The rooms are nice and clean but the air conditioning is too high and the rooms are freeze and this kind of cold doesn’t help for sleeping! There was no way to lower the temperature!

The breakfast was not available for early flights, there was no option for doggy bags, so unfair for the clients, considering the price paid!

The staff was very nice and helpful !

I checked in the day before I was flying back home because I wanted to decompress after a long stay in PR, and this was just what I needed. It was very clean, quiet, and obviously conveniently located, so I was able to sleep in a little before my flight. Staff was friendly, my room was ready early so they checked me in right away. And the restaurant was gracious with me ordering food to go, even though it was right around closing on Mother’s Day! Definitely will stay here in the future.

It is not soundproof as advertised. The planes arriving and departing are not terribly disruptive but if you are expecting soundproof it is not. Very convenient for an early flight, easy walk to check in. Somewhat expensive, but did make our morning much less stressful.

I don't know what some other folks expect from an airport hotel, but what I want is convenience, cleanliness, ease of check in and out and a room set up for travelers on the go.

Which is exactly what we got! The front desk was helpful and welcoming (Michael, I think) and clear with instructions and information. He even helped us book a car for 5 people and notified us when it arrived so we could wait inside!

The room was small and basic, and clean. Air-conditioning worked well, water pressure and temperature was great, towels and sheets fine. The real treat were the multiple charging ports - on the desk, on each side of the bed - perfect for two people with 5 devices between them.

Our floor had ice, vending for snacks and drinks and a nice outdoor terrace called a spa.

Sadly, the two hot tubs out on that terrace were empty, but honestly, I don't know if we would have gotten in and then pondered what to do with wet bathing suits when we got out. Oh, wait! - There's also a laundry on that floor. (Bring your own soap if washing, or maybe ask at the front desk.)

Breakfast was included and had standard steam tray options. Espresso drinks were not included but you could buy them across the hall. There's a small bar that makes strong drinks.

One negative in our room was the fan in the bathroom. It was the little engine that couldn't, stuttering and whining as it tried to work (302 for the staff to know.) But the mirror lit up so we didn't need to use the overhead light.

San Juan Airport Hotel is quite convenient for me as an overnight stop to and from the BVI. Rooms and amenities are simple but clean. I had a nice dinner of some Puerto Rican specialties at Campo Verde restaurant and their breakfast buffet was quick, convenient and filling. All staff were very friendly, helpful and professional.

My son became ill on our flight from SJU to JFK, so the plane returned to SJU. We were taken to San Jorge Hospital. My mother found your hotel, loved the upgraded appearance, the fact that breakfast was an option, and your being located in the airport. She booked 1 night stay, and then when we received my son's diagnosis and were told we had to stay an additional 3 days, my mom extended our stay. My only complaint was the air conditioning was broken for 2 days. My room was great, the staff was kind, the Latin restaurant was outstanding, the gym came in handy for my husband, and I loved the fact that I was able to use the laundry room for free, especially since the prolonged stay was out of our hands. Overall, I was truly impressed with your hotel.

Room was facing outward towards the front of the airport, so plane noise was not an issue.
Breakfast was good although if you had eggs cooked on demand they request that you not eat the scrambled eggs from the buffet. (ODD) everything else was quite good.

We arrived at 2 a.m. and stayed just one night, and overall it was just okay. The room was extremely small and felt claustrophobic. It looked clean at first glance, but I wasn’t fully confident it was thoroughly cleaned. The beds were also uncomfortable. What really bothered me was that housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 a.m. and told us to leave the door open when we checked out, even though checkout wasn’t until 11. After a late arrival, being woken up like that wasn’t ideal. It worked for a quick overnight before heading to Rincón, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

Sadly I have nothing good to say about this experience. Checked in and found somewhere else to go. A/c terrible. Flours wet due to humidity. Room wouldn’t cool. I have never left a reservation before but this was bad enough that we left.

I generally enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Getting there and navigating the surrounding area felt a little like a maze at first, but I have to give credit where it’s due—the signs were placed in exactly the right spots. Just when you started to feel confused, there was a sign pointing you in the right direction.

The room itself was cute, clean, and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. A couple of small things were missing that would have made it even better: there was no complimentary lotion, and there wasn’t a bag in the ice bucket.

The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the staff did a great job keeping everything clean, stocked, and neat. Overall, I had a positive experience and would stay again.

Food from the restaurant was ok, drinks was good. I had a passion fruit smoothie. Breakfast was fresh. Staff service was good. Room was ok, tiny in size compared to other hotels. We had to call maintenance because the sink was clogged and the bathtub water pooled before it drained while you’re taking a shower. Hotel is ok for a layover but wouldn’t recommend if staying for longer than that. Positive thing, although that we were right at the airport it was not really noticeable as the rooms are said to be soundproof. Parking garage was right across the ramp. They are also right next to a police station. Considering that we were still at the airport it felt safe enough.

The breakfast was good. Hotel is showing its age and the rooms adjacent to the front of the hotel (overseeing the road and parking garage) are loud. I expect some plane noise, but airport announcements, rental cars running over the don't-backup plates were like the windows were open. The room was advertised as king size. It was a small queen and in a 10x10 room. No room. Desk was unusable.

I must say Kevin at the bar was outstanding. He provided exceptional customer service. His version of an espresso martini is amazing. I didn’t try the breakfast since I decided to sleep in. I would say that the breakfast hours should be extended till at least 11 AM the front desk associates aren’t so pleasant. I know I did arrive a little earlier for check-in and they made the excuse that they couldn’t accommodate me which I found odd since there were rooms available and I noticed that they allow someone else to check in before the check in time. It is located in the airport. I must say that you must go to the lower level to catch an Uber or a Lyft no one would explain that to you so to make your life easier by just taking a quick left as soon as you come out of the airport and go down the stairs that’s right next to the police station. It’s a very small hotel. It is very convenient. If you’re looking for something that is less hassle, I strongly suggest you to pick this hotel and if you are going on a cruise which isn’t very far from the cruise port about a 20 minute ride so would I recommend yes, long stays no quick turnovers absolutely.

We stayed one night and were pleased with our stay. Check in went smooth. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was convenient, the food and service were enjoyed. Breakfast service starts at 5:00AM and there were so many choices. We were able to grab something quick before we needed to make the short walk to the terminal for our flight. It's a no frills hotel but it worked out really well for our situation.

Obviously this hotel is at the best location for an early flight which is why we stayed here. It looks like it is from the 60’s, which could be cool with some updates. The hallway is undecorated whit concrete wall so even on the 4th floor we felt like we were in the basement. The room was very small and felt basement-y even with a view of the airport road.

The hotel is very convenient for an early morning flight as you can drop your car off at the airport the night before and just walk to the terminal in the morning through inside hallways.

Just a couple of issues with the room we had:

The light built into the bed headboard was flickering and the only way to fix it was to unplug the baseboard, which, unfortunately, also unplugs the end table lamps, so you had to get out of bed and turn the main light off before going to sleep. Not a big deal but should get fixed.

The shower needs new grout. There's huge gaps where it's just gone and I'm really surprised there isn't water damage in the ceiling below. Again, not an issue for the use of the room but I'm sure it will cost the hotel more $$$ at some point to fix versus doing a grout repair.

My daughter and I had dinner in the hotel restaurant. There were not a lot of options and the price of the food was very high for what was available. I ordered a soup and with a side order of white rice. The rice was crunchy and hard. They served the bottom left over of the rice. I told the waiter and he thought it was funny. He said he would tell them. Never offered to replace it or offer something different. Then when he brought the check he said he gave me a small discount which was nothing. But expected a tip. I wouldn’t advise eating there for poor service and bad food.

This hotel is actually connected to the airport, so it is very convenient. We had to wait two hours for our room to be ready and staff wasn't particularly sympathetic. Though we did try to check in before 4pm. Most rooms have double beds, very few kings and no rooms with two beds I could see. Room was clean but fairly small. The real plus is the location, as I couldn't find many hotels near the airport and none with airport shuttles.

The fire alarm woke us up at 6am telling us we needed to evacuate immediately… we of course took that very seriously and left the room in our pjs with only my purse. We rushed down the stairs and saw absolutely no one in the lobby to direct us… which was terrifying. As we were about to exit the building, one concierge finally arrived nonchalantly and let us know it was a technical issue…. Seriously?!!? Shouldn’t staff be right by the staircase to try to calm people down instead of being no where to be found!! I was absolutely furious

Unlike other hotels, If you don’t put the maid service sign on your door your room will not be cleaned.

Also, arrangements should be made with the airport for guests parking. I had to pay $30 a day to park my rental. That added to the nightly cost of the room…well let’s say I could have gotten someplace cheaper and just as nice. The complimentary breakfast is decent.

The hotel is a nice, clean, fabulous scented hotel. Well kept and maintained.
