night. We love the manor bar and the new jazz club as well!

The staff at Baha Mar were very friendly and helpful with whatever you needed. Staff came in to clean the room, make the bed, re-stock all items daily. Breakfast was excellent at Cafe Madeline. Starbucks was good for breakfast too if you want to avoid paying 15% tip. My fiancé played blackjack one night and the dealer was very helpful in learning more about the game. The food was excellent and top notch. We had an excellent time at the resort and an awesome vacation. A lot to do on the property!

Welcome to the Bellagio of the Bahamas!-) Beautiful resort, very expensive once you are there. Loved the beach, the water, the view, the fountains, the flamingos, the tortoises, the pools, the pier, the beach staff, the water park, the aquarium, the surf simulator, the basketball courts, the mini golf and the vibe of the Bahamas. Hands down a resort for every member of your family! Only downside was the prices of the restaurants vs the quality received didn’t seem to match (with the exception of the Pizzs Lab).
