The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable, the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, thats where the good ends. This property is in dire need of renovation. We went to the restaurant on the 2nd floor, the smell hit you like Mike Tyson. Smell of mold. The rooms are tony, wear your shin gaurds. The hotel itself looks to be 60+ years old, with minimal renovations to keep current. Not worth the price of staying.

Without their help, we would have never gotten all our stuff to the ticket counter in time to make our flight.

Everything was good. It served all of our needs. We were able to get dinner at 9:30 at night. The room was very small, but it was sufficient. The air-conditioning worked great. It was quiet. We were able to have complementary breakfast in the morning, which was what you would expect. The convenience of it being in the airport was great because we could go right there when we got off our plane and able to go right to our cruise pick up service in the morning.

The actual hotel is beautiful. I had a couple of concerns. The hotel is in the San Juan Airport. I drove by it twice but couldn’t find the entrance. I stopped and asked a policeman, and he indicated that the Hotel was at the end of the departure area (or second floor) of the airport. Good to know. Most troubling is that there is no easy way to drop off luggage. Most hotels have luggage unloading areas. I had to circle the airport while my wife took the two large luggage to the room. The police would not let me wait for my wife to come with me to drop off the luggage. I was told at the counter to return my rental and then take the luggage to the hotel. I wanted to use my car in the evening after checking in. Additionally, I did not want to push my luggage from the rental office.

Front Desk staff is very friendly, room was clean and it certainly is convenient. Yes, there is noise from the airplanes, but that’s to be expected. We got off a cruise and arrived early to spend the night and fly out the next day. We knew our room wouldn't be ready so we dropped off our bags and went to a bar and grill.
We returned around 2:00pm and as expected our room still wasn't ready so we waited in the lobby. We had to stand around because there aren't many chairs to sit.There was a couple of dozen others who were also waiting. At 2:30, 3:00, 3:30 people were walking in and there rooms were ready, but not the ones who were waiting. It seems to me that housekeeping would be instructed to clean the rooms for people who are waiting first. The staff basically didn't give a damn. At 4:00pm, the advertised check in time, our room and many others were not ready. It was nearly 5:00pm before our room was ready. Judging by the people standing and waiting there was at least 10 rooms still not ready at 5:00pm. I paid extra to stay in a premium suite and was one of the last to be checked in. Not having the rooms ready by the 4:00pm check is completely unacceptable, inexcusable, and unforgivable. Greedy owners need to hire enough staff to have all rooms available by the 4:00pm.

The hotel is also stark white with barely any decorations or carpeting to deafen the sounds. The food at the restaurant was good.

Don’t second guess this property. The staff was EXCELLENT. Alex gave me a history lesson while I waited. I arrived early they informed me as soon as a room became available. The room was small but perfect for what I needed…a clean bed. The breakfast was delicious. The convenience of walking from the airport to the hotel was perfect, less than a five minute walk.
